"Psst, Meg." Meg perked her ears but didn't open her eyes.
                 
                 She knew exactly who it was. She wasn't prepared to speak with him. Meg felt his cold nose tap the side of her

muzzle, trying to wake her. She let out a warning growl. "Go away, Kyle."

                He flinched away. "I'm so sorry. I know you saw me and Mel- the female. Her name is Akkirian, my sister.

                I'm moving. Well, leaving."

                "Why!?" Asked Meg. "Please, don't go!" She couldn't hide the desperation in her voice.

                "Your alpha. He's attacking us. He did this to me." Kyle turned and revealed his entire rear end full of scars

and gashes.

                Meg gasped. The war has already begun.
