Title: Determined Map Claimers

We all must have come across a map claimer before, defiantly if you like to hang out in Fluorite.  To me the biggest map claimers are Warrior Cats.

Wolfstar - me
I am using made up names, only Wolfstar was a real name in this.
Cats on my side was Ravenshadow.  Map claimers where Mousestar and Dragonfire

<Wolfstar> Wolfstar sat quietly in the shade of the tallrock.
<Mousestar> What are you doing in FlowerClan camp!
-Mousestar and some of his warriors come running into my camp-
<Wolfstar> I am sorry that StreamClan and FlowerClan have chosen the same place as a camp my clan is new and I can move))
<Dragonfire> No! You know where our camp is! Now we have to get rid of you! -Jumps on Wolfstar and rips his neck-
<Wolfstar> He kicks Dragonfire off of him.  Blood dripped slowly from his wound.  "There is no need to fight, StreamClan can just move!"
<Mousestar> No Dragonfire is right, your clan must die! -Jumps on Wolfstar's back and rips his skin and breaks his back-
<Ravenshadow> Dude, your smaller than him, your powerplaying and map claiming.
<Dragonfire> Mousestar can do whatever he wants because he is leader! -Rips open Ravenshadow's neck-
<Wolfstar> Ok I have had enough with you powerplaying, map claimers.  Ravenshadow, just block them.
<Mousestar> We will still be here!
<Ravenshadow> But we wont see you, duh.

Interesting how people think they can map claim. Owo I would have trolled them. XD but anyway, some poor these days. No respect for the rules. x.x

You did the right thing by blocking them. You politely offered to move for them, but they insisted on fighting. It sounds like they were looking for any stupid reason to pick a fight. It's happened to me before, but it didn't esculate to powerplaying.
Yes, Warrior Cat roleplayers can be pretty annoying when it comes to their map claiming. Of course, it's not always Warrior roleplayers that do this. I've had wolf packs map claim in Flourite, and I've also seen lion prides do it to.

I normally don't hang around the plains, but when I do I have come across map claimers when im often near other dens or just the classic "Hiding spots" Its kinda awkward actually when im in my TEC group and we come across map claimers when we are just hanging out in front of a den.

If a person comes up to you and tells you to move, they have no right to do so and was the right thing to just block them. Maps such as the plains or AI, or Caps are free public maps and are for  everyone to use

Can't live with 'em; can't live without 'em. I've come across random map claimers by basically doing nothing. Once, my friend and I were hanging around this random den and all of a sudden this group of sparklewolfiez runs up and basically screeches that it's their territory (with a few cuss words here and there..), leaps on my hyena cub character and kills her then kills my friend's  fully grown wolf character.

Map claimers are usually new or more younger players, as I've found out.
But still they can be quite annoying if you don't block them. e.e

Thankfully, I haven't come across many map claimers, even though I spend all my online time in Flourite. XD

I was part of my brothers clan and we were staying in a Temp Map while ours was getting finished. It was a public map and we happened to be in the same camp as DuskClan. They harassed my Clan Members and wouldn't leave us alone. They kept saying that it was their Role Plays map. The entire clan told them nicely  that it was a Public Map. We then decided to go wait in Last Cave for the map to be done. -.-

Could have reported them for that. If the custom map was made for the use of the public, it's strictly against the rules for players to claim it as their own.

It's sad that people like to ruin other users' experience playing the game by bothering them, powerplaying, and claiming public maps. :c

Gotta love the map-claimers. Most are Warrior Cats (I subject to being one of them that mapclaims) who are all like, "Get out of ____Clan's camp, now, or we'll kill you!" Yes, yes, even if you could and the other player who was following the rules was like no, you still have to ask permission to kill somebody's character. Besides that fact, there shouldn't be a fight anyways over a public map. Seems silly, doesn't it, now?

Man. I hate map claimers, though territories in ROLEPLAY I'm okay with, truly. Only if it's roleplay, of course. Also, note to those WC roleplayers: In the warrior code, it says you don't have to kill to win a battle, so it's a bit unrealistic to roleplay as a warrior when ya do that, though it's fine.
Not trying to be mean, though. You can kill sometimes, not all the time... (Crosses fingers for no one to yell at me)
Also, back on-topic, it does seem a bit silly to claim a public map. It's even more silly if it's Flourite, because it seems like they just want attention sometimes, because how many people there are.
It's more than obvious who made it, too. :3

Ah, The good old Map claiming and power playing.
As all of you have said about your storys I may aswell share one.

I was on RiverLeaf (My Med cat) The first med cat I have roleplayed and I was with my new clan rigt.
After about five minutes there was a meeting held and was about alliances.
Thats when all madness went loose. Cats started caps spamming and everything, Also.... Putting there own leader down for what choice he made!
Some App committed suicide over it and the rest just attacked eachother.
I was left to sit there with this face on.'O.O' This is why I don't RP WC's anymore unless asked kindly by others I am close too >.<

That's the reason why the only wc rp's I've ever joined were on private maps. I also usually hang around flourite on my fox char, mainly because it's fun to see how many times I can get attacked randomly by the wc rps. When you've been powerplayed as many times as I have, you realize that it's just so ridiculous that it's actually funny sometimes.

Ha, Well, I recon Bonfire has the most power players.
I was sitting on the rock tip and some Zira charas (Yes I was swarmed) just apparently pushed me off the rock and stuffs like in the movie. May I also ad.... I wasn't on a LK chara >.<
