Title: No map?

So, I'm playing this game for the first time, but I think I'm doing something wrong...
I installed the game and made my first character, but when I click "Start" it puts my character onto an empty map, I guess.  Just a black world that I can run around in.  I'll feel stupid for asking, but do I have to pick a map or something?  I can't find the option, and my searching for a solution has been fruitless,

Which have you downloaded, FH+ or FH?

Press the 'B' on your keyboard, then 'home', then press 'go home', see if that works.

I tried both, and played with all the options in both to try to make this work...  I created my character with FH+ though.
My home seems to be set to nothing, and clicking the button to go home shows an error, something like "Can't load map"

If you created your character FH+, that'd probably be your problem.
