Ok first of all, before we start i need to list off the most important rule for this thread.

Don't get angry at other people

And i'm serious, be nice, even if you hate their opinion, just don't say anything if you can't say anything nice to them.

Alright here's my rant

Oh gosh...People who sit on you when you are afk, its so annoying and inappropriate.

Your turn! write about what you dislike the most about (The Community, Roleplay Styles, Wolfspeak, Etc.)

Map claimers. Had a bad experience in Flourite a very long time ago.
Why can't they just get off their lazy butts and make their own map for crying out loud!
"Not everyone can download maps!" People should learn some how, or at least stop the darn map claiming, or even go somewhere unpopular! Geez.
People need to read the rules a bit more often, no? >_<

I am so happy there's a rant thread here... I can get something off my chest here.
There's more, I am sure, too. >_< Though map claimers are one thing...

Ugh. Just joined a MLP group with multiple literacy levels, which is fine. But suddenly, Wolfspeak. And people claiming that Wolfspeak = literate RP. *flips all the tables* I won't go on, because the rant I could write about Wolfspeak would take up a whole book's worth of writing.

There's more, I am sure, too. >_< Though map claimers are one thing...

I haven't had a problem with map claimers yet, lets pray i won't >.<

I absolutely HATE the people in Bonfire who talk like this.

Me: She walks up to the lion, purring, and says "Hello, Akita!"
Akita: "hi sakura. how r u 2day?"
Me: Disconnects because of bad grammar.

(Names are made up.)
It's such a hassle to RP with these guys! I don't bother. I'll go to Sky's Rim instead!

Ranting is fun but I've done loads of that, so I'll just list a few things that are annoying but at the same time kind of funny.

1) People that randomly cuddle up to you like you've known them all your life when they are complete strangers, then you move away and they make a :"( face. Like I'm the bad guy!

2) When there is no RP that takes your fancy, so you try to make one and no one joins...

3) When you live in a cave people are already in, they nicely ask you to leave but you don't want to, so they kill you.

4) When none of your friends are online, so you try to make some but no one else in the whole of FH at that moment speaks English.

5) *Just F3ing around seeing what there is to see, going back to my character now* How did I move all the way over here?!!!

6) When you see an ad for a RP then three people instantly post asking if an RP like that is available.

i.e

<Wolf RP person> Literate, mappless wolf RP recruiting now. Whisper me or meet me at stone bridge!

<Blind person1> Any mappless wolf RP's?

<Idon'tseeads55> Any wolf packs want a male wolf in their RP whisper me!

<Lol997> Y NU WOLFS RP!!!!!!!! sorry caps WHISPA ME!!!!

7) Last one now! When someone starts talking to you and you have no idea who they are, then you realize it's someone you deleted from your friends list ages ago.

I hate those disrespectful trolls who come out of no where.

I was just talking to friend who is new to the community in South Pole when someone decides to comment on her incorrect grammar. He goes on about how he can't understand her and how he thought mature people only came on here.

First off, she has an old keyboard and computer which is difficult to work with.

Second, she is new to the game and possibly new to multiplayer so she doesn't feel like she has to spell out and type everything right.

Third, most can still understand her.

Forth, she has lag. I can tell by her double letters and I asked her.

Fifth, she didn't do anything to you.


Trolls don't really realize how stupid and selfish they can be. Some are funny but most of them can be mindless.

Okay... there are a few things I hate to see out in this community. Here is my rant list of things I hate...

1.) Trolls that come around and disrupt a roleplay. It's worse when they come disrupt it with their powerplaying.

2.) People who think they are better than others because they have "oh so perfect roleplaying skills". I've seen it happen a few times. One time someone thought they were better than me and some friends because our roleplaying ways were not like hers. She said in qoute "You guys are a bunch of idiots! I'm going to go find a mapped RP where people really know how to roleplay!" and she stormed off. Luckily, I took enough screenshots of her and her swearing and sent them to a mod.

3.) People who harshly judge and criticize other people's roleplay skills/style. One time someone said to me, "THat's all you have to say? Just five words in your RP post? You're not literate, you're pathetic!"

4.) Trolls that go around correcting other people's grammar mistakes and typos. I've seen people call someone illiterate or have terrible grammar all because of one little typo.

5.) Map claimers, nuff said.

6.) Godmodders and powerplayers..... nuff said.

7.) People who make fun of another person's character(s) based on appearances, color, species, etc. Does it really matter what the character looks like, or what species it is?

8.) People who post hateful topics/posts on the forums just to make people mad/sad. I've seen a few posts on these forums that bashed/flamed certain roleplays, fanbases, species, groups, RP skills, etc. Pretty much they were made to upset people and cause more of a debate than a discussion. Luckily, the threads were taken down by mods and we just all forgot that it ever happened.

9.) Mini-mods and mod wanna-bes. You know, the ones who impersinate a moderator, act all bossy, and pretend to have game or forum powers. I've seen a few hang around out in the general chats, especially in Flourite Plains.

