Ones who should be extinct. As they drag you in you try and snap at the strange people dragging you into the place. It smells horrible, the stench of the dirty uncleaned cages hits you like a brick wall. The toss you into a cage and lock it tight. There seems to be no escape. From another room You can hear fierce growls and cheering. One wolf next to you in a cage looks sadly at you. "This place is horrible. In the other room they drag us in and have us fight. They bet money and throw meat in too." The wolf tells you.

(Interesting. c: )

Name: Creon

Species: Dire Wolf

Age: 3

Gender: Male

Personality: Arrogant, careless, nonchalant and short fused, Creon is thick-headed and stubborn. He's quite lazy and isn't necessarily the sharpest tool in the shed. He is often disrespectful, yet "flirty," and cares only for himself and his own personal gain. While normally pretty care-free about everything, it doesn't take much to light his fuse. He gets joy from mocking others, and finds humor in the simplest things.

Other: He has a thick Cockney/British accent. (Why? Cause that accent is sexy.) ;3

((Ill start)) Suriko sat in one of the many dirty old cages. There wasn't much room in any of them. Some of the larger wolves couldn't even sit up in their cages. Even though the room was barely lit Suriko could see the two doors leading to the fighting arena. The room containing row after row of cages was noisy with the the sounds of whimpering howling, growling and other noises of the many terrified wolves, and yet her friend Darkie managed to fall asleep. Darkie was in the cage next to Suriko, Suriko lightly shook her head. She laid down in the cage and put her head on her paws. She closed her eyes but she didn't go to sleep.

Creon lay in the back of his small, cramped cage, his hind end to the door. Head between his forepaws, he   had been lazily dozing, as always, for the past hour or so. He never had much trouble falling asleep, even in extremely loud places such as this. He hadn't been at this place long, and had yet to see what lay behind the huge doors where the humans brought wolves out. The smaller wolf in the cage right next door to his was pacing in tight circles yet again, in another uneasy escape attempt, this time resorting to mindlessly gnawing at the metal bars and growling loudly. Creon scrunched his eyebrows and rubbed his ear with a forepaw in annoyance. "Oh knock it off, would ya? Chewin' on the damn bars ain't gonna do anyfin'. So pop off 'fore you break a tooth." He grumbled to the stranger. The smaller wolf backed away from the bars with a whimper and returned to its pacing, still visibly fearful of this place. Bloody new arrivals. Creon growled to himself. Even though he hadn't even been here long, himself, the new arrivals tended to tick him off with their loud cries and escape attempts.

The two double doors burst open. It was very bright in the room. A tall man walked through the doors and then the doors closed again. He looked at the cages to see which wolf would go in next. Suriko knew what it meant when the man didn't bring the previous wolf back- it had been killed. The man eyed the cages still seeing which would be taken next.

Now that his annoying neighbor had finally quieted down, Creon returned to his semi-peaceful sleeping. Suddenly, the slamming of the large double doors made the brute scramble to his feet and accidentally hit his head on the low ceiling of the cage in his haste. Murmuring a few snappy curses, he shook his head and turned around in the cage to see what was going on. Squinting to see in the bright light until his pupils adjusted, he flattened his ears at the sight of the humans. Keeping his head low, he backed up until his hindquarters made contact with the cage wall at the back. He curled his lips away from his canines in a steady unwavering snarl, eyes locked on the two-leggeds as they moved up and down the rows.

The man looked at the cages still. He stopped in front of Suriko's cage but then kept walking. He walked to the cage next to Creon. He opened the cage door and grabbed the wolf by the scruff yanking it out of the cage. He  dragged it through the double doors.

Creon's snarling grew louder as the man approached. With a bark, he snapped his jaws together as a warning. But the man instead went for the small wolf he had snapped at earlier. His growling ceased, replaced by surprise and confusion as the canine was dragged from the cage by the scruff and taken into the bright room. His eyes raked the ground for a second as if searching for answers. "Wot the hell's goin' on?" He grumbled to himself, padding to the front of the cage to glance aroudn at the other fearful faces of the others. "Where's 'e takin' 'em?" He barked a bit louder in confusion, his heavy accent distorting his words as usual.

