Title: Heightmap "render" issues... FIXED
Post by: kopat on August 28, 2013, 07:54:38 pm
Every time I use the "render" tool on Gimp for a heightmap, my FH game crashes once it's loaded into the game. It's 513x513, grayscale, and .png, so whats wrong?

Yes make sure there are no layers or alpha channel, Redlinelies states that in his video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTO8tyhSQPU (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTO8tyhSQPU)
If you do want layers, you will have to flatten them.

If you do want layers, you will have to flatten them.

Flattening the layers WILL NOT WORK for some reason.

---------
Make sure that if, you made more than 1 layer and you flattened them, firstly save as .jpg and then .png. I'm sure it will work this time! Good luck :)
