The Sentinel Pack lives within a dark and mysterious forest; right next to a desert they mainly remain within their home which is of the forest. The desert they rarely venture out to, however they have been known to stalk prey out into the sandy hills or search for needed herbs; water or other supplies the pack maybe lacking in.
Feeding Order:
Alphas, Beta, Elite Guards, Head Warrior, Head Hunter, Pup Care Taker, Elders, Scouts, Trainees, and Omegas.
Season:
Winter: Breeding.
Spring: Birthing.
Summer: Teaching the pups.
Autumn: Preparations for Winter
Breeding Rules:
As with real pack; Only the Alpha pair are allowed to breed. If any member is caught having pups' within the pack. The pups will be killed on the spot, no questions asked. If the year is good however, the beta pair may produce pups of their own but only with the Alphas' permission.
Role-Play Rules:
I. No cussing out of role play, in role-play however it is allowed if not mildly.
II. Post must contain up to 4 or higher sentences; no less will be accepted.
III. Mating with an enemy, will result in exile as you will be seen as a traitor. Love is not an excuse, ever.

The sun was just starting to peek over the icy mountains; a pair of icy blue eyes watched as the sun began to rise once more. Letting out a wide yawn the she-wolf known as Nakita stood with a stretch. Giving her snow white coat a shake just to get off the snow from the night before. Once ready she began to pad off to a western stream she knew that flowed not too far from their camp, a cool morning drink would wake her up properly. Ice and snow crunched under her light foot falls as she made her way past the others silently, knowing they hadn't awoken yet but would do so soon enough. Once at the frozen stream she pushed on the thin ice until it revealed the cold running water underneath, bending down she began to lap at the cool water while her icy eyes surveyed the landscape, searching for any ideal prey. A drink wasn't the only thing on her mind nor was food for that matter, she wanted the pack to grow this year which meant one of the males in this pack or a loner perhaps, would have to prove him self suitable to be her life long partner and start a new generation.

Ahendra padded through the snowy forest, the pine trees glistened under the morning sun, almost looking as if they were covered by crystals. She knew she was near a pack's territory "Better stay away." she yawned as she turned to move away from their territory, the last thing she needed was to get into a tussle with a pack. Suddenly the smell of a male entered her nose, she had never smelled him before. "I wonder who it could be."(Chanter) She decided to investigate. She trotted towards the smell until a black wolf came into view, she looked at him for a second before moving forward "Hello. Are you from around here?"

The pitch black wolf when he heard a she wolf asking him, If he was around here First, Chanter wanted to begin and run, but held his confidence and replied to the she-wolf's question."Who me? N-no. I'm not around here." he signed, but truthfully. Then raising his eyebrow at the goldish [Made up word] she wolf also wondering if she was around here, but he kept quite since it would be a stupid question to ask. (It's alright). Then a another came out of his mouth, the young male finally got up with another two legs (He was sitting) and waited for a respond.

Ahendra looked at him "Oh, well just stay out of the Sentinel pack's territory, unless you plan on joining them." She flicked her tail then turned around "See ya, well probably not." she nodded her head then bounded off. She knew they would most likely never cross paths again, so why try to become friends? Ahendra knew loners only ever came together was when the the breeding season came around, then they would go their separate ways once again. So there was no point in becoming friendly with another wolf. The sun soon reached it's peek showing that it was almost noon. She sniffed the air, checking for any prey or danger, not smelling any she trotted over to a large pine and laid underneath it's branches.

The pitch black wolf tilted his head in confusion wondering why the female would say that..The young male began to pant for no pair reason, and began running towards to the female."Wait!" he barked, with his tongue lugging out off his month. When he finally got up to the female, he stopped and began panting. "What do you mean? Not...Joining..The..Sentinel pack's territory?" he asked, trying to catch his breathe. Still thinking why not to join the Sentinel pack's territory. The young male consonantly looked at the she wolf. He started to notice she was pretty..He started to wonder if she had a mate, but didn't ask; would be to weird.