((Thanks ;3))

A growl rumbled in Adro's throat as the human calmly walked in, his eyes gazing from one cage to the other. When he stopped near her cage, anger rushed through the wolf as a snarl rippled out of her mouth. Spitting, she thrusted herself against the bars of the cages, her jaws snapped as she tried to grasp the human's fingers, cloak - anything. But instead, the human let out a squeaky laugh, before moving on. Frustrated, Adro's jaws ached from the bars, but her temper flailed as she hunched in her cage, breathing deeply as she stared at the bright back of the human. When the man suddenly grabbed the cage of a skinny wolf, Adro watched as the human dragged the wolf into a bright room, slamming the door shut. A light layer of darkness hung over them. Her ears perked when she heard a wolf ask what was happening, and a scoff escaped her maw.

"Silly accent." She snapped, turning to face the wolf, which was across from her. "Don't you know anything about this place? The beasts come and go, taking varies wolves with them. They force us to fight against each other. They throw in stupid meat and make bets on us." She snarled, her claws scraping against the cage floor. "There can only be one survive." Adro growled, her eyes gleaming as she glared at the wolf with the accent.

Helian stretched out on her belly, comfortable despite the tightness of the cage she was confined in. Her eyes immediately shut against the bright light as it filled the room, and her ears perked up at the sound of thudding footsteps echoing against the tile floors. The sounds hung over her for a few seconds before the screeching of a cage snapped her attention, and her eyes fluttered open in time to see a wide-eyed wolf being dragged out. The door slammed shut, jolting her heart and sending darkness banging into them.

An uneasy silence fell over the room before a heavy accent broke it. A frown tugged at Helian's face - she was barely able to make out the words, but when she finally did, she heard Adro's familiar rasps snapping a reply. Annoyance prickled in her pelt. Why did the wolf always have to be such a grumpy old coon? She raised her voice, directing her dripping words at Adro. "Isn't it rather dangerous to use your entire vocabulary in a few sentences?" she growled, not caring if she was rude. She was tired of the wolf's attitude, and when she grew sick of someone, she tended to stop being nice to them for a moment in an attempt to release her trapped feelings. It was a cruel method - she understood that - but there were times when enough was enough.

Adro glared at Helian, her eyes narrowing. Such a silly name for a wolf, she reflected, her temper flaring as she scowled. "Shut up. I don't want to hear any of your crappy talk." She muttered, glaring around her as she stretched out in her tight cage. Muttering a few words about crappy humans, she closed her eyes, willing to get some rest as she heard the familiar cheers of the beasts as the wolves fought.

Helian rolled her eyes. Not caring if the wolf heard or not, she muttered, "I believe it's only you that needs to shut up." She frowned at the thick black bars of the cage that held her in, and she ran her tongue along the cool metal, tasting the salt of human sweat from the fingers that had touched her prison. She drew back her tongue, refusing herself the enjoyment of such an activity before resting her head in between her paws. She closed her eyes against the darkness, and one of her ears twitched at the rowdy cheers and roars seeping through the thin walls. Sick humans, she thought. They'll draw out entertainment in any way they can, even if it means the spilled blood of innocents. She wondered if all the wolves were as innocent as she thought them to be. Perhaps they had spilled some bad deeds along the way against humans that caused them to be hooked into captivity and slammed into these tight quarters. Or maybe it was entirely the humans' fault?

Humans, Helian decided. It's always the humans.

Creon narrowed his eyes at the dire in the cage across the aisle from him. "As a matter 'a fact, I don't know anyfin' about this place." He murmured at her first remark. "In case you 'aven't noticed, sweetheart, I ain't been here for very long." He added in a snappy, sarcastic tone, lowering down to his haunches and perking his ears to listen to the rest of the stranger's explanation. "Fightin'? Pff. That's wot everyone's makin' such a big deal over?" He huffed with a gruff laugh. "That ain't a big deal. 'Less ya can't defend yourself. 'Sides, they throw meat in, you said. I wouldn't mind tyin' some opponent in a knot for some easy food. Sure is a lot better than 'avin' to catch it yourself." He said nonchalantly, slipping down to his belly on the cold metal floor of his cage. "Just fink about it. All's you 'ave to do is take on some easy mutt, then you get free food thrown at ya. I don't see why everyone's freakin' out so much." He raised his eyebrows absent mindedly as he finished his dim-witted reasoning.

The brute perked his ears as another nearby fae spoke up, snapping at the one he had spoken to. His eyes darted from one canine to the other, following their verbal assault on each other. Scrunching his muzzle, he smirked a bit in amusement, then rested his head back down on his forepaws.

