When I download textures, I save them under Textures and then when I refresh FH and go to use them they dont work! Why ;3; The textures that downloaded when I got FH city worked but the ones I get wont anyone know why?
-
What kind of textures did you download and what do you mean by they are not working? If you're trying to replace a certain texture you already have in your game with a new one you just rename the new texture the name of the one you want to replace it with. Is this what you're trying to do?

Its juts a texture pack of all new meshs where once i downloaded it I drag them to Textures
-
Can you link me them so I can check it out for you?

Oh ok that helps. I just need to understand what you're trying to use these textures for though so I can explain what you should do to get them to work. Are you trying to get these textures to work on a map you're making or are you trying to get them to work in game on the game's default maps like Fluorite etc? If you're trying to get them to work on the regular Feral Heart maps then you just do like what I said above. You have to check your texture folder and see what those files are named and just rename them the name of the default texture you want to replace.
Or are you trying to get them to work in your map maker like custom textures?

I'm trying to use the textures for a custom map

Oh ok :) Go into your textures folder where you saved those textures then in C:/>Feral Heart>Media>Terrains>Textures. In that folder there should be a material file (like a notepad) called "defaultTex", open that up. Type in the new texture names in that material file then save it and open up your game again. The new textures should be available in your map maker after that :)

I think I figured out what I was doing wrong XD I placed it in the textures folder that they use for everything like markings instead of the map textures >.< Let me re-do it

Yes it should be saved where I mentioned above :) :
C:/>Feral Heart>Media>Terrains>Textures
Let me know if it works out after :3
