Title: Help?
Post by: luckyspirit on March 24, 2013, 05:42:57 pm
Well, I know FH doesn't have a virus, but whenever I open it, I just see nothing. Like, it goes black, fullscreen, then transparent. It makes me have to open up the task manager to be able to go on something else, which really annoys me. I just got it today, too!

When you go in-game, try opening Options - Video, then you'll have an option to switch rendering systems. See which works for you the best.

If these don't work, try uninstalling, then reinstalling FH.
I hope you can get FH working, soon!

You should probably re-install it or un-install it.

I can't go in-game. That's the problem! It's a relatively new computer, and it's been it's first time glitching up. And if I download it again, it'll be the same problem! :'(

If you download it again you have to remove the old fh folder. You can't overwrite it so make sure you remove the old folder first and then reinstall.

Simple remove any trace of FeralHeart from your computer.
(Other than presets and maps etc etc save them in a folder)
Then download FeralHeart again! :)

You don't need to go in game to change the rendering program.
Simply go to your Feral Heart folder and look for the ogre.cfg file.
Open it with Notepad and at the top change the rendering system to either Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem or OpenGL Rendering Subsystem.

Some computers are unable to run Feral Heart cause of the video rendering card that they have in them. But like said above, before you actually go in game you might want to try Options>Video and lowering everything so your computer has less to render.

If that dosn't work, then I suggest trying to re-downloading it again
