Elphie is swimming not far off, happily playing with a dolphin. She chitters back and forth with him and laughs. She hugs his neck and smiles up at the surface

Stoneite shook his head knowing it was no good spying on a gang and so he swam away. His large black tail and fins swished up and down making the water behind him go bubbly; he soon came to stop sensing that he was not alone. He looked up and saw a mermaid swimming with a dolphin, he kept on watching her wondering who she was.

She notices him and her plump pink lips form an O, then she darts away as fast as she can, disappearing in a stream of bubbles, dropping a necklace but not bothering to stop for it

She swims straight into Elijah. " oh! Hi!" she smiles up at him. " what's up?"

Elijah grinned and pulled his pierced bottom lip between his sharpened teeth. His short blonde hair hung over his right eye. "Hey, baby." He grinned and hooked his arms around her, pulling her into a kiss. He pulled his head back and raised a brow. "Where is your necklace?" He asked, only now noticing.

She feels her neck for the locket." Oh...I just had it on..." she checks her long black hair to see if its tangled there. " oh no...." her eyes go quite round. " I'll go look for it right now."

Elijah grabbed her hand and swam beside her. "I'll go with you." He said kindly. After swimming a while, Eli saw another merman not too far off. He suddenly stopped.

Elphie darts behind him, knowing better than to say anything. She holds onto his shoulders. " lets just go..." she whispers in his ear

Elijah turned to Elphie with a raised brow. "Been a while, huh?" He asked roughly. He turned a sharp gaze back to the merman.He glaced down to his hands before flickering his violet optics back up. "I want to know why you have my mate's necklace." He said slowly.

Elphie holds onto Elijah tightly. " I don't know him babe, I swear. You'd know if I knew him." she kisses his cheek comfortingly. " the boy must have found it. He couldn't have been swift enough to steal to from me."

Elijah grabbed her by the chin and jaw and shook his head. "Unless you forgot if after you were together." He narrowed his eyes and shook her head once before releasing her from his grip. He splayed his hand across her stomach and pulled her back behind him as he waited for a response from the other male. "Now enlighten me. Why do you have Elphie's necklace?" He asked again.

Elphie nuzzles into him with a sigh. " you know i wouldn't do that, besides, he has mate markings on his chest." she points out the blue tattoos. " I probably just dropped it again love, it's okay. Besides, he couldn't be half the man you are, that's obvious to me just looking at him." she scoffs

Elijah leaned in to Elphie, her words fueling his egotistical nature, though he kept a stern gaze on the man who had introduced himself as Stoneite. "Had a chat?" He basically snarled and moved forward. "I wish that I could say it was a pleasure meeting you, but I'm not supposed to lie. Now if you would be so kind as to return the locket, there will be no trouble." He spoke deeply, his fists clenching. "That would be best for all of us."

She stares at the man, " I've never even met you! And I can't lie! I'd be burned if I did! I'm the princess." she draws herself up narrowing her eyes. " if we actually had met, you'd know that. I'd like my necklac back please." she holds her hand out

She shrieks. " that's mine!!" she swims after him. " please...it was my mothers...." her eyes go large and sad. " Please, have kindness in your heart..."

Elijah rolled his eyes and swam back to his house. He layed down on his mossy bed and rubbed his eyes. "Long day." he sighed.

She storms in, her eyes hurt. " please...that was my moms...its all I have left...please..." she doesn't realize where she is. "sir, that is my necklace. Inside is a portrait of my mother, please, may I have it back?"

Elphie presses her face into her hands and begins to cry softly. " all I wanted was my necklace back..."she curls up in a tight little ball and sighs, tears running down her porcelain cheeks

Elphie cries louder and louder. " I wanna go home..." she sniffles. " please...I haven't done anything wrong..."

Please...my father is old and very sick...I'm all he has. Please..I'll do anything." she presses her face to the bars. "please...." her tears drip down her cheeks

History: There isn't much to tell, she was born into a poorer family and lost her mother after she was born. The only family she has left is her elderly father who is ready to pass on anytime now.