Adro glared at the brute's reply, wrinkling her muzzle in disgust. "I can see why you're so inexperienced." She muttered. "If you think it's so easy, you don't you give it a go? Let's hope some human walks by and dumps you in the fighting range." She growled, annoyed with how the brute thought life here was so easy. I wish it were. At the last remark of the male, she shook her head. "Son, not every mutt is easy." Adro replied, tucking her muzzle under her paw.

A quiet sigh laced with exasperation escaped Helian's maw as worry bound her chest so tightly that she could barely breathe. She held no desire to talk to any of the wolves here - well, perhaps a short conversation here and there with some of them - and she often spent her time observing the cage, but impatience was snapping at her throat today. She abruptly scrambled to her paws and circled the cage for a few seconds before sniffing at the door that only the humans were able to open. Such a curious invention, she thought. Unfortunately, it was also very effective in keeping her where the humans wanted her to be.

Even if Helian was able to find her way out of the cage, she wasn't sure if she would be able to completely escape the large building. She had no idea how to navigate through the long hallways and twisting corridors while the path was firmly imprinted and familiar with the humans, making it easier for them to corner her and throw her back in the cage, perhaps with even more protection to prevent her from attempting such an escape again. Frustration overwhelmed the wolf, and she wrinkled her nose before starting to quietly lick the bars again, a bad habit she had formed during her time here. Although she only did that when she was worried or angry, she knew she had to stop.

Helian's ears perked up as she listened to Adro's respond. She wouldn't admit it, but she did agree with the wolf - life here wasn't all fun and games. You couldn't just expect to be able to defeat every wolf easily. Besides, the meat wasn't that good at all, although it did fill her stomach whenever she won it. "You'll eventually see how hard it is," she said kindly to the wolf, even though she didn't feel kind at all right now. "But ... just keep swimming, just keep swimming! La da da da da."

((Just kidding. Ignore the last sentence.))

((Lol))

Adro nodded at Helian's response, agreeing with the canine. Sighing, she rested her head on her paws, keeping her eyes opened as she watched the door which the human and the wolf had disappeared through. A agonized howl could be heard as cheers erupted, along with clapping and stomping. Adro closed her eyes, knowing that one of the wolves had died. Muttering under her breath, she opened them as the cheering faded, and human language bursted into her ears. Uninterested, she tried to block out the words as she sighed, glancing around the room.

XD))

Creon gazed up at the female across the way as she responded. "Heh, alright, then." He responded with a careless shrug. "We'll see 'bout that." The brute added casually, tapping his tail against the steel flooring of his cage. "I'm reaaaal intimidated." He chuckled sarcastically, rolling his eyes at both faes' dark outlook on things. "Well, as much as I'd just loovvee to continue talkin' wif you two- I really wouldn't. So I'm gonna, y'know, tune you out 'an get some sleep." He murmured with a careless smirk, curling up so he was facing away from them. "Bloody cowards." He muttered under his breath, but quickly let out a content huff and flickered his eyelids closed. As he had gotten comfortably, the piercing howl and cheering shattered his peaceful state, making him jerk his head up and glance around. Shaking his head, he let out a disinterested sigh and put his head back down.

The faint outline of a smirk fluttered on Helian's lips at the male's disinterested tone. Oh, he'd see how hard things really were once his ugly little butt was dragged out there. Judging by his appearance, he'd probably win a few battles, but once he was placed against a larger mutt, perhaps he'd finally see the situation with the same pair of eyes as Helian and Adro had. She glanced at the wolf as he stretched out to sleep. "May the stupid fight be ever in your favor," she sighed, shaking her head before beginning to lick the bars again. I hope he realizes it soon, she thought, before it's too late for him. Although there were some wolves she couldn't stand in here, she still had a soft spot for all of them. After all, they were her own kind, and she would be nothing without them.

A growl rose in her throat as the roars increased in volume, and Helian was barely able to restrain herself from the urge to angrily thrash her body in the cage. She knew it would do no good for her, and it wouldn't bring the lost wolf back to life. She couldn't help but wonder who it was that had fallen today, and she assumed it was the small wolf that had been dragged out a few moments ago. He didn't really seem like the best fighter, she thought with a twinge of regret. I still hope he's okay.

