So, funny story, I was searching through my "Show new replies to your posts" list, and all of the topics were boring, so I hopped on over to "Show unread posts since last visit" and THIS is what happened!:

Yeah, it does that sometimes, it empties itself. Happened to me a few days ago as well. xD

It's no big deal, nothing to worry about.
