Title: Ocean material?

So i am making a volcano map and it can't be water that just makes no sense o_o

I want it to be lava so i want to change the texture but it won't let me!!!

I tried typing in Desertsand.jpg, desertsand.jpg, DESERTSAND.JPG And Desertsand/jpg! It won't work!!!

If you can help that would be great...
