According to an old legend, when the end of the world comes, Paradise will appear on Earth. However, wolves are the only ones who know how to open it. Although wolves are believed to have been hunted to extinction two hundred years ago, they still exist, surviving amongst the humans by taking human form.
In this story, it has been five hundred years since the world was reborn thanks to the wolves Kiba, Tsume, Hige, Toboe and Blue. They were the ones who protected the flower maiden Cheza until she released her seeds and new lunar flowers sprouted as the world froze over. The earth was reborn and Paradise appeared, but it was tainted by the noble Darcia's darkness.
Now, history has repeated itself and the world is dying again. It is up to a new generation of wolves to find the flower maiden and re-open Paradise.
Rules:
-You do not have to watch Wolf's Rain to join, but knowing about it is much preferred. If you haven't watched the anime, I highly recommend it. You can watch all of the episodes in good quality on YouTube if you want. If you don't want to watch it and still want to RP here, at least read about it on Wikipedia or something, please.
-Feel free to create drama.
-If your wolf dies from something, and you want to stay in this roleplay, feel free to make another character.
-Cussing is allowed, but no F-bombs or G-damn's, please.
-Romance/relationships and especially fighting are allowed, but keep in mind that this is a PG-13 RP. Do not get in on the sex/mating, birthing, gore details.
-No god-modding, power-playing, Mary/Gary suing, etc etc.
-Your wolf doesn't have to look 100% realistic - just stick to natural fur colors and semi-realistic markings. I would prefer if they did not have earrings, but necklaces/collars/bracelets are okay if they have an explanation.
-Wolves aren't the only kind of character you can apply for; you can be a human, one of the nobles, or the flower maiden (who doesn't have to be Cheza, since this is a new generation - you can give her a new name if you'd like. same goes for the nobles and other humans)
-You cannot apply to be any of the canon characters. That means no Kiba, Tsume, Cher Degre, Quent Yaiden, etc. apps.
-Feel free to offer any plot ideas you may have.
-There's no limit to character amount, as long as I see you can handle all of them. Please do not join if you know you will be inactive a lot.
-When you talk in OOC (out of character) please put it in brackets or parentheses to keep it a little neater.
-Please have good literacy. Also, be creative with your characters! No copy-cats; I wanna see some variety.
-If you can't find good pictures for your characters, you could just write out descriptions of their wolf and human forms instead.
-Only one wolf character per person.
-Have fun!

Shy feels really bad for abandoning it, but something came up in her life. I wish I could have brought both of her characters back with me, but she said Saya was her 'sona and understandably, she didn't want anyone else RPing her. So I brought Jenica (Yay >8D). Sorry to everyone who's characters were interacting with Saya.
*I would like to clear something up in case anyone is confused. This seemed like a common misunderstanding in the old thread:
The human forms of the wolves are not actually human forms, meaning they don't change from one body to the other. They are illusions used by the wolves - only other wolves can see through them to their true forms. While using the illusion, wolves still leave behind paw prints, shed fur, and wolf shadows. In the anime, most of the wolves didn't even like to use their illusions, as the wolves who were not ever acquainted with a human disliked them, used them, or were indifferent toward them. Kiba was too full of wolf pride in the beginning to ever use his illusion.
*I promise to keep the RP alive and full of action! If I go inactive again, I give permission to whoever is willing to take control of my characters to do so so that I don't hold back the story.

Name: Accalia
Gender: Female
Age: 4 1/2 an 18 in her human form.
Personality: Accalia is a very shy fae who tends to stray away from others and humans, she rarely goes into her human form unless she has to. she can also be very protective and kind to those she cares for but to others she can be a very cold hearted wolf.
History: Accalica was the only pup who survived from a litter of 6 all her siblings parished in a blizzard along with her mother, her father was the only one left to care for her which is why she is can be very tough at times. Being raised by her father wasn't the easiest since he treated her like a full grown wolf even though she was much smaller then him at the time. But all those hard years paid off when the wolves started disappearing and humans became more abundant, as her father aged he was not able to defend himself from the violent people who came to their home. The day her father died she had defended their den from some hunters but her father was struck by a bullet which ended his life almost immediately. Ever since then she stays alone and hides out in the snowy landscape.

Name: Akarui
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown. She was created, not born.
Personality: Akarui is curious, naive, and child-like in behaviour. Despite her whispery, soft voice, she is unafraid to speak her mind or think out loud, even if it something insulting. She is usually calm, even in the most heated situations, but if a wolf around her is in trouble she will become scared or worried. Because of that, if a wolf around her feels pain, she feels pain. If they are sad, she is sad as well. When the wolves fight, she will try to help in anyway she can, and isn't inclined to just stand back and be protected. She is quite vulnerable and frail though, and dislikes being alone for too long. She will often question human emotions, as most of them are alien to her. She refers to everyone, even herself, in third person.
History: Created artificially from a Lunar Flower by the lost art of alchemy, Akarui is the Flower Maiden of this generation. She was created after a certain unknown noble (perhaps mother of Jen's husband?) wanted to lure in the supposedly extinct wolves. Though they were successfully in recreating a Flower Maiden, she cannot be awakened until the wolves return. She is currently in stasis in a research lab.
Sorry it's so short O_O You can only do so much with a Flower Maiden.

Name: Kira
Gender: Male
Age: Around 3 years, (18 in human years)
Personality: Kira is a very prideful wolf. He has acted bold, daring, fearless and merciless when needed to in the past. Although now, he acts as an obedient and solemn hound to a master that raised him for the past few years. His attitude towards others has become very cold and serious, looking down on anyone he sees weaker.
History: Kira grew up the runt of the liter. As he grew up, his parents noticed that he wasn't as strong as the other cubs, especially due to his shorter broken right hind leg. Often, his eldest siblings would push him around easily. His father, Steel, made the decision that he should put the pup out of its misery and abandoned him near the city limits. Struggling to survive on his own, Kira shortly lived the life of a junkyard dog. One night, he was approached by a mysterious figure that proposed a deal to him. The young man, knowing he was a wolf, offered to take care of Kira in exchange for something later on that was never mentioned. Kira accepted and is now living with the man in an old manor outside of town.
Other: His right back leg is still very weak, but is in a much better condition. In both forms, he wears a collar with a blade like symbol on it from his master.

At the moment, any type is fine, since we need to increase the numbers of all of them (except Lunar Flower), but, I know we'll most likely get more wolves soon and that we're less likely to get any humans, so if you would like to create a noble or another kind of human I will give you a cookie for doing so xD.
You do not have to if wolves are more your forte, so please don't feel pressured. ^^
Also, everyone, new rule:
Only one wolf character per person! I've decided that since I will need to limit the amount of wolves, no one should have 2+ wolves, that way more people can RP here with their wolves. C:

And yes, I noticed in the old thread ^^' No one ever applied a noble and I think Jen was the only human. Could be wrong, but I don't feel like digging it up again to make sure xD.

Name: Fuyume (Nickname: Yume (you-meh))
Gender: Female
Age: 5 (20 in human years)
Personality: Yume is a rather kind, but assertive wolf, with a short temper. She is known to have harsh acts of violence to people who annoy, anger, or tease her. She will speak her mind from the most difficult situations to the most awkward, although she usually stays away from others, preferring not to start fights. She has more of a stubborn nature when it comes to being told what to do, though she usually has respect for those higher in ranking than herself, except for when something is bothering her. She does have rather a hard shell, but she is very soft at heart. She will never choose side in any type of fight or debate, but instead remain indifferent to the entire thing. Though she is slightly aggressive, she can be caring, and often times hot-headed.
History: Yume was born into labor. Pulling cargo, weapons, anything, to the boss' desire. She was always in chains since she was a pup. Beaten,whipped, abused. Until her parents risked their lives to free her, fighting off the humans as she escaped, them dying while she was freed. Before they went with their plan, her mother had given her a dream catcher necklace, one that she had over her head to protect her from nightmares as she slept. She now wears it in human and wolf form. She always has that pain of guilt, always blaming her parents death on herself.

Age: 22
Personality: Haru is a great hunter and has a lot of stamina. He's stubborn, and often rude to others, unlike others, Haru likes to fight, he usually trys to pick fights with others. Although, he is also respectful to those older than him. Sometimes he has dark moments where he wants to be alone, his tone of voice will become bleak and emotionless, often snapping at others, or just beating people senseless for no reason.
History: When Haru was a boy, his father often took him out hunting, wolf hunting that is. One day while out hunting, him and his father ran into a small group of wolves. The two fought the wolves off until his father got badly injured. He was lying on the ground, wolves ripping at him, Haru fought to get to him but was too late. Till this day, Haru hated wolves, wanting revenge on them for killing his father.

Female
19 in human form, 3 years in wolf form
Saki is a very shy wolf though she can often attack on first sight to defend herself. She does not do this often though. Saki is actually pretty friendly once you get to know her and has a passion for hunting as she loves the thrill of chasing her prey. In her human form, she is slightly flirtatious to nobles. Saki is often immature for a person in her human form and pulls pranks at times. During hardships, she often tries to lighten the mood. Deep inside of her, she is hurting and pained with her memories as a young wolf.
When Saki was born, she was born to a mother wolf named Mordred. When she was about a yearling, her mother was killed by nobles by setting the pack's den she was born in on fire. The entire pack was killed...
Except her.
Though it was long ago, she still remembers the memory.

Personality: Taossul's temperament is calm, cool, collected, matter-of-fact, and steadfast. He thinks things over carefully before accepting them as fact, but is sometimes reckless and bold. Occasionally he tends to be short of patience with wolves that whine or can't keep their mouths shut when they're wounded. Intelligent, smart, reliable, brave, loyal, and protective, he's always ready to protect someone, whether he knows them or not. Becoming friends is a fast process, but becoming good friends is a slower, more cautious road to travel. Although he is kind and funny, he is still a warrior that will stand up for himself against anyone. When skeptical, he has a tendency to ask all sorts of questions. Death is an option favorable in any fight, but he generally keeps cool under fire. Impatience and recklessness are two of his faults, and he sometimes has a hard time respecting those who have a single idea on their mind.
History: Taossul was born in a quiet town, where people didn't know his family were wolves for the first seventeen years of his life. However, when a noble fled to the area seeking refuge, he somehow recognized them for what they were, and revealed them to the villagers. At first, due to their close connections with many people, they were simple driven from their home with nothing. Eventually, though, the noble angered the villagers enough that they ambushed Taossul's family at night, killing all of them except for Taossul and his younger brother. When he died several years later, Taossul made it his mission to track down the noble that had destroyed his family. He did manage to eventually kill the noble, but has been chased by the noble's family's soldiers since then, ordered to bring him back alive.

Taossul wandered through the streets with no real destination in mind. The smell of flowers was faint sometimes, but it was always here. It was the only thing that kept him in this place; if it wasn't for that one thing, the scent of the flower, he would have been gone long ago. Nothing else in this city held anything for a wolf. Besides, everyone was starving out on the streets. Even though he could hunt whatever small creatures scurried into the darkest corners of the city, he was still hungry sometimes. Living on his own wasn't easy. For a moment his thoughts strayed to his family, and how excited his father would have been to be here. At least one of them had truly believed in the stories of Paradise. Until his first sniff of the flower scent, Taossul hadn't been so sure that it could exist. Wiping away a small tear from his eye, Taossul looked for anything to get his mind off of what he'd lost. A statue of a noble cast its shadow over him, and he glared at it with hatred. Humans were everywhere around here, and they'd all been trying to kill him since his family was exposed. He needed to get out of here! A faint wisp of scent, of the flower, calmed him, and he stood in the alley breathing it in deeply.

Fuyume
Claws clicked against the pavement as Yume walked down the sidewalk. Humans trudge passed her, glaring at the sight of a stray 'dog', just another mouth to feed. She could tell the humans where cold, wearing jackets that they coward in. The she-wolf smiled, continuing on down the street. A small huff escapes her jaws, a small white cloud forming because of the cold air.
It was silent for a while, until her stomach growled, making her groan. She hadn't been able to find food in days, but she would never resort to begging to humans, so instead she steals food. As she was walking she caught the scent of hot dogs, foul food, but good enough for her to eat without vomiting. She came closer to the vendor, links where dangling slightly off the edge. Her massive paws started moving faster until she was sprinting. Yume quickly grabbed the dangling links and ran for it, the vendor yelling for the 'dog' to come back with his food. A rock whistled pass her ear, making her turn down an alley way, she looked back and smirked. Looking back forward until it was to late. The wolf plowed into the guy standing in the alley way. Taossul had expected a lot of things to happen while he was in this city, but getting run over by a wolf definitely hadn't been one of them. Usually he wasn't getting run over by anything. Caught by surprise, he was knocked over by the force of the wolf's movement. "What the heck?" he demanded, rather angrily, as he stood and turned around. "A wolf? No way! In a little bit of a hurry, huh?" How had he just gotten run over in an alley in a human city by a wolf? "Who are you?" he asked, curious. He hadn't seen another wolf in a long time.

Hey Crystal, I hate to bug you with this, but Nobles actually live in prominent keeps and are not poor at all. :) I don't think a noble family would live the way your post described. I don't mind if you leave your post the way it is, I'm just telling you this for future reference ^^ sorry ))

The soles of her black hiking boots made soft thudding sounds as they impacted with the dirty cement, bearing their wearer toward an old bench on the sidewalk. The red-haired woman slid her hand into her pants pocket to grab a box of cigarettes as she approached the seat, placing the bottom tip of it between her pale pink lips as she sat down with a heavy sigh. In her jacket's pocket was her lighter, which she also retrieved, holding it up to her coffin nail and cupping her other hand around it as she turned the spark wheel. Soon it ignited her smoke and she took a draft, gazing around the cold city with a tired, unimpressed expression. It was about midday, but the sky was overcast beyond the dome; the sun was completely hidden though it still shared its light.
Her arms raised to rest on top of the back rest of the bench in a laid-back fashion. This was how every day was for Jen. Overcast, dull, and static. She was numb inside; nothing impressed her, surprised her, brought her happiness. All she wanted was revenge. Maybe she had become just as crazy as the old noble she worked for.
A few citizens walked by, tending to their daily businesses. None of them paid the red-head on the bench any mind, and she paid them no mind. Soon a scrawny, hungry-looking stray cat sauntered up to the bench, its dark-gray fur sparse and missing in some places. It cried a raspy mewl, gazing intently up at Jen with large, peridot eyes as it stood there with its tail raised, as if expecting her to throw some food down for it. Jen looked down at the poor creature, her pokerface never changing.
"Hey, puss."
It mewed again.
Jen glanced at a dog walking down the sidewalk of the opposite side of the street, thinking that her peripheral had caught sight of a wolf. But it was only a rat terrier. She relaxed again, letting her head lay back on the wall of the building with another sigh.
"I'd say we're about in the same shape, cat. Both of us are starving."
Though Jen didn't mean she wanted food.
She had finished her cigarette by now; she tossed it to the ground and stomped it out. Having only a black tank top under her jacket left her slightly chilled by the wind that gusted down the road with a passing car. The bench was placed near the door of a bar, which she wanted to go into for a drink. The woman rubbed a hand down her face, staring straight ahead for another moment. Then she stood and made her way to the door of the bar. The cat tried to follow her, but the door shut before its face, and it decided to hunt elsewhere.
It was much warmer inside the bar. At that moment, she was the only customer. A tall brunette man stood behind the counter, words tattooed onto his right arm in a foreign language that she could not decipher. He was wiping a glass with a rag, and acknowledged her with a smile and a slight nod. "What can I get for you, madam?"
"Anything to warm me up."
Jen sat down on a stool, folding her arms on top of the counter as she waited. Soon a shot of scotch appeared in front of her. She lifted her arm to pick it up, but noticed that her jacket moved with her arm and exposed a little of her silent pistol, the PSV - a gun designed by a group of gun makers under Lady Izora herself. The gun was not a gun released for the public and was exclusive to those in the same position under Izora as was Jenica. She quickly adjusted her jacket and zipped it before drinking. Once Jen had finished, she placed a few coins on the counter and got up, exiting the bar and stepping back into the windy city streets. Sirens were audible in the distance, perhaps a few blocks away, but she was uninterested in that. She turned to walk further up the street, secretly hunting, which she didn't have to do for long. Up ahead of her, catching many strange looks from the humans it was passing, was a black creature. Jenica's obsidian eyes widened.
It couldn't be...
Why would one walk around in broad daylight without...
She didn't have to put on the "sunglasses" that hung from the neck of her shirt. She knew it was what she was looking for.
The red-haired woman continued walking toward it, eventually passing the black canine while giving it the same awestruck expression that everyone else gave it. She would turn around and follow it later... She didn't want it to think she was stalking it.

What could be taking them so long?
There is a tall, conspicious building that sticks out like a sore thumb amongst the worn, poverty stricken structures that reside in Freeze City. So formidable it is that no one dares to venture inside, no matter how lax the security may be. One might suppose that a noble might live there, but the place is not luxurious nor does it call too much attention. You get used to it being there after a while, used to wondering what awaits inside but never trying to discover what.
Years upon years, Paradise has been waiting to be opened once again...
It is here the peculiar, tantalizing scent of Lunar Flowers is the strongest. It is here, at the very peak of this building, where the Flower Maiden waits and listens. Slumbering in a chamber filled with a glowing, transparent green substance is a girl with dark hair floating about her face. So alive, yet so dead at the same time. She is unresponsive, trapped in an endless dream.
However it is only a matter of time before this dream comes to an end.
A woman in a lab coat strolls into her chamber with a clipboard clutched to her chest. A lone figure in an empty, unsuspecting room. Her foot-steps echo around the room loudly, but the Maiden does not react. The woman sets her clipboard down on a table and swiftly puts her hair up in a messy bun, casting a dull glance in the Maiden's way before sitting at her desk. The chamber is dimly lit, the only sources of light being the glow cast from the liquid in the chamber and from the bright screen of the laptop the woman is working on.
Though things may seem the same as ever, the beginning of this journey is steadily approaching.

(( I made up a name - Lady Izora - for the noble acquainted with Jenica, who could be the one holding Akarui? Or there could be another noble (preferably a Lord and not another Lady) who holds her. Izora will be after Akarui if she isn't already in possesion of her, since she doesn't want Paradise to open. At the same time she will be trying to make wolves really extinct.
I kinda think the idea of Izora trying to get Akarui so Paradise can't open makes more sense and fits her story more, but Shy said that Izora is the most powerful nobles, and I would think that the most powerful is in possession of the flower maiden. I could always change that, though, so that a different noble is the most powerful? :3

The she-wolf stood up, "Names Fuyume, I prefer Yume though. Crap..." Yume said panting, turning her wolfish head and staring at the entrance to the alley, the pursuiter stopped in front of the entrance, glaring. Yume slowly backed up, picking up the links in her jaws, growling. "Is that your dog?" The man asked angrily, clutching a gun in his hand.

A tall black hair man stood leaning against the outside of the bar, scanning through the people. Everyone seemed normal. Out of no where a huge grey dog flew passed him with links in its jaws. "Wolves.." He muttered under his breath, starting to walk down the street in the direction of where the wolf was running.

Taossul shot a quick glare at Yume and turned to face the man. "Um, yeah, she is." He noticed, for the first time, that the wolf had her teeth clenched around a link of meat. Little thief, he thought. "I'm, uh, very sorry, sir. Were those yours?" he asked, indicating the food. "If so, I'd be glad to pay for them," he offered, reaching for a small handful of coins in his pocket. He hoped he had enough to keep them both from getting killed. The guy did seem very angry.

"Yes the were. And unless you have alot of coins its going to be difficult to pay me back. This is the 10th time it has stolen from me. I won't have it anymore." The man almost growled, beginning to load his gun. A sharp growl escaped her jaws, the she-wolf dropped the meat and stepped forward, snarling at the man, who now laughed. "Your dog seems to think it can beat a gun. Unless you have the money, it deserves to be put down."

(( Crap, didn't know we started, XP must be what i get for going to bed early and sleeping till 1. Sorry if i say something wrong, its been a while since i watched wolf's rain. And if your still looking for other roles other then a wolf, i would be happy to oblige I would just have to familiarize myself with the roles. :D))
Kira laid on the old porch beside his master as he read through a fairly current newspaper, not focused on anything else at the moment. The wolf's golden glance was locked on the fading shimmering lights of cars and neon lights ahead of him. It was obvious he was anxious, as his left hind paw thumped lightly against the hard wooden floor. His ears would twitch at any sound of the city he envisioned His master seemed to notice later on and stroked the base of Kira's head, to him he felt as cold and false. A light growl started to surface from his through, but it faded as he watched the man stand up before him.
" I supposed your hungry," His master spoke absent minded " I'm going inside early tonight. If you don't want to starve mutt, you'll come inside before i go to bed."
Kira rose up quickly from his lazy position and trailed the man in the house instantly. It wasn't the thought of food that made him so eager. Why would it be? All the guy did was basically slap some raw meat on the floor for him. It was more about how he could roam free without worry for a brief moment and get away from the dreadful fumes of death that lingered in his master's house. But most importantly, he could find what was drawing him closer and closer with each waking day.
The young wolf halted and sat down, tilting his head watching the man scramble around last minute for things as usual. He could feel all the beheaded wolf 'trophies' glare directly at him, feeling an uncomfortable chill rise up his spine. As he tried to imagine they weren't there, the man set down a measly plate of raw meat and walked quick paced to his room in the back. That's strange, Kira thought. He usually gives me a few more insults before hes satisfied in going to bed. Well, not my problem i suppose.
He picked up the plate of raw meat by the edge in his jaws and carried it as he strode forth towards the front door. Cleverly, he had made sure he left the door a smudge open so he wouldn't have to use the back exit, or the scenic route he called it. Without any hesitation, he threw the plate off the porch into the grass heaps surrounding the manor and leaped off the porch towards the lights he saw earlier. He charged faster into the city limits, determined to find what was calling to him finally on this night.

