Hello floofs!

So,you may wander what the title means.Well there are some moderator wannabes or however you want to call them who want to "ban" you for stupid things.I'm going to shae with you three encounters with theese guys

Encounter No.1
Me,standing on stonebridge.Apparently I was the only one there with another person who seemed to be AFK(ehhh....mornings).Then,this sparkledog comes right to me.
S(sparkledog):I'm going to ban you.
Me:Wut?
S:I'm serious believe it or not i am a moderator!
Me:no you're not and i haven't done anything.
S:yes you did right now you are breaking a rule.
Me:Really?which one?
S:the stonebridge is a mod-area only,players like you are forbidden of getting here.haven't you read the rules board you irresponsible noob?now f**k off!
Me:I read the rules and this rule is just made-up by you.And mods should be examples to players and not cuss like you.
S:still gonna ban you.right now im typing the command hold on
*after 1 min*
Me:so you finished?
S:its taking so long to respond but its still gonna work
*after 5 mins*
Me:Still didn't worked?this proves you're just a troll.
S:now it worked it'll take 2-3 days till its activated so it's time you say goodbye to your ccount
Me:Yeah right.....

And then it poofed can't say why ii didn't blocked him since the beginning.

Encounter No.2
Me again,bored,running in circles and someone comes to me.
P(person):you've been breaking this rule for too long it's time i ban you
Me:one,you're not a moderator  and two i haven't done anything.
P:it's restricted to run like this.
Me:No it's not.
P:yes it is now im gonna ban you.*bans*
Me:ummm...you did nothing.
P:i did
Me;No you just said *bans* but did nothing so youre not mod.
P:i am
Me:i don't know why im wasting my time with you...*blocks*

Encounter No.3

Thought it was all over?neah!I was with my friend irl in south pole and discussing how life's been going,school stuff etc.When a black wolf with a christmas hat named "Moderator" comes to us.Know we were talking in our natal language.
W(wolf):Oh my yo're so rude!
Me:?
W:you're not supposed to discuss about this it's mature content!
Me:you don't even understand what are we saying
W:yes i do im a mod and i know everything.
Me:really?what did we discus about?
W:like i said mature content
Me:no we didn't
W;How can you prove it?
Me:how can you prove we were talking about what you were thinking?
W:I said i know everything.
Me:No,tell me what this means:"Capsunile sunt dulci"(it means strawberries are sweet)
W:you said you just r***d your mother
Me:Wut?!I didn't
W:so you didn't r***d your mother?
Me:I said nothing related to this.I said that strawberries are sweet
W:youre still getting banned
Friend in whisper:let's block him

So i blocked him,it was another waste of time.



Have this happened toyou?And whats your opinion about this?What shall ii expect next:another "moderator" comeing to me,telling me to keep off the grass?

I have never had this happen to me, this is the frist time ive heard of this happening, next time you should remember there username and tell a real mod.

 Generally this kind of thing is called mini-moding to where they claim to be a administrator or mod. In a way, it is a offense to impersonate a admin/mod and will get them banned.

Also, I have had this same thing happen to me recently when a kid came up to me mate begging, and then said she was a admin and her dad own this game....-__-....seriously.
Went something like this

(Just siting on a huge rock near the tree at Caps while talking to Thierry and a random wolf goes under me)
Me: Um...hello?
Alice: Buttswing now!!
Thierry and Me: ????...Me: Naw I'm good( gets up quickly and hides behind Thierry)
Alice: ( walks over to Thierry ) m8 with meh...please!!1!
Me: Hey kid, leave him alone. (Thierry poofs to safety in lonely cave/ diff character)
Alice: Hey you shut it, I am a administrator and I'm going to ban ya
Me: I did nothing wrong, and from what you did earlier you are obviously not.
Alice: YOU SHUT IT, I am admin and my father owns this game
(Other random wolves started to help me)
Me: So your dad is KovuLKD?
Alice: No, I don't know who that even is.
Me: He is the one who made this game and he has no children.
Alice:YOU SHUT IT OR I WILL BAN YOU!! I am admin, you can't tell me what to do. I'm going to ban ya now. Say goodbye to your account.
Me:.....-waits and looks at skin watch-....So....how's that going?...I'm still here.
Alice: YOU SHUT UP, I AM THIERRYS MATE AND I AM ADMIN AND blah, blah, blah ( insert more childish ranting here)
Me: Well here...let me fix that for you
-sends screenshots to a real mod and she poofs-

So I know how you feel. Some kids these days man -facepalms-

 How to handle this
Usually when something like this happens you take screenshots of the offense and send it to a staff member. This is usually the best way for something like this happening. It may take a while for a staff member to see your report, but it's a for sure/best solution to "teach" the offender what she did wrong besides just blocking them.

I've had this once but I was actually laughing so hard I forgot to post a screenshot >.< (My friend was also there, rofling.)

I was sitting on my friend while she was laying on her side, note I was laying on her stomach.

WA (Wannabe Admin): I'm banning you.
Me: Wut?
WA: I'm banning you, are you stupid?
Me: Your not a admin and I didn't do anything :3
WA: Mating isn't allowed so I'm banning you.
Friend: o_o ?
Me: I don't see myself mating.
WA: THATS IT I'M BANNING YOU NOW!!!!!!!
~5 minutes later, now we're dancing~
Me: Well well well well well well wellll. I'm not banned.
WA: I'VE BANNED YOU NOW! both forget about playing.
Friend: Yeah whatever 030
Me & My friend: *Le block~*

.. I don't.. *Sigh* It as so funny. x3

Why do you even feed these trolls. If a mod doesnt talks to you with the RED chat text or he RED private message text ingame: this is no mod.