Creon let out a huff and returned to his unusually peaceful slumber, quickly drifting into unconsciousness. Meanwhile, the same double doors flung open, sending the same bright light beams into the dark room. The mindless chattering from inside the light-filled arena faded as the double doors swung closed again. A few men began pacing through the rows and rows of cages, eyeing each individual as they passed. Once again, they were looking to select the next to contenders for their demented fight match.

Adro let out another snarl as the doors suddenly burst open, and a tall man strolled in, scanning the room as if it was searching for its prey. When the man came closer to her, a growl rumbled in her throat as the man placed a finger on her cage. Without thinking, Adro darted forward, snapping her jaws where the man's hand was, feeling the tender skin as she tasted a hint of blood. The human let out a yelp as it jerked back, clutching its finger. Satisfied, Adro licked her maw. She had only given the man a small cut on the finger, and that had sent the human squealing off. A smirk came on her face as the man began to wrap something around it, and soon the blood disappeared. The other men seemed not to have noticed or cared and were busy inspecting the wolves. How long will this occur? she wondered, bristling as the same man cautiously screeched the cage off of the platform. Growling, she began to pace after the man, snapping whenever he dared to approach. As she was carried into the door, her ears flattened as she felt the warm presence of the beasts. Murmuring filled her ears, although she couldn't make out what they were saying. Shaking out her pelt, she averted her gaze around her, her eyes locked onto the middle of the platform, knowing that the area there would be the place where she would be forced to battle. Neck fur bristling, she awaited for her opponent, feeling a little nervous as she swallowed back her fear.

Exasperation filled Helian as blinding light streamed into the room once more. "Can't a wolf get some sleep?" she grumbled, blinking against the brightness and wishing for the black that soothed her eyes. Although the doors were constantly opened, her eyes would always protest, and she would find herself craving for darkness while her body ached for a taste of sunlight. A growl began to rise in her throat, but she shook her head and stared wearily at the cold metal floor pressing against her paws. She didn't care if she was picked or not - every day, she was just living the same dream over and over again. It didn't matter what happened - perhaps death would be better than lying curled up in this tiny cage where she wasn't allowed to move from it. It would be nice to be picked though because it meant she would be able to breathe in a different air, even if the oxygen she took in was tinged with the blood and sweat of former wolves. She would be able to stretch her legs and run around, even if it was for her own life. She really wasn't sure if she did want to be picked or not, but the wolf shook her large head again, concluding she didn't care as long as one of the two choices she made.

Another choice Helian wished that the humans would choose was to set the wolves free, but she knew that would probably never come true as long as people remained entertained by this sick dance - a dance of life and death that could go either way. She licked her paw to comfort herself and glanced at the bars of the cage, tempted to run her tongue over them again, but she decided against it, not wanting to attract too much unwanted attention.

The screeching of a cage filled Helian's ears, and she glanced up, surprised and slightly relieved she hadn't been picked. She approached the cage door and pressed her face against the bars in an attempt to see who had been chosen. The cool metal, still slightly damp from her tongue, pressed against her soft fur as her eyes scanned the room. She caught the glimpse of a human shadow stretching on the cages across from her, and she waited patiently as it became bigger and bigger till a tall man filled her vision. She caught a flash of a dull pelt, but it wasn't the color of the fur that she recognized. A pair of eyes filled with familiar, black anger glared at her, and she flinched, nearly jolting backwards as fear rammed her heart into her throat.

"Adro!" Helian yelped, but it came out only in a soft whisper. Desperation filled her as she watched the wolf in its cage be carried away, but she knew she could do nothing. Even if she despised the wolf's anger and snapped rude comments at her, she still held a soft spot for her, and she knew life would never be the same if Adro never came back. Helian's mouth felt dry, and for a moment, she couldn't speak, but she finally found her voice in time to bark, "Be safe!"

Before she could say anything else, the heavy door slammed shut, ending her sentence in an abrupt punctuation.

