I'm confused about downloading some meshes I found. I'm still a bit of a newbie at this game, so I've never downloaded meshes before. I'm fine with maps and items, I was just a still confused about where to put the files for these.
I found some converted Spyro and Cynder meshes in this topic (http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=22971.0). Once I downloaded them and unzipped the files, I looked at the ReadMe and it told me to move the files over to 'my_objects' and add some coding to one of my object files. I don't understand how I can add coding to my object files, and other mesh downloading tutorials I've looked at have said to put the files in different places.
Could someone please tell me what I should do? Is the method for downloading meshes the same every time, or is it different depending on the type of mesh?

Please could someone help me solve this? I need to know how to download meshes.

Okay, this is easy. Just click the link and click download. Then, click save, and put the objects in your my objects file, which is located in C:>FeralHeart>Meida>Obects>My_Objects. Hope this helped!
Note: Please don't double post, someone will answer your question!

I apologise for double posting. I just saw that several other new threads had already received replies, whereas mine hadn't; I was simply worried that my question wouldn't be seen once it came off the front page yesterday. I will heed your advice.
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it doesn't answer my question. Maybe I wasn't clear enough when writing my first post, but I already did that and it doesn't seem to have done anything. I'm actually a little unsure as to what they are. I assumed these were characters that you could play in-game, like presets, but maybe they're just models for use in the map maker...
Anyway, the thing I'm confused about is adding coding to my object files. Like I said, every other tutorial I've looked at for downloading meshes doesn't involve that.

First of all, objects, such as the Spyro and Cynder ones, cannot be used as presets or characters. Only meshes, that can be used simply for map making. I hope that bit is clear.
Now, the coding issues I'm not very sure how to solve. My guess is that these meshes don't require coding, so you might consider looking for a readme file that came with all the meshes you downloaded. Just go to your downloads file, find the meshes, and then see if there's a readme. If there's not, message the creator of the meshes and ask for a tutorial.
It's alright, everyone double posts sometimes. Just be aware of it in the future, as it is considered SPAM. (Stupid, pointless, annoying messages) Cheers! ;)
