I watch upon the ground,
Your feet treading away,
Growing smaller by each blurring second,
Seeming each as an minute,
And each minute as though an hour.
I feel my heart beep slow,
And heavy....
I watch the licking flames around me as my vision begins to darken,
And I think to myself,
Could you truly leave me behind so easily?
