I have a question. When you download different maps, does it affect your other maps? Meaning when you put all the stuff in...
FHM files go into FH>Media>Terrains
FHO files go into FH>Media>Objects
FHS/FHW go into FH>Media>Sky
Music files/ mp3 go into FH>Media>Sounds/Music (sorry if this confusing)
-
It won't affect other maps. The files are together, as maps have their own folder, if you made them in map maker. But if the object is has a different look, but same name, it'd probably overwrite. as long as you don't OVERWRITE any maps, you're fine.

Unless files are not overwritten in the process, or particle doubles aren't added (which doesn't happen often) this shouldn't affect your other maps. You'll tell when a file needs to be overwritten when you see a prompt asking you to replace the file. This is just fine in textures, markings, etc. though. It's usually objects you need to keep an eye on.
And also, .fhs, .fhw, .fho and such files belong in exports. Music files go in sounds.

Cool thanks, and Wrong :3

That all the types of fhm. and etc.. Goes in the certain types folders, not in exports

Actually, they do go in exports, but they can be placed individually in folders too. Exports is just easier.

I don't think it would really break any maps.
But idk, I have had maps that I had to replace over items that had the same name..but I'm not sure if they really break maps if you put more and more in there