After a couple men took one wolf out, another began to walk down the aisle, gazing at each wolf as he passed. As he walked by the sleeping Creon's cage, he stopped and did a quick double take at the sleeping brute. A dark smirk crept across his face, remembering the female they had picked out's ferocity. "This one seems kinda lazy. It'll make for quite the entertainment to see it get torn apart by that vicious one." He said to the man beside him with a chuckle. With a cracked smirk, it popped the little lock on the cage, swinging the cage door open. Creon somehow failed to notice, laying in a content, deep slumber- that is, until the man snatched the scruff of his neck and stuffed a muzzle over his snout. The dire wolf's eyes shot open in confusion and surprise, not being able to fully open his maw only adding to the groggy panic. With a yelp of surprise, he thrashed his limbs to cling to the cage while the man dragged him out by the scruff. Snarling viciously, he reared and thrashed his body, desperately trying to bite hold of the man. The iron muzzle made it impossible to even open his jaws, making every bite attempt in vain. The men slipped a rope over his neck and tightened it until it was almost hard to breathe, quickly beginning to drag the brute out. Creon snarled defiantly and reared again, forced forward by the strong rope. "You bloody freaks. I'll tear your throats out!" He snarled to the humans, confusion grasping tight hold of his mind. The double doors swung open, sending in the bright beams of light as he was dragged through. He ceased his struggle to gaze around in awe and sudden realization. Ohh. The fights! He thought in understanding, confusion replaced by a smirk of anticipation. "Right! Wot mangy mutt do I 'ave to fight? Let's get on wif the free food already!" He yipped, more than ready to stuff his face with the meat the humans supposedly threw at them, especially after not eating for a week or so.

Helian's eyes widened as she saw Creon struggling in the large human's grasp, but her face immediately relaxed when she realized the ignorant wolf would finally see how awful life here was. "See you later!" she barked loudly at him as he passed. "If you ever do come back!" A strange satisfaction flowed over her as she sat back on her haunches and licked her nose, watching as the door slammed after Creon and the human. She wondered when the pacing humans would finally stop at her cage and drag her out there, but she knew it could be any time soon. It could even be now, but silence had filled the rooms once more, and panic had fled them, leaving only despair and the anxiety that came as she wondered whether Adro and Creon would come back or not.

((LOL OHMYGOSH))

Adro paced around her rather tight cage, growling as she waited for her opponent. When the doors opened, Adro let out a snarl, crouching in her cage as she impatiently waited for her cage to be opened. Her eyes narrowed when she recognized the male canine who had brushed the fight off so easily. "You?" She snarled, a scowl deepening. She wasn't sure whether to say this would be easily or not, but she only threw herself against the cage, wanting to be free. "C'mon you freaks! Lemme out!" Ador snapped impatiently, glaring at the brute. Cheers erupted as the cage door suddenly flew open, and Adro squeezed out, her eyes narrowing as she began to sprint towards the brute. Suddenly, something wrapped around her neck and yanked her back, a strangled yelp escaping her maw as the human dragged her towards him.

"Not so fast." The man growled, although Adro didn't understand him.

Hurry up! she muttered, craning her neck in attempt to gnaw at the rope. Her ears perked when the man suddenly nodded at the other, who had the brute's rope in his hand.

"You ready?" the human asked, before releasing the rope around her neck. Finally free, Adro tore away, snarling at the male as she circled him, waiting to strike.

((Just wanted to do that so you could get ready x3))

"You?" Creon repeated, staring wide-eyed at who his opponent was. He didn't even blink or think twice as the man slipped the muzzle off his snout. "Well, I usually don't prefer to fight females." He said, optics locked on the now released she-wolf who had just started circling him. The man holding the rope nodded at the other and let it slip off Creon's head. "... But in this case, I fink I can make an exception." He quickly added with a smirk, lowering his head and taking a few slow strides to avoid putting his back to the circling foe. Snapping out of his joking mood, he peeled his lips away from his large canines in a snarl, eyes locked on his target. Deciding not to give the satisfaction of the first move to his opponent, he suddenly sprang off his hind paws without warning, leaping towards his opponent with his ominous jaws open and ready to grab hold of any flesh possible.

Adro let out a snarl as the brute suddenly leaped at her. She was about to dodge it when he suddenly slammed against her, his jaws grasping her throat. Thinking quickly, she craned her neck and tried to grab his paw, looking for a way to distract the brute from her throat. ((GAAH THE SHORTNESS IT'S KILLING ME))

Creon smirked through his mouthful of flesh and fur as he found his attack had worked and the fae's throat was firmly grasped in his jaws. This is easier than I thought. He exclaimed in his mind, tightening his jaws. Suddenly, a sharp pain on one of his forepaws distracted his tense focus on the choke hold. Unintentionally, he released his grip on her neck to let out a yipe of pain. He tugged hard on his forepaw to pull it free from his opponent's jaws, snarling. Placing his other paw on her head for leverage, he pulled some more without thinking, snarling at the piercing pain his motion had caused due to her strong hold on his single paw.

