Title: Making maps

help I'm making a map and I'm a mac player I did everything needed for the heights greyscale and such but when I type it in to the worlds thing it say 'file name can not be found'. SOME ONE HELP ME!

Make sure that you are typing the exact name you gave your file when you saved it after you made it in whatever art program you used. That counts caps and spaces. Also make sure you saved the files in the correct locations. Height Map (grayscale map) should be in your terrains folder and your mask (RGB map) in the textures folder.

Mask has never had to be in the textures folder for me... always worked just fine in the terrains folder. But yes, everything else Sura said is what you should be checking.

this is not the problem I've done everything needed except their may be something like entering folders into feral heart but if thats the problem then please tell me how to enter folders into feralheart

Make sure you have the heightmap image saved in your map's folder, located in your Terrains folder. When typing it make sure you type in the exact name of the heightmap image including the .png format.

Along with what Ingredient said all you have to do is find your C:/ and in there is your Feral Heart folder. Your actual map files are within the terrain folder. To find it you just follow as so:
C:/>Feral Heart>Media>Terrains