Rock felt the hot sun on his white and grey fur, his eyes blinked open. Slowly, he pushed himself to his paws, and faced the floor with a sleepy look. Rock bounded into the clearing, and shook his pelt, still making sure that no other wolf was in the clearing. So far... No? He shrugged, and sat down, smoothing his fur down with his tongue. He wondered what he would be hunting today, maybe elk or something... -short-

Ahendra heard the male run up to her "You may join them,but if you don't plan on it, don't go into their territory. Don't want any trouble." she chuckled "I doubt you could go up against a whole pack." She grinned "Well I should be going, gotta eat sometime." She flicked her tail playfully, swiping past his muzzle before running into the forest. Ahendra was fast due to her small size, he would never catch her. She decided it wouldn't be too bad to have a friend tag a long for a while, so she stopped and waited for him to catch up "Too fast for ya?" she teased. Her stomach growled loudly "Maybe we should find something to eat. Are you hungry?" She waited for his answer.

The pitch black male muzzle turned to the direction that the wolf. Is she doing this on purpose? Or just to make me follow her? He wondered then she her speed. Chanter eyes widened with amazement, until he heard the female's voice again. He quickly adjusted his head and replied "No your perfectly fine" he chuckled, running behind the she-wolf, until a halt came. Chanter quickly stopped and peaked his ears when he heard Ahendra stomach growled. He was also kinda hungry, but replied. "Yeah. I hungry.." he answered, then quickly remembering he didn't get the female's name, so he started it off. "Oh my name is Chanter, by the way" he smiled.

Personality: Well Kyra is a very active girl who loves to run as she is very eergetic. She has a kind personality but despite this she can be really mean times as she is a very straight forward girl. Despite her hard past she is very open to people she trusts and she doesnt mind telling them about her past as she says 'The past is the past you can either forget about it and learn from it or dawn on it and be depressed'. Being a big built female she is ideal when it comes to fighting and she will stand her ground, she doesnt often fight but then she does she finds it hard to stop with her having a short temper.
History: As a pup she lived in her fathers pack with her mother also, it was quite a large pack and the members were kind, well most of them anyways. One day she was out alone (when she was a teen) it was her 2nd hunt actually and she wanted to go alone so she did.
Whilst she was away she spotted tire tracks so she ditched her hunt and followed them, she began to get worried as they were near her home. She arrived home to find her mother and father dead but there was no humans nor gunshots on their bodies, but blood stains stained the snow as she followed them into the forest.
There she found Brook a large female cleaning her fur with bood stained on her fur. Kyra questioned Brook but she just looked at her and laughed as a large male went behind Kyra and pushed her. She knew it was brook who killed her parents from her reaction she always wanted the pack.
Rage began to bubble inside Kyra and she couldnt take no more she pounced to Brook and they tumbled down a hill, when the got to the bottom Kyra spotted blood and thought it was Brook but she was clear of blood, looking at her own paw she spotted blood letting out a fierce growl Kyra grabbed Brook by the neck and pinned her to the floor. Brook cried for Kyra to let go she tried but she couldnt she was to full of rage Brook let out a cry then stopped, Kyra let go and the she wolf dropped to the floor her eyes widened as the large male Draco ran down th hill. He told Kyra to leave as he growled at her baring his teeth Kyra growled back saliva dripped from her mouth along with blood she then turned around sharply and kicked snow at Draco the she ran off. Ever since Kyra hasnt lived in a pack as shes trying to get her anger under controll but it wasnt her fault.

Kyra opened her eyes and let out a yawn, she rose to her paws and shook the snow from her pelt as she let out a yawn. She lifted her head to the sky and began to sniff for any food near by, hearing a twig snap her head sharply turned to spot a large rabbit hopping around. Licking her lips she crouched down and began stalking the rabbit making sure she didnt startle it, she began t breath lighter as she came a few feet away from the rabbit. 'Easy meal' she though in her head as she licked her lips getting ready the pounce at the rabbit, once she was ready she jumped at the rabbit and grabbed it with her sharp teeth clamping down on the rabbits bones as a crack was heard.
Satisfied the rabbit was dead she dropped it onto the floor licking her lips as her muzzle was covered in blood. Her stomach roared with a grumble as she leant down and began to feast on the rabbit. After a few minutes she lifted her head from the carcass as she padded away, she came to a large rock and lay down as she began to clean the blood from her white pelt hoping it wouldnt stain.