Adro smirked when the male let out a yip of pain, and at the moment, she tried to squirm out of reach, but the brute pressed a paw on her head. Annoyed, Adro twisted her head, trying to snap at the brute's front leg again, wanting him to let go. ((EIERS SHORT))

Creon snarled in pain as he finally ripped his paw free of the fae's loosened grip, losing a good amount of flesh on his paw from tearing it out from her clenched teeth. As a result of his motion, he stumbled backwards a bit, off from over his opponent. Holding his paw above the ground, he snapped his head back around, tensing his muscles for another lunge.

Adro let out a satisfied snarl when the brute leaped back from her, and she quickly scrambled to her paws, spinning around to face her opponent. Eyeing the tight muscles locked in the brute, she decided he was going for another lunge. Bracing herself, she crouched down a little, preparing to dodge the blow if needed. Growling, she circled the brute for a moment, before launching herself at the male.

As Creon was about to launch his second attack, his opponent had begun moving. Snarling in frustration, he turned with her circling, always keeping his front facing her. Before having a moment to spring, she had already made a move. He let out a sharp yipe as he was barreled over by her attack, tumbling over her until he found himself on his back with her standing on top of him. Growling, he awaited the throat hold that was sure to follow, bracing his muscles for it. With his hind paws locked beneath his opponent, he prepared himself to give her under belly a hard shove to dislodge her from on top of him.

Adro panted as she successfully pinned down the brute, ready to snap the little slimy thing's throat in half. Her eyes moved to his tender throat, recalling the taste of blood in her mouth whenever she managed to kill her opponent. Time seemed to slow down as she began to reach out, ready to grasp his neck firmly in her jaws and press down on it. But she shifted her angle instead, lightly nipping his ear - or she thought she did - and moving away. As she moved away, the time seemed to began to fast forward, and the groans swarmed in the air as Adro released her grip from the wolf. Backing up, she narrowed her eyes at him. "Get up." She ordered.

Creon clenched his eyes shut as the fae shot her open jaws forward. His eyelids shot open in utter surprise as he felt a sharp twinge of pain on his ear- and not his throat. Lowering an eyebrow, he rolled over onto his stomach as the fae got off of him. "Wot?" He murmured in confusion, rising to his paws, still not daring to put any weight on his bleeding forepaw. "Wot're you doin'?" He questioned with a subtle growl, ducking his head to face her. Blood began to trickle down from the rip in the side of his ear, but he ignored it.

Adro let out a smirk. "You really think I wanna kill a slimy thing like you?" she muttered, rolling her eyes. "Look. I don't like killing, especially noobs like you. But if you want to, I can kill you right now." She offered, blocking out the disappointed voices of the humans. The truth was that she wanted to give him another chance to fight again and maybe win, but she wasn't sure if he would approve of that or he would turn on her.

((I've got an idea))

Creon glared at the fae as she spoke, standing motionless in front of her. "Pleaaase. Like you could kill me. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve, female." He snapped with a cocky smirk, raising his head a bit. "Isn't the whole point of this bloody fightin' fing to kill the other wolf? I don't get why you're showin' mercy. I don't need your pity." He added, raising his eyebrows. The humans, meanwhile, were quickly growing impatient with the two conversing wolves who had put things to a stand still. The crowd of humans becoming restless and bored with the lack of action that suddenly occurred, the two men in the ring exchanged glances and nods, knowing what to do before the crowd got unruly.
"So enough games." Creon snarled. As he was about to lunge, a rope suddenly tightened around his neck and pulled him backwards, flipping him off his feet and onto his back. The humans roped the other wolf as well and began to drag them back into the back room stuffed with cages. "You damn mutt! You're costing us money with your lack of fighting!" The man holding Creon's rope shouted at him once he had dragged him back into the kennel room. Creon bared his fangs in a snarl, only to have the iron muzzle slipped on before he could defend himself. The man gave the dire's side a sudden kick, forcing him off his feet. "I'll teach you, you waste." Clinging to the concept of 'bitterness equals aggression,' the man continued to mercilessly kick the defenseless wolf, knowing his harsh treatment would turn the creature into a bitter killer, which would result in better fights in the future. Creon let out a few loud yelps of pain as the man's shoe repeatedly made contact with his body and head. Beaten until he couldn't squirm anymore, the man dragged the badly limping wolf back to his cage and stuffed him inside.

