Kioth are a type of big cat related to the african lion. (I made up the Kioth) it looks like my signature and avatar. I will even post a full picture!

They live in the temperate regions of North and South America. They are nocturnal, and usually hunt right after dusk.
They eat White tailed deer, Black bear, rabbits, fish, and some reptiles. They are excellent climbers, which makes up for them not being very fast, and live in groups of 3-5. they are very aggressive when they are eating. and if there is a dispute, there will be death. these creatures are estimated to be in only the hundreds in population. so they are pretty rare. they are also excellent mothers and fathers, if there is a large hawk nearby, looking for a cub to snack on, the parents will fight off the hawk if they can, or pick up the cub, and take it swiftly to the den they dug out. They are den diggers for safety reasons as well as for a fighting advantage. Sticking a paw into a seemingly empty hole is dangerous. both males and females have manes, females' manes are lighter colored than the males' manes. and their tails are puffy and long, like a snow leopard's. They are very big, smaller than a bengal tiger and larger than a lion. making one of the largest cats. they are well adapted for winter environments also! they grow a winter coat when it first starts to snow, and when spring arrives, they rub it off on trees or bushes. they are very territorial too. Marking their territory with a strong smelling urine. the males sometimes use pheromones when marking to attract a mate.
The kioth is my favorite species that I made so far. and also, I have a Zoo tycoon 2 download of this animal for you to use in your zoo! if you have zoo tycoon 2 that is.

Also, I like how both males and females have manes because that's pretty cool.

I did not draw it, It is from Feline Maker which is on some sites like DollDivine.
Yeah I also think that the males and females should both have manes. Since they do live in areas where there is winter and cold.

This looks really cool! I noticed the little "feline maker" window/pop-up in the center of the image, so I decided to search it and made my own fluffy Kioth! :D The species sounds interesting and if there's an rp I would love to join :D And if there isn't an rp, maybe you should make one ^^
