 ;D Here is my post on my ideas and such! I have a few ideas...some may not make sense...some may not actually be possible. But it's the thought that counts of course! ^3^

1. Why not have a special local map only meant for advertising RP?

This map doesn't really have to be all that special; just a simple map where people can go to advertise their groups and such. I think it would be an interesting thing to try out - and maybe it could be tested by like; recent MOTS and MODS before it is open to the local community or something.

2. Actions

Why not have more actions? Maybe something that would look like nuzzling if your character was positioned correctly; or possibly an attack action? I know very well Kovu wanted FH to be realistic when FH was being created; so why not have an action or something were if you are bigger then someone else - you can pick them up like a pup? Of course with this so we don't have trolls picking up random people a message would be sent to the person being picked up asking them for permission to be picked up. :D

3. Emotes

Why can't it be made where if you have custom emotions that you are using - other people can see them? I know it can be annoying when others can't see the emotion you  are using after all.

SO those are some of my recent ideas...I know thanks to the fact that we don't have Kovu anymore things are a bit more hard and we can't have true updates - but I do still think they would be great ideas; and I have faith in our staff! Even the staff who aren't with anymore...

Actually, someone has already made a quite unique public map that is strictly used for advertising. It's called Clockwork Islands though you'll find more information about it below:

Even though it hasn't been tested out by the MOTS or MODs, I find it rather unique so here I am, spreading the word about it.
As for your other ideas, I find them quite interesting. It'll be good additions to the game.

Okay - So I do already know that there has been a map created for advertising and what not now thanks to Vespian. But my friend made another really good map for advertising. It has places for packs/prides/armies/cults as well and even a place for loners. There is a special place for advertising too so don't miss out!

I'll have to check out that map sometime, it sounds pretty intresting :D Sadly actions can't be added to the game since the original game creator, Kovu, left. Why? Because he took the game's source code with him, and without the code nothing can be updated majorly to the game unless he comes. The same with emotes, though if they were possible it would be a lot of codding. Other than that they are some great ideas ;)

Yup. I know why it can't be done; but if some way or another the staff managed to get the source again - whetehr they get in touch with Kovu and get it from him or if Kovu come back; then all of the ideas given will be right here in the discussion board :)

Yes; my fellow floof - people have made custom emotions; though wouldn't it be wonderful if the people around you who don't have the same custom emotes as you do could see your emote? I noticed the other day that my floofies around me couldn't see the emotes I was using because they were custom ones. o3o

You have a good point there, I don't usually download custom emotes for this reason unless a roleplay I'm in recommends them or something. xD

But this would be useful I suppose. Maybe someone coudl (With the emote creator's permission of course!) make a massive a file with all the emotes but people would still have to download it and replace the emote file with teh downloaded one manually.

Actually turtles; there is no need to download the motes! ^3^ As long as you have the codes for the emotes there is no need to download a file. :) As I always do: Find the codes and add them to emotes file in my feral folder - no download needed; just copy and paste the codes and then go in game with your new custom emotions :). Though it has come to my attention that not all emotes work; and some will crash FH - so you must be careful and delete any emotions that crash the game.

I have actually thought before to make a post in which people can share their custom emotions on; though I havn't had the chance to create such a topic as I have been busy with other things the past few days.

That's not particularly true. Even if Kov may be gone, some of the members of the community do bestow the skills to create more markings, meshes, items, maps, emotes, etc. So you technically can get new stuff. Just by the members though.

Making items, meshes, objects, presets, maps, ect takes time..and when it comes to items, markings, and emotes it takes a lot of coding. Of course with music it takes a lot of coding as well. With Kovu gone we can't have any true updates for the game; though with all of our fellow floofs we can have new add ons and such.

It is nice ideas though the emotes will not be done, Therefor Kovu took the source code to the game with him.