Helian perked up at the sounds of heavy footsteps stomping down the hall, but she slightly cringed at the anger flooding into the room as the man stormed inside. She tried to get a glimpse of the wolf, hoping it was Adro, but she only saw Creon as he was thrown back into his cage. She stared at him, wondering if that meant Adro was dead, and she wasn't sure whether she really was glad to see this wolf alive or not.

She finally opened her mouth and coughed, "Congratulations. You have survived the horror and are now realizing the reality of this situation." She dipped her head at him, the sarcasm fading away from her words as her voice took on a more concerned tone. "How are you feeling?"

Before Adro could react, a rope suddenly lashed out, wrapping around her neck as she was dragged back. Placing her paws out, she tried to yank forward, but the man was stronger. She was dragged back with a yelp as she was separated from her opponent. Narrowing her eyes at the male, she snarled, "Next time, there won't be any mercy." The last words were muffled when the man suddenly shoved an iron muzzle, muffling her words. Adro tried to bare her fangs at the human, but the iron muzzle was too tight for her - even to open her mouth a tiny bit. "Blasted humans." She muttered in attempt, struggling as she was kicked back into the room. The human shouted something at her, but she could care less - at least she was still alive. Suddenly, a sharp pain wedged in her side as the human slammed his foot against her side, causing her to stumble as she fell to the ground. As she struggled to rise to her paws, the series of pain repeatedly hit her, until she stopped moving. When she remained still, the man dragged her back to her paws and thrusted her into the cage roughly, before yanking the muzzle off and slamming the door shut. Panting, she aching rose to her paws, breathing deeply as she hunched in her cage, glaring at the brute. "You're lucky they only gave you a beating." She growled, turning away from him as she stretched out, ignoring the throbbing pain. Closing her eyes, she began to shut out the sounds of the wolves murmuring as she tried to get some rest.

Creon stumbled to the back of his cage and plopped down, glancing over to the fae as she congratulated him and asked how he was feeling. "Fine. Just bloody fine." He responded through clenched teeth, the beating the human gave him making it hard to take in many full breaths. The slamming of a cage across the way made him slowly lift his head and glance back. Flattening his ears, a low snarl began to creep up his throat at his former opponent. Getting to his shaking legs, he limped to the front of his cage. "Yeah? We'll see about that, dog-meat." He snarled, his hackles bristling. His bloody paw was still kept above the ground, and a small trail of dried blood caked the side of his face from the gash on his ear. Despite the pain in his ribs and underbelly from the human, he longed to get another hold of that blasted female's neck again.

A worried look was plastered onto Helian's face as she glanced at the two snarling wolves, both caked in blood and mixed in colorful scents. She slightly wrinkled her nose as she sighed, "You both reek of humans." Turning to Adro, she watched as the wolf's body rose and fell, and she felt her exhaustion as well. She squeezed her nose through the small gap in between the bars of the cage and nuzzled the she-wolf's fur as well as she could before attempting to pull away, but she couldn't. She yanked a little harder, but her nose remained firmly lodged in its spot.

"Oh, of all bloody situations!" Helian snarled, shaking herself violently, but all she did was send pain shooting up her face. The cage rattled against Adro's as the bars clanged together, and she stopped, her ear twitching. A scowl spread across her face as she squirmed uncomfortably, but she began to see the humor in the situation, and a slight chuckle rang out from her voice. After twisting and turning in a few awkward positions, she finally managed to wrench her nose from the tight grip of the cage bars. "Ow," she muttered, licking her sore nose. She shook out her pelt, sending dust flying in the cage and nearly banging her head on the roof of her prison.

((I'm bored. XD))

Adro lifted her head, wincing when Helian's muzzle touched her sore body. She didn't say anything, but she nodded at the female before glaring at the brute. Sighing she rolled her eyes. "Look. Threats aren't going to change anything. Just because you threat someone doesn't mean you would actually full-fill it." She muttered, already knowing the answer.

Helian nodded in agreement with Adro, but she didn't say anything. She wasn't sure if Creon was a wolf someone would be able to talk some sense into, especially now that his anger had been aroused. He was hurt, bleeding, and he had just been at the hands of a merciless, cruel human that reeked of sweat and ... other smelly things she'd rather not think about. She began pacing the cage before plopping down onto her stomach, the cold metal pressing against her warm skin as she licked the cage bars again.