The man just laughed and raised his gun "Alright, try." He smirked, then fired the gun. Yume snarls and lunges towards the wall, dodging the bullet. Snarling, she lunged at the man, landing him flat on his back. He lifted the gun and smacked the side of her head making her yelp. She stood over him snarling "Get off!" The man yelled, firing the gun again, lodging into her side. Pain surged through her body starting at the bullets entry point. She snarled biting down on the mans hand, forcing him to drop the gun.

Taossul ran forward to help Yume, switching to wolf form. He snarled at the man, snapping at his arm. Nobody shot a wolf while he was around and got away with it. Finally seeing an opening, he bit down hard on the man's arm and held on.

As Kira kept running, he heard familiar echos which made his ears flick repeatedly. The growl he had stuck in his throat before surfaced as vivid images flashed through his mind. He began to sprint in the direction but started conflicting with himself. What if it's just another criminal versus police scene? I would have no purpose to go ahead. His eyes narrowed as he thought of another possibility. Maybe it has something to do with why i wanted to come out here so bad. But, do want to risk it?
The self argument went back and forth between the wolf's mind, but something settled the argument. He wafted the air as his eyes opened a bit wider. Faint traced of wolf blood. He had known the scent well. Without question, he darted forth trailing the scent until he skidded, stopping in the shadow of a building. As he peered ahead, he could see three main masses of shadows, two roughly the same, if not larger than his own. Kira was about to rush in, but stopped himself. His golden gaze narrowed and he sat in the shadows, only observing the scene.

She's here. The scent of lunar flowers is in this town. But where is she?
A silver wolfess leaned against the short wall of the roof of an old abandoned building, the legs and arms of her human illusion crossed as she gazed sullenly from one of the taller buildings in the distance to the next. On the far side of the neighboring building, the authorities were obviously dealing with someone; the sirens of their vehicles blaring into the air of the dome and carrying to her sensitive ears. Apparently the guy they were arresting had committed the crime of theft.
Kaze huffed in annoyance, wishing the sirens would cease. If only she could find the flower maiden - then she could leave this stinking city and never look back.
Soon a small chirping sound came from beside her. The she-wolf looked to her left to find a young peregrine falcon standing there looking at her with its round, black eyes. When it determined that the wolf would not harm it, it's attention switched to the hot dog that lay on the ground beside her, then back to her warm amber eyes. Kaze had almost forgotten the disgusting object that the humans dare call food was there; she had taken one bite out of it and decided she'd rather go hungry if nothing else was available.
She picked up the frank and tore a piece of the "meat" and bun off, then reached over and placed it on the ground for the falcon. He eyed it for a bit, head turning, then snapped it up and swallowed it. He seemed to like it, so she continued the action until the food was out of sight. After that, the bird flew away.
The silver wolf stood, standing atop the building and inhaling the air to see if anything interesting was happening nearby. She hoped that perhaps the updraft would bring a stronger scent of flowers, but with no such luck.
What she did smell, however, was wolf's blood coming from some distance away. This worried her, because a gunshot had been fired just a little earlier - not that that was a rare noise in the city, but now there was a possibility that it caused a wolf to bleed, or worse.
The she-wolf began making her way toward the source of the scent, running on the roofs of other buildings for a while until she was closer. Then she leaped into an alleyway and began to walk around, keeping her sharp ears alert for the sounds. Perhaps her scent would ride the wind to their noses; would they howl for help? Kaze hoped they had not revealed their wolf forms; if the humans noticed many more "large dog sightings", things could get very dangerous for them. But at times it was unavoidable.
Now the human's scent came to her nose. A man - he had been attacked as well. Not good. If the human managed to escape, his story of the large dog attack along with his claw or tooth wounds would circulate in the city. She could imagine it - the nobles placing nice bounties on the dangerous "dogs". Then everyone would be on their cases. They wouldn't be safe stealing food as the "stray dogs" any longer; they'd have to live on sewage rats until the flower maiden was found or taken elsewhere.
The sounds of the fight were audible now. If the human escaped, she would take care of him herself.

Pain ripped through the girl's small form, her limbs twitching sporadically and straining against the tubes that held her in place. Her eyes, deep pupiless green, sprung open with shock and fear written in them. The woman at her desk nearly fell from her chair in surprise, scrambling to press the red button that alerted the rest of the building to this. She stumbled over to the chamber and gawked at the flower maiden through the glass, having never seen something like this before. Akarui had never moved a muscle all her life, impassive and utterly silent, and now she was struggling against her bonds with the ferocity of, well, a wolf.
The room was soon filled with awed scientists as they rushed in to investigate, jabbering away at eachother in a not so festive way. The words that were flung from person to person held panic and anticipation. What was going to happen now? Were the wolves near? They had to be. All speculation was interrupted by none other than the flower maiden herself.
She let herself go limp, suspended with bubbles floating around her from her earlier struggles. One man in the room slammed his hand on another button, receiving some questionable glares from the other scientists there. The green water started draining out of Akarui's chamber, and once the level was below her head she gasped, violent coughs wracking her body. Blinking the water out of her eyes, for she very well could not wipe them off, she scanned the room with a blank gaze. Her shoulders trembled, fingers curling into fists as she began to writhe and squirm again.
She threw her head back and screamed, a sound so ear-shattering and agonizing that it could be heard from miles off. Not just a scream, no, a howl for help.

Accalia
Accalia darted through the think pines outside of Freeze City dodging rock and logs as she went still hearing the heavy footsteps crunching behind her. She knew she it was time to use her illusion to fool the human, so she quickly darted behind the trunk of a rather large tree and sat hoping they wouldn't take notice of her, "Hey you!" a slender man with a rasp voice called "Did you see a wolf?" she smirked "A wolf? Didn't those things go extinct years ago?" she laughed "Old man, you need to stay off the liquor." She placed her gloved hands behind her head and walked away while whistling a little tune. Hearing him grumbling behind her she chuckled, then she smelled it..Lunar flowers.. She stopped dead in her tracks her nose lifting into the cold air, she sniffed the air, yeah, that's it alright. Smells like it's coming from the city? She took in another deep whiff, It's not strong but it's definitely coming from Freeze. As she walked across the frozen land, her illusion giving off the image of a blue-haired girl wearing a light coat and some jeans, she wondered if the humans thought she were mad wearing only light clothing. She yawned as she entered the entrance to Freeze "It's been awhile since I'v seen other's like me." she crossed her arms "I wonder where they went." She knew she couldn't be the only wolf left. then she heard an agonizing scream that drummed in her sensitive ears, he illusion knelt to the ground, rubbing her head "What the-? A cry for help?" she stood up and noticed people were looking at her. an awkward smile came to her face "Hiya! Just looking at the snow." she scooped some up "Yup that's snow alright. See ya!" She darted forward hoping to find the source of the scream and the scent of Lunar flowers.

Yume let go of the mans hand, the scream ripping apart her senses. She remembered the man underneath her, she snarled, lowering her head down so she was just a hair length away from the mans face. Quickly she moved down to his throat, latching on. You could hear his struggle, the gurgling of his blood coming from his throat, until he stopped moving, breathing. Once she knew he was dead she moved off of him, the mans blood on her jowls. A pain shot through her body, remembering she had been shot. "Thanks.." She mumbled, sitting down, beginning to lick the wound.

Taossul went back to human form and pulled the gun from the dead man's hand, turning the safety on so it wouldn't fire and sticking the barrel between his jeans and his belt. Maybe it could be useful later. "Where are you hurt?" he asked Yume. He had heard her yelp, but he didn't know for sure that she had been shot, that was just a very probably suspicion. "I can take you somewhere to get your wound taken care of, maybe."

Kira raised his head his bit, watching as the man fell. His ears angled to listen to the conversation as he scoffed to himself, " Hmph. What are those idiots doing? Leaving a man's body in the open covered in fur, perfect way for our kind to be caught." A glint of anger lusted in his golden eyes as he shook his head.
As he stood back up to search around the city more, he froze in his tracks. The red tracking light from his collar shone brightly through the darkness. The collar began to beep loudly, echoing through the alley. The young wolf let out a low growl in frustration," Crap. I thought he said he was going to bed!" His golden gaze narrowed. Kira peered around to see if the wolves or anyone else had noticed and quickly tried to rip the collar off. He was stubborn to find what was alluring him, even if it meant going against his master.

Kaze had been walking in the back alleys when the scream was loosed; it was a good thing, too, because she had involuntarily, violently cringed when it pierced every one of her senses. She had covered her ears with her hands, giving a pained groan, sagging against the wall of the nearest building, and slumping to the ground until it was finished. Her eyes opened slowly, eyelids covering them as she squinted with a lingering ache in her head. What was that? Such a terrible sound... She shook her head. Somehow her instincts told her to follow it. It was loud enough that she could easily determine the direction of the source. What about the wolves that were nearby?
Kaze didn't hear any more struggle. Now she could tell that there was more than just the one wolf who was bleeding. Maybe they had already killed him. She continued going in their direction, not hoping that they would tag along with her to find the flower maiden or to find out what they thought of the scream. Just to confirm their safety with the quick disposal of the body. She wouldn't jeopardize herself by placing her trust in other wolves.
Murmuring voices were picked up by her strong sense of hearing. One of them was stronger than the others, it was closer to where she was.
"You ought to hide him in the basement of an abandoned building, or throw it in the nearest manhole when no humans are around," she suggested casually before she was even in their sight, her smooth voice carrying well in the cool air.
She continued down the alley, the boot heels of her illusion clicking against the pavement between the buildings, until she rounded the corner. There, near the entrance of the next alleyway, stood a male wolf, struggling against something shining and beeping around his neck. Knowing no humans were in this run-down area of the town, she dropped her illusion, her true image of a silver she-wolf exposed. She raised a brow at the russet wolf as the beeping continued, then she looked down the alley, observing the two wolves in the shadows near the human corpse.
Kaze then noticed that the second male wolf had a gun between his illusion's jeans and belt. She put two and two together, noticing the other female licking a wound. "Will you be alright?" She wanted to make sure all was well and taken care of before she heeded the scream. The longer she was idle about it, the more her instincts spurred her to move on. Hold on, flower maiden...

Yumi looked up, going into human form. "My side." She muttered standing up, her hand immediately covered the wound, blood flowed more heavily. "I'm used to it." She half smiled, "You never told me your name."

"My name is Taossul. Used to getting shot at, huh?" Taossul asked. "Nothing new for most of us." He saw Kaze and raised both eyebrows. "Look's like there's a pack of us. We'd better get rid of this idiot somehow," he suggested, nudging the man's body with the tip of his shoe.

"No.. well yeah. I'm just used to blood and pain is all." She shrugged. She nodded in agreement, she grabbed the man and threw him over her shoulder, wincing. Her head began to feel light, dropping the man on the ground, and leaning against the alley wall. "Can't we just leave him?" She mumbled.

"If someone finds him, they'll think that dogs killed him. Which means they'll probably start hunting dogs down," Taossul explained. "And nobody is going to be able to tell a dog from a wolf. So, if anyone sees us as wolves they might start shooting at us. Bounty hunters working for the nobles are bad enough, I don't need everyday citizens trying to kill me."

"Where do we put him then?" She spoke, seeming as if she was out of breath. Its not like I came here to steal and kill... She thought to herself I didn't want to kill him.. he had a gun.. "I'm sorry that I plowed you over by the way.. And I'm sorry about him." She said softly, kicking the man lightly with her boot.

After a few minutes, the beeping noise had faded from his collar until it was silent again. He let go of the leather collar and heaved a sigh. When he looked up, Kira noticed another wolf had appeared, also larger than him. His eyes narrowed. Was the scent of wolf's blood a catnip for other wolves? As his ears perked listening to the conversation, he couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed by the thought of others, especially others of his kin. Kira had been solo nearly his whole life, and he wasn't going to change for these strangers.
Kira had only came because he had been curious about the gun shots and knew he should move on. The wolf rose to his paws, standing shakily on his hind leg. He u-turned and inhaled the air for the familiar scent. The scent was faint but he believed he could trace it. "Later kids," Kira scoffed almost silently under his breath as he took off. This time, he was determined, he didn't need anyone else's help and he believed he didn't need theirs.

The silver wolf looked on as the wolves' conversation went on. Guess they didn't hear me.. Kaze mentally shrugged and returned her attention to the russet wolf near her, who had dropped his weird collar. Then he stood, shaking on one of his hind legs, and left with a nearly inaudible scoff that her sense of hearing still easily picked up. Her gray ears lay flat to her skull and she narrowed her own eyes at him as he walked away. Such friendly wolves in this city, she thought sarcastically. As if he could call us kids. He was only as large as I am.
Apparently the other two wolves were in fact going to take care of the human body, so she leaped swiftly to the nearest wall, flying from one side of one abandoned building to the next until reaching the roof of one, then sped away in the direction that the scream came from.

Kaze now stood atop a tall motel's roof, the sun slowly sinking toward the horizon. She was looking at an even taller building, odd in shape and daunting in size. It was a dirty grayish color against the orange sky. That's the building that it came from... The scent is stronger here. She must be in there. With the city's gangs acting up the way they had been recently, Kaze knew that whatever noble was over the place must have it locked down and full of security.
The wind breathed against her human illusion, blowing her dark hair from her face and ruffling her cropped jacket and shirt.
How do I get in?
(( I was thinking that some of the wolves could team up to figure out a way inside. :3
PS - Kaze is actually probably the same size as Kira - she was the runt too (which is why she's so swift) and plus she's female. She's been my fursona for a long time, and her history is different (originally, she was born in a large pack of big, bellicose wolves; she was the runt, so in spars with her siblings, she could often outmatch them despite their brute strength because she could outrun them and attack them with more agile moves.) I just changed it so it was more Wolf's Rain-ish. x3
She's underestimated and called weak; she may not be the wolf Hercules but she is stronger than she looks and can outrun almost anyone >:D ))

Kira wandered around, still following the aroma. His head was lifted towards the sky as he moved throughout the shadows, attempting to stay hidden from other's sight. The wolf felt chills when the scent began to become more vivid and fresh. His pace quickened in anticipation, eager to see what this scent actually was.
Almost silently, he cornered around a building into the midst of a dark alley nearby. His ears twitched a bit back and forth, hearing voices of people grow louder as he drew closer. The gold gaze of the wolf poked out of the darkness briefly to survey the area. A building automatically caught his attention, making Kira's eyes widen. Kira set one paw outside of the alley but pulled drew back seeing a few humans pass. His ears flicked laying back against his skull. Wearily, he scanned the area cautiously.
Would it be guarded? The thought suddenly came through his mind as he shook his head. No, it doesn't matter. I still have to get in there, no matter what. His eyes narrowed showing a bit of determination. The wolf leapt onto the lid of the nearby dumpster then lunged for the roof of a low building. He caught the edge by the skin of his teeth and clawed himself on the roof. As he looked down at the city below, his face cracked into a small, smug smirk before he continued to get nearer to the building.

The echo of the scream still tore through her head giving her a massive headache even though the scream ended minutes ago "Ugh.." Her illusion slumped against an older building as she rubbed her forehead. She knew the maiden had to be somewhere nearby, as she was thinking to herself she could smell wolf's blood. She turned her blue gaze in the direction of the smell, wanting to check it out but she knew the maiden would need her so she shrugged it off. She pushed her body off the wall and continued walking, her head still in terrible pain, the boots of her illusion clicked against the stone street "Ugh I hate being in this form. Us wolves shouldn't have to hide." She wanted to drop her illusion right then but at the risk of being spotted, or should she swallow her pride and keep it up. The decision spun around in her head "Maybe I should drop it..just for now..I always like the thrill of a chase." she smirked. Dropping her illusion she darted to the safety of the shadows and trotted down the street, her bracelets on her left wrist clacking together. Going under a streetlight she could hear the calls of nearby children "Oooo! Big dog!" She looked over at them then returned to the darkness. She knew the maiden was near, the scent was so strong it made Accalia shake in anticipation. Peering into the sky she jumped from building to building until she reached the roof "Much better.." She peered forward and saw a larger building, it looked much more put together than the smaller houses "That's it..It has to be." She sniffed the air "Yes, the smell is much stronger here. More wolves have to be coming, I could smell some of their blood, they are finally coming out.. To free the Flower Maiden.."

Kaze continued to study the massive building before leaping down from the roof to do a little more reconnaissance up close. She landed gracefully into another alley, then proceeded coolly to the streets. With the sun now close to setting, less and less people were out in public. A man walking a beagle was approaching, but the dog looked up at Kaze and suddenly cowered, whimpering and pulling back on the leash. The man was surprised and puzzled, asking his pet, "Whats gotten into you?" Kaze glanced at them as she passed by, but said nothing.
She just continued to stare at her destination. With a building that large, there had to be a basement. And usually the basement was where what the humans called "circuit breakers" were. If she could just turn the electricity of the building out, it may cause a large enough distraction for the humans for her to be able to get the flower maiden and escape. Then again, it could backfire. Unless I destroyed the breaker completely...? But what if that harmed the maiden somehow? It would probably leave claw or fang marks, or even some of my fur. I have to make sure my paws are clean. And how do I even get into the basement? She mentally groaned. So many "what if's" and "how's" to ask about the situation. I need a diversion just to get inside.. Unless I'm overestimating the security.
(( Poor Kaze. She's so worked up about the flower maiden that she's overthinking. If no one can find a way to reply to this, then consider this post a WIP. x3
I want to work on it more, but I don't have much time, and because I'm being rushed, I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with a way for them to get inside. I thought what I have is decent enough. My head feels like it's going to implode.

Accalia
As Accalia studied the large building she saw a silvery figure(Kaze) leap from a roof nearby from the corner of her eye, she quickly turned her head and saw a silver wolf land on the ground. "Finally, maybe she knows if the smell is coming from the building or if it's just me." She sighed as she used her illusion once more and jumped to the street below. Running down the street, her illusion's boots clicking away, she almost ran into a man and his Beagle. The Beagle yelped and tugged away "Again? What's wrong with you tonight?" Accalia ran past them and was coming up on the wolf "Hello?" she called as she came to a walk. Almost right behind her she asked "You smell it too?" she sniffed the air "It's really strong here." She rubbed her head "Has to be from the building." she said quietly. "You going inside?" she thought for a moment "Maybe I can create a diversion? Distract the men at the front door." she smirked "Shouldn't be too hard to distract a bunch of men.. I mean if you are going to go in and see if the flower maiden really is in there."

As the silver she-wolf continued to walk, she heard a quick-paced clicking of boot heels behind her. She thought maybe it was just a human hurrying to a shop before it closed, until she heard the man with the beagle again before a voice called to her.
"Hello?" Another female's voice; the clicking slowed to about the same pace as her own, their boots clicking almost in unison. Kaze turned slightly to look back at the other she-wolf, her illusion's brows lifted in expectation, but not unkindly. She smiled slightly before saying, "Hey," in return.
"You smell it too?" asked the second she-wolf, sniffing the air. "It's really strong here. Has to be from the building. You going inside?"
Kaze looked dutifully up at the daunting structure. "Yeah. I've been searching for her for as long as I can remember. There's no way I can ignore it," she replied, speaking in a hushed tone just to be safe. She knew the other wolf could hear her just fine even so.
"Maybe I can create a diversion? Distract the men at the front door," she smirked.
Kaze's ears would have perked had she been in wolf form; she slowed a step so that they could walk beside and actually make eye contact with each other. "You just read my mind." An amused smirk came to her face as well, but it died slowly as a new thought came to mind. It was always troubling for her to place her trust in others.
"Shouldn't be too hard to distract a bunch of men... I mean if you are going to go in and see if the flower maiden really is in there." Kaze knew she was right - they were only human men. A little more confidence came to her with that thought, and she decided to accept the wolf's offer. At this point, she didn't care how she gained entrance as long as she did so without endangering the rest of her kind in the city if they happened to fail. And there was little chance that her distraction would fail.
"I have no doubt in my mind. I heard a scream earlier, and ever since, my instincts have been driving me crazy to follow it." The "brunette" paused a moment, turning to face the other she-wolf. "If you create the diversion, I'll go in, find the circuit breakers to get rid of the lights of the building. This should confuse the humans enough that we can sneak through, find where the maiden is, and leave." Kaze glanced to the building ahead of them once more, confirming that that was the only way she could think of, then returned her attention to the other. The sun was almost gone now, and the sky was getting darker by the second. The city's streetlights came on, but they were standing in the shadows between them.
"Name's Kaze, by the way," she finished, smiling with an eager, determined gleam in her eye. "Do we have a plan?"

As he got closer, he paused, overhearing voices. His gaze narrowed as he peered over his shoulder to see two other wolves and a building towering above. Kira stopped for a moment before staring back over where the scent was trailing to. I hate to admit it, but going in with others might help, Kira thought. He was bothered by the thought of him pairing up with others since he prefered to be a lone wolf, but the mystery behind the scent bothered him more. A brief, subtle whine mixed with a sigh escaped his muzzle as he lowered his head.
His ragged ears pricked a bit, eavesdropping on the conversation. They can smell the scent? And could she really have been looking for the scent forever? He blinked a bit surprised hearing the statement. Does she know what this thing is then? Kira shook his head, wanting to ask, but he held his tongue lunging onto the building the two of his kin were on. He didn't move too close, but close enough that the two would know his presence, having his gaze averted from the wolves. Stuttering a bit, he muttered to the wolves, "If you two are going in there, i want in. I need to know what's in there..."
((Going to force Kira to be with the group for now. I bet he loves me for it. XD
Oh, and i came up with a description for the 3rd noble, apparently the only lord.
I think i'll have to rp him on and off though cause i know already i won't be able to think of something for every time i post. If i described something that doesn't fit feel free to tell me. Haven't watched wolf's rain in ages, but i might start again for the sake of this rp. :3))

Gender: Male
Age: 26
Personality: He comes across as calm, cold and usually has no regard for people below him. Along with this, he is mysterious, never telling anyone his real thoughts on things. Despite this, it is obvious that he wants the flower maiden. He is persistant in capturting her no matter the costs. The reason for this is currently unknown.
History: Sekiru grew up in a noble household with a sister a few years younger than him. His mother died giving birth to his younger sister. Nearly all of his life, Sekiru was very close to his father, adopting many of his ideals including many anti-wolf ones. After his father had passed from age, he took over. A little time after that, he became obsessed with fantasies he had heard as a kid about the maiden's ability to lead people to paradise and has plotted to capture her ever since.

