Title: Story Contest?

I was wondering if we could have a story contest like we do for art.  I know that it would take longer because people would have to read the stories but I think it would be fun.

I think this is a wonderful idea because when it comes to art as in drawings, it's much more difficult and takes a skill that you're not taught as strongly as language is. Granted, being a good writer is still no walk in the park by no means, but still; having a contest for stories is a contest open to more people.

I do hope this is implemented sometime. ?

I think this is a great idea. Like if they gave us a prompt or something to write about. I may not be the best writer, but I do love seeing what others like to write about. Wonderful idea!

It's an interesting idea. Not totally sure if there was a contest similar to this in the past though. I have seen some user(s) with a Best Writer award on their profile. I like the idea though. I think it would be even more fun if users created short legend like stories about the land of FH and then other users get to vote for which legend they like best. Meh just a thought ^^ Creative ideas though here guys.

There actually was a story/writing contest at one point in the past, but that was back before I very active on the forum (xD), therefore I don't remember very much about it. If it received/receives enough good attention and had good participation (or those intending to participate), it's possible that one of these could happen again in the future.
Don't hold us to it, but I do think it is a nice idea~

Aye, I believe there has been a writing contest before in the past due to the fact I've seen an individual or two wearing that reward of 'Best story writer' as well. I think it'll be a nice contest. It'll give those individuals who aren't as skilled in artwork but skilled in literacy a chance to show what they've got.
