Anyone know how to fix it where a custom-made will stop crashing? COuld it be due to how big or small it is? Or how many meshes?

Is it your own map that you are making that keeps crashing? If so try looking here:

but if it is someone else's map that keeps crashing as you enter it try messing with your video settings:
Change your Rendering Subsystem between OpenGl to Direct3D9
Turn Anti Aliasing to none
Turn View Distance to 0
Turn Water Reflection to off

Well, its my friend's map, but it crashes for her. Im fine in it though. :3

Ok well tell her to follow the change of video settings that I suggested above and if that doesn't work maybe she misplaced her own map's files some how. It's strange but the map should be working for her especially if she is the one who made it since it would have been crashing on her while she was making it. Maybe suggest that she review her map's files again in case she misplaced or deleted any:
I'm not much of a map maker but this should be the order of her files for the most part:
FHM files go into FH>Media>Terrains
FHO files go into FH>Media>Objects
FHS/FHW go into FH>Media>Sky
Music files go into FH>Media>Sounds/Music
If she adjusts any files while the game is still on she should then restart the game

If it still doesn't work:
Does she get any error messages upon the crashes and if so what are they?
Sometimes individuals can not access custom maps at random times for some reason and it says that it can not connect to the map server even though the individual has not modified or deleted any files. When this happens it sometimes restores back to normal on its own after a few days. If so maybe tell her to give it a few hours or days before trying to reenter her own map.