Everything looks great ^^ I hope you do watch it again - the first time I watched it was when I was like... 11, and it was really confusing and weird to me so I stopped before I got close to finishing. I didn't appreciate or understand the meaning of it. But something made me wanna go back to it some years later. Guess it was my interest in wolves. <3 Now it's my all-time favorite show to watch ;D
By the way, Kaze and Accalia are on the sidewalk; they jumped down from their roof perches. :3

"Not that much," Taossul replied with a rather absent-minded smile. His heart was still pounding from the sound of the flower maiden's scream, and the faint scent was gradually growing just a tiny bit stronger. Maybe it was just his imagination, but she had to be somewhere in this city. And if she was, and if he could find her, help her escape, could he be part of a pack again? It had been years since he'd been with other wolves for more than a few days. In times like these, it was dangerous for wolves to band together, but if the maiden was real, and could truly lead them to Paradise, what wolf wouldn't want to join them? "Do you... smell something?" he asked softly, sniffing the air and half-turning. "A sweet smell, that makes you feel, well, different?" He didn't know how to explain what the flower scent made him feel. It was almost like he'd been dormant with his fake human illusion but had been brought to life, into his true wolf form. Nothing he'd ever felt could ever come close to this kind of feeling.

I think what I'll do is have Lady Izora intercept the wolves as they escape. There will be a fight over Akarui, of course, but do you guys think the wolves should get away with her, or should Izora take Akarui away somewhere with the wolves chasing after her? The first would lead to Izora chasing after them, then eventually the others nobles will be after the flower as well; the latter could lead to a scenario much like some of the episodes of the anime (I think ep. 6 or 7) that involves aircraft and maybe another noble. ))

"Yeah.. I can smell it.." She smiled, breathing in the sweet scent. "Its the reason I came here." The Flower Maiden was always someone she wanted to see, she would do anything to protect her and keep her safe. She felt like Taossul was trustworthy, cute too. "..What do you say we hide him and follow the scent?" Yume moved her hand from her wound gently checking to see if the bullet was in her, her petite fingers touched metal, making her growl slightly.
(I agree with the idea of them escaping. I don't really know what to do with my hunter right now xD)

Accalia smirked "My name is Accalia. And that sounds good." She took the small hair-ties out of her hair letting her blue hair free "Shouldn't be too hard to get them to look away." she laughed "Humans can sure be fools. I'll meet you inside." she trotted forward and waved at the three men standing at the main door "Hey! I need your help! Please!" An damsel in distress is just what the men were waiting for, they immediately ran over "What's wrong?" they said in unison. Hiding a grin she pulled of the old fashioned 'alligator tears' "There's something out in the trees. It chased me here!" She wiped her tears "Come I'll take you." The men looked at each other then nodded their head "Okay, how us where it happened." She looked back at Kaze and gave her an amused wink when the men looked away. Accalia walked at quick-pace "Let's hurry!" she began to run ad heard the men breathing heavy behind her, Pfft, can't keep up can ya? "Hey Lady! Wait up will ya?!" Accalia lt out a hushed laugh "Hurry! It might get away!" she sprinted forward an could hear the men pushing their bodies to keep up, Shouldn't be too hard to ditch them out in the woods. Heading into the dense pines she came to a quick walk "Okay were almost there." the men were all panting heavily, just like a bunch of dogs. She then came to a slow run taking them deeper into the woods "There!" She pointed into a dark cave "Okay we'll check it out. Stay here." As soon as the men entered the shadows Accalia sprinted off back to find Kaze. In the distance she could hear the men's confused mumbles, as she ran he couldn't help but laugh.

"If you two are going in there, I want in. I need to know what's in there..." muttered a male voice nearby where the two she-wolves stood, interrupting before Accalia could reply to Kaze. The silver wolf's illusion faced the new wolf, recognizing him as the one who had the collar earlier. Remembering his earlier "farewell" remark, she raised a brow, giving a smile that said, "So, you decided to come play with us kids, hm?"
"My name is Accalia. And that sounds good," said the second she-wolf as she let her blue hair down. Shouldn't be too hard to get them to look away," she said, laughing. "Humans can sure be fools. I'll meet you inside."
Kaze chuckled as she peeked around the wall, watching discreetly from the alley as Accalia trotted toward the entrance of the building. Then she returned her attention to the other runt. "I guess you can play hide and seek with us. My name is Kaze," she said nonchalantly (but not rudely), moving forward and looking out in time to see Accalia lead away the guards.
"Let's go."
The silver wolf ran out into the city streets, her illusion moving swiftly and quietly toward the steps that lead up to the enormous building, her wolf shadow visible flashing by under the light of the street lamps. She made it to the doors in no time, walking in casually as if she belonged there. The scent of lunar flowers was overwhelming inside the building, and luckily no human footsteps could be heard approaching.
The inside of the building was old-looking but still well maintained; mixed with the scent of flowers was that of many human passings and the chemicals used for cleaning. As she had presumed from the exterior, the building's interior had high ceilings and wide halls lined with many doors. They were looking for the basement, the lowest floor in the building, so they needed to find stairs. Behind Kaze's illusion, her gray ears lowered and her amber wolf eyes narrowed in concentration. Then she advanced forward, walking down the hall before them with slight urgency in her step. At the fork she turned left, keeping alert for what they searched for.
(( I'm not so sure what to do with my hunter either... But the wolves can escape with her for now :) ))

Smelling a sweet scent, the wolf walked towards it. Something about it was making her curious, and the scent was drawing her, as if the scent and her were both made of magnets. Running towards the scent, Saki stopped abruptly when she found herself in front of a building.

"I'd be fine if the bullet wasn't lodged in me." She muttered, looking down the ally, a giant box layed empty. Yume grabbed the dead man's arm, dragging him over to the box. She dropped his arm, bending down and grabbing him under his arms, pulling him up and into the box, wincing in pain from lifting heavy weight. She quickly closed the box, looking back over at Taossul.

Taossul was paying attention to the scent of the Flower Maiden more than anything else. He had gone back to his wolf form and was standing near the mouth of the alley, facing the direction that the scent was coming from. Above anything else, he needed to find that scent. He needed to find the Flower Maiden more than any other thing right now. But if you had asked him why, he wouldn't have been able to say. It was his instincts as a wolf, that was the only possible explanation.

Accalia entered the city once again and quietly ran through the alley's and streets passing humans and dogs and a few cats before finally reaching the large building. The smell of the lunar flowers was making Accalia calm and a little sleepy, she yawned and walked right though the front doors. Walking in she looked at the white walls and the many doors that lined down the hall "Whoa." she whispered. The smell of cleaning products made her nose cringe "Yuck." Smelling Kaze and another wolf(Kira) she began to walk a little faster to catch up"Hmm. Wonder who the new wolf is." Walking down the hall her nails clicked but with her illusion it sounded like it were her boots, with her hands in her pockets she continued down the hall sniffing the air until she could see Kaze and the wolf in the distance. "Hey!" she whispered as she quickened her pace "There ya are. And who is this?" she gestured to the other wolf. She began walking the same pace as Kaze and peeked through the passing doorways, seeing what looked like testing room made her shudder. "What's the plan?"

His gaze followed her as the black wolf that announced herself as Accalia leapt of towards the men. Automatically, he shifted over to look at the other wolf. "I guess you can play hide and seek with us. My name is Kaze," she said nonchalantly, moving forward and looking out in time to see Accalia lead away the guards. Kira took a brief moment to watch the guards leave then returned his stare back at Kaze, only now noting she was the seemingly only would not larger then him. For some reason, he felt for some reason this wolf could be trusted.
As Kira began to open his mouth, having dozed off in his thoughts a bit, he was cut off the she wolf's "Let's go." and hastily trailed after her as she ran out of the alley, through the streets to the entrance of the building. He slid through the door way and flinched. That was it... the scent... he thought to himself. He felt the urge just to sprint off to it but held his spot, turning around as he saw the other wolf that led the guards away.
"Hey!" she whispered as she quickened her pace "There ya are. And who is this?" she gestured at Kira. He stared at Accalia suspiciously for a moment but knew there was no time for any sort of trust test. "I'm Kira..." he mumbled quietly as he averted his gaze back to the hall ahead of him. He trailed a bit behind the two, keeping up with the quick pace as best he could.
They arrived at the end of the hall and peeked into what looked like a testing room. "What's the plan?" Accalia said in a whisper, shuddering a little. It took him time to think, but Kira raised his head a bit as he began to spoke. "If we go in there, we will have to distract whatever humans are in there. Someone should lure them out of the room then turn around, locking them out. It would save the effort and time of fighting them. The other two can find the source of the scent in the meantime."
He had know this tactic like the back of his paw. It was the strategy he used to do when trying to get some of the human food for himself. Kira studied the two briefly, trying to judge who should lure them out in his head. I doubt Accalia would want to do that again. And Kaze acts like she knows a lot more about this thing that's drawing us, it would be better if she stayed. That only leaves me i guess. The thoughts raced through his mind as he shook his head to clear his conscious This time, he knew what was at stake. He knew failure wasn't an option if he wanted to solve this mystery and the bright gleam in his eyes proved it.

I feel guilty for not posting for pages at a time, so... Here~))
When her throat ran raw, the maiden stopped screaming, letting her body go limp and hang from the metal straps that restrained her. For a long while she stayed that way, as motionless as she was years before her awakening. Her hair hid her face from view, still dry despite having been drenched in water for years until a few hours ago, and that was due to the fact that the special chemicals were a sort of "food" to her. The liquid absorbed into her very skin like a flower sucked water from soil.
The humans had calmed down a bit, now bustling around the testing room, looking lively for once. They didn't suspect a thing.
Akarui, however, did. Just like the wolves that were steadily approaching, following her scent, she could sense them as well. They were within the building, three to four of them. I cannot help you... Not right now... I'm sorry.
She felt the cold metal biting into her wrist loosen, making a loud hissing noise before releasing her from its grasp. Then her other wrist, then both of her ankles were free. Did one of the humans press a button again? Her deep green eyes blinked thoughtfully, staring heavily at the ground. Sleeping for years, possibly centuries, had taken its toll on her. The frantic struggle from earlier left her exhausted and dizzy, similar to when you wake up and try to move around too quickly. She could barely feel her limbs, much less feel what they came into contact with. I hope this weariness goes away soon.
When she slipped down onto the ground, her knees splashed into a few inches of water. Akarui slouched over and braced her hands against the floor, creating tiny ripples. Slowly, she raised her head and searched the testing room through the glass of her chamber. After taking a moment to muster up her strength, she lifted a shaky hand and pressed it against the glass, sighing. Will you find me?

The silver wolf lowered her brows as she looked through the windows of the testing room doors. She walked onward down the hall, not wanting to waste any time in the place. "There's nothing in there for us," she said seriously. "Hurry, we need to find a flight of stairs going down, so we can get to the basement."
Finally, she rounded another corner and walked into another hallway lined with doors on both sides. A human in a strange lab suit stood near one of the doors, fiddling with some buttons on a wall keypad; she didn't pay attention to Kaze, and eventually the woman in the suit walked through the door. The wolf, determined to break the flower maiden free alone if she had to, had her amber eyes locked on something at the end of the hall. Just what she was looking for.
She started down the flight, which went on for at least three flights from what she could see. She ran and leaped while there were no humans present.

"There's nothing in there for us, "Hurry, we need to find a flight of stairs going down, so we can get to the basement." Accalia nodded and watched as Kaze leapt down the flight of stairs "I'm going up." she whispered. She spun around and saw a janitor's closet and quickly ran inside, rummaging around she found a janitor's jumpsuit and name tag and a cleaning cart. She threw on the jumpsuit and grabbed the cleaning cart, her illusion now wearing a rugged suit almost made her laugh. She reached into one of the pockets and found a key card and grinned, she left the closet and saw a elevator farther down the hall and walked over to it. Arriving at the elevator doors she saw a dial pad with a card slot and quickly swiped the card through and was rewarded with a approving beep, she smiled as the doors opened and walked right in. "To the top floor." She pushed the button with the highest number(How many floors does this place got? lol) and watched the doors close. The elevator came to life and slowly went up to the top floor "I hope no one gets on.." she said, coming to a stop the elevator stopped at the wanted floor. As soon as the doors opened she walked out of the elevator and began her search for the maiden. "She is so close! The scent is so strong up here." As she was peering through windows she saw a larger door at the end of the hall "That's it!" she began to run, leaving the cart behind, she just couldn't hold herself back anymore. Hearing a step behind her she spun around and saw a man wielding a small pistol "Forgetting something ma'am?" he hissed while gesturing to the cleaning cart "Oh! Sorry I-I-I got an urgent call." she scratched her head I'm so caught. The man aimed the pistol at her "Put your hands up and walk towards me. Slowly." he said sternly "I'm afraid I can't do that." she growled. "Do as I say or I'll shoot!" he began to walk towards her "What do I look? A dog?" she smirked again and charged at him, dropping her illusion.
The man shot a whole clip at her and was only able to hit her in the shoulder, not fazing her she lunged at his throat and slammed him to the ground, she held on as he scratched at her eyes and clenched onto her neck until he finally went limp. She glanced around and ran to the elevator and sinking her claws into the elevators dial pad "That should hold them off for a while." she ran over to the body and dragged him into another janitors closet then cleaned up the blood with an old mop. She ran down the hall again her illusion's boots hitting the ground, she stopped when she realized she was bleeding pretty bad "Damn." She sighed but began to run down the hall again, the scent was so strong she didn't realize she dropped her illusion. Bursting through the large double doors she saw the maiden behind a chamber of glass, she didn't show any attention to the scared scientists staring at her or her blood leaving her body and hitting the floor in small drops. Her eyes were only staring at the beauty of the flower rmaiden "I found you.." she whispered.

((Real sorry! Meant to post this last night but i fell asleep at my computer... literally. And i wanted to join in with finding the maiden. Think it will pick up the pace of the rp a bit.))
Kira took a few seconds blinking to himself as he watched the two split up. He shook his head to snap out of his short daydreaming and traced Accalia's path to the elevator. The wolf leapt a bit, reaching for the elevator button and tapped it with the edge of his nose. He paced quickly inside and mimicked his actions from a few seconds ago to press the button to the floor just below the one the she wolf arrived at.
He strode forth, searching around cautiously but quick paced. The sound of voices were audible around the corner. Kira froze peering around the corner into the room with the voices spotting about three scientists lounging around on what seems on a break. The wolf scoffed going to walk but thought out loud to himself," If i wore some of that stuff, it might make it easier to keep going." A mischievous grin crossed his face as he stalked into the room almost silently.
With his ears flicked back and his head low, wearing an innocent and begging face, he walked up to the nearest scientist which was a brunette girl in her late thirties. "Aww, you guys look! A dog wandered into our lab."A man at the end scoffed with an uninterested attitude, but the younger blonde girl next to him sprang up from her seat to see the dog. As soon as she gets over her, Kira thought patiently.
He kept panting trying to act cute for the girls and the blond had paused right next to the other girl. As she reached out to pet me, Kira clung his fangs deep in her hand. The girl screamed as the other two sprang up to attempt to restrain the wolf as he dropped his act. A smug grin crossed his face as he darted and kicked the large shelf to his side, moving out of the way as it crashed down on the blonde girl.
The other female scientist gasped and rushed over to help her fallen friend. Kira saw this as an opening and charged at the girl, clamping his jaws tightly around her neck. He had no desire to kill her so he let go as she heaved breathing, soon blacking out. The young wolf held his head high, feeling accomplished, but frozen letting out a small whine of pain. As Kira glanced over, he blinked groaning in a howl seeing a bullet had been lodged into his weak leg.
The male scientist stared down at him, aiming a rusty looking pistol at his muzzle. I have to be careful. He murmured to himself in thought. One wrong step, i could be gone. Kira looked around rationally and darted left, letting his instincts take over. He zigzagged as the man attempt to land another shot but the wolf was to quick. Even with his injured leg, he leapt on the man, pinning him and hacked his jaws at his throat. The man let out a low yell, but it was muffled by the time Kira had dug into his windpipe.
He heaved a sigh of relief when the man became motionless. Kira had shifted into his illusion for once, removed his lab coat and carried the man into the closet. As he slipped the coat on, his leg began to ache but he didn't let that stop him. Staying in his illusion, he swept off as quickly as his legs would carry him up a flight of stairs.
Kira walked down the hall getting closer to the scent that was drawing him when he traced another. Blood? He thought curiously. As he kept getting near and nearer, something was bothering him about it. He arrived at double doors, opening them and froze. He blinked seeing the maiden restrained, having a moment of awe wondering why she interested him so much. As Kira surveyed the rest of the area, he saw why he had scented blood. "Accalia!"

(( Just to get Kaze involved again, she could switch the lights off and that would be a distraction for the scientists. While they look for light again, Kira and Accalia could grab Akarui and be outta there.

(( I'm sorry guys :C I really haven't had the time to make a RP post lately; I've just been keeping up on my phone for the most part. Plus I opened up a new thread and I've been busy over there (I'm so sorry ;_;) But now school is done for me :D I can be more active now!

"I'm going up," whispered Accalia. Kaze had caught her whisper, but was already out of sight and couldn't reply by physical means; it would be impractical to yell out that she had heard her and that she was fine with her decision. It was apparent that Kira had gone with her because there were no other foot steps behind her.
It didn't take the silver wolf long to reach the lowest floor. Once there, she opened the heavy door of the stairwell and stepped into an even mustier hall, more dingy and dimmer than the higher floors. The scent of cleaner was older and less fresh, too. A small cobweb flowed lazily at the joint of the gray wall and ceiling.
Ahead of her were more doors, black in color, and on the wall a few yards away there was another keypad, a red light blinking at her. The hard floor was cold to her pawpads though she appeared as her human form. Kaze walked forward cautiously, searching for a the nameplate that had the familiar characters that the humans used to communicate by that she had come to associate with circuit rooms, until she heard voices behind one of the doors. Her heart stopped a moment as a man stepped out - one of the guards. He was about to walk in the opposite direction, but had double glanced her way before doing so and had stopped in his tracks to eye her suspiciously. He noticed she had no identification badge on, and he didn't recognize her.
"Excuse me, ma'am. Do you have permission to be down here?"
A flash came to her amber eyes as she stared at him. What was she going to do? No excuse to answer him logically came to mind. She was already flustered about being so close to the flower maiden. Kaze couldn't smooth talk her way out of this one.
The man continued to gaze, but his stare was becoming a glare. "Well?"
Suddenly the wolf rushed forward, snatching a pocket knife from the inside of her boot, flipping the small blade out, and slicing at the man's hairy throat. He hadn't even the time to react; he fell to his death with a grunt and gurgle as his wound poured and spurted the red substance of life out of him. He squirmed in pain for a while but soon fell unconscious. Kaze gazed down at the mess with a slightly remorseful expression until she heard the second voice behind her.
It was another male guard. He gaped at the scene before him as Kaze looked back at him with a dangerous gleam in her eyes. He was frozen for a moment, but then stumbled over his own feet trying to reach the keypad before she caught him. Before his neck was sliced into, he had punched the side of his hand into the keypad, hitting all buttons at once. The rest had no effect as the red one was pressed, for in that instant a blaring siren burst throughout the building, drumming painfully into the silver wolf's ears. She grimaced, gritting her teeth at the sound; her true form uttered a pained growl and involuntarily lowered her ears. The wolf muttered a curse under her breath. Now their time was even more limited. Kaze sprinted foward, finding her initial destination at the very end of the long hall. Luckily she only had to slit the neck of one other guard before she reached it.
As the sirens continued to blast, Kaze burst into the breaker room, finding its walls to be lined with at least a dozen breakers. All of them looked the same - large, rounded machines, bluish-gray in color, attached to the walls via hefty bolts, all having long levers pointed toward the ceiling. She wasted no time gawking, hurrying forward to the first lever on the left and grabbing it in her hands to pull it down with all her might. It swung down mightily once she had pulled it past the midway mark, stopping with a loud thud against the end of its metal cavity. She paused a split second to think before she wrapped her fingers around the same lever and gave a strong pull. With a little more effort, the lever was torn free, leaving its cavity empty with wires sparking out at the wolf as she held it. Unfortunately, the force required would leave teeth dents in the metal, but she shook the thought away as the sirens blared and the flower scent drove her senses mad and the thought of the other wolves raced through her mind. Quickly she tossed it aside and moved on.
Kaze continued the process, throwing lever after heavy lever as quickly as she was capable. Above her, the electricity of each consecutive floor blacked out from the bottom up, leaving the workers of the building who were already thrown off by the blaring sirens in an even more intense state of confusion as they went temporarily blind. Finally, she reached the final lever and tore it free of its socket, sending the top floor into darkness as well.
The silver she-wolf raced out of the basement and back up the stairs, her heart racing and moving adrenaline through her veins. In no time she had reached the top floor, following the scent of the flower.
Blood was on this floor, wolf's blood. Kaze frowned, concerned, and followed it to the laboratory.
The doors burst open with such suddenness that their impact with the wall startled even the silver wolf who opened them. Her seemingly glowing amber eyes flicked from the bleeding Accalia, to Kira beside her, and finally to the flower maiden. The small girl had been confined inside a large glass container, which she rested on the bottom of in a shallow, greenish puddle of liquid. The room was dim, but light from somewhere near the maiden's container as well as the machines and keyboard tables before it glowed to give the room reddish light. Behind Kaze, the siren lights on the ceiling of the hallways flashed slowly on and off with the sound of the alarm. Guards would be there soon.

