Title: Map Maker Is Not Working! Please Help!
Post by: cheech on August 06, 2013, 02:08:50 pm
Whenever I try to use Map Maker it says, FeralHeart.exe has stopped working microsoft is looking for a solution. Then it says, FeralHeart.exe has stopped working. A problem has caused it to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if there is a solution. It started doing this right after I first used Map Maker so, I only got to do it once without failing. Please help!

Try switching your rendering system to Direct3D9 by going to Options > Video > Rendering subsystem and selecting Direct3D9. Once you've done that re launch FH and if your map maker is still crashing, then restart your PC too for it to take affect.

Not working?

Right click the FeralHeart icon and select 'Troubleshoot compatibility' then wait for it to search for the problem and the solution. Good luck!

I've had this problem quite often. For me, it's often to do with the maps I've created so I'm forced to delete any recent ones I've made and then restart my computer.
It normally fixes the problem, but I've not made many maps before so as Buffy said, try switching your rendering system to Direct3D9. And if that doesn't work, I'm honestly stuck with how to help you. D:

You never know though, It could be something really silly and easy to fix c:
Good luck ^.^

Thank you so much for the help! (Haha this is super late) The computer I was on had "problems", so I got a new computer and I'm no longer having trouble with this. But if this happens again, I'll know what to do :)
