Title: Meshes disappearing?
Post by: Nekolover on May 21, 2013, 03:59:44 am
I have several meshes, mostly tree, rock and some nobplant meshes that disappear when I log in and check out my maps on my characters. They show up perfectly fine when i'm in map maker, but are gone afterwards. They are not ingame meshes that came with the game download, I had downloaded them from mediafire from people on this site who made them.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

This usually happens when you save them in an old object group, including the default groups. Try saving them all in a new object group. You can delete the old objects after placing the new ones in the map with the old ones.

So you're saying that I should move the objectss that are disappearing into a new object group. But how? Going into my feral-heart files? Wouldn't it delete the ones in the map, or no?
Plus thank you for your help. :)

Perhaps I wasn't being clear.
Are your objects in an old object group such as the default ones, for example, MyPlants, Default, MyRocks, and all the default ones really, or an old object group. If this is the problem, make a new object group and put the stuff you're using for this map in it.

Ohh, I see. So then yes, some of the objects are in MyRocks & MyTrees.

Remove them and put them in a new object group, then. After that, replace them in your map.
This should help~
