Well, I made my first heightmap following this Youtube video, as far as I know I have done everything right. 513 x 513, grayscale and all. I tried to open it in Feralheart and the game crashed, so I went onto the fix video, did what it said and it still crashed, I don't know why and It is REALLY annoying me, it's happened to me before. I just want to make a map. Any help?

Did you make the map using only one layer?

Yes, I merged them all down onto one. I'm using the new gimp, it's a rubbish version if you ask me. I had to export it to make it PNG. But when I highlight it in My Documents it says it's a PNG, Will it effect it?

Well you have to have only used one layer for the whole thing. Even merging the layers wont work and where did you save it?

Into Terrains with the ending. But Im sure if you merge the layers making it 'One' Layer is the whole point of merging, I only merged on the copy I made for trying to fix it, not on the actual thing

You can PM the file to me and I can open it in my GIMP and see if there's anything wrong with it. I'll fix it then send it back to you. That's only if you want to though.

Ok, i PMed you the link to the fixed version. You had the alpha channel on, i removed it for you. It should work now.

Ok, look up where it says Home, under that you see your avatar right? Look at the litte bar underneath it where it says Home, Help, Search, Profile, My Messages, Members, and Log-Out. Click My Messages and it should be there :3

Im Lost, when I click Home it takes me to where they explain FH XD.

Oh, I went there. No Messages XD. If you have Mediafire quickly upload it on there and you can take it down when it's done.

I did upload it to mediafire, then sent you the message with the link...hmm i'll put the link on here real quick then take it off once you get it so nobody steals it. http://www.mediafire.com/view/?myfiles# (http://www.mediafire.com/view/?myfiles#) Just right click the picture and hit download then open it in GIMP and export it to wherever it needs to go.