Accalia
Accalia was so concentrated on the maiden in front of her she no longer felt the pain in her left shoulder as she walked forward. Her left leg was leaving blood paw prints on the white tile floor as she slowly made her way to the glass container, in the back of her mind she could hear her name being called, Kira?, but she couldn't respond it was like the maiden had a spell on her. As she got closer the room suddenly got dark which made her concentration on the maiden break, "What?" she asked herself, she was deep in her own thoughts when she felt a heavy shoe hit her injured shoulder. She yelped and spun around and latched onto the attacker's lower leg and held on, she heard his pained scrams as he kicked her repeatedly on her head. She released his leg and jumped for his throat but was deflected by his fist, she shook her head and grabbed on his right arm. She pushed the man across the floor until she slammed his head into one of the machines, by now her wound was now losing blood more rapidly then before. Knocking the man unconscious she released him and spun around to look at the maiden, her container was still lite by an unknown source but Accalia thought nothing of it. She then realized that the sirens were blaring, she turned to Kira and Kaze then back to the maiden.
She ran up to the container and put her bloody paws on it "We will get you out of here." she assured her, she pushed herself away from the glass and surveyed the dimly lite panels, she knew they would have to be quick. Seeing a big bright green button encased in locked glass "I think this is it!" she yelled, she bit down on the case until it shattered in her mouth, she spit out the shards of glass and looked back at Kaze, she wasn't sure if she should do this but she knew she had to try. She slammed her paw on the button and heard a hissing sound come from the container, her blue eyes darted up and saw the shackles on the maiden's wrist release, "It worked." she said to herself, she heard another hissing sound as the front of the container opened and released the smell of lunar flowers into the air. She was stared at the maiden for a moment before returning to reality "Okay let's get her out of her!" she called as she jumped up and gently grabbed the maiden and carried her over to Kaze and Kira. "I can carry her, but it won't be easy getting back down. I'm sure they are sending guards up this way as we speak." she knew that there might be fighting involved, she would protect the maiden with her life if she had to. She winced slightly when the pain in her shoulder became stronger, she looked at the others "I'm fine, let's just get out of here." She ignored the pain in her shoulder and made her way down the dark hallway.
(sorry that seemed too easy but I just wanted the wolves to get the maiden and escape o3o)

((I'm gonna say the scientists evacuated. Now all you have to worry about is the guards. Perhaps the wolf hunters will hear the sirens and rush there to stop the wolves?
Akarui is a different flower maiden from Cheza in a few ways. Cheza is blind and sees with 'invisible antennas', Akarui can see fullcolor and in the dark. Not trying to make her better, it's just that its easier for me to rp her without forgetting she's blind xD Juuust wanted to clarify))
Time passed, minutes that seemed as long as hours. Akarui's pupiless green gaze searched through every inch of the room, seeking out a door or a window and staying there once she found one. Her eyes narrowed, as she had heard over the dull roar of scientists chattering, something that sounded akin to the rumble that vibrates from a wolf's throat. The maiden shuffled forward on her knees and pressed her ear to the cool glass, her breath misting up a small spot on the container. Then...
BANG BANG BANG BANG!
The staccato of booms would have intrigued her, but the last bang made her whole body convulse. Her vision blurred slightly and she made a sound similar to a whimper, but much shorter. Through the dizziness the pain gave her, she could see that a group of scientists made their way out of the room to investigate the noise. Screams soon followed their departure along with footsteps rapidly fading away. She could literally feel the presence of the wolf now, from the persistent stinging in her shoulder she could tell that this wolf had injured itself trying to get to her. The thought in and of itself made her feel just a bit guilty.
Another wave of pain shot through her (another wolf getting shot, perhaps?), but all she did this time was wince and stare tearfully at the door.
The wolf, stark black compared to the dull colors painting the background she stood against, burst in through the double doors, shoulder leaking a maroon substance. Her piercing blue eyes simply stared at the flower maiden, as if entranced. Akarui stared evenly back into her eyes, her own green eyes wide.
"I found you," She whispered.
"Accalia!" Called a male voice. Another russet brown wolf entered with a slight limp in his back right leg, probably from a bullet wound. He seemed to pause in awe as well but broke out of it quickly when the room was consumed in darkness. Akarui looked up in confusion, blinking so her eyes adjusted to the light. Being a flower maiden, seeing in the dark was one of her abilities.
From her place inside the container, she saw Accalia fight off one of the scientists that hadn't evacuated, then rush up to the container and brace her front paws on the glass. Akarui reached up and place her hands where the wolf's paw pads were.
"We will get you out of here." Accalia said reassuringly. The maiden breathed a faint sigh and nodded, eyes following the wolf's every move. Around this time, a silver wolf entered, a haze of reddish light illuminating amber eyes.
Suddenly the glass made a hissing noise, rising up into the ceiling, releasing the overpowering scent of lunar flowers. Accalia dashed over and scooped her up. If she was to put up her illusion again, it would appear as if Accalia was giving Akarui a piggy-back ride of some kind, but as a wolf, the flower maiden was simply riding on the wolf's back. The small girl wrapped her arms gently around Accalia's neck, her cheek grazing the fur there. Even if the maiden wasn't very heavy at all, it must be troublesome to carry someone with a wound on your shoulder. For a moment, Akarui tuned out what the dark-furred she-wolf was saying.
The girl with greenish-black hair hummed a soft tune that sounded like a lullaby, her fingers brushing over Accalia's bullet wound.

Kira stopped and looked up at the glass case ahead of him containing the maiden. His head tilted innocently to the side. This is what was drawing me here? Hmph... never thought a women would lure me like this... (XP) He shook his head and glanced around, just now realizing Kaze was at his side. "Great of you to finally join us. Have a nice time playing with the lights?" the wolf spoke teasingly as he grinned.
Kira turned his attention back on Accalia as she approached,"I can carry her, but it won't be easy getting back down. I'm sure they are sending guards up this way as we speak." He took a second to examine the blood splotches on her pelt. "I'm fine, let's just get out of here." She made her way down the dark hallway. Kira's face displayed some worry still but he shook his head. There right... If we don't get out of here, guards may catch us. I don't think we need the violence.
As he watched the she wolf take off into the hall, he tagged along after as fast as he could. His back leg ached as he ran and the sirens from the alarms above start to spurr up a headache in him. Kira attempted to throw away the pain for the moment because he knew it couldn't slow him down. Whether he liked it or not, he knew he threw himself into this whole mysterious maiden mess. Questions were bursting in his mind and he wanted to ask the others why he had this strange sensation, a connection the the maiden. The only way he knew he could find the answers is if the three escaped with the maiden.
((Sorry i didn't post sooner. I felt too sick last night to... I hate winter, i always get sick with something.))

Kaze gazed up at the flower maiden in wonder, lowering her ears as her amber eyes shined. The sweet scent coming from the opened container made her feel somewhat lightheaded and energized, but in a good way. Finally...! It's really her! We've found the flower maiden.
"Great of you to finally join us. Have a nice time playing with the lights?"
Kira's voice snapped her out of her trance. She frowned at him at first, then leered playfully. "Apparently somebody missed me."
Then Accalia spoke up, saying that she could carry the maiden. The silver wolf grimaced worriedly at the black wolf, the smell of her blood intermingling with the lunar flower scent. Before Kaze could argue that it would be better if she carried her to spare her some pressure on her wounds, Accalia left the room with the small maiden on her back, Kira trailing behind slowly. She worried for both of their wounds, and she feared that they were indeed going to come across more guards. The silver wolfess sped out of the room after the others, passing Kira and Accalia in the hall as she ran. The sirens were wreaking havoc on her sensitive ears.
Since the electricity had been shut down, they couldn't take the elevator, so she led them to the stairwell. It seemed that the scientists had evacuated, but surely the guards were on their way to check on what she guessed was the prized possession of the building.
Little did she know that the guards were the least of their worries. A noble had entered the building.

Accalia
Accalia heard Kira and Kaze next to her then saw Kaze go forward, she almost stopped when she felt a tingling sensation on her injured shoulder. As she watched she watched as the maiden hummed a lullaby like tune and rubbed Accalia's wound, she felt relaxed and relieved as the maiden rubber her shoulder. She looked forward again to see Kaze going to the stairwell, she yawned and looked back at her shoulder in time to see the maiden remove her hand and for the wound to be gone, just her stained fur "Wow..Thank you." she smiled at the maiden. "Did you see that?" she asked Kira, she never knew the maiden could do such interesting things. As she arrived at the stairwell she shifted the maiden on her back more comfortably before trotting down the stairs, "How man do you think there are?" she whispered the Kira. She caught a wiff of something strange "A noble?" she whispered to no one in particular, she let out a low growl as the smell entered her nose, "They know were here.." she growled quietly, not wanting to scare the maiden. she knew the noble's were merciless killers when it came to wolves, "What are we going to do?" she quietly asked her self in worry, she knew they had to get the maiden to safety even if it meant risking their on lives.

Akarui let a fleeting smile ghost over her face when Accalia thanked her. Really, I should be the one thanking all of you... The maiden tightened her grip on the wolf's neck while still not choking her. She glanced at the other wolves (whose name she didn't catch yet) as the silver one led the group to a descending stairwell. Through the rush of air in her ears as the wolves gained speed, she could hear soft growling from Accalia. Akarui lifted her head from back of the wolf's neck and peered ahead at the bottom of the stairwell. What was she growling at?
"A noble?" Accalia muttered. Akarui supressed a shudder, something about that word gave her an eerie feeling. From the way the dark-furred wolf was saying it, it couldn't be anything good. "They know were here."
The maiden buried her face in the soft neck fur and adjusted her position on Accalia's back, since she was starting to slip off a little. So we're in danger of some kind...? Despite the creeped out feeling she got before, she wasn't scared. Even if she was a fragile being and if she ever tried her hand at fighting, she would be as useless and awkward as a penguin with a limp, she wasn't worried. One noble couldn't possibly take on a trio of wolves.
Could they...?

He kept running and blinked a bit surprised when Kaze passed the rest of them towards the staircase. Kira started to run faster but slowed down scenting Accalia's scent fall further behind. As the wolf glance over his shoulder about to ask if the she wolf was ok, his eyes widen with his jaw dropped a bit. The maiden they had come to seek was rubbing Accalia's shoulder, miracolusly healing. "Did you see that?" she asked Kira as he paused in amazement. There's definitely something with this girl. Some girls can act like witches but I've never seen one do magic.
He shook his head still in disbelief still but froze after smelling the air. A growl echoed from the back of his throat when he recognized the kind of scent. " Why is one of there filth here?" he spat under his breath," Shouldn't they be in there castle playing princess?" Kira tried to piece together what was going on in his mind but the alarms made it difficult to concentrate. "They know were here.." Accalia growled quietly.
For a brief second, he felt his heart sink with anger boiling in him soon after. He might not know about the maiden as well as the others, but he was certain that this noble would want her. I'm sick of these people posing as the center of the universe, wanting everything that will give them more power... He glanced down at the floor, rage sparking in his eyes, curling his lips back into a snarl of frustration. Kira glared up through the darkness ahead and lept forth into a sprint towards the stairs, passing Kaze to the scent of the noble rashly.

The silver wolf could smell it too. The foul stench that could only belong to one of them. As much as she hated to admit it, they were in deep danger. A growl rumbled deep in her own throat involuntarily, her lips curling upward in disgust. Only one thought ran through her mind then: protect the maiden with my life. Wolves aren't afraid to die.
Her fur bristled at the thought. But while she and Accalia stood thinking, Kira suddenly sprang forward to pass her and continue to the stairwell. A surprised expression came to her face, then her tail raised up straight the way an alpha's would.
"Kira! We need to stay together. We don't know what this noble is capable of," she barked worriedly. Though I have a good idea of exactly what they can do...
Kaze looked back at Accalia and the maiden, noticing that the ebony wolf's wound had healed. The work of the maiden, no doubt - her family had told stories of what the flower girl could do.
Her tail lowered as she looked at them with a determined gleam in her eyes. They were about to confront a noble, more than likely over the possession of the maiden. More than likely risking their own lives. Somehow, finally being with the maiden made her feel less fearful.
"Are you ready?"

Taossul couldn't wait any longer. Darting out of the alley, he ran down the road and across another one. A car almost narrowly missed him, but he ended up rolling over the hood.
"Hey, watch it," the driver shouted angrily, shaking a fist at him.
"Sorry," Taossul called, not even bothering to look back as he ran up the broad flight of stairs to the building. The flower scent was so strong. She had to be inside that building. He would find her somehow, he didn't know the details but he knew he would. Another scent met his nose, wolves. Running in full flight down the hallways, he followed the scent of the maiden. As he ran, he realized the wolves were with her. In wolf form, he skidded around a corner and paused in the doorway leading to the room... The room holding the Flower Maiden inside...
Taossul's hackles rose and a growl rumbled deep in his throat. There was a noble, too.

Accalia
Accalia could feel the maiden's grip tighten around neck, she looked at her then back to Kaze. She slowly made her way down the stairs, not wanting to shake the maiden around too much, she jumped in surprise as she saw Kira charge down the steps "Kira!" she looked at Kaze then back to where Kira had been. Accalia looked at Kaze "Are you ready?" Accalia nodded in determination before walking a little faster down the steps, "Kaze you need to take her, and make sure she gets out of here, okay?" she stopped and waited for Kaze before letting the maiden switch over to Kaze. She ran down he stairs before Kaze could argue, the smell of the noble was burning her nose as she made her way down the dark stairwell. When she reached the main floor she could smell Kira as well as the noble "Kira?" she whispered as she made her way in the darkness. "Hello there." a voice hissed, Accalia jumped backwards and bared her teeth at the unknown figure "What do you want?" she growled. The smell of the noble made her head ache and her nose burn "You're the noble we have been smelling." Accalia wanted to lunge forward but she held her ground "Yes, Yes I am." he let out a menacing laugh that made Accalia stiffen. The noble took a few more steps forward until he was almost face to face with Accalia, Accalia snarled and latched onto his arm, the taste of metal filled her mouth as she held on. The noble stood up and lifted his arm "Bad doggy." she hissed, he waved his arm until she fell off and landed on the ground. She jumped up and lifted her tail and raised her ears "What do you want?" she let out a booming laugh before answering "I'm here for you and your friends, and of course, the maiden." Accalia snapped her jaws at him "You won't touch an of them!" she ran forward and lunged at his neck but was punched away and hit a beam, she yelped but jumped back up and glared at him.

Taossul's first instinct was to leap for this noble's throat. But almost at the same time, and overpowering the first, was the instinct that told him to protect someone else - the Flower Maiden. Skirting around the noble in wolf form, he walked quietly to the Maiden's side and stood a few paces away from the other wolves. He knew they wouldn't hurt her or they would have already, but he wasn't about to go ramming himself into a pack. Whining softly, he realized for the first time how beautiful the Maiden really was. Maybe it wasn't just raw instinct, the stirrings of a primeval soul, that told him to protect her. Could it be something deeper? Throwing the thoughts away, he trotted forward so that he was standing in front of the Maiden and faced the noble in a defensive position. If that noble got anywhere near the Maiden, it would be over his dead body. A low snarl rose instinctively, and he didn't try to keep it quiet, feeling his hackles rise again. Even if it were just he and the other wolf, they would be able to defeat this arrogant noble. As long as he kept the Flower Maiden safe, he didn't fully care.

Akarui had enough time to see the nasty glare in Kira's eyes before the young male swooped down the stairs as fast as a bolt of lightning. Kaze, after getting over her shock, promptly barked at his disappearing body.
"Kira!" She growled with a slight tinge of worry in her voice, "We need to stay together! We don't know what this noble is capable of." The maiden's eyes narrowed down the staircase, deciding that the wolf probably wasn't planning on coming back. She agreed with the dominant she-wolf though, a group of wolves are nearly impossible to break than merely one of them.
"Are you ready?" Kaze was asking Accalia, a gleam of determination in her eyes. The two picked up the pace.
"Kaze, you need to take her," Accalia stopped and allowed the small girl to step off. Akarui slipped silently onto Kaze's back, her arms snaking around the fluffy animal's neck, and watched with concerned eyes as Accalia dashed down the stairs and disappeared as well. She wasn't entirely sure where or what a "safe" place would be in this city, but Kaze must know the place better than her. I don't want to go somewhere safe; what if Accalia and Kira get hurt? She couldn't bear the thought of either of them getting injured because they were protecting her. I have to help somehow...
Akarui tapped Kaze's shoulder lightly, bringing her face up to the wolf's ear to speak for the first time since she'd been rescued.
"You said a moment ago that you should stay together," She said in a jarringly soft, calm voice, "I think it would be best to follow them." Of course, the wolf was free to do whatever she liked to. It wasn't like Akarui was fit to control anyone, but it wouldn't hurt to try and sway opinions for now.
Abruptly, a surge of pain ripped through her, causing the maiden to cry out and bury her face in Kaze's neck to stifle the resulting whimpers. "It's Accalia...Sh-She's..."

Personality: Kaden is a clever wolf with quick thinking. He's brave and very protective. Kaden normally thinks before attacking unless it's to protect someone important to him. Kaden cares not much to the nobles and often tries to ignore them but avoiding at all costs.
History: Kaden was born out of a litter of 5 others, he was the only boy out of 5 sisters and often hated it, for reasons of having to play 'nice' to them. As Kaden grew his family started to grow apart as his father, Alpine had left to join his old pack and left the city, A few of Kaden's sisters were caught by people and were taken not knowing what their fate would be and Kaden finally left after the city it's-self started having trouble.

((mhmm sure. We aren't that far into it though lol. Basically Accalia and Kaze met up before and were going to go rescue the maiden, in this case is Akarui which was in a lab i think. My wolf, Kira, joined when the two were discussing a strategy inside. After accalia distracted the outside guards, the three got inside and split up there own ways to find the maiden. Kaze turned off the lights so the buildings dark and accalia broke the maiden out of a glass thingy, dunno what there called, The three met up again and started to escape until they picked up the scent of a noble. Kaze took the flower maiden to make sure she escapes and the other two wolves went to face the noble. That's basically where we are at right now. I'm not sure about the other wolves though. ))

Accalia
Accalia yelped in shock when Kira was thrown off and hit a beam, she ran over "Are you okay?" she jumped back as he charged forward again. Accalia growled at the noble, she followed Kira's movements and jumped at him, her teeth sinking into his un-gloved hand, a pained yell escaped the noble's mouth as she bite down, his tainted blood seeping into her mouth. As the noble beat her head furiously Accalia knew she couldn't give up, she had to distract him long enough for the maiden and the others to escape. "Kira! Go with Kaze!" she said as she released her grip and dodged the noble's punch "As soon as you are all out I will be right behind you." she didn't know if this was true but she had to try, she wasn't even sure if Kira would listen. Acalia got distracted by another wolf in the room and was smacked to the floor, a yelp escaped her maw but she was quick to recover and jump back up on her paws. Blood left her mouth and dripped onto the floor, she snarled and jumped at the noble's face but a quick punch knocked her away and onto the floor. She lay there limp, her body not listening to her, she growled and forced herself up. She limped forward and grabbed his leg, her teeth making dents in his gold leg plates. The noble looked down at her and kicked her away, she fell to the tiled floor, her body couldn't muster enough strength to pick itself up. A loud growl escaped her maw as the noble stood over her, a menacing smirk spread across his face, his eyes full of evil and hatred.

He snarled viciously as he lodged his fangs into the nobles arm, but he was easily shaken off due to his fatigue. Kira heaved heavy pants as he watched Accalia follow his actions. He began to go in for another attack when he heard words that struck him. "Kira! Go with Kaze!" she said as she released her grip and dodged the noble's punch. He stared up at her mystified,"Are you crazy?! He'll kill you!" His eyes narrowed when he noticed she spoke with uncertainty, "As soon as you are all out I will be right behind you."
No... No, I can't. Running away won't help. He growled mildly wanting to show he still had strength but his leg suddenly gave out making him collapse. "Damn it." Kira whispered in a curse under his breath and gazed up. To his horror, he saw Accalia limp on the ground with the noble closing in on her, his eyes having that disgusting gleam of resentment and evil. Kira couldn't help but let his instincts take over.
"Get away from her!" Kira snapped hatefully and wildly enraged at the noble. He skidded as fast as his legs could carry him to be a shield in front of Accalia. His stances was wobbly and not that firm, but he seemed determined to hold his ground. With all the strength he could muster, he grazed his claws across the noble's face, scarring one of his eyes badly. With the short distraction, he weaseled himself under the she wolf and with haste, attempted to lift her onto his back.Her size was overwhelming compared to Kira's and the extra weight on back leg made it ache worse.
The wolf snatched his jaws mildly on Accalia's neck scruff to make sure she wouldnt fall off and sped off down the hall as fast as he could. His heavy breathing was becoming unstable under the pressure and he winced and whined quietly everytime he stepped with his injured leg. His will and instincts alone were driving him to proceed on. He hoped that his claw mark would distract the noble and impair his vision enough as a distraction. But more importantly, he hoped that Kaze and the maiden were out and that the two wolves could escape as well.

