I had a few custom maps made for me, and also downloaded some others, on my old computer. The user that did them for me quiet FeralHeart since then and deleted his or her account. I copied the files from my old PC to my new one, which is way faster and more advanced. The maps aren't showing up ingame, however. Before, they were in the media file under maps, which is where they are now. They worked on my old computer but not this one.
Also, will FH files work from the D drive on my laptop, or do they need to be in C drive?

Not 100% sure but the game should still work in your D drive. (someone else could verify that for you I'm sure)
As for your maps though-
You install downloaded maps like so:
1.) Follow the "read me" file if there is one and place the files in the places where it says or just place all the files into the "Exports" folder
OR
If placing the map files into the Feral Heart "Exports" folder didn't make it work right than try placing the files as so:
FHM files go into FH>Media>Terrains
FHO files go into FH>Media>Objects
FHS/FHW go into FH>Media>Sky
Mp3 files go into FH>Media>Sounds/Music
Then restart the game
Hope that helps :)

Where would the .cfg files go?
-
(.cfg files go in the main FeralHeart folder.
Sort of like the place that shows you the icons for media, screenshots, presets, etc. . .

Where do mesh and material type files go?
-
You shouldn't have all those files ... how long ago did this person make the map for you?

Where do mesh and material type files go?
Most maps don't come with files like those unless it's to make certain objects show. I would place .mesh files into your my_objects folder, if the .material file is for the mesh then you should place that also in the my_objects folder ;)
