I'm making a map for someone and it was going great but the low-lying moorlands would get flooded if I used the ocean to fill the river of the normal part of the map, so I used water instead of ocean.
PROBLEM: When I tested the map, instead of you swimming in the water, my character falls through in and can just walk around, as if on land. I really want to finish this request so people won't think I was just tricking them to get their hopes up ): plz help

If you use waterplanes and not the ocean function, the water has a limit to the size of where the swimming collisions work, not sure what it was, but maybe 3.000? If it's any bigger you might just fall through it.
If you want big water areas make several "new water" functions, or stick with an ocean for most of it.
I do believe this is your problem, not sure though.

That might be my problem, them map is at least 20000 (30000...?) in size with rivers and curve and stuff so I used one giant water plane that was about 7000 in size -_-"
I'll go try making it smaller

You can make several water plans for each area where you want water that are different sizes. Just thought of adding that in, instead of one big waterplane.

I got it to work by using several water planes, gladly, it didn't make the map too laggy. thx :)
