Title: I know this question has been asked a million times before but...
Post by: kitn4me on April 23, 2013, 06:00:23 pm
My FH crashes every time I load my Height map. Here is everything I did:
It's in Grayscale (made with GIMP)
It's 513 height and width
It has an unusual name
I wanted to put it in it's own folder but every time I would load it it wouldn't be found
What am I doing wrong?

AND It's in the C:\FeralHeart\media\terrains folder. Should it be in a different folder?

I'm not really sure /why/ it's doing that but an easy way to fix it is, open the height map in gimp. Then go to your terrains folder and find the heightmap called 'Watermill' and open it up in gimp also. Copy and paste your heightmap over the watermill heightmap and then save it as whatever you want. Then try typing it in. That /should/ work, always has for me. If not, just replace the watermill file with it. :P

Try putting the file in Feral Heart>Exports
It has always worked for me when I make maps, hopefully it'll work for you. ^.^