10.) People who automatically claim you as their mate (It's happened to me before, and I've seen it happen to friends o_o) It's worse when they get all upset and start up some drama because you don't want them as a mate.

11.) People who roleplay as a specific species of animal, but don't know what they are doing. (example: a cheetah that can roar, or a fox that can hunt down elk, a wolf that uses it's claws to fight.) I especially don't like it when you try to educate them more about how the animal they are playing really behaves and lives, they get all defensive.

12.) People who complain about being banned or kicked. There have been a few of those topics in general chats and on the forums. Do people even bother to read the "No discussion of bans/kicks" rule anymore? And then some of them get mad at the mods for being banned for whatever reason. Well if you were to follow the rules of the game, you wouldn't be in this situation now would you?

That's all I can think of for now.

I so agree with that one!!! I used the cave near stone bridge once and a pup tried to make me leave. I said "Well I'm not going and in all honesty you're a pup and can't do anything about it anyway" it replied "I may be a pup but I still have teeth and claws!" I was just like... "Eh....." Pups cannot fight! When will they learn... ?

I've actually spotted two that were clearly obvious in the game. The characters had the word Admin or close to that word. And they acted like they game, followed the rules, and ended up being an attention hog. I've only been on the game for more than a week or so... I'm sure to find more. xD

 Aha, I hate weird RPs. Allow me to explain.
Ok, these weirdo Warrior Cat or Wolf roleplayers when RPing, they say the weirdest things.
Like, "RIPS OUT THROAT AND NO MISS" or... "TEARS OPEN DEER AND DEER DIES"
See what I mean? I suppose this is powerplay. Once I was a deer and two wolves were chasing me around and did this to me. Really, really, irksome. I don't come across these people much anymore though. These  people will hunt me in my dreams, -shiver-

I have plenty of rants -- too many to fit in this thread, infact -- though there is one that constantly bothers me.
When people advertise for a certain requirement, and yet the person(s) who join are no where near that.
For example, if there is an ad that is advertising:
[[NameOfThePackHere]]: A mapped, active, and literate to advanced literate wolf roleplay. Whisper [[Soandso]] to join. RP sample required.
Alright. So, there are multiple ways to go here.
Mapped.
<Owner of the Roleplay> - Adds to the group. - "Please go to the website to download the map."
<Person A> - Joins. - "Oh. A map? I can't download maps."
Or :: Literacy.
<Owner of the Roleplay> - Adds to the group. -
<Person B> - Downloaded the map, and goes to camp to roleplay. - [[Remember how it was a literate to advanced literate wolf roleplay? Well, this is how they speak:]] -te wulf walkd up 2 te alfa and asc 'can i go hunt plz-
Or :: Activeness.
<Owner of the Roleplay> - Adds to group. -
<Person C> "Okay. I have to go." - Disappears and never returns. -
Or [finally] :: RP samples.

That has happened to me before. I'm like,"Are you serious?" When they asked what an RP sample was I told them it was to show how literate you were or some variation fo that. Then they responded. "What's literate?" *facedesk* Do they just not read...or...? I'd think finding the person who advertised would be harder than reading and understanding an advertisement.

I personally hate when people do random RP fighting or invading. I also can't stand excessive cussing, spam, or any kind of 'instamating' or whatever they call it.

When people aren't willing to explain things to newer players. There's nothing more irritating then sitting by cape and listening to someone ask questions, and they're treated like an idiot. I went almost three months before someone bothered to explain to me in detail how to download maps, so I guess it's just a pet peeve of mine when I see people so unwilling to help.

I also don't like going to places like Bonfire and rping, for example, this is what I get:

Me: *The she-wolf strides over to the loner, her paws sinking into the damp, soggy earth. She flicks her ears in a friendly way while introducing herself,  "Why, hello wolf... What brings you here..?" She asks.

Them: Says Hi and wags tail.

Me: ....


This is why I'd rather go to Fluorite Plains or Sky's Rim. But that's just my opinion.  ;)

Another thing I can't stand are powerplayers... For example:

Me: Calmly lies down in the morning sun and basks.
Random Person: Tears throat out for no reason, no miss.
Me: .... Ok?

XD I have many more dislikes, but these are my least favorite.

D--> One of the many things I don't like is when people forget that we are human beings behind these computer screens. I'll give an example of what I mean.  I was chatting with people OOC on a WC character, there was this one person who was being really hateful toward me, wouldn't speak to me, and would constantly bring up the subject on how much he hated Warrior Cats. Well, I went to change characters (into a canine character) and came back to chat with the group again. As soon as I changed characters, this person acted different. He actually started speaking to me, getting all chummy, happy, friendly, and so on. Then when I told him I was the WC before, he was all like "o_O"
D--> It's not like I am a cat in real life. It's just a character I was on while chatting with people OCC. And that's not the first time it happened to me either.

D--> I also hate it when people start blurting out and ranting out how much they hate a certain group of roleplayers; WC roleplayers, TLK roleplayers, HTTYD roleplayers, etc.