A mod ALWAYS has to talk to you like this if you do anything wrong. So just ignore everyone else and simply block them.
Because simple blocking them makes them rage and getting angry like nothing and they cant do anything about that and they sure as hell know that.

PS.: I had to change your thread title cause it keeps making the appearance that you want to discus a ban that is placed on you and it could cause trouble with that.

To add on Tiggs post, the always part can vary. Also keep in mind that no one needs to warn anyone before taking action.

If you break rules for the game or overall act like a bumhole towards users you can very well get thrown off the game without any warnings if it is seen needed. If you know what the rules for the game are, you don't even need to sweat if a random users warns you for something that is completely illogical.

But as mentioned above, keep in mind that users falsely pretending to be in any sort of possession of ingame powers is in fact breaking the rules, even worse if they are threatening users. It's just to report them properly on the forum here and things will get sorted out.

That's a bit serious, mate. Impersonators should be screeshotted and banned immediately. (My opinion.) It's basically 'identity theft' except your money isn't going anywhere. Haha.
I've had my experience before:

Me:-Role playing with some cats until one decides to attack me.-
12 Year old:OH MY GOD!! THAT'S POWERPLAYING!!! I AM THE BROTHER TO RED!!!
Me:Ookay?.. :|

Me:I'm going to get banned for.. roleplaying fairly with you...?
Blue:Uh, kid? I highly doubt you're related to Red.. Besides, you powerplayed..
12Yr:Y DONT YOU SHUT UP!?! YOU'RE ALL PROBABLY 9!!! -Insert cusses and profanity..-
Me:Take me away,Blue. I will not waste my time here.
Blue:Just block him. -Blocks-
Me:-Block-

Ugh. -Temple rub- The world never fails to amuse us, eh?
Whaddya do about them?:
1.) It's best you screenshot the impostor and report them. You have to have evidence though. We can't have them wannabes runnin' around.
2.)Block them. Just block. But if you see the user keeps running around, trolling, then you have to report.

How to tell they're not admin/mod:
Read the staff page.
Get them to try and do a command, if they don't do one, they're not an admin/mod.
Red chat. 'Nuff said.
(Don't know if it's true..) Most mods/admins I meet are in iRawr.

This has never happened to me before... it hasn't happened to me yet, but it might someday. Like everyone else here said, best thing to do is take screenshots and submit them to a real mod on the site, and block them. Simple as that.

Too bad I eventually unblocked those guys,i could have their usernames and report them althought i had no screenshots,but I'll keep this in mind for the future.

Yeah that never is known as mateing, thats called couching them, where ur only sitting, they obviously  was new and thoaght they could troll ppl .

I've seen my share of moderator/administrator impersonaters around- and to be honest, yeah. I would laugh at them in amusement and make my own little comments in a party chat that I am in so very often.
They are ridiculously annoying, but I suppose you all know that. However it's best not to provoke or make fun of them- or at least not /infront/ of them. Otherwise you'll just be sitting there, listening to their pointless rambling about how they will ban you and what nonsense, probably thinking that their silly threats might be capable of scaring you.

But, as several others stated before me- it's best not to feed them, and in my opinion: If your gonna be a little cruel like me and laugh, point and mock- do it behind their backs, at least they'll never know then, and what you wanted to say would of been said, and their feelings would not be hurt- not to mention their rambling would not of gone on. The best thing to do immediantly after would be to take a screenshot though, and send it to actual administrators and moderators if you feel it is serious enough, and then just allow them to review over it and pass their own judgement.

Arf this is one of the stupidest things I've heard in a long time - I can never understand that people actually spend their time trolling or doing things like this just to annoy other players.

The next time someone does this to you (or if you see it done to another player) you take a screen and send it to one of the admins or the mods. It's forbidden to impersonate any of the staff.

This never happened to me before, but, it sounds pretty funny. I mean, can you actually take people like that seriously? I'd get a good laugh out of that if that happened to me. :'D

This one guy got upset because we were rping in a public cave, and he was in our group, and wanted us to chase our a pair of users who were sitting in the cave but not rping. After a while of ranting at us, I told him to leave, saying that if he wouldn't abide by our rules this wasn't the group for him. After leaving, he whispers me saying "You shouldn't be rude to an admin. I'm going to ban you for that!"...

Never happened to me but it's making me lol. XD Person wants to ban you for standing on SB *facepaw*. I recommened you to block like you always do, report only if it gets serious. Another cookie terminator... Danger for my cookies... <.<  o.o  >.>

Basically they can't ban you becuz I doubt administrators wuld say stuff like " ooooh I'm bannin you you can't do dat! " I expect the real administrators wuld just get on with it n ban you,not waste there time sayin " you gunna b banned in 5...4...3...2...1...0 and say bye to ur account! " best thing to do is ignore them n report em cuz we can't get innocent peepl banned,right?

Reporting is really the best thing, and then block the user if it's causing issues for you.

The rules are very clear around this matter.

It it also considered nothing but a threat if users go around and tell people they will get banned even though they have no right or powers to actually do or say so.

A good rule of thumb is really checking up on the staff list if someone comes up to you in the game and start yapping about being an administrator or moderator.