Katalina
The blue-haired mermaid swam gracefully through the blue water, she loved exploring even though her father forbade it. That's how they lost her mother, she went out to look around and was killed, her father fears the same will happen to her. She knew she should be getting back soon but she wanted to explore some of the other buildings she had never been in before. Her father told her of an Emperor, a dark emperor, who had a clan of dark warriors who were ruthless. She always wanted to see them with her own eyes, she wanted to see if they were as menacing as her father said. She wanted to meet one of them and ask them what they were like and what they did. But she was scared, what if they were just like her father said? What if they took her away and she was never able to see her father again. He needed her more than ever now, he was on the verge of dying. With a heavy sigh she decided to set out and find one of the warriors, even though her mind told her to go home. She had to know what these mermen and mermaids were like.
She began to swim towards a darker area of the territory where not many merpeople were seen going. "It sure is a little scary over here." she said to herself, she was used to the king's brightly lite palace and the high traffic of merpeople. Finally, a palace came into view, Katalina stopped and swam idle for a moment to look at the palace. It was definitely a lot different from the King's palace. With a heavy gulp she swam forward and slowly pushed the palace doors open. At the entrance were two mermen, who immediately swam to her and held their hands up "What is your business here?" Katalina stared at them "I..I just..I was just exploring.." They glanced at each other then back to Katalina "This is no place for the likes of you." Katalina placed her hands on her waist "Why? Is this some secret organization?" She glared at them "Is there an emperor here? I hear things about this place and what you guys do." The mermen raised their brows "Why don't you come see for yourself." one of them smirked. They grabbed her arms roughly then pulled her through the main hall, "It's really beautiful in here." she breathed. The mermen looked at her "Mermaids.." they laughed then pulled her through another door.
They entered a large chamber that was just as beautiful as the main hall. Katalina noticed this place had many fearsome creatures guarding it, including sharks of all shapes and sizes. Finally, a large merman came into view who was seated on his throne "That must be him.." she whispered. He glared down at her, his eyes burning into hers "Who is this and why did you bring her here?" He boomed. Katalina flinched "She just arrived here, wanting to know if there was an emperor here." They pushed her forward, the emperor swam towards her "Why do you want to know about an emperor?" Katalina hesitated "Speak!" Katalina closed her eyes for a moment then looked at him "My father told me stories about the emperor and his dark warriors. He says they are bad merpeople, I just wanted to know if that was true." The emperor raised his head then looked at the guards, then back to Katalina "It is not your business." With a flick of his large hand he swam back up to his throne. Suddenly, the two guards grabbed her roughly then began to take her away "Maybe a few days in the dungeon will teach you to stay away." Katalina began to panic "You can't do this! My father, he is sick!" The emperor didn't seem to care. Soon she was thrown into a cell along with Elphaba, the princess.
"Elphaba? What are you doing here?" She was shocked to see the princess locked in this cell. She looked to the merman outside the cell "Please let us out!" She whined "I'll do anything!" She knew this was a bad idea, she had to get back to her father. The guard looked at her for a second "Anything?" Katalina shook her head "Yes!" He began to swim around the cell, thinking. "Well there is this pretty mermaid that I have taken an interest in, over by the king's palace, but I can never leave to go talk to her." Katalina looked at him "I'll talk to her for you! Please let us out." she begged. The merman stopped then looked at them "If I let you out you can never come back here again." He swam towards the cell door then unlocked it "Once you talk to her have her come to the large rock between the territories. I'll find a way to get there." Katalina looked to Elphaba "Let's go!" She gently grabbed her hand then began to swim out of the palace. "How did you get in there anyway?" She knew they had to get back to their own turf and get the princess back to safety.
On their way back Katalina saw a merman with dark markings on his chest with a darker tail(Stoneite). He looked liked he belonged to the dark clan, then she remembered. Her father told her about the markings they carried on their chest the represented the dark clan. He looked like he was digging in the sand "What are you doing?" she asked. She kept the princess behind her, she felt this instinct to protect her. She looked at the merman "Are you with the dark clan?" She looked at his face, he was fairly attractive. She shook her head "We'll be on our way now." She gently guided the princess back to the palace "Did you know that guy?"

Katalina
Finally, they were safe in the king's palace, she looked to Ellie "You should tell your father what happened. I need to go back home." She smiled to her then swam out of the palace, she knew she couldn't tell her father where she went. She swam past the merman from earlier, though he looked angry and frustrated. She stopped, she was going to ask if he was alright but she decided to keep going. She had to check in on her father before doing anything else. Finally, their small underwater hut came into view "Daddy!" she called, he was usually out and 'sitting' on his chair waiting for Katalina to come home. "Dad! I'm home!" she said as she opened the door. She saw her dad laying on his bed "..Dad? Daddy!" She began to cry, she swam next to him and shook him "Wake up! You can't leave me now!" She laid her head on his hand "I shouldn't have left, I should have stayed with you." Her father had been acting odd that morning, he begged her to go out instead of staying. She slowly floated up and lifted her father up, she struggled to carry him out, he was a large merman. She carried him outside then let him sink to to the soft sand, Katalina didn't know what she would do now. There was no one left to take care of her, she wasn't used to being alone.
After Katalina finished burying her father she planted some sea flowers on his grave "I love you and I'll miss you." She took in a deep breath then slowly swam away from her home. She had to think, think about her life and how she was going to live it now. Katalina swam to an open space where a medium sized rock lay, she swam over to it then sat on it. "What do I do now?" she asked herself before covering her face with her hands.

Kaalina felt a cold hand on her shoulder, she quickly lashed her tail and spun around "Oh, it's you.." she sighed. She looked at the sand for a moment before looking back up at him "Nothing, it's..nothing." She wouldn't bore another person with her personal life. She floated there for a moment "What brings you out this far anyway?" she did find it kind of odd that he was just out in the clearing. She decided that she should head back home where she would live alone, it was still a odd thought. Living alone when she was used to sharing her home with someone she loved, her father was all she had left. Now he's gone, he left her alone in this ocean. "I..gotta go." she couldn't sit here any longer, she had to go home. It wouldn't be like home anymore now that she had to live in it alone, but she would manage. She looked at the merman before swimming away "By the way, my name is Katalina." she said in a sad tone before swimming towards home.
She swam into the hut then drifted onto the queen sized bed, she laid her head on the pillow and sighed. She could still feel her father's presence, like he was watching over her. "Why did you leave me?" she began to cry. Crying seemed like the only thing she could do at the moment. She continued to cry, hoping to fall asleep, but sleep was not an option so she just ay there. Then she began to think of all the times she and her father had fun when she was so much younger "I already miss you.."

Elphie follows them. Her eyes flare in anger and she pushes Katalina away. " he is evil young one. You will stay away. He took my mamas necklace from me." she tugs her away and swims away with her

History: Although Leahs family areant exactly 'royalty' they are on similar lines and rather wealthy. Owning a beautiful 'castle' type home with many beautiful rooms and sea like objects to decorate it. Leah lives with her mother and father, her being the only child and one who gets spolt by her parents. As growing up she got what ever she wanted and was allowed to do what ever she wanted. Spending many years in the same neighbour hood she has a few camponions, a beautiful grey Dolphin named Oatrs a fish named flipper and a crab names Sebastian.
