Ok so I was posting something and I somehow noticed that my floof-o-meter went up. And I have no clue who it was from. And I have searched everywhere I have posted and I see nothing about someone nuzzling me. Has this ever happened to you? You just randomely get nuzzled and it bugs the crap out of you not knowing who it was from? Let me know!

It happens to everyone. In fact, there is another post in the "Inbox" about an idea for being sent a private message whenever you get nuzzled and who it's from.

Haha happens to everyone. I take it as a compliment. I nuzzel people like that a lot.

Well that is a fabulous idea.  I hope it gets accepted.

And I am like that but I usually say if I am nuzzling... but the idea of the suspense is very intriguing.

I don't like that PM for every nuzzle idea :/ For people who help out a lot or get random nuzzles a lot, idk, it would bother me having to check my PMs just for a nuzzle. I don't mind that I don't know who's nuzzling me ^-^ I just think it's really nice of them to do so.

Well that is a good point Bloo. Especially for people who get nuzzled like 50 times a day.

The subject has been mentioned before. Agreed, if it was linked to PM's, imagine how many messages you'd have a day. It'd become kind of like Facebook and their notification function..
If it was to be added, something which is unlikely, I'd suggest at least adding a box where you can de-activate it.

How bout if it was added, how about having its own folder? That way it wouldn't be in the main folder. But then since your running on the SMF then I don't think it'll be able to added, due to there not being a specific coding script in here to send a automatic message (PM), but by email? maybe posssible.

...ok that confused me..a lot. It'd probably be a lot of coding and Razmirz wouldn't want to do it. You'd still be getting blasted with PMs even if they had their own folder.

I'm aware about the the coding & how it would be hard to code. What I mentioned was saying that I don't know if the forum has the possible coding for this. Since the forum is powered by SMF, I don't know if SMF has a specific script with this coding or not. By "folders", I meant that it should be more like how our email works & how it can organize emails.

And, the point of getting a nuzzle message in your inbox would be kind of pointless, but some members may enjoy having it. A good way for everyone to be happy is by making it so you can disable it and enable it. I wouldn't mind it, because I get a few but most of the time I also know who it was. But then again I don't get PMs much... *Forever Alone*
An idea that could happen, maybe have it so it is sent by email? Not entirely sure if this is what Bloo meant, but.

Well....... what if.............. ok this seems kinda derpy but it was the first thing to come to mind, but what if there was a nuzzle section of the forums and when someone nuzzles you they post in your thread that they nuzzled you? It seems kind of useless but might help for people who want to know.

Nope. I never get random nuzzles. I wouldn't mind getting them either ^w^

Oh no, I already disagree with getting PMed everytime you get a nuzzle.

I actually enjoy the suspense of not knowing who has nuzzled me. (even if it kills me)

I take it as a light-hearted, but thoughtful gesture- a little, encouraging nudge in the right direction.

I'd rather not get PMed when you get nuzzled. I think when you're minding your own way through the forums, and you notice that you've been nuzzled, it's just kind of like, "Oh." My day just got a little brighter, you know?

I love the suspense of wondering who nuzzled me, it makes me smile whenever I see it!. I think I would rather the thought of having a secret admirer than to know who did it

Not sure if you've gotten your answer by now but:

Floofs are basically karma points given to users by other users via the "nuzzle" option on site. Users "nuzzle" others as a way of thanking them for their kindness, helpfulness, or contributions in the community. The Floof O Meter is thus just a karma meter. Users gain the ability to "nuzzle" or floof others once they've become a Jr. Member or made a total of 25 posts.

As for this topic in general yeah I have gotten mystery floofs from time to time and they always give me a warm happy fuzzy feeling. I'm grateful that anyone takes the time to show some thanks or appreciation to me enough to give a floof. I'm very happy with my floof collection because it makes me feel like I am doing the right thing to earn user's respect. It's quite a small but humbling gesture <3 I would never want to know who gave them. I like the mystery.

Well. Since I returned to FH, mine has gone up quite a bit and I have no idea where from.
I do like not knowing, at the same time as I'm really curious who and why they nuzzle me. ._.