Rock perked his ears, as he heard small paw steps against the ground. He spun his head round, his body tense, but just saw the Alpha. His body relaxed, and he gave Nakita a short smile. "Morning Rock. How was your sleep?" The Alpha asked, and Rock wasn't prepared to tell her his whole dream, so he just replied, "Morning Nakita, my sleep was fine! How about yours?" He questioned, sitting down peacefully. As he waited for a answer, he day dreamed about his dream. He was in a fantasy world, where fresh kill lay in a pile all day, when they could eat all day... He was the Alpha, and the pack never had any problems, and he could control the weather! Snowy and warm at times, and sun but a cold feel in the other! But that was just a dream. He was brought back to real life, and the cold wind hit him hard.

Lol.))Nakita ears peaked when she saw Rock head was quickly run like as if he was going to bark with fear. The she wolf began to chuckled, she didn't mean to startle him and replied. "My sleep was good, but kinda chilly inside the den" she described. Then suddenly, the sun rose and the prey was in the forest, searching bark for there themselves. The Alpha she wolf began sniffing them fro miles away, then she turned to Rock and slightly nodded. "Well..We should hunt..The pack looks kinda hungry" she signed, and led the way to the elk herd.

She came to an area where the scent of other wolves was quite strong, she the realised she must have wondered into another wolf or packs territory. She lifted her head to sniff making sure she wasnt in any danger. Kyra let out a huff as she began to explore hoping to not be caught in the territory as she didnt feel in the mood to fight.

Ahendra nodded her head then bounded into a nearby bush, he dug into the ground to get into her stash. She had large chunks of deer and a few rabbits buried under the snow, she grabbed a rabbit for the male and a chunk of deer for herself. She covered the hole with a large pile of snow before emerging from the bush once again "Here." she barked a she dropped the rabbit. She plopped down and began chewing on the frozen deer meat "My name is Ahendra." she said through mouthfuls. Food was a little hard to come by this time of year, it was always safe to have a secret stash to go to if you weren't lucky on a hunt. She finished her meal then sat up "Make sure to take the bones away from here, or bury them." Since she only had a chunk of meat there were no bones in her share. She licked her maw then looked at him after he finished disposing of the bones "What brings you to this side of the woods?" she was quite curious since there wasn't much prey to be found here.

Nakita ears peaked when she heard Rock barked, she raised her head high and saw the elk from a distinct! Incredible! Nakita thought to herself and began to crouch, so the Caribou won't see her. The she wolf lay her tail under her stomach. Then began to growled. Nakita began crouching (IDK) forward--but the Caribou didn't see here-- So this gave Nakita a chance go to closer, so she did. Chanter looked up to the female, and began smiling. "Thanks and that's a nice name" he said, as he wagged his tail. Then bent his head down and began eating.Minutes later, Chanter was finished with the meat, until he heard Ahendra's voice again, but this time a question. The young male licked his lips, and opened his mouth to speak. "Oh, uh..Looking for a mate?" he said, as he pressed his lips together, then about to ask the same question. "What about you?" he asked.

"A mate? Well that's going to be hard to find since most of the wolves moved." She yawned as she stood up and began to walk to the frozen river "I was born here, why would I leave?" She slowly stepped across the patch of ice, she could feel the vibrations of the rushing water underneath. She laid her ears down and took in a breath "I hope this doesn't break." she whispered to herself. Just a few days ago she saw a wolf fall through, he never came out. Not all the river was frozen, just a patch large enough for them to cross, it wasn't safe but it was the only way. Freezing water splashed up and over the ice patch, soaking Ahendra "Be careful." she barked to Chanter. Suddenly she heard a cracking, she stopped, she didn't know why, she just did. Suddenly she was submerged in ice water. Her claws raked against the ice, trying to pull herself up. But the water was too strong, she was swept under. A moment later her head popped up on the other side "Gotta get out." she growled. She began to paddle towards shore, finally her paws dug into the rocks and pebbles. She used all her energy to stand up and walk to dry ground. She finally collapsed from exhaustion, she looked up the river to Chanter "You have to find another way around!" she howled, she thought for a moment "I think their is a fallen tree down river! But it's a little far away!" she had to shout because the river was too loud "I'll just wait here!" she panted. She laid her head down, trying to recover her energy.

