Title: how do you make a map?

I don't know how to make a map but I want to make a mapped warrior cat clan what should I do?

First you'll need some sort of art program to work with. I suggest either GIMP or Photoshop. If you don't have either of those you can download them here:

GIMP- http://www.gimp.org/ (http://www.gimp.org/)

Or go to Manual (under the large changing picture) and scroll down to the section on map making. Everything you should need should be covered.

Hi I was hoping someone here could help me with the actual up loading of the map so I can rp with my friends? See, my friend made one and its not working at all when i try to download it. It doesn't show the portal in the Cape. Could someone give me another tutorial of putting the files in a zip please?

What exactly are you doing when you download it? Are you sure you're installing it properly? Try following this video tutorial:

Make sure you restart your Feralheart game after installing a map to prevent crashes ;)