Accalia
Accalia jumped in shock as Kira sheilded her from the noble and slashing his face, the noble's hand went to his face in attempt to rub the pain away. She almost yelped when she felt her body being lifted off the ground and being carried away quickly "Kira?" she asked, she tried to see who it was but she couldn't get a clear view but she was sure it was him. She could hear his whines of discomfort and the heaviness in his breathing was apparent to her that she was too heavy "I can walk." she whined as she wiggled herself off of his back and landed on the floor "Oof." she said quietly. She stood up and shook out her fur "Thank you." she whispered, she limped towards him "Do you think Kaze got out with the maiden?" she asked. She slowed her pace when she remembered how Kira was thrown earlier, "Are you okay?" she whined, she lowered her ears "Again, Thank you for helping me." her tail swayed slightly. She knew the exit was in the other direction but there was no way they could go back out the way they came but she knew there had to be another exit. As she walked she beared no weight on her right front leg, "Do you think there's another way out?" she asked, but her question was answered "There!" she pointed with her nose. She rushed over to the door, she knew this was an exit because there was a bright green sign that read 'Exit', as she made her way to the door she stumbled and fell face first "..Ow..'' she grumbled as she stood back up. "Let's get out of here." she whispered as she jumped up and placed her good paw on the push handle, revealing the outdoors, the snow blew past making the door hard to hold open "Let's hurry." she said as she held the door open with her shoulder.

"I can walk."She whined as she wiggled herself off of his back and landed on the floor. "Oof." Kira blinked and breathed easier a bit relieved,"Sorry. Guess I got caught up in the moment." She stood up and shook out her fur "Thank you." He blinked showing a bit of surprise. That's a first. I never get thank yous. Then again, i never risk my neck for someone i met several hours ago. The only response he could think to give was a small simple smirk followed by a shrug.
"Do you think Kaze got out with the maiden?" The she wolf asked. He had a nervous twitch while he paced his walk slowly," I hope so... If not, we may have to distract the noble longer." He felt a jolt of pain ride up his hind leg and winced in pain for the moment, accidentally letting out a short whine. "Are you okay?" She whined again, noticing his slow movements. Once he heard the comment, he stood up straight trying to walk the pain off. "Erm... yea." His gaze fell onto his paws,"It's not the first time my leg has been like this after a fight." He forced on a tinge of a grin, "You have no need to worry about me. We got out alive for now... Right?" "Again, Thank you for helping me." Her tail swayed slightly as the two continued on.
As they progessed on, Kira began to feel his pain lessen more and more. He couldn't tell if it was because the Accalia's conversation had distracted him, or if the wound was actually healing. It didn't really matter though. All they needed to do is locate the exit and the wolves were home free. "Do you think there's another way out?" the she wolf asked. He had opened his mouth to speak words of assurance that there was but Accalia answered her own question."There!"
To his amazement, she pointed with the top of her nose to a neon lime green sign that read 'Exit'. He couldn't believe it. Kira tailed Accalia as she rushed towards the door. Her excitement caused her to become reckless and stumble falling face first. Kira couldn't help but let out a mild snort of a laugh before proceeding up to here. "Ow..'' she grumbled. "Nice one..."[/color] He smirked sarcastically, gesturing her to stand again as she did.
"Let's get out of here." she whispered as she jumped up and placed her good paw on the push handle. It twisted sideways revealing the blistering cold outside. The snow blew past making the door hard for her to keep open. "Let's hurry." she said as she held the door open with her shoulder. Kira nodded and picked up his grandpa like pace as he rushed out the door.
His ears twitched hearing the familiarity of the city he dreamed of. The cars on the paved streets. The chatter of people walking mindlessly on the sidewalks and the brisk winter wind carrying the racket.. Even the police sirens he heard were music to his ears. "I've never been so glad to be outside in my life." The young wolf spoke his thought outloud. He lifted his gaze to the snow sprinkled sky as he breathed his last visible sigh of relief.
Once he was relaxed, he turned back to Accalia, something wandering through his mind. "So... We have this er... maiden, is it? I never actually heard what her importance is to us. I mean, i saw the witchcraft and everything, but it seems both you and Kaze know something I don't. What's so special about her that we risked our lives for her?" His ears flicked eagerly, waiting for some far fetch'd, supernatural explanation. But after all he had just witnessed, Kira could believe anything at this point.

Accalia heard the sound of sirens in the distance, the footsteps of people walking down the street, she put her illusion up and walked slowly down the street. "I've never been so glad to be outside in my life." Accalia laughed "Me either, I always hated being indoors." People looked at Accalia's injured form, the way the illusion held her arm up like it was broken "Ma'am? Are you alright?" a passerby asked "Yes I'm fine." she said quickly, the man looked at her again and walked off. "So... We have this er... maiden, is it? I never actually heard what her importance is to us. I mean, i saw the witchcraft and everything, but it seems both you and Kaze know something I don't. What's so special about her that we risked our lives for her?" Accalia turned her head "The maiden? Oh. Well it has been said she is the key to this place called Paradise, a place for us wolves to go when the world freezes over..My dad told me a story of four great wolves who rescued the maiden of their time and opened Paradise, but only one wolf made it, the others died before they could reach it.." Accalia sighed "And when the world is re-born Paradise closes and awaits the new generation of wolves to re-open it once again..It's like a never ended cycle ya' know?" Accalia saw a large figure storming down the street, she tilted her head and gasped. "Hide!" she whispered, she pushed Kira into an alley and pulled him down behind a large box. The noble from before stormed past the alley, his face flushed with anger, blood leaving the gash on his face. Accalia sighed in relief "That was close.." She stood back up and left the alley "What should we do now? I'm sure Kaze and the maiden already left the building..Maybe they are still in the city somewhere. I hope they didn't wait for us, it's too dangerous here..Maybe they left." she hoped this was the case, she yawned tiredly.

For once, Kira wasn't so stubborn to use his illusion. The thought of having to hide disgusted him still, but there was no way in hell he would risk being spotted in his condition. He stood a bit shakily and peered up seeing a man asking about Accalia's wounds from earlier. "Ma'am? Are you alright?" the passerby asked "Yes I'm fine." she said quickly. The man looked at her again before walking off.
She glanced back at Kira remembering his question turned her head "The maiden? Oh. Well it has been said she is the key to this place called Paradise, a place for us wolves to go when the world freezes over... He blinked a bit shaken. The world freezing over? The idea seemed too familiar to him. He pondered for a bit and blinked. Wait. Wasn't that an old fairy tale? The thinking suddenly brought back a misty image of a white and a golden wolf. He couldn't put his paw on why though. The wolf's mind tried to dwell deeper into the idea but he snapped out of it, jumping when he heard Accalia shout, "Hide!"
Before he had time to respond, she pushed Kira into the alley down beside a large box. His curiousity made him stare over where she was looking. The wolf winced seeing the noble he had scarred storm pass angrily. Blood poured from the slash on his face. "Heh... he looks pissed." Kira grinned satistifed in a silent whisper. As soon as he had passed and the coast was clear, Accalia sighed in relief "That was close.." Kira stood back up, still in the alley just in case anyone came back. "What should we do now? I'm sure Kaze and the maiden already left the building... Maybe they are still in the city somewhere. I hope they didn't wait for us, it's too dangerous here... Maybe they left." "I'm sure they have to be safe by now. I think we bought them enough time." He didn't know if his words were true, but he wanted to soften the mood.
It was getting late. Nightfall was nearly upon them. He glanced over hearing the she wolf's yawn and muttered, "You look exhausted. Perhaps we should find somewhere to catch up on rest. I kinda want to make sure my cut is fine anyways. Are you sure your wounds are?" He knew the fight had been brutal on both of them. And why did that guy used lazer beams? What is he, an alien?? Wonder if he has antennes or a second thumb... Or maybe wings! Lucky jerk... I want wings! He made strange faces, imagining the different features, when his rumbling stomach made him blink as he looked down. "Man... Now i really regret not eating before I left the house...."

Accalia looked down at her feet as she walked, she often did this when she was tired and she wasn't quite sure why. "You look exhausted. Perhaps we should find somewhere to catch up on rest. I kinda want to make sure my cut is fine anyways. Are you sure your wounds are?" Accalia snapped out of her trance "Oh, uhm, sure." she looked down at her beat up arm "I'm sure it will be okay." she patted him on the shoulder playfully "Nothing to worry about." a grin spread across her face. After a moment she looked back at her feet then back to Kira, she almost burst into laughter when she watched Kira make faces that were quite odd. After a second of holding in laughter she heard his stomach growl "Man... Now i really regret not eating before I left the house...." Accalia giggled "Looks like someone forgot their breakfast." she rubbed her stomach "Now that I recall..I don't think I ate either." her stomach growled at her "Guess not." she laughed. She looked back at him and tilted her head "You lived with humans? Or did you just have a house? If it was humans..What was it like?" she heard her stomach groal again and looked forward, in the distance she saw a hot dog stand getting ready to close "Stay here." she smirked, dropping her illusion she limped up to the man and sat, her eyes turning big and wide, she was showing him the 'puppy dog' eyes. The man looked at her with some sympathy in his eyes "Hungry girl?" he sighed and dug in his cart and gave her a large string of hot dogs, she held them in her jaws carefully "Don't tell any of the local dogs I gave that to ya alright?" he chuckled before pushing his cart away. Accalia trotted over to Kira and dropped them at his paws "Easy." she smiled, she looked down a dark alley and saw a large box, "As much as I hate looking like some stray mutt, that box will have to do for now." she looked at him "It's going to be hard getting a room looking all beat up." she chuckled. She trotted down the alley and sniffed the large box "I'm sure we both could fit in here without being squished." she walked in and plopped down. "You have the other side." she yawned, she laid her head on her paws and quickly fell asleep.

He blinked looking up seeing Accalia staring at him giggle. He looked over to the side feeling a small flush of embarrassment overcome him. "Looks like someone forgot their breakfast."Accalia giggled. "Heheh... Erm yea... I skipped that slop so I could venture out into the city as soon as possible. I regret it now..." Kira glanced back at her out of the corner of his eye as she rubbed her stomach, "Now that I recall... I don't think I ate either." Her stomach growled at her, proving her answer true. "Guess not." she laughed. Kira let out a small chuckle as well. "Next time. I'll remember to get food before I leave the house."
"You lived with humans? Or did you just have a house? If it was humans... What was it like?" He blinked, seeing the she wolf sparked with curiosity as his statement. She's... actually intrigued by this? I don't even know where to start. Luckily, her stomach cut him off and she looked into the distance. Kira followed her gaze and spotted a closing hot dog stand. His mouth water like a river just from the thought of food and apparently the she wolf had the same thought. "Stay here." she smirked, dropping her illusion she limped up to the man and sat, her eyes turning big and wide.
"Puppy dogs eyes." The wolf couldn't help but laugh. "Nearly never fails. Especially on girls." He grinned dropping his illusion as he watched her trot back with a large string of hot dogs grasped between her jaws. She dropped them in front of his forepaws. "Easy." she smiled. He pawed the end of the string and bit the end of it off, "Thanks. Why didn't I think of that?"The two ate there fill quickly. Kira stretched a bit after yawning lazily. When he glanced over to where Accalia was standing, she was gone, moving towards a large dumpster box.
Kira trailed after her, "Your planning in sleeping in that thing tonight?" "As much as I hate looking like some stray mutt, that box will have to do for now." she looked at him "It's going to be hard getting a room looking all beat up." she chuckled. "Doubt it," He shruged, "If they let that alien have a house, them I'm sure we could. Then again, I'm broke." He laughed, "I guess a box is better than the sidewalk." "I'm sure we both could fit in here without being squished." she walked in and plopped down. "You have the other side."
He nodded as he wandered into the box. To his surprise, Accalia was already asleep by the time he got inside. "I guess it has been a long day.", he shrugged understanding and laid down on the other side of the box. The wolf slowly closed his eyes but he couldnt manage to fall asleep. He shifted on his side but sleep to elude him. He sighed quietly to himself and simply rested his head on his paws, hoping to fall asleep, and he gradually but slowly drifted to sleep.

Accalia hadn't slept that long, maybe only about an hour or so, she lifted her head up and perked her ears, her blue gaze traveled to the sleeping Kira then down the alley. Her tilted her head to the left when she saw a poorly looking girl trudging by, Accalia felt almost sympathetic for her and quietly left the box and limped down the alley, her tail swaying slightly as the girl kept walking. As she approached her she noticed her ragged clothes and her dirty scent, she came up behind her and let out a small whine, the girl spun around and stared at her. Accalia never has shown sympathy to any human before but she didn't know what came over her, the girl had a frightened look in her eyes as she stared into Accalia's blue eyes. Accalia had an idea that the girl knew she was a wolf by her facial expression, it was fearful, Accalia whined and wagged her tail and nudged the girl's hand. The girl smiled and knelt down in front of her, the girl's hand cautiously moved to Accalia's head then down her black fur "What's your name?" the girl began to use both hands to rub her neck "How about Susie! I had a dog named Susie but she ran away." the girl frowned "But you can be my new Susie!" Accalia perked her ears, Susie?, The girl dug around in her small satchel and pulled out a ragged rope and slipped it around Accalia's neck. Accalia looked around in confusion, unsure of what to do, her gaze stopped at the box Kira was in until the girl tugged on the rope which made Accalia yelp in shock, Accalia whined in confusion as the girl led her down the empty street. The girl went up some steps that led to a smaller house "Here we are Susie!" she opened the door and pulled Accalia in, the girl's parents almost screamed in shock "Take that thing outside!" an older woman demanded "But mom-" "No buts! Look at it's leg! It's broken! We can't afford any kind of care for it right now." An elderly man looked at his wife "Come one Judy, the girl needs someone to play with. Even if it is a dog!" The parents began bickering back an forth until the dad looked at the girl "Keep her in your room, and if she needs to go outside let her out." the girl almost jumped in joy "Come on Susie!" Accalia's tail was placed between her legs as she was pulled down the hall into a small bedroom. The room was very small, it had tan walls and a small bed on the floor, the girl slammed the door shut which made Accalia jump in shock "It's okay, it's just a door." Accalia just wanted to find a way out but she didn't want to frighten the girl, she watched as the child ran around her room collecting various bows and other hair things that Accalia had never seen. "Ready?" Accalia tilted her head in confusion as the girl sat in front of her and began to tie things into her fur and adding bows to the top of her head. Accalia whined in embarrassment, Good thing none of the others are here to see this..

Kira whimpered slightly under his breath during his sleep. Tossing and turning uncomfortably, he cramped his figure into corner shivering a bit. He took a deep breath and quickly sprung up from his sleep hitting his head on the box. "Ow! Son of a-", he grumbled as he peered over to where Accalia was laying shocked to see she had vanished. His ears perked alertly as he lept out of the box, searching the perimeter outside of the box. Where could she have gone? Did... one of the nobles get to her? Maybe a hunter? He paced worriedly with grief whining.
The wolf winced, his ears suddenly tracking a familiar voice. "Hey runt. What are you doing out here? I thought you had to go be with your master." The tone sounded dark and powerful to him as Kira sulked down a bit watching a mob of shadows approach him. Out of the distance, he saw a tough, rugged doberman emerge from the shadows, followed by three mix breed dogs that were obviously followers, a female husky, and a pure black labrador last. Kira stood up straight and frowned as he kept his head low.
"I thought i asked you a question runt!", the doberman snapped, revealing his sharp teeth throwing the wolf a threatening glance. Kira took a while to respond, still half asleep,"I did... and I snuck off again when he fell asleep." The dog growled warily, obviously trying to show off his dominance when a voice came from behind. "Max, I doubt he would lie about leaving us. You know how strict the two legged hounds can be." Max flicked his ears hearing the voice and muttered,"I don't remember asking you Dodge." The doberman smirked and sniffed around, leading up to the box the two wolves had been sleeping in,"What's this? Who was with you." "It was a stray i chased out earlier. I took over to rest in there." Max smirked to Kira's relief, knowing he had believe his small white lie.
"You should come back with us then! Heh... we found a perfect alley that always has wasted leftovers from the food house next door." One of the smaller follower dogs barked, the other two mixbreeds nodded almost simutanteaously, wagging there tails anxiously. "Wha' do ya say?" The wolf frowned a bit. The thought of food always made him happy and this pack was as close to a family that he has had. But, what about Accalia? And Kaze? After all that has happened, I can't just leave them. He soon blinked and had a new thought. What if she just left me to get to paradise herself? I mean... she did say before only one wolf got to paradise. I would get in the way. Kira grimaced sighing and made up his mind soon after,"Alright, let's go."

Accalia sat there as the girl continued to add bows and ties to her fur "You are so pretty!" she giggled, Accalia lifted her injured paw from the ground "Does that hurt?" the girl asked as she made a huge mistake. The girl grabbed her paw and held it tightly, Accalia snarled at the girl with her teeth bared, the girl let out a horrifying scream and scrambled to get away from her. Accalia stood up then backed up until her back end hit the bed, moments later her father entered the room with a rifle in his hand "What's going on!" he yelled as he ran to his daughter. The girl pointed her finger at Accalia "She tried to bite me." Accalia growled, she did no such thing, the man stood up and charged at her with the butt of the rifle in the air, ready to strike. She dodged the hit and latched onto his arm "Ahh!" he yelled, Accalia released him and ran from the room, down the small hall, right past the mother, out the door and onto the empty street. Accalia stopped to shake out the bows from her fur, a growl left her mouth "I'll never do that again." she spun around when she heard the heavy breathing of the man and saw him aiming his gun at her "Shoulda listened to my wife." he shot his gun but Accalia was able to dodge it and run down the street, her injured paw screaming at her. The man's heavy footsteps could be heard behind her "Dammit Accalia." she growled, she turned down an alley and crashed right into a rottweiler "Hey!" he growled "Watch where you're going, mutt." the rottweiler glared at her. Accalia stood up "Who are you calling a mutt?" the fur on her back stood straight up, the Rottweiler growled and backed up. Accalia turned her head when she heard footsteps behind her "There you are!" Accalia almost ran but was caught by surprise when the dog latched his jaws around her neck. Accalia's yelp was drowned out by another gun shot that hit a nearby dumpster, she snarled and scratched at the dog's chest until he released his grip, he bared his blood stained teeth, "Damn you." she growled. She lunged forward and sunk her canines into his shoulder, a yowl of pain left his mouth and into the cold air, Accalia felt his teeth sinking into her hind leg, she growled and bit down harder. The Rottie chomped on her leg like it was some sort of chew toy, out of pain Accalia finally released her grip and jumped away "Is that..all...you got?" she panted, the rottweiler smirked "Just getting started." Accalia knew in her condition she couldn't keep fighting him but she didn't have much of a choice. They both let out a snarl as the reared into the air and went at each other's throats, loud barks echoed through the alley and began to attract the attention of nearby people. The voices of the people distracted the Rott long enough for Accalia to grab his jugular and pin him down, she thought he was finished until another gunshot rang out and hitting the ground right next to her, she jumped in shock and the rott took this opportunity to knock her down and rip at her.
Accalia yelped each time his jaws met her body, she thought this was where she would die, in an alley in a city but a young man came to her aid, he kicked the dog off of her and held him off long enough for her to get away. Accalia ran down the street, her body aching in pain, she just wanted to hide and never be found again. She turned down another alley and could smell Kira but she was too tired to even go find him, she looked down one of the main roads and saw a numerous amount of people. She put up her illusion and limped down the street, the concerned whispers of the people could be heard, if she saw someone walking down the street covered in blood and wounded she would be concerned too. She could hear them asking someone if they should help but she knew these people probably thought she was some homeless girl that just got in a brawl over some food, so they didn't offer any aid. Finally leaving the group of people Accalia turned down a dark alley, dropping her illusion, and crawled behind a dumpster and collapsed on her side. She was so tired, she hoped no one would find her, they would probably think she was dead. She sure did look like it, her fur matted a soaked in blood, her body mangled, she sighed and closed her eyes and let seep take away the aches and pains.

"All right! We have our food runner back!" one of the mutts shouted happily. "Heh-hey, let's go then. I could use the rest." Max rolled his eyes,"Alright you lazy shrimps. Let's get going." The doberman led on quickly after speaking; Kira following dead last. He was surprised when the black lab called Dodge paused a bit so he could walk alongside Kira. His eyes had a curious spark in them.
"That was another wolf's scent, wasn't it?" Dodge whispered under his breath so the dogs ahead couldn't hear. Kira grimaced, and the ragged tilted his head,"What's wrong? I thought you would be happy meeting another wolf instead of us mutts." He chuckled mildly. As the wolf padded on, he opened up to the laborador, revealing what he had experienced. Even to the smallest detail, he chimed about the newly found maiden, the other wolves, the strange noble, which he gloated about scarring, and paradise.
Dodge looked at him stunned. "Paradise huh? That sounds like an old wives' tale." "I think it's true..." Kira shook his head trying to ignore the mutt's look of disbelief,"I mean... Why would I be told it as a pup, and why would that freak be so eager to get the maiden? I'm sure with all of his money, he could hire any other girl to fufill his... er... desires." He grinned obviously hinting at the noble's love life. "But I'm sure he would need to pay ALOT." They both laughed as Dodge nudged his shoulder, signalling for him to stop being stupid.
"So, where are these wolves now? Are you going to join with them later to get to paradise?" the labrador asked Kira expectantly. Kira bit his bottom lip listening to him continue. "Oh, I can only imagine what it would be like! Running wild and free to a mythical land. That's the way all canines should live. You wolves truely are the kings, the lucky ones." Kira frowned taking a deep breath after the awkward silence and spoke,"Well, Kaze left with the maiden and Accalia... she.... left. I think she left to get to paradise by herself." "Hmph, doesn't sound like the wolf you told me about." Dodge scoffed quietly.
The wolf looked down innocently. "She was gone when I woke up. I went to go find her and well, you guys came." The lab tilted it's head,"Then you don't know if she left or not. Look, your a wolf. Your tougher. Smarter. Faster. You know inside you don't have to obey Max. If you want to go find her, then go for it. This sounds like a once in a lifetime oppurtunity and you only live once.", he smiled warmly nudging Kira again as he blinked. The wolf sighed,"I do want to... but i'll get in the way. I'm not as strong or willing as them. I'll think about it tonight though." Dodge nodded and they caught up with the rest of the pack as they halted in a dark alley.
They all settled down, huddling together in a dog pile (literally lol) to keep each other warm and each slowly began to drift asleep. Kira seemed to be the only one still awake, worrying about what the dog had said. He shook his head gazing up into the night sky. A faint, unusually familiar scent of blood lingered in the musky air but Kira was too tired to concentrate to find out what it was. As he yawned, he shifted until he was comfortable as his eyelids descended. Kira slowly drifted to sleep but showed a worried face. He twinged in his sleep as he almost silently mumbled the she wolf's name, "Accalia..."

