That pic above is so cool :O And it looks like deers in the background are like fighting or something?Killing people can be tough, and unfortunately as predators it becomes pretty much a necessity (unless you go around scavenging, which is also tough since people tend to defend their kills). Generally as a predator, I find myself starving to death most often since I don't actually want to kill anyone, rofl - I personally think that there should be npc animals or something along those lines so players don't have to kill each-other for food, or at least safe-zones where hunger/combat isn't an issue and players can just sit and chat - the amount of people that randomly kill for no reason can be pretty frustrating. And to your prior question! they aren't actually fighting - they're just hopping around being playful. xP No one actually killed each-other in that game.
I already knew about this game lol
Now whenever I feel like there is a predator around me I stick close to the totem pole so they can change if they get near. Nobody notices me anyway lol But its plenty annoyting when someone kills you >.< I cant even kill anyone. Its hard! D: Buts thats just Lif (life lol) XD
Mew, usually when I go to play on Lif for a little while, I can only handle a few rounds. xD There's always that one kid named "Killer" or "Gore" who runs around on his wolf character and slaughters everyone and everything, including fellow wolves and their pups.Yeah! :3 foxes also have a nice pro in that, believe it or not, they actually have their own burrows; so it's basically the advantages of being a wolf combined with the security of being a rabbit.
Granted, stuff happens in the wild, and it's not necessarily a 'fair' game, but it's a little rough at times. I'm just like, "Bro, fo' reals? >.>"
However, I have found that playing your cards right as a certain species has its advantages.
-For rabbits, you're the only ones who can take advantage of the burrows. That said, you can hide from predators (assuming there are no killer rabbits), and if they decide to not leave the entrance of the burrow, you can still kill them. You've just gotta find that sweet spot near that entrance that the predator can't bite into, but you can actually still kick them, and eventually kill them without getting a scratch on you.
It's pretty nice. xD
- For wolves, it's best to join a pack, frankly. You can hunt for one another, and it's nice defense.
- And deer, numbers are the name of the game. xD Make bros, eat food, look out for one another's backs. Simple as that. xD Much of the same goes for the other species, as well.
this game sounds like fun but i dont know how to use the controls AT ALL.and nothing else helps me find out.Use the W,A,S,D keys to move around, press CTRL to perform an action such as eating or drinking, and press L to toggle between hostile and friendly. On the lower right, there's a little icon that shows you whether you're hostile or friendly - if you're friendly, it'll be a green icon with a paw, and if you're hostile, it'll be a red icon with three claw marks. While in friendly-mode, hitting CTRL while near other people will make you nuzzle them - but if you hit CTRL in hostile-mode, you'll attack them. It's pretty simple. :3
oohhhhh that makes mush more sense. Thanks!Hey, no problem. ^^
Now if you don't mind me i'm going to play...the right way
@Sir_Anathema-- For real? o-o Seems I have some searching around to do... Thanks for the tip! ^.^Aye, for real :D I'm not sure where the den is in Heath, but in Forest, it's at the base of the hill with the bear totem - though I can't exactly remember which side of the hill, rofl ::(
I agree with Lion/WolfQueen, though, since burrow-hoggers do get annoying. xD However, I will say that at least the game does cover the realistic side of inter-species competition.
Me: Dude, you have a wife who is yelling at you in the chat XDThis^
Me: Dude, you have a wife who is yelling at you in the chat XDThis^
This made me giggle. xD That's a good point, though. Problem is, I'm usually a little wary to use the chats much, considering you're usually a few seconds away from being attacked by somebody.
Still, that's pretty funny. XD
How do I download it on the website?Google Lif, and on the game site it should load for you. If not, then it probably means that there's a program your computer needs before it can play the game. I believe it gives you a link on the page to the download you need, so following that and installing that program (it's very similar to Adobe Flash Player) should let you play just by loading the page from then on.
