Title: How do y'all paste things into items.cfg and markings.cfg? O^O

You know how people post things in 'read me's' when you download stuff that says 'copy this into items.cfg' or 'markings.cfg'? Well....how do y'all do it :o

Well, after you isolate your exports file that you are going to compress, you open notepad and type manually what needs to go where. Then you save that file in the exports file as "Read Me" and when you compress and upload it to a share site, the file will turn up with the download for other people to read. :)

I believe you need to right-click the .cfg file and choose the option "Open With" then select the option Notepad, that program should already be installed on your computer. Otherwise you can download it from google ;)
Right-click>> Open With>> Notepad

You may have to click "Choose default program" and find it.

Yup, do excatly what Ingredient said, then if its a pice of paper that has lines on it (Which it should, if not then I have no idea what to do) Then copy and paste what ever you need ^^

But,I have a laptop..there isnt a 'open with'option on it and the vid didnt make sense cuz everything on it looked different..

You're using Windows then? Do you know which one? Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows 2000 for example.

I have an Acer as well.I belive it would be Windows7 then, but mabey its different for every style.But I dont know.

Do you only have the "Open" option then? Click Open and you should get a box like this:

Select the last option, "Select a program from a list of installed programs" and you should see this:

The program "Notepad" should be there. Otherwise you'll have to click that "Browse" button and search your computer for the icon ;)

It says 'access is deinied' when I try to save it after I paste the code-thingy into it :o

It shouldn't do that :c Is your Feralheart located in your Local Disk Drive (C:)? Or is it in those "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)" folders within (C:)?

After pasting it into the Feralheart one try copying the whole lot all together and make a new Items.cfg file. After copying the text inside the .cfg file, delete the file and open a new Notepad window then paste the text in that. Go "File>>Save as" name it Items.cfg, not Items.cfg.txt and save it in the Feralheart folder. Hopefully that might work.

It showed the name of the item I was trying to get in the preset maker but when I put it on it didn't show O^O other items worrked though XP