Accalia was awaken from her slumber by a stern voice of a man, she lifted her head and saw a tall broad man in a uniform talking to a group of people "Ma'am I assure you wolves haven't been seen for years." "But we saw it! With our own two eyes! It was vicious and tried to kill a dog!" Accalia huffed "Only because he attacked me, It's not like I wanted to bump into him." she slowly stood up and stumbled over, she had forgotten about her wounds. She took her time to stand back up and watched the uniformed man exchanging words to the group, she silently limped away and went to the alley she and Kira had been in. She didn't bother with her illusion, her head drooped low to the ground and her tail hung down like a ragged drape, her dirty fur made her look like some abused stray mutt roaming the streets. The startled gasps made her move a little faster, she heard people alerting the authorities that 'the vicious wolf is right here in front of me', Accalia ignored them and turned down the familiar alley. She saw the box a few feet away and rushed over to it "Kira!" she barked but tilted her head when he wasn't there, she whined in worry and sniffed around. The scents of other dogs were here but she couldn't name their breed "There's no sign of a fight or a struggle," she lifted her head "Did he go with them?" she whined again "I shouldn't have went after that girl..." she dropped her head and went back into the box and laid her head on her paws. In a matter of minutes men in uniform were standing outside her sleeping place, all their pistols drawn and ready to fire, but a younger man holstered his and walked forward, his eyes showed sadness as he knelt down in front of her. "Vicious isn't she boys?" she sensed a humorous tone in his voice, the other men holstered their weapons as well "She can't stay in the city..I mean if she is a wolf..Maybe she is just a big dog?" The man sighed "She doesn't look like she is going to make it, let's take her out of here." Did they really know she was a wolf? She whined and lifted her head and looked into the young man's eyes, trying to tell him that their assumptions were true, she didn't belong here. "Okay girl we'll get you out of here." he whispered to her, he stood up and exchanged a few words to the other men, after a few moments the men walked away, leaving the young man. He turned around and gently scooped her up and carried her out of the alley "That's a good girl.." he rubbed her shoulder and carried her out of the city. The snow began to fall in delicate flakes onto their bodies, Accalia laid her head his chest and wagged her tail, a teary eyed smiled spread across his face as he laid her in the snow. Why is he crying? The man knelt down by her and rubbed her chin, his other hand rubbing the top of her head soothingly "You aren't meant to be in the city, you are meant to live free out here.." a tear fell down his cheek but he was quick to wipe it away. She gently licked his hand as he stood up and turned away, his muffled cries made Accalia's heart break "Do I really look that bad?" She watched him get farther away, she wanted to follow him and say she was alright, but she was far to weak and tired to even stand. She never thought she would ever show affection or sympathy to any human after what they did to her father. She whined as his figure disappeared, the snow had begun to come down harder and making it almost hard to see two feet in front of her, she sighed and curled up and closed her eyes.
(Edit: I was thinking that the Rottweiler Accalia got in a fight with could be a part of the 'pack' Kira is in and he tells how he got in a fight and blows it out of proportion.)

Hours passed and Kira slept a bit soundly. Occasionally, he let out a whine and tossed awkwardly on his side. Daybreak was on the horizon when the wolf finally awoke. Blinking tiredly, he let out a groggy yawn and stretched himself out, rustling his fur. As he surveyed the area, he noticed that the laborador was gone. "Hmph. Probably off for another daily morning stroll", Kira shruged, opening his jaws to let another yawn flutter out from his chest. "Why, good morning Kira..." his ears perked peculiarly as he peered over at the she husky. She spoke with a gingerly smile on her face and proceeded towards him, rubbing agaisnt him for an affectionate greeting.
He blinked and rolled his eyes letting out a light chuckle,"Good morning? You seem to be in a good mood today Eclipse." "Oh? And I am not on other days?" Eclipse joked flicking one of her ears to the side giving him a playful look. He blinked whispering,"Actually yes... When that tyrant is awake, you seem miserable." The husky sighed,"Look, Maxwell can be incredibly nice. He just... has a hard time showing it. Give the poor guy a chance, will ya?" Max's morning groan made Kira freeze for a second before whispering,"Alright, I'll try..." She licked Kira's cheek, expressing a thank you and wandered over to greet 'Maxwell'.
He watched the two stroke each others necks and lick each others muzzle. Tch... She's his girl. Of course he's nice to her. He thought. Kira lifted his muzzle and sniffed the air for the alluring aroma of food, but he found something else. B-blood? He blinked and the others dogs peered up seeing something approach them. A beat up looking rottweiler headed into the alley and laid himself down grumbling,"Damned she mutt." Max jumped up and trotted over to the newly arrived dog, "What happened to you Axel? You look terrible! Don't tell me you had a run in with the two legged hunters again trying to find food!"
"No, it was a mixed rat that didn't know where she was going. She was snappy towards me and attacked me out of the blue for no reason!" he scowled hatefully. His steronian voice made the small, follower dogs wake from there slumber crankily. "Hey, what's with all the commotion? Could it kill ya'll to let us rest?" Eclipse walked over to the small group whispering in their ears to catch them up to speed and they all simutaneously blinked in shock. "Psh, beat up Axel? Nah, no stray mutt can beat up that meat slug. He's all muscle!"one said in disbelief. Axel glared at the one that spoke, retorting in a loud shout,"It wasn't a mutt. It was a wolf!!!"
The group froze, even Max in astonishment. Kira felt a nervous chill run down his spine. Wolf? Who? Is he sure it wasn't a large mutt? Or had it really been a wolf? Ears pinned against his skull, he pawed the ground whining mildly. He was surprised when Max asked the rottweiler his question for him. "Are you sure it wasn't an over sized, spoiled mutt?" "I saw it! I'm not blind." Axel snapped," And like those little baby kittens of yours said, not much can scar me up like this." Kira snickered a bit at the term kittens. "We are not kittens!" one barked as another protested,"Yea, I hate milk and fish!" The rottweiler and doberman rolled their eyes as Eclipse giggled mildly in the background.
"Well boys, looks like we have to take care of this runt", Max growled and he smirked a bit when the follower dogs cheered on the idea. The other dogs nod in agreement, and even Kira wanted to agree. They did call each other family. But... what if it really was a wolf? He didn't have much time to think as the pack lept off through the city. Kira tailed after them, glancing around frantically. The pack ran throughout the city, having no luck until the she husky picked up a scent. "This way! It is the scent of a hound. A faint trace of Axel's scent is coming from there", she barked anxiously and the others followed. The pack halted abruptly. In front of them laid a dark mutt, nearly motionless.
"That's her!" the rottweiler yelled. Max looked at him and nodded,"You heard him, attack this poor excuse for a mutt!" Kira's eyes got wide as he watched the others snarl at the figure. His heart raced from the stress. It... couldn't have been... He padded closer before anyone else and used his paw to roll the hound over. To his horror, he did get the scent correct. Below him, laid Accalia, looking drastically wounded, and his pack was on the verge of clawing the poor she wolf to pieces.

Accalia felt someone roll her over and immediately jumped up and growled, she laid her ears down when she saw Kira "..Sorry.." she whined. She looked at the group behind him and backed up with her teeth bared, "You again." she snapped at the rottweiler, he growled back at her without saying a word. Accalia couldn't believe Kira had joined these dogs, she looked at him and growled "You going to try to kill me too?" she snapped, her heart ached as she said those words but she knew she shouldn't never joined forces with anyone. She backed away knowing she couldn't fight them all off, especially Kira, with one last glare and spun around then ran to the trees, she came to a slow stop and looked at Kira, her eyes showing her enotional pain, she then quickly looked away and ran into the forest. Her body was telling her to stop but she knew she shouldn't, she stumbled forward and slid in the snow "Dammit." she growled she slowly stood up and peered around trying to find a place to hide. She heard a twig snap and spun around only to see a dog "Hello. Are you injured?" Accalia dropped her ears "Kind of.." she didn't know if she could trust this dog but she didn't have any other choice "Come, come." the dog looked very old but Accalia followed. The old dog led her to an old large pine tree with a large hole in the trunk that led underground "In here." he motioned with his snout, Accalia cautiously crawled in, the den was rather large on the inside and had many types of herbs and plants in the corners. "Sit here please." he patted a soft spot on the floor, Accalia nodded her head and sat down, the dog began to trot around the den grabbing various plants "What are you ding this far away from the city?" he asked, Accalia hesitated "Just trying to get away from some crazy dogs.." he looked at her and nodded. The dog came over and began to treat the wounds on her body "Do you have any friends? Some that could come get you?" Accalia hesitated once more, the dog looked at her after a few moments "Do you?" Accalia looked at the ground "...No.." she whispered. "I won't be able to stay.." the dog laughed "You have to stay, these wounds are pretty bad..I would stay and rest a while if I were in your fur." he yawned "What happened anyway?" Accalia looked at him "Just got in a fight." he nodded his head "I have gotten into a few fights myself when I was young and able." he chuckled "These old bones can't do much for me now." Accalia couldn't help share a small laugh with the old dog. "There!" he backed up to look at her "I say with a few days rest you should be ready to go." Accalia smiled "Thank you." The dog smiled "My pleasure. Now get some rest." he spun in a circle and plopped down and was quick to fall asleep.
Accalia carefully laid on her stomach with her head on her paws but she couldn't find sleep, she was too worried that the group of dogs would come and find her and the dog, she would feel absolutely terrible if she was responsible for the dog's death. After a few minutes of thinking she was finally able to fall asleep, but even in her sleep the sad thoughts wouldn't leave her mind.

"Accalia? Accalia get up..." he whined worriedly as the mutts exchanged confused expressions. The she wolf rolled over to get a glimpse of him."..Sorry.." she whined. She looked at the group behind him and backed up with her teeth bared, "You again." she snapped at the rottweiler. Axel growled viciously, staying silent for a while. He gave off an evil smirk,"Well runt, It looks like your outnumbered. Heh, especially with Max and Kira on my side." Kira held his breath, seeing the she wolf's stunned expression. His heart thundered intensely, feeling a sharp pain in his chest as Accalia's expression changed rapidly from anguish to anger.
She looked at him and snapped "You going to try to kill me too?" His ears pinned flat against his skull. He began to protest,"Accalia, I swear I wasn't-" Kira flinched as he watched her back away, knowing she couldn't fight them all. With one last glare, she spun around, running to the trees. Accalia came to a slow stop to look at Kira, her eyes showing her emotional pain and she then quickly looked away, moving into the forest "Attack!" the doberman howled. "No!" Kira shook his head and darted as the pack pursued after the she wolf. She stumbled forward and slid in the snow and Max was going to close in on her. I can't let him! Before the dog could lunge, Kira charged at his pack mate with lightning speed and crashed into the alpha's side, headbutting and knocking them both back into a snowy oak tree. The rest of the pack skidded to a halt, gawking in disbelief.
The doberman rose, enraged as he roared, "Why did you do that, you fool!!! We could have had her! Did you try to save a pathetic rat's life over your own blood's?!" Kira staggered up about to speak but Max aggressively clenched his great jaws deep in the wolf's loose neck scruff, nearly strangling him, and flung him as hard as he could muster, shredding bits of Kira's skin as he yelped whining in agony from his wrath. "You little brat! I knew you couldn't be trusted!" The wolf laid on the snow ridden ground, seeing his life slowly pass before his eyes. I couldn't. I couldn't help them. I might have only known the wolves for a short time but... There is a bond between us. Us wolves. I can feel it now. Like, my old family. Brothers and sisters. I do care for my pack, but I... I-I couldn't let someone get hurt. I can't stand anymore bloodshed... Kira closed his eyes, a nearly unnoticeable tear forming in the corner of his eyes as he prepared to endure any attack the doberman would throw at him. Max growled with resentment as he padded to the wolf. With a single slice from his razor sharp claws, the snow around Kira was stained by numerous splatters of raining blood.
In complete shock, Kira's eyes opened wide. N-no pain? He... missed? But how? In the background, he heard the remaining of the pack all gasp in unison. As Kira peered up, he saw why. Launched deep and pierced deep into skin, Max choked up, yanking his paw, trying to be gentle, from Eclipse's now brutally scarred up face. "E-eclipse?" the wolf whispered in a cracked voice. "Max... That's enough sweetie," she whimpered in a sweet, innocent tone at the enraged dog,"Kira's learned his lesson. Please stop this. I don't want him ending up like Gale." Max blinked in shock and the wolf mirrored his actions as he spoke,"G-gale?"
The husky nodded,"Yes. M-my brother got into a fierce fight with Maxwell. They fought gruesomely in cold blood. Only the victor came out of it alive. The other... was taken by humans. He's probably-" He gulped nervously eyeing Max as the dog muttered, "Enough of this please." His ears flattened as he spoke, his face flushed with sadness. Kira remained silent thinking to himself. He killed her brother? Surprisingly, his hatred against Kira vanished and he spoke in monotone. "Lets get back home." His face was grim as he started padding back with the rest besides the wolf and Eclipse surprised. "Hey, well what about the mutt that escaped?!" one of the mix breeds yelled. Axel shook his head as he followed the doberman mumbling,"There's no point in arguing with leader when he is like this. Come on shrimps." The three followers blinked and shouted in protest, following the other two dogs. Kira limped up, shaking off his snow blanket. He stood shakily and turned to see Eclipse was still there.
"Eclipse, why did you-" Kira began, but was cut off,"We are family, aren't we Kira?" He was astounded by her words and was more astonished when she licked his cheek. "Now come on, let's get back." Kira nodded without thinking and the two paced slowly, trailing the rest of the pack. The expressions the she wolf had shown him were stained in his mind and he whimpered, hearing her words echo through his mind. "I'm sorry," he whimpered almost silently under his breath, feeling great pain in his chest. Eclipse eyed him a bit funny but kept padding along beside him. The two were silent the rest of the way back to there home, and Kira couldn't help but think about the she wolf worriedly the entire time.

Accalia romped through the snow like a overly excited pup, it had been two days since she has been outside "Hey old man!" she called to her new friend, his butt was in the air with his head and front-paws in the snow. He jumped up and held a dead rabbit in his mouth "Got it!" he trotted over to her and dropped it "I can't take this, you're the one who caught it." she nudged it with her nose back towards him "It's okay, I have another." he backed up and sunk his head back into the hole and pulled out another one "Well okay then." she laughed. They both picked up their meals and returned to the den and ate their fill "I never asked you, but why are you out here instead of the city?" the dog took a moment to respond "That's for me to know." she sensed some aggression in his voice and changed the subject "What should we do today?" The dog lifted his head and perked his ears "You gotta go." Accalia tilted her head "Why?" she almost didn't want to leave him to be all alone again "Now!" he growled, he stood up and stalked towards her "Hey! What's going on!" she yelped in confusion. He shoved her out "Don't come back!" he growled as he ducked back into his home, confusion and sadness filled her head, she spun around and ran to the city, she didn't know why but her brain was telling her to. The morning sunrise made it look like someone threw diamonds over the landscape, she came to a stop to intake nature's beauty until she smelled something "A wolf?...Wait No..Dogs.." she sniffed again "It's a mixture of both." she turned her head to the forest, she wanted to go back but she didn't want to disobey the dog's orders to stay away "Must be old.". She was close to the city and decided to keep going, reaching the city she looked around to make sure no one was out and about, only a few elderly people were awake. She made her way into the city and sniffed around,she knew she would have to find Kira and tell her how sorry she was for those cold words, Are you going to kill me too?, Accalia shook the words from her head and kept walking. Her thoughts trailed back to the old dog, Why was he acting like that? And what had he heard to make him snap at her?, she looked at the ground then back up, she sniffed the air again and could smell Kira.
She wanted to go find him but she knew he was with those dogs so she couldn't just wander in "They would tear me to shreds." she growled. Then a thought came to her mind "What if he doesn't want to see never again?" she whined "What if he draws me in then tells his pack where I am?" a confused whine left her mouth. So many 'What if's' were running through her mind, she looked back to where she came from then forward again, deciding whether or not to keep going or turn around and leave. She thought for a moment and decided to stay, she walked down the lonely street and whispered Kira's name every few minutes, she didn't want to attract the attention of the dogs he was with. The smell of the pack was stronger than ever as she made her way down the street, hearing a soft snore she came to a stop and peered around a corner and saw a pile of dogs sleeping. She looked closer and couldn't tell if Kira was among them, but his scent was coming from the pile "Kira?" she whispered, one of the dogs stirred then lifted his head. Accalia jumped in shock and charged down the street and turning sharply into a familiar alley, she stopped and saw the box was still intact but was severely weathered "Looks like we meet again." she grumbled as she walked in and curled up. She wondered what the old dog was doing, why he had showed so much hostility towards her, finally she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Kira groaned quietly in his sleep feeling something tap against his face. The wolf groaned "Ugh... stop it! I'm trying to sleep..." He rolled over again and blinked his eyes open. "I'm sorry sleeping beauty. But I think you should get up. Max is gone." Kira blinked and sprung up onto his paws as he glanced up, seeing Dodge to his relief, "Hey, where have you been? And what do you mean gone?" "It's kinda personal business," the laborador looked away for a second before continuing, "And he has been gone since i got back a while ago. I heard what happened when i got back. Eclipse told me. She said you got in a bad fight and she had to stop it. Max is probably still mad." Kira frowned nodding but was surprised when he continued, "That's not all either. I think I saw someone familiar pass by a bit ago. Somehow, i remembered the scent."
"Who? You didn't see who it was?" Kira frowned still but curiosity spiked in him. Dodge smirked a bit, "Well, care to find out who it is?" The wolf tilted his head and ran after the dog, seeing he already started walking. "Woah! Wait up! What if its's a dog from another pack around here? I don't want to stirr up trouble," Kira whispered worriedly under his breath, but Dodge didn't seem to listen. "Relax... I'm pretty sure it's not." His ears flicked in annoyance, following beside the dog thinking. Man... He never listens. The two search around the area and Kira could pick up the scent almost clearly now. "Dodge, I can't..." He began, but it was too late. The two stood in a familiar dark alley and Kira couldn't help but shiver nervously.
"Up here." he smiled slightly walking forward but the wolf snagged onto the dogs neck scruff loosely. Kira whined low shaking his head,"N-no... She's upset with me. I'll just upset her." Dodge threw hm a skeptical look then shook his head. "You don't have to. I want to meet this other wolf though. I'm curious." Kira continued whining but he followed the dog as he approached the same box that Kira was resting in before. "Hello? Is anyone in here?" Dodge slowly poked his head through the box flap, glance up at Accalia.

Accalia had a dreamless slumber, the many thoughts that filled her mind wouldn't let her enjoy a peaceful dream. "Hello? Is anyone in here?" Accalia jumped straight up like a scared cat and hit her head on the top of the box, "Ouch." she grumbled lowly. In confused state she looked to where the voice came from, her vision was blurred from her early afternoon nap, she blinked a few times and saw that it was a Labrador. She could smell the other dogs on him and immediately tensed up "Yes, I'm in here." she growled, she was too scared to leave the 'safety' of the box and stayed in. The fur on her back stood straight up as she kept a careful gaze on the dog, she watched his every movement he made, trying to see if she could read his body language. "Why are you here?" she growled "Did your pack send you here to finish me off?" she was[ going to throw more questions at him until she smelled the familiar scent of Kira. She slowly and carefully stuck her muzzle outside the box and took in a few whiffs "Kira?" she slowly exited the box and turned her head and saw Kira standing a few tail lengths back, she perked her ears and wagged her tail "Kira!" she yipped like a pup and romped up to him. She stopped in front of him and laid her ears against her head "I'm sorry.." she whined "I was just scared and angry, I didn't mean what I said to you." she slid onto her stomach and laid her head on her paws then looked up at him with her tail swaying slightly, hoping for forgiveness.

Dodge chuckled a bit watching the she wolf looked to where the voice came from, blinking a few times. "Yes, I'm in here." she growled and immediately tensed up. The fur on her back stood straight up as she kept a careful gaze on the dog "Why are you here?" she growled "Did your pack send you here to finish me off?" The Labrador chuckled again, "Me? Finishing you off? Hate to break it to you, but im the weakest link. I brought a friend of mine that wants to see you."
Kira shuffled back a bit whining nervously as she slowly and carefully stuck her muzzle outside the box and took in a few whiffs, "Kira?" she slowly exited the box and turned her head and saw Kira. The wolf gave off a nervous grin,"s-sup?" Accalia perked her ears and wagged her tail "Kira!" she yipped like a pup and romped up to him, catching him off guard. He blinked in complete shock, his jaw a bit agate. She stopped in front of him and laid her ears against her head "I'm sorry.." she whined "I was just scared and angry, I didn't mean what I said to you." Kira frowned watching as she slid onto her stomach and laid her head on her paws then looked up at him innocently. Kira went deep into thought for a bit, trying to decide what to say exactly.

