Title: adding pics to posts

i was just wondering, is it possible add pictures from DeviantArt to posts, or does it not work? (if its possible, please tell me how to)

You mean like art pieces?

It's possible if you save the art piece to your computer first - then use TinyPic (http://wwwBannedImageSite) to uppload the picture (there is a box named "Resize", I recommend you use the "Message Board 640x480").
After you've clicked the "Upload" button you'll get a few different links to choose from - copy the link url that says "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" and paste it here on the forum in your reply box and the picture will show ;3
Click preview before you post so you see that it worked out as it should.

Also make sure you have the artist approvement to post their art if the art isn't your own!

It doesn't matter where you get the image from... As long as you have it saved to your computer and you upload it to a site like TinyPic (which Shallow suggested) and get that IMG coding it will work. There's no specific format just because the pic is from DA.

I would imagine you would have to save the image onto your computer first before heading to the Tinypic, uploading stuff ;)