Chanter eyes widen when he saw the female about to drown inside the freezing cold water. Then his ears peaked when he heard a bark from the other side of the river. He begin to whined and barked back within a replied. "Uh okay..I try to come quick" he said, as a little whine came out. Then Chanter nodded and begin towards the tree from yards away. Minutes later, he came across an old tree that was old,the barks spaced from each other,and also that able to cross one wolf at a time or able to hold one wolf before it tore into two parts. Chanter begin to growled under his breath and started to across the the old tree.Crack The young male ears peaked sharply, he looked around, but saw noting; until another crack appear. Chanter began to place his tale under his legs, and heard even more cracks. Chanter looked down and saw the tree was about to come apart, the young male gasp and begin running for dear life, until suddenly the tree came apart. Chanter was almost at the end, then suddenly, the tree fell and splashed into the water, the young male stopped for a second to look at the height of or the distinct of other tree from the other side, but time was running out. Chanter started to begin worried and jumped across the other side and started hanging with dear life; the young male hind legs was hanging without gripping onto stomach, but it was just hanging in the cold water. Chanter now could feel is feet and started to whine. Come on, Chanter,LEAP! he encouraged himself, and then finally jumped with all his energy, and landed on the shore. Chanter began breathy heavily, never doing so such a amazing thing. -To be continued- (Sorry if this is confusing)

Ahendra patiently waited for Chanter's return, her energy had come back, she was ready to leave. "Maybe he decided to leave." she yawned as she slowly stood up on her paws. She shook the snow and water from her pelt then ran into the forest. It was best not to have any friends while you are traveling, it could slow you down. The snow was beginning the thicken as she went deeper into the woods, where not many have ventured. She began to slow down, trying to catch her breath. She looked at her surroundings, she didn't recognize this area, but it didn't bother her too much. Finally, she decided to lay down under a beam of sunlight shining through trees. Her tan coat shown under the sun's rays, making it look gold. She yawned then laid her head down, she wasn't tired, she just wanted to relax.

Chanter
Chanter slowly rose to his paws and quickly walking back to Ahendra; whom was waiting patiently. When the young wolf returned, he saw Ahendra left. (o.o) Chanter heart begin to beat fast, he started thinking if someone took her. He begin whining and go search for her. -Skip- (I'm lazy today) Chanter couldn't find her no where. Now he was getting extremely worried and began howling for her.

Ahendra
The echoing of a howl entered her ears, making her lift her head "Who was that?" she asked herself, she couldn't name who it was. She slowly stood up "I should keep moving." She then began trotting through the forest. A strange smell entered her nose, she had never smelled it before. She ignored it and kept moving. Suddenly she felt something tighten around her left hind leg(Snare) "What the?" she growled. She tried to pull her leg free but it just tightened, she began to whine from the pain. She looked around, making sure nothing was going to take advantage of her situation. She tried to bite the wire but it was too strong and too thick, blood began to slowly drip down her paw. Out of fear she howled for help, she didn't know what else to do.

Chanter
Chanter before bent his head down with disppointment. He mean to make she wolf wait so long. Then suddenly, Chanter ears peaked when he heard a sorrowful,and painful howl! The young male didn't know if it was a different wolf or the same she wolf; he also didn't know wether to go or not. Chanter began to whined and howled back to the other wolf, then began racing to the wolf. When the young male reached to the wolf, he saw Ahendra trapped! Chanter begin to gasp and growled, seeing if there's any hunters. -short-

Ahendra
A familiar scent wafted over her "Chanter!" she whined, she looked over to her trapped leg "I'm stuck." she whimpered. She tried to pull her leg free once more but the metal wire dug into her skin. She grew angry then began to chew down on the wire, but it was no use. "What do I do?" she whined to Chanter. "What If I die here.." she said quietly, she heard of these kinds of traps, but no one has ever managed to get out of one. She looked up to where the wire was attached to "Hey! Maybe you can break the branch off of the tree." she barked.