The wolf couldn't help but still feel responsible and guilty for the whole thing. He frowned and glanced up, watching Dodge walk over. "So? This is the other wolf eh? Kira has told me a lot about you." The wolf blinked, blushing slightly glancing at the ground. The dog laughed again seeing him blush and perked his ears. "Someone's coming. Quick! Over here!" Kira snapped out of it, watching the laborador confused and blinked, watching him flip the latch to an underground passage with his snout. He gripped one of the knobs between his jaws and yanked the door open. "It's getting closer. Come in here if you don't want to get caught." Kira glanced over at Accalia confused but padded forth quickly to the entrance.

Accalia looked at the Lab, A lot about me? What is there to tell?, she grinned then looked back to Kira who was slightly blushing and looking at the ground, she laughed quietly and stood up. "Someone's coming. Quick! Over here!" Accalia spun around to face the lab and watched in confusion as he flipped a latch to go underground, she stood in surprise, I should learn some things from these dogs, "It's getting closer. Come in here if you don't want to get caught." Accalia trotted forward and followed the dog carefully. As she made her way down she kept her ears down and head low, she didn't know what to expect when she reached flat ground.

Kira nudged her softly with his muzzle, motioning for her to go in first. He jumped down after she did, with Dodge coming last. As he did, he reached out for a rope bolted to the back of the door and the door slammed shut from his weight. Kira stared at the dog, astonished. How did he know this was here? Dodge smirked a bit, seeming to answer his thought, "I've lived in the city for years. The building we're below used to be a hotel. If you follow up the hall here, you'll see this was one of the floors that had extra rooms." The wolf blinked and flicked his ears, catching a rat between his pause staring at it in disgust. "Yea... I see why it closed down." Kira smirked a bit as the lab rolled his eyes.
"All from the generosity of the nobles," the dog whispered. Kira nodded, mimicking his sarcasm, "They sure do deserve there title... Maybe paradise will just be a world without them." The two laughed but stopped, staring up at the door hearing muffled growls from above. "Damn it! There not here! I swear i caught there scent," the dog tilted his head hearing the familiar voice of Max. Kira frowned whining nervously but the lab hushed him. "He won't find us if we stay silent," Dodge whispered lowly, "Come on. While there searching, I can show you around."

She stuck her nose to the ground and began to sniff around, the smell of rats and the old smell of humans fill her nose, she lifted her head and crinkled her nose. "I've lived in the city for years. Accalia looked at the lab, Damn nobles, she growled to herself and walked forward "They sure do deserve there title... Maybe paradise will just be a world without them." Accalia came to an abrupt stop "Paradise.." she whispered, "We should get out of here soon we-" Accalia shut her mouth when she heard voices above them "Damn it! There not here! I swear I caught their scent." Accalia crouched low to the ground and laid her ears back. She heard worried whines coming from Kira but she moved her gaze over him and to where they had come from, expecting them to burst in at any moment. "He won't find us if we stay silent." Accalia kept her mouth shut and slowly stood up "Come on. While they're searching, I can show you around." Accalia nodded her head and let the lab take the lead, she stopped and waited for Kira and walked next to him.

The two wolves nodded and walked beside each other as the dog led them quickly down the hall. Kira peered around curiously, looking at all of the old room doors. He tilted his head thinking. Man, this place must sure be old. It gives me the chills. The wolf glanced over his shoulder, seeing they were a safe distance away from the entrance to speak. "H-hey... Accalia?" he began studdering, "Have you been worrying about the others lately?" He frowned a bit flicking his ears,"I have. I guess its just paranoia getting to me. Maybe I shouldn't think so much. Guys aren't supposed to think anyways." Kira smirked briefly before releasing a sigh, shuffling his paws as he walked.
His ears flattened against his skull and his gaze fell to the ground. Ironically, the thought of not thinking led him to think. But what if something did happen to them? It would be my fault... He whined quietly, one of his thoughts escaping his muzzle quietly,"Everyone gets hurt because of me. Always me. I'm never good enough..." Kira peered up frowning, not aware he spoke out loud and kept padding along. His tail twitched nervously and his steps became a bit slower as he rummaged through a few memories in his mind. It's always me... His mind repeated his previous words as he looked away from the she wolf in hopes she wouldn't notice his strange behavior.

Accalia looked at all the old wooden doors, many of the were dull and worn out, some were open and some were even missing the door and even the hinges. "H-hey... Accalia? Have you been worrying about the others lately?" Accalia looked at him then back to the ground "Yeah, all the time actually." she sighed "Mainly the maiden, I'm always wondering if she is alright." she whined. "I have. I guess its just paranoia getting to me. Maybe I shouldn't think so much. Guys aren't supposed to think anyways." she muffled a laugh and bumped into him playfully and grinned. Accalia turned her gaze to the dog in front of them then back to Kira who had his ears laying flat against he skull and looking at the ground, Accalia whined "Are you alright?" "Everyone gets hurt because of me. Always me. I'm never good enough..." he said quietly but Accalia picked it up. "Kira.." she whined as she nudged his shoulder gently with her nose. She looked away and stopped for a moment then began walking at a slower pace then the other two wondering what could be going through Kira's mind to make him say that.

"Kira.." she whined as she nudged his shoulder gently with her nose. She looked away and stopped for a moment then began walking at a slower pace then the other two. Kira glanced up to meet Dodge's confused glance and quickly put on a temporary smile. The lab rolled his eyes, "Aye... I thought wolves were supposed to be fast." He chuckled before slipping through a cracked open door at the end. The wolf looked up and followed him, blinking when he saw the room in a lot better condition than the rest.
"Nice right?" the dog chuckled proudly. Kira nodded, "I suppose... How come you never told the rest of the pack about this?" "Eh, i can't trust the rats. They'd use this place as a playground you know?" Kira flicked his head to the side. Rats? Hmm.. never heard him call someone that. Kira flicked his ears annoye for an instant, hearing a buzzing noise. He peered around confused and growled low watching a fly go in circles. Must have been that. His ears flicked in annoyance as he glanced back at the dog. Dodge smiled slightly looking at the two wolves, "My, now that i think have it, you two haven't eaten in a while, have you?"
The wolf's stomach growled low hearing the comment and Kira grumbled sighing, "I'm always hungry. They call us wolves for a reason." Kira smirked faintly as he peered over at Accalia to see if she was hungry. "Well, why don't i go out and see if i can find something. I'm indeed starving myself." the dog smiled warmly. The wolf stood up, his mouth watering slightly as if to say yes. "We'll go with! I haven't been out hunting in ages!" Kira bounced in his spot a bit excited. Dodge stared up and down at him strangely," No! You can't bring that kinda food out into the city. The humans will find out your wolves in an instant. This way, it will be safer." Disappointed, Kira sulked down whining quietly, "I know..."
The laborador smiled, "I'll try to be quick. You two might want to catch up so I'll leave you two it." Kira nodded and watched Dodge exit the room. He glanced over at Accalia, wearing a brief smile before leaping onto the mattress to curl up. Kira extended his paws yawning and nudged next to him, "You should come relax. I don't bite... Well, i won't bite you." He grinned slightly before laying his head on his paws. Kira's ears twitched, hearing the almost silent buzzing noise again and growled, "Stupid fly! I'll-" He cut himself off. When he looked up, there wasn't a single fly in the room and the noise had stopped.

Accalia remembered her fight with the Rottweiler and growled, she wished she killed him when she got the chance "Eh, i can't trust the rats. They'd use this place as a playground you know?" A buzzing noise took her attention away from her anger "Stupid fly." she grumbled as she watched it buzz around the room.

Accalia kept her gaze on the wall, she was longing to go to the den and ask the dog what was his deal, "A wolf and a dog? What were they doing out there? And why did he freak out?" she began asking herself questions but not knowing an answer. "You should come relax. I don't bite... Well, i won't bite you." Accalia shook her head "I'm...I'm alright." she wanted to take his kind offer but her nervousness might make him worried and that is the last thing he needs. The same buzzing noise from earlier started up again and she groaned "Dumb fly." "Stupid fly! I'll-" Kira growled, Accalia almost turned around but she stayed facing the wall, then the buzzing stopped "Flies, eh?"

He blinked frowning a bit and shook his head, "I thought it was." Kira let put a sigh, glancing down at Accalia seeing she was still on the floor, mumbling worriedly. His ears flicked to the side before he murmured quietly, "Ok... what's bothering you?" He slid off the bed and padded up to Accalia, nudging her kindly with his muzzle. "Well? I won't leave you alone until you give me some sort of idea. And if you do, I might tell you something you wanted to know." The wolf grinned and plopped down beside the she wolf, bumping into her side curiously.

Accalia turned her head to glance at Kira when he spoke to her "..Nothing." she lied, she was really worried about the old man. She heard the springs in the bed creak as Kira got off the bed and walked over to her then she felt a soft nudge on her shoulder "Well? I won't leave you alone until you give me some sort of idea. And if you do, I might tell you something you wanted to know." Accalia felt Kira bump into her and huffed and bumped him with her shoulder. "It's nothing, really." she yawned "I wouldn't want to bore you with my thoughts." she bumped him with her head humorously. "Do you still think that noble is somewhere in the city? Looking for us.." she whined, the crazed look the noble had in his eye was burned into Accalia's brain. She shook the image from her mind briefly then looked at Kira "So who is your friend?"

"You heard him, we'll be safe down here for now." She looked at Kira curiously, "So, who is your friend?"
"Oh, Dodge?" Kira tilted his head smiling,"Well, I guess he's the newbie of our pack. Erm..." He hesitate, feeling a bit awkward talking about the pack that attacked the she wolf before. He let out a brief sigh, "It's a long story why I'm with them... To put it in short, they honestly saved my life the day i met them." Kira glanced down at his paws uncomfortably whining mildly closing his eyes before shaking his head. Images zipped through his head quickly, including the most recent ones from the pack. He still wondered why Eclipse stood had stood up to the dogs for him.
He shook his head letting go of the thoughts sighing, "Again... I'm sorry about earlier... Not the whole pack is like Max and Axel. The rest only abide by him because no one else feels like standing up." He glanced away flicking his ears. "Dodge said he wanted to change that though. I hope so, 'cause I sure as hell can't." Kira lifted his head to turn towards Accalia. letting loose a small grin. "Besides, it's much more fun to hang out with and annoy you," He bumped into the she wolf again and laughed. "It's a nice feeling. It makes me feel like im starting to slowly get a family again..."
(@Kharaleya Yea, I agree, you should join. A lot of people have applied lately because of our awesomeness and keeping the group alive. X3 And same here. Saturday i stayed up till 4 or 5 watching cn as usual and last night until 3 rping with some random person, so i'm glad i have off school today. x.x)

She quickly jumped back up and crouched down to the ground with a puppish grin on her face "You annoy me? Psh."

Kira tilted his head glancing over as the she wolf jumped backwards and put her fore-paws on the ground. She left her rump in the air with her tail wagging as she growled playfully. He smirked a bit watching and leap up, crouching low to the ground, the same kind of growl coming from him. She finally jumped forward and tackled Kira, gripping his neck scruff. Kira barked and nipped at her ear, shaking his head back and forth playfully. Accalia rolled onto the ground, releasing her playful grip and bounded over to the mattress. He smirked a bit following after but blinked when she tripped and rolled over the mattress and landed on the other side.
"Heh... nice going." He grinned laughing. She quickly jumped back up and crouched down to the ground with a puppish grin on her face "You annoy me? Psh." "That sounds like something I would say." Kira smirked, padding forward as he lept on the mattress also. He bumped annoyingly into Accalia's side repeatedly to mess with her. He laid down for a little bit, but his tail lashed mildly and his posture was fidgety. "Do I annoy you now?" Kira taunted while pawing the she wolf's head over and over laughing. After a bit, he calmed down, releasing a large yawn that was built up in his chest.

Accalia nipped at Kira's ear as he repeatedly bumped into her side, finally he laid down but whipped his tail wildly, his whole body fidgeting as he did so. "Do I annoy you now?" Kira taunted while pawing her head, Accalia smirked "Nope." Finally he calmed down and let out a large yawn. Accalia grinned and jumped onto the bed and laid her fore-paws over Kira's back "It will probably be easier to annoy you." she teased. She pushed more of her body onto him and yawned "Who ever knew that you would be a good pillow?" she laughed as she slid off and laid on her side on the mattress. She yawned again and propped herself upon her elbow and looked at the door "When do you think Dodge will be back?" she kept her gaze on the door "What if your..friends..found him and are asking him where you are?" she looked at him and laid her ears back. "If anything happens to any of you it would be my fault, I'm sure they are trying to find me." she looked at the ground then back to the door. She got up and walked to the door and stuck her head out into the hall, she slowly exited the room and walked down the hall. With her nose to the ground she went into some of the rooms and continued her way down the hall until she came to a set of stairs. She looked back then slowly went up the creaky stairs, she could hear the squeaks of rats so she kept her gaze at her paws. When she reached flat ground she sniffed the air and could smell a sour scent but it was familiar. She growled and stalked forward, the scent was faint so he wasn't inside but he was somewhere close. The carpet felt odd on her paws as she made her way to large window, she could hear voices just on the other side of the window.
She crawled up to the window and lifted her head up and saw the familiar scarred face of the noble and a tall burly man. "Did you find the wolves yet?" the noble hissed "No, sir. But I can tell they're close. I heard them earlier." The noble glared at him "Kill them on sight, but if you are able to bring one or even both alive I will pay you well." Accalia whimpered and kept listening. Suddenly the noble turned to her, his scarred face made Accalia freeze, his eyes burned into hers and her blood ran cold. Then he turned away like he didn't see her, a sigh of relief left her maw and she ran back downstairs. She glanced at Kira then trotted over to him and laid next to him. "..He's out there." she could hear her heart beating in her ears "The noble, and he is looking for us." she whimpered. She kept her eyes staring at the floor with her ears laying against her head "We can't stay here."

"Look, don't be worried. Dodge isn't a pup, he would't answer and he can outrun them.. And not everything is your fault Accalia..." Kira sighed heavily, meeting her eyes briefly, "It would be my fault most likely for dragging the dogs into this and pissing off the noble. But we are in this together. I won't let anything happen to you, trust me." Unusually, the wolf wore a friendly bright smile. Accalia looked at the ground then back to the door. She got up and padded to the door, sticking her head out into the hall before slowly exiting the room and down the hall. Kira sighed as she vanished, staying plopped down on the bed. He stared around, clawing his paws deep into the mattress in thought.
What if she is right? Dodge has been gone for a long time... No, he has to be perfectly fine. maybe he just can't find food around here. He sighed quietly,deep in thought when his ears perked detecting faint muffled voices. He tilted his head and padded to the door but yelped in alarm when Accalia skidded in the doorway. "He's out there." she whined worriedly. Kira tilted his head, "Dodge is?" "The noble, and he is looking for us." she whimpered. Kira froze, his eyes widening, pawing the ground nervously. Accalia kept her eyes staring at the floor with her ears laying against her head, "We can't stay here." The wolf nodded frowning, "Well, where do we go? I'm not familiar here. What if there isn't another exit?" Despite his whining, Kira charged in the opposite direction he heard the voices, searching around, hoping for an escape.
He searched the rooms and down the hall and began to become worried. What if there isn't an escape? Will we have to fend of the noble again? Kira frowned, staring at Accalia, "We're underground. There's no windows to escape out of. How can we possibly escape?" Kira whimpered quietly, "We may be able to hide in one of the rooms somewhere, but I think thats our only option. Unless of course, you find a way out."

She stood up and walked around the room aimlessly with her eyes looking at the odd carpeting "They sure chose an ugly design." she stopped and pawed at the ground before moving along. "We're underground. There's no windows to escape out of. How can we possibly escape?" Kira whimpered, Accalia looked at him, her eyes were dull and tired "..I don't know.." she said quietly. "We may be able to hide in one of the rooms somewhere, but I think that's our only option. Unless of course, you find a way out." Accalia shook her head and padded to the doorway and sat down.
She perked her ears as foot-steps could be heard overhead, she could also hear voices but they were too hushed to hear "Kira!" she whispered as she quietly ran towards him. "We gotta hide." she whispered she didn't know who was up there nor did she care she just knew they would have to hide. She trotted around the room and saw a partially opened closet, she jumped over to it and nudged it open with her nose. She almost yelped in surprise when a broom fell from the closet and hit the floor and making a loud bang sound. The steps upstairs stopped and their voices became more quieter and sped up "Dammit." she stepped into the closet and looked at Kira "Come on!" she waited for him before grabbing the rag that was tied to the handle and pulling it shut. She heard two sets of footsteps make their way down the stairs, she gulped and kept her ears alert, not wanting to be surprised.

Kira's ears perked to the sound of footsteps and quiet chattering approaching them and shuffled his paws nervously whining. "Kira!" he heard Accalia whisper softly. He glanced over seeing her quietly run over to him. "We gotta hide." The wolf nodded in agreement,"But where?" His gaze moved around the room trying to think, but his concentration was broken when he heard a loud bang. Kira, paranoid and frightened by the noise of a fallen broom, jumped and let a loose yelp escape him. He pawed over his mouth whispering an apology and looked up hearing the she wolf again. "Dammit." she stepped into the closet and looked at Kira "Come on!" He blinked and rushed inside, trying to stay light on his toes. Accalia then grabbed the rag that was tied to the handle, like Dodge had done earlier, and pulled the closet door shut.
The two heard two sets of footsteps make their way down the stairs. Kira glanced over seeing the she wolf gulp and keep her ears alert. Kira trembled himself unnervingly. Almost inaudibly, he whispered,"If they find us in here, you need to make a run for it. I should be able to distract them long enough. We can not fight them off again. " He heard the light foot steps getting ever nearer and whispered more quickly,"Trust me on this. We are in this together." His paws twinged nervously, his ears flat against his skull as he awaited cautiously for the footsteps, prepared for anything that my happen.

"If they find us in here, you need to make a run for it. I should be able to distract them long enough. We can not fight them off again." Accalia growled "We stay together!" she whispered, the footsteps stopped, Accalia couldn't tell where but she knew they did. She lowered her head and stared at the floor of the closet, the footsteps started again but they were getting closer. Accalia whined then looked at Kira "Trust me on this. We are in this together." Accalia looked at him, she knew he had a bad leg, he wouldn't be able to take on two people by himself. She lifted her head "I know what I have to do." she said to herself as she took in a deep breath. Soon the steps were right outside the closet, she looked at Kira with a saddened smiled on her face, she nudged his shoulder softly "See you later." She jumped from the closet with her teeth bared, she saw the man from before and another younger man, she slammed her body against the closet so that it wouldn't pop open. "There it is!" a bullet whizzed passed her, she looked at him and growled before running out of the room and down the hall.
The rushed steps of the two men were heard as she ran, she kept a steady pace so that would keep chasing her and not go back looking for Kira. She ran up the stairs and through the lobby, angered shouts came from the oldest of the two as she exited the building and burst out onto the street. She yelped when she was lifted up by her scruff, soon she was face to face with the noble, his ugly scarred face was burned into her mind. "Now who so we have here? You're the wolf who bit me earlier aren't you? You damaged my armor, you mutt!" he slammed her onto the ground but kept his firm grip. Accalia yelped as he lifted her back up "Now what to do with you." Accalia remembered how Kira had slashed the noble's face before, "Here goes nothing." she said quietly, then she dragged her claws across the noble's face. The noble yelled in pain and dropped her onto the ground, she lay there for a moment as the pain from his first assault began to grow.
He glared at her with one hand over his wound "Why you.." he slammed his foot down but missed by a hair, Accalia jumped up and ran down the street. She could hear the noble yelling at the two men, she hoped they didn't go back after Kira. She turned down an alley and jumped into a pile of old papers, she kept her eyes on the road and waited.

The steps were right outside the closet. Kira moved a bit, ready to dart out of the closet. He blinked and glanced over at the she wolf, feeling her brush against his shoulder, "See you later." To his surprised, Accalia jumped from the closet with her teeth bared first, The wolf was about the follow her lead but the door slammed shut. Kira gave a confused expression and scratched the door. What is she doing?! He whined to himself in thought. "There it is!" he heard on the other side of the door as a bullet's echo scared Kira nearly half to death. He blinked when the bullet was stuck half way through the door. His ears perked hearing Accalia growl and soon after, the voices and footsteps silenced. Kira peered out of the closet, cracking the door a smudge open.
"Ugh. I told her to let ME take care of them," Kira paced a bit angrily as he looked around. He grimaced a bit, unsure of what to do now. I can't follow her out. Those idiots will see me... Damn. Kira quickly darted around the building, keeping light on his feet. Room after room he searched for some sort of exit, but found nothing. As he padded towards the last room in the hall, his ears perked. He glanced in the direction, hearing the noise get closer. F-footprints? The wolf let out a low whine before jolting into the room silently. He searched the room desperately and his mood perked up. "A vent. If I can open it, I can get out of here home free," he whispered to himself in thought. A speck of hope flooded back into him as he approached the ventalation. The hollow footsteps began to trail nearer though. The wolf held his breath and rushed over to the vent.
His jaws clamped tightly around the edge of the cover as he tried to yank it off. Kira flinched hearing the footsteps start to close in and pulled harder, locking his claws in the carpet. With one last yank, the cover snapped off and the wolf yelped rolling backwards. The metal cover clashed against the wall, causing a loud thud. Kira flinched and dart for the now open vent. He quickly weaseled his way inside but halted. A series of whines escaped his muzzled as a firm grip on his tail pulled him back into the room. He turned back, seeing an unfamiliar older man gripping his tail and by instinct, snapped at his hand, grazing his fangs deep from his wrist to his fingertips. Kira smirked a bit and turned back but was struck by a deafening echo.
He clenched his jaws angrily, feeling a pain shoot in his neck. Kira yanked out the tranquilizer dart in his neck and glance behind him, feeling light headed and dizzy. Numbness struck hard through his body and he couldn't do anything but watch the two blurry figures above him. His eyes began to close. The wolf struggled to fight off his weariness. He panted heavily although he felt his jaws be restrained tightly by some sort of metal lock. As he felt his body being dragged across the ground, he whined and slowly drifted into unconsciousness.

