Title: Blackness???

I'm a newbie on FeralHeart and I've downloaded the game. I've created my character and click play, all I see is black and my character! I've tried clicking the "set home" and "reset home" a dozen times. And when I click "go home" it says that it can't find the map file! I've tried it on both FeralHeart and FeralHeart+. I don't know what's going on, please help!  :'(

It's FH+ which has a ton of bugs. Try deleting FeralHeart+ and see what happens. You can also try re-installing/re-downloading FH

I suppose there could be two reasons for this...

I personally do not suggest getting FerealHeart+ at all, due to glitches and what not that can occur.

The blackness could also be caused by a glitch with ogre.
This is if the adverts for ogre do not show up when you launch the game.
If you're running OpenGL, switch to DirectX9.
If you're running DirectX9, try OpenGL.

FH + user, I'm guessing? That's a very common glitch. FH + has a lot of bugs, and I would say it isn't worth it. If it's regular FH, try redownloading.

But this is happening on both FeralHearts! I don't get why it won't let me go home!

Did you try redownloading? You might be missing a file.

Chances are that you have downloaded the wrong Feral Heart. There is a huge difference between Feral Heart and FH+. You need to download the regular Feral Heart game in order to really play.

If you want to use FH+, you need to send a character to Bonfire Island and then log off, and then log in the FH+ version.

No, this seriously happened on both FeralHeart AND FeralHeart+!!! I want to know how to work the home!

Delete/uninstall FH+ then re-install/re-download FH try that and see if it fixes your black screen.

Okay just say that ;)

Step:

1.Log into to game
2. Click 'b' on your keyboard
3. Go where it says 'Home
4. Click it
5. (It would say a title name) If you dont see "Lonely Cave" reset home
6. It would take you to Lonely Cave
7. Finally click 'Go home'

Get rid of feral heart +, that game is pretty much useless right now, when you uninstall feral heart make sure you delete all the folders left behind and then re download it.