Kyra padded out of the other wolves territory as she began to explore a little more bordeness began to take over the young she wolf as she began to run the cool breeze blowing through her white, fluffy fur as she began to howl. After 5 minutes she stopped and stood ontop of a large rock spotting an alone injured elk, her stomach growled indicating she was hungry then she decided to hunt the elk.
She jumped from the large rock without a sound as she hid behind the trees and few rocks the seperated her from the elk as she urged forward still silent, her breathing got slower as she was only just feet away from the elk building up her energy she pounced from her crouching position and began her hunt. The elk ran as its hooves hit the floor with a thud but its injured leg caused it to slow down quickly. Kyra seen her chance as the elk tired she ran catching up with the elk then turned to snap her jaws down onto its neck. Keeping grip her and the elk hit the floor with a thud she still gripped onto its neck.
After 2-3 minutes she let go knowing the elk was more than likely dead now as she began to tuck in to her kill, once she finished and ate what she needed she walked a few feet away from the carcass of the elk and began to lick her blood stained muzzle and pelt. Once cleaning her fur&muzzle she jumped onto a large rock that was not to far away from the carcass. Closing her eyes she went into a light sleep as the hoot of an owl was heard from the tree tops above her.
(Sorry i haven't posted in a while i've been really busy lately).

Chanter whined and nuzzled Ahendra. He looked around and saw noting in sight,nor checking for an hunter that might be a pointing at them. Then Chanter turned back to Ahendra and replied. "Don't say that..You won't die without me" he snarled and looked down at the thing that was squeezing the she wolf's leg. "Hm.." He said to himself, then bent his down and opened his mouth -showing his bare teeth- and began pulling the thing around Ahendra's leg with his sharp teeth. Minutes later, the Snare (Think that's what it's called?) snapped, but blood began gushing down from the she's wolf leg. "We need to get out of here!" he barked, and began walking away.

Ahendra watched as Chanter released her leg from the trap, blood began flowing from her wound. She whined then began following Chanter. Her body was tired and weak, she didn't know how much longer she could go on. She came to a stop, she looked back and saw the trail of blood she was creating. If she stayed with Chanter whoever made that trap would find them both. "We have to split up." she said as she began to go another direction "Maybe we'll meet up again." She nodded her head to him then limped away "Don't follow me!" she growled, she didn't know if he was following her or not, but if he was she didn't want him to.

Chanter around and starred at the she's wolf trail of blood. This was bad, Chanter thought to himself, then replied."Okay. I understand, but won't you get hurt or die by losing all that blood?" he barked back "I think you stay with me or something" he added with a hint shrugged; trying to keep Ahendra safe from danger and death Then looked around the forest and sighed. -super short-

Ahendra
Ahendra looked back at him "I'll be fine." she huffed, she turned back forward then limped away. Unfortunately she didn't make it very far, she collapsed onto the snowy ground. She growled at herself then tried to get back up. A small whine left her mouth as her body wanted to stop and sleep forever. She slowly made her way forward, her injured leg suffering excruciating pain at each step. She looked back and no longer could see Chanter. Her body was slowly growing weaker and weaker as she kept moving, she wanted to get to the river. Each step was becoming more and more wobbly, and her trail was easy to spot due to the sloppy paw steps and the blood. Finally, she could hear the sound of the flowing river "Almost there." she whined. She finally made it to the river, if she were to die she wanted to die here, "It's so beautiful here." she said with a weak smile. Reaching her destination she collapsed onto the snow. She took a moment to look at her wound, it was very deep and was still bleeding. She sighed then laid on her side and closed her eyes, she slowly fell asleep.

Chanter
Chanter signed with a disappointment look on his face, he wanted to stay with her. He really liked her and some kind of sorts. The young began paddling off, until he sense snapped. "Pff!" he spited out and turned his head, seeing if should follow or not..He shook his no. "No! She said not to follow her!" he snapped to himself;but his sense told him to go forward. The young began growling at himself and continued walking, until it happened again, after a few minutes. Chanter snapped. "Whatever, I'm going to her!" he told himself and began running towards her.

Ahendra woke up from her slumber, she felt something touching her. She jumped up when she saw a gray wolf hunched over her wounded leg "Oh! Sorry." the wolf said "I saw that you were hurt and I thought you needed some help." Ahendra stared at him for a minute "It's fine." she finally said "Who are you?" she decided to ask. "Oh, my name is Tanner, you?" Ahendra didn't know whether or not to trust him but something was telling her she should "I'm Ahendra." Tanner smiled "It's nice to meet you. So what happened to your leg?" Ahendra sighed "I got caught in some kind of snare. the metal wire that held me dug into my leg." she lowered her ears "A wolf helped me but I don't know where he went." Tanner frowned "Well I'll stay to help." he grinned. Ahendra perked her ears "Really?" she wagged her tail "Yeah! I don't mind hangin' around until you get better." Ahendra grinned "Thanks Tanner."
