Title: Strange problem with the HEIGHT MAP! Please help!
Post by: vasileva on May 27, 2013, 03:59:44 pm
So I just made a Height map for a pack, but it seems everytime I try it on FeralHeart it crashes. I have made like a hundred of maps but I have never had this kind of a problem. Any suggestions? It's 513x513, png. Oh, and here's the map : (http://i43BannedImageSite/28bs2mh.png)

Try cropping it to 512x512
Make sure it's in greyscale mode,
and sometimes switching from .jpg to .png or whichever way it needs to go works too.

And make sure that you didn't save the map picture with multiple layers, as Feral Heart will crash if it has more than one layer.

Did you edit the defaultTerrain.png instead of creating a new file?

Hm..it looks like the background layer is still there. Feral Heart does technically count that as a layer, so maybe you should try and delete the background?