Accalia heard footsteps getting closer, her heart began to race, then the noble and the hunters ran past the alley. A sigh of relief left her maw as she slowly stood up, she shok the wrinkled paper out of her pelt and trotted into the street. Using her illusion her blue haired 'form' ran down the street and to the abandoned hotel, she peered over her shoulder to make sure no one was watching then quickly pushed herself in. Not dropping her illusion, she ran through the old dark lobby and down the set of stairs leading to the spare rooms. She was about to call Kira until she saw two men dragging his limp form out from the room. She gasped and hid behind a beam "Hear that?" Accalia held her breath "Be quiet mouse brain, let's get out of here." Accalia let out a breath of relief before following their trail outside.
She watched as they loaded Kira into a cage, she began to panic, at the last minute she ran out "Oh my goodness! Thank the gods you founds him!" The men spun around in confusion. "Huh? What's going on here?" Accalia just let the words leave her mouth "You found Max!" she ran over to the cage and grabbed the bars "He is my dog." she looked at them, her eyes growing large, a small tear slid down her cheek "I have been looking for him for ages!" The men looked at each other, obviously stumped "Ma'am, this is your dog?" Accalia nodded her head vigorously "And you're sure?" Accalia let her 'crocodile' tears flow "Yes! He is my beloved friend and I missed him dearly." She wiped away the wetness from her cheeks "I'll pay you!" she began to dig in her empty pockets "That won't be necessary." the younger of the two said as the other glared at him, they must need the money.
Accalia smiled "Oh gosh, thank you!" She backed away to let the man unlock the cage, Accalia jumped forward and attempted to pick up Kira, she almost fell over at his weight "He is pretty heavy" she admitted. The man stood tall "I got him." he said proudly as he tried to pick him up, with a gasp he lifted Kira off the metal surface and laid him on the ground. "Once again, Thank you." The man winked at her "Anytime." Accalia waited for the men to drive off before grabbing Kira by the scruff and dragging him into another alley, she heaved him behind a dumpster and plopped down. "You need to lay off the rabbit." she said to herself, she looked at him, her illusion's blue hair blowing gently in the breeze. She looked at her friend and poked him "Are you awake yet?" her blue eyes looked curiously at his limp body.

They waited for the men to drive off before grabbing Kira by the scruff and dragging him into another alley. He remained still feeling weak from earlier. "You need to lay off the rabbit." she muttered, looking at him. Kira grinned faintly mumbling, silently. The she wolf looked at her friend and poked him "Are you awake yet?" Kira jumped a bit from the poke and sat up slowly yawning,"Yea. Now I am... And I'm not that heavy." The wolf rolled his eyes and shook out his dusty fur.
He glanced back up at Accalia and tilted his head smiling a bit. Her illusion's sky blue hair blew gently in the breeze and her dazzling sapphire stare was still locked on him. The wolf winced before shuffling his paws nervously, stuttering his speech, "I-I never noticed your... h-hair and eyes were..." The wolf stammered a bit embarrassed, turning away when his face got a touch rosy," s-such a brilliant blue." Kira's speech became a bit more fluent once saying the very rare thing he called a compliment, "I've always wanted blue eyes. They look so innocent. But instead, im stuck with dirt colored eyes, dirt colored fur, dirt colored everything." His dusky honey hued gaze fell back onto the alley's ground before letting out a dorky snort simultaneously ,"But what the hell am I blabbering about? I ain't innocent."
Kira stretched a bit more, extending his paws across the cobble ground. Overbearingly, he arched his back downwards to the floor and let out an obnoxious yawn yet again. The wolf pawed over his right ear, scratching it before smiling, "Anyways, thanks for what you did back there. I would have been minced meat." He padded over and sat right next to Accalia, using his illusion reluctantly, "I keep forgetting I can disguise myself as a human. Hmph. I'm not much of a thinker, am I?" he laughed softly staring up at the star filled night sky. Kira rested his head against the back of the alley wall, going into thought. He bites his lip nervously and worriedly before proceeding to talk.
"You know, it seems like its been months since we have seen Kaze and the maiden. D-do you think they left without us?" His voice lowered a bit softer having a touch of a sad tone, "You did say only would made it to paradise last time... What if it's Kaze this time? And if we are like the other wolves, then, does that mean..." He paused frowning, seeming paranoid about the subject. The wolf closed his eyes shaking his head, "It's not like i contributed much when we, but more like you two, freed the maiden in the first place. All I did was run towards the noble, Leeroy Jenkins style. The only thing i'm good at is having a brusque temper and acting brutish. I'm sure they could use your wits like before." He heaved a heavy sigh, looking back to the star canopy above them. "Maybe i'm over thinking everything. I want to believe that everything will be alright, but everything has been so confusing lately. I wish I could just wish on a star and let it drown away all the worries I have."
(Oh, I completely understand then. Moving sucks. :/ I didn't have wifi for nearly a month when we moved and i almost lost it lol. And I like your siggy. Do you play it often?)

Accalia stood up in a defensive stance "Get a move on!" she ordered "Feisty aren't we?" Accalia's eye twitched.
One of the men jumped at her but she was quick to react and slammed him into the wall, she could hear the rushed and clumsy steps of the other two, she spun around but was grabbed by the throat. The man had a wicked gleam in his eye as he stared at her, Accalia growled and kicked him away. She backed away towards the street, she glanced at Kira then spun around and ran down the street. She could hear the men stumbling behind her and laughed slightly before darted off to the side and onto a side street. The steps were coming closer "Where?" her gaze darted left and right until she saw a ladder leading up the side of an apartment building "Bingo." She hurriedly climbed up, once she reached a flat surface she pulled up the ladder and crouched down. All three of the men stumbled onto the street, it only took a moment for them to spot her "Come down here!" one of them commanded. "When I'm dead!" she snapped. She stayed up there and watched the men fumble around, she sighed and plopped onto her rump.

I was going through a tough time, and I was into other things besides Wolf's rain that cheered me up, if that makes sense. Even so, I shouldn't have abandoned it like that, and I feel bad for letting it die.
However...! Im willing to revive it if you all are? :) I see some lovey-dovey feelings developing; that'll be fun to have in the rp. ;) And some new applications. I believe we can keep this thing going to the end if everyone's still into it.

I really hope FusedHearts comes back too. :( It looks like you two are the only ones left. If none of the people who had WIP applications say anything within the next few days, I'm just going to add in another male wolf character that I've made, cut the flow of wolf characters, and just have those four wolves be the main ones in the story. It'd even out the gender ratio, too; the other members with wolves have been quiet enough that I'm gonna consider them out of the Rp for now, but if they wanna come back, that'd be ok. c:
I won't accept any more wolf hunters, either; if the ones we have (besides Jenica) are inactive, then we'll just have one. Even before the rp died, they didn't see much action.

(Yea, I think that's a good idea :D I'm just gonna continue from where we left off because i have no idea where else to start.)
Kira glanced over, his ears detecting the annoying blabbering of the drunk group passing them. His ears pinned against against his skull, glaring at them in distaste. Great... Why do I have the feeling these guys are some retarded- "Fools,"Accalia had growled, reluctantly finishing his thought. Kira sat up, arching his sore back much like a cat does and growled through mumbles, flashing his fangs. This seemed to do nothing though since the two were in utter darkness. The paleness of the she wolf's illusion was enough to capture the attention of one of them out of the corner of his droopy eye. "Hey there pretty lady," 'it' spoke with a distinct tinge of loopiness in his voice. The other two young males now had turned to look as well. Luckily, there wasn't any eyes on him, or a single question about what Accalia had been doing with a dog. "Utter morons..." Kira mouthed quietly so they couldn't here, "Either blind or have totally lost it. Intoxication will do that to you." Accalia stood up in a defensive stance "Get a move on!" she ordered . The guy only smirked,"Feisty aren't we?" Accalia's eye twitched in annoyance and the gesture spread automatically to the agitated would beside her like a wild forest fire.
"Look buddy," the wolf began, still shrouded in shadows thanks to his dark rusty pelt, "You're messing with the same crowd. You wanna keep going with this whole drunk pervert thing? Fine! But don't be surprised if you wake up with your heart torn out of you." He shifted into his human illusion to avoid arousing suspicious and started down the men. Without warning, one of the men jumped at Accalia before he could react. She was quick though and slammed him into the wall. Kira blinked and growled mildly, hearing the rushed, clumsy steps of the other two down the alley. Accalia spun around but was grabbed by the throat. The man had a wicked gleam in his eye as he stared at her. Kira glared back at him and punched him upside his head while he was distracted. As he cringed in pain for the brief moment, Accalia growled and kicked him away, before backing away towards the streets. Her eyes fell upon Kira before darting on down the street. The men stumbled behind her in pursuit, laughing hysterically and he pursued her as well. "Idiots... They probably think this is all a game. Why do some guys have to be such idiots and ruin our reputation?"
He darted down the street, feeling rage overwhelm him the farther they ran. The men suddenly stopped to look up at something but Kira took the opportunity. "I got you now!" he growled, showcasing his canine habits as he crashed into the one that flirted with Accalia and knocked him senseless to the ground with a hard lunge. He impaled yet another hard punch into the pervert's face, glaring at him with malice. It took the other two a few seconds to register what was going on before they gripped both of Kira's arms, hoisting him up, and tossing him aside and off their friend. He quickly rolled on his side and let gravity help him into a kneeling position before recovering his stance. "Where's Accalia?" he growled at the men. Simultaneously, they all looked back up where they were staring before, but no one said a word. The wolf followed there gaze thinking, Hiding up there I guess. I can't believe i'm going to do this but i should lead them away from- His concentration was broken by the giant hand vice clenched around his neck. His eyes widened as he felt the other two kicking and socking him enjoyably while laughing. A bit of blood dripped from him as he snarled trying to get away, but the hole was too tight on him. No... This isn't the time to be weak... Kira growled at himself and thrashed around. He glanced around trying to think of what to do but then he just listened too his instincts. Oddly enough, he caught the tip of one of their shoes in his mouth and snarled angrily, twisting his head to make him snap his ankle. The man's injuries were not that bad, but it was enough to distract them long enough to weasel out of the burly man's grip. When they looked up, Kira was gone from sight. In hopes of finding him, they raced down the sidewalk searching around.
Thank god... Kira thought, slipping out from behind one of the nearby dumpsters he scurried behind. He smirked triumphantly and traced back, being cautious not to be spotted by anyone. The wolf curved into the alley below where the men were staring. Hmm... How could she have got up there? He looks around and his eyes sparkle seeing the ladder. Kira stepped forward and latched his hands on one of the metal bars, prodding himself as he started to climb. Once he neared the stop, he could feel the aftermath of the beating in an avalanche of pain. Man. Gotta admit, they got me good. He reached the top of the building and flopped over the ladder, laying down while coughing, "I, really hate guys like that."

Accalia
Accalia jumped up and saw Kira below here fighting the drunken fools "Kira!" she barked, she jumped up and placed her paws on the railing. She let out small whines as the men began to pummel Kira down. This only went on for a few seconds before Kira fought them off, chasing them away. Accalia watched him look around until he looked up, she wagged her tail and waited for him to come up to her perch. She waited of him to come up "Are you okay?" she said with a worried look in her eyes "I could have beat them down myself." she teased, she gave him a quick hug then yawned. She grinned while she bumped into him "I was just a little tired." she laughed. She looked up at the twinkling sky then yawned, she began walking towards a set of stairs leading up to the roof "Let's go up here." she jumped up the stairs then landed onto the gravel covered roof. She sniffed the air expecting to smell the scent of the maiden, but it was gone.
She perked her ears then began running to the sides of the roof and leaning over to sniff the air, she looked like a hound dog. "Kira!" she sniffed the air again "The smell. It's gone." she whined, what if something happened to her? Then a thought entered her mind, what if she and Kaze left the city to escape the nobles? Yes! It made perfect sense! She began wagging her tail rapidly, Kaze had escaped with the maiden, she was sure of it. She charged over to Kira, ramming into him "We gotta get outta here!" she yipped "Let's go!" she bounded towards the fire escape and charged down the stairs and down the ladder. She fell into the snow when she landed, but this didn't faze her. She jumped up and looked over to Kira "Come on!" she said with a large smile on her face, a puppish sort of energy came over her body, was it the joy of knowing Kaze and the maiden were safe? It was unknown. She romped over to Kira then crouched down then jumped at him, then she spun around and ran down the street and out of the city.

"Are you okay?" she said with a worried look in her eyes. Kira coughed a bit then nodded smirking, "Just an average day's work protecting a damsel." "I could have beat them down myself." she teased as he snorted laughing, "Right..." She gave him a quick hug, which surprised him then yawned. "I was just a little tired," She grinned while she bumped into Kira as she laughed. He yawned after and rolled his eyes, "Well don't be. You're contagious." He smirked pushing the she wolf back. Kira laid back and glanced up at the sky in thought. I still don't understand how I got to be this close and comfortable with someone else, but I guess I shouldn't complain. We've been through a lot. I only wish that we could have all stayed together... He shook his head sighing and looked up, hearing Accalia's vice drowned out by his thoughts as she began walking towards a set of stairs leading to the roof. The she wolf leaped up the stairs, disappearing on the roof. Kira shrugged and rose himself back up slowly, catching up to join her. He was a bit confused as he watched Accalia sniff the air, showing a worried face, fidgeting around to catch a scent like a blood hound.
"What is it?" He asked, doing the same and blinking. What's wrong with the air? It feels so cold without that usual comforting feel. Then it dawned on him."Kira! The smell. It's gone." she whined. His eyes widened, "Does that mean... the maiden is..." The wolf tilted his head in confusion as she wagged hr tail happily, charging over the Kira and ramming into him,"We gotta get outta here!" she yipped "Let's go!" "Hey wait, go where? What about the scent?" The conflicting emotions she had shown scrambled his mind even more confused. Regardless, he continued to follow. Accalia bounded towards the fire escape and charged down the stairs and down the ladder. She fell into the snow when she landed, but this didn't faze her. Kira struggled a bit to keep up and dropped his illusion in the process, "Come on, wait a little!" he panted a bit irritated that he couldn't keep up.She looked over to Kira, repeating his first sentence, "Come on!" The she wolf wore a large puppy smile on her face. "Can't you at least tell me what's going on?" he muttered, staring at her and flicking his ears, "And remind me to never give you sugar. You're crazy when your hyper." He smirked slightly, finally catching up to Accalia, bumping into her while running.

Accalia
Accalia's fur tingled as she ran, she knew the maiden and Kaze were safe. The scent was coming from a city that was about two days walk, Accalia couldn't think of the name of it. Soon her pace began to slow, it had been a long day "Let's have a rest." she yawned. She didn't bother finding a place sheltered from the slowly falling snow, she just plopped down where she stood. The powdery snow comforted her tired body, if felt almost as good as nest in a den. Her brain kept telling her to keep going, but her body was drained of it's energy, sleep would have to come first. She looked over to Kira "Are you tired?" she said as she laid her chin on her paws, their day had been eventful. Finally, she closed her eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.

Kira twitched his paws, beginning to feel weary from the long run after Accalia. Why is she so excited? He couldn't understand it, but he would have felt out of place to question her thinking. He skidded to a halt as he watched the she wolf slow her racing past. The sugar must have worn off, he smirks to himself, though he was relieved himself that they stopped. "Let's have a rest," she yawned, plopping down in her spot. Kira raised an eyebrow laughing, "I was right. You're on the verge of crashing aren't you? You can hardly keep your eyes open." He padded closer, bumping her side playfully. "Are you tired?" she said as she laid her chin on her paws. "Not as tired at you look. I'm not quite tired, but you should get some beauty sleep." The wolf sat down, a bit away from Accalia and gazed at her with soft eyes as she drifted to sleep. He breathed in a heavy sigh as he lifted his head yet again to examine the snowy wasteland they were stranded in. Head laying on his shoulder, and his eyes gradually becoming fuzzier, Kira struggled to stay awake. His eyes were looked in the direction he could sense another city far up ahead. He bit his lip, something worrying him, but he couldn't place his paw on it. The feeling gave him an uncomfortable feeling and dragged him away from sleep though he was drowsy. Finally, he felt that he had to lay down and lowered his belly to the snow, curling on his side. Kira examined the snow covered Accalia, smiling seeing she seemed relaxed in her resting state. For some reason, his memory rambled on about their past experiences and her determination during then. He shook his head murmuring to himself, "It doesn't matter what already happened in the past. Being as afraid as I am, I just can't back down. I have to be like her. Somehow... I need to be that determined." Kira lowers his head, laying in the pillows of sleep and soon set aside his worry, drifting into a silent slumber.

Accalia
It was only a matter of time before her need to reach the maiden woke her from her much needed sleep. She slowly raised her head to look around, she saw Kira sleeping, who had a snowy blanket "We should get going." she yawned as she stood up to shake the snow from her pelt. The snow had begun to fall a little harder now but nothing to terrible, she looked over to Kira again then walked over "Wake up sleepy head." she laughed as she rolled him over. She gave him a moment to wake up then began walking to the distant city, then she remembered what the city was called "Waren." She looked back at him "We're going to Waren, Kaze and the maiden must be there."
The deep snow consumed her legs as she trudged through it "This damn snow is going to make it longer to get there." she growled as she pushed her way through. The thought of being away from the maiden any longer agitated her. Her agitated mind made her forget how hungry she was, but she was quickly reminded by the loud growl coming from her stomach "I guess I'm hungry." she chuckled "Are you?" she turned to Kira. She awaited his answer then looked around, they were in the middle of nowhere, no trees or any vegetation "Let's just keep moving. The sooner the better." The whirling snow began to thicken and make visibility difficult "Stay close." she barked over to Kira "Last thing we need is to lose each other." With her ears laid flat against her skull she pushed forward, the strong icy winds made her eyes sting. Even with the wind and snow the faint smell of lunar flowers reached her nostrils "We're almost there!" she howled. Excitement filled her veins "Let's hurry!" she said as she ran forward. She could see the faint shines of lights in the distance "This must be the place." she grinned. Her body was full of excitement and determination as she went, nothing could stop her now. The smell was much stronger now "Kira, we're so close." she said with a large smile on her face. The city was starting to come into view, it looked better than Freeze city. Realizing they were nearing the city she put up her illusion, she slowed her pace to a fast walk, not wanting to draw too much attention.
Finally, they entered the city. Not many people were out, it was late and many of them were tucked in their beds. Only a few were out and about, doing who knows what. The smell of the maiden was really strong here "They have to be here." She began investigating, she peeked through the windows of buildings they passed. Often letting out a curse word here and there "Where are they?" Finally they came upon an old hotel building, the smell of lunar flowers was even stronger here. "She's in here." she called to Kira. She didn't waste any time, she darted in to find the maiden.

"Wake up sleepy head," Accalia rolled Kira over, laughing, knowing he wasn't a morning person. "Five more minutes... i mean ten... no wait, thirty." The wolf smirked in his sleep, obviously still enjoying laying around lazily. He refused to get up until he heard the she wolf's voice yet again, "Waren." Kira's ears perked slightly as he stared up at her, murmuring inaudibly, "Waren?" She looked back at him "We're going to Waren, Kaze and the maiden must be there." As soon as the mention of the two, the wolf sprang up having a shot of eagerness drive through him, "Seriously? They're there?" He trailed after Accalia anxiously, getting greeted by thick showers of snow. Some snow even managed to get caught in his throat. He choked it up, squinting in attempt to see straight. As the two wolves continued, their legs became engulfed in snow, slowing the pace tremendously. "Gosh. This is ridiculous!" Kira shook out his pelt, a bit infuriated that a layer of snow came on top of him every second. "This damn snow is going to make it longer to get there." she growled as she pushed her way through. He sighed nodding, "We can't stop though. We'll just fall further behind them." Accalia nodded and paused as a loud growl came from her stomach "I guess I'm hungry." she chuckled "Are you?" He smirked, "You know me by now... I nearly always am." He searched around, hoping to see anything that they would snack on, but there was nothing. The wolf sulked whining when he realized this. "Man... there's nothing here, "He uttered sighing. "Let's just keep moving. The sooner the better." The whirling snow began to thicken and make visibility even more difficult "Stay close," the she wolf barked over to Kira "Last thing we need is to lose each other." He nodded, running up next to her as quick as he could and joined her at her side.
Are we there yet? he pestered himself with the thought in his mind. Kira swored there was icicles handing off his eyelids, keeping them frozen open and that the snow had actually bleached his fur the same icy white color. He huffed another sigh, groaning and pinned his ears back. The strong wind mad him feel like he was being pushed back two paws lengths ever step he took. Finally, as he was ready to collapse, something familiar greeted him. The scent? He shook his head in disbelief and glanced over to hear Accalia's excited howl,"We're almost there. Let's hurry!" she said as she ran forward. Kira smirked, satisfied and charged on through te dense snow. the closer he got to the shimmering lights of the city, the lighter he felt the snow get. The city was starting to come into view. Accalia put up her illusion and slowed her pace to a walk. She must be trying to keep away attention. Kira mimicked her actions, but couldn't help but walk a lot faster. Finally, they entered the city. Not many people were out in the late hour. Kira tilted his head, "This place looks a lot... well better than back home." "This must be the place," she grinned, proceeding on happily. The smell of the maiden was really strong here "They have to be here." She began investigating, peeking through the windows of buildings as they passed. Accalia kept cursing when there was no luck finding them, "Where are they?" He looked forward towards a hotel, with his eyes a bit narrowed. He didn't bother to look in the windows; the scent coming form the hotel was vaguely familiar. He darted closer, soon joined by the she wolf that confirmed his suspicion. "She's in here," she called to Kira. He nodded and immediately darted in, searching around while trying the least bit to stay casual.
