Title: Why is registration closed?

I've looked all over and can't find an answer as to why registration is closed 90% or more of the time. Apparently it's up at random times, but why? I don't understand why new users can't register at all times. In fact, I have never personally seen it up except quite awhile ago when I joined FeralHeart. Why is this?

"As most of you have probably noticed we have a lot of new users appearing here in FH all the time. You've also probably noticed that the server isn't completely happy with so many users. So to slow things down a touch, I've placed some time restrictions on user registrations. Registrations will now be opened and closed at random for you; with accounts this should make little difference unless you have a friend you want to sign up. In which case they will need to check back from time to time until registrations are open.

Hopefully this will make things somewhat smoother for everyone.

The registration is open for two hours once it does open.

Anyway to know what hrs of the day it stays open before it closed? I've asked my friends months back and recently asked them again. But i don't know how long before they get upset for not being able to join.  :( :'(

When asking questions, it's generally best to make your own question thread or PM a mod.

However, as it's been stated, registration opens randomly at any time of day. Even our server master, Razmirz, couldn't tell you the next time it'll open. The key is just for your friends to keep checking into the forum every couple of hours (getting up in the morning, after school, and so on), and they will find registration open. It just takes persistence. c:

So long as they keep checking in, they will find the site open.

They used to get hundreds of new members daily, as we all know our server dosnt like
So many members, and it slows things down a lot. Raz is doing his best to keep it
Running smoothly, and he can't if the server overloads,
