Okay I download GIMP, and when I open it and put a screenshot (FH) in it, But I dont understand how to make the background black and make big letters. (Sorry if this confusing)
-
First, when you open it, make sure it's on RGB Color. Then there should be a paint can in the Toolbox that should pop up. Change the color to black and then you can make the background back -- But if it's FH you might want to use regular old paint brush because the paint filler only fills that section of whatever it is. They're should also be a Text option in the toolbox you can press. c: Good luck!

I'm just adding to what Kiri said about the paint can tool. c:
As said, it only fills in a section, so to make the background black, you may want to press U and use the Fuzzy select tool. Just click on the area that's supposed to be black, and it will select a portion of it. Then press shift and keep clicking all around until everything but the character is selected, and then just paint it in black.

Another (slightly easier) way, is to take the lasso tool, (press F) and draw a bubble cut line around your character,

And then it will select it, like this

Now press U, and then hold down shift, and click in some areas in the bubble to add them to the selection, like this,

Once you've gotten everything but the character selected, you can paint it in black;

Hope that helps a bit. c:

Thanks guys ;) Another question.. I do I put fancy letters? (Like DoctorFlob..)
-
Fancy letters can be painted on, just by taking the paintbrush tool and writing them, or they can be a font that you download.

Ruby, your first post is making me confused... :/