Creon perked his ears, stopping his growling for a moment to watch with amusement as the female got her muzzle stuck between the narrow bars. Sitting down, he raised his eyebrows smirking before chuckling slightly at her situation. Once she pulled her nose free, his laughter faded and he glared back over at the other fae, his opponent. "Uh huh. Keep on tellin' yourself that, sweetheart." He said casually, narrowing his eyes before slipping down to his belly. Despite the pain he was in, he quickly adjusted back to his usual care-free, sarcastic attitude.

Helian glanced over at Adro with a twinge of sympathy as she shook her head. "Some things never change, despite the situation," she muttered, rolling her eyes and flopping onto her side. "Now if you don't mind, I'm gonna get some shut-eye." Her tail brushed against the cold floor before curling up slightly as she stretched out her legs in the cramped cage. She would have liked to tuck herself in a small ball to give herself the illusion of more space, but she knew she would wake up with cramped muscles and an aching body, and she wasn't going to risk that.

Helian closed her eyes, but her ears were still on the alert for more of the conversation, if there was any left.

Adro let out a sigh as she glared at the brute. "Whatever, darling." She replied sarcastically, rolling her eyes as she shifted her view away from the male. The cheers of the beasts sickened her as she closed her eyes, wishing the humans would stop make the wolves fight one another. At least night's coming. She reflected, squeezing her eyes shut even harder. She was getting sick and tired of this place - the fights, smells, and practically the deaths. "If there only was a bloody escape." She growled, her stomach rumbling with hunger.

A sigh weighed down with despair escaped from Helian's maw as she opened one of her eyes to stare at Adro. Of every wolf she had met in here, escape was the one wish they all shared. Her gaze moved to the cage lock, and a growl rose in her throat. "If I could get my fat face through those stupid bars," she complained, "I could try popping the lock. But noooo. My fat face."

Of course, her face wasn't fat. The bars were. But the wolf had never seen a mirror before so she was convinced her face was of fatness.

"Maybe I could get my nose stuck in there again," she snorted, one of her legs kicking out and banging against the cage bars.

Adro opened an eye to face Helian. "Nobody's fat. Don't you remember the little food we are eating?" The canine replied, gently reminding the other wolf. Sighing, she turned and nuzzled the bar of the cage, the tip of her muzzle sticking out. Frowning, she tried to remember how the humans opened the cage, but her mind was too fuzzy to remember anything. Pulling back, she flattened her ears as she stretched out again, closing her eyes in attempt to get some sleep.

The taste of blood was stuck in her mouth, pain surged though her body. Naviah was led back into the cage area "You sure are winning me some money." he smirked as he dragged her. Naviah was exhausted, she couldn't do this anymore. He tongue lolled out of her mouth, small whines escaping her maw, her head hung low. She limped down the aisle of cages, passing some familiar faces, some of them nodded their heads while others looked away. Her body felt like she had been crushed by a steamroller then thrown off a cliff, she didn't know what was broken this time. Blood dripped from the many wounds on her body, the wolf she was put against was strong, but slow. He was her first real challenge, luckily she was able to beat him.

Finally, they arrived at her cage next to Helian. He pushed her in then slammed the cage door shut before going to pick out another victim. Why were they doing this to them? Was this some sort of sick sport? Naviah wanted to get out. She spun around to face the aisle then collapsed onto her stomach. Naviah looked at the other wolves, then some of the empty cages. She was lucky she always came back, but maybe death was better. Even if it was she didn't want to go out this way. See looked at the metal floor of her cage, it was smeared with blood from her previous fights. She sighed then placed her chin on her fore paws, watching the burly man walk up and down, trying to decide who should be next.

The sound of the cage door being slammed jerked Adro awake, and a grumbled escaped her maw. Can't any canine get any sleep around here? she wondered, yawning as she stretched - or tried to. Sighing she glanced across from her, seeing a female canine covered with blood from varies wounds. "You were lucky to be alive." She muttered for no reason, tucking her muzzle under her paw. She felt the sudden breeze of the human as he brushed past her, the strange scent seeping up her nose. Growling softly, Adro raised her head to see into the direction of the she-wolf. "You okay?" she asked suddenly, her head tilting as she inspected the wolf.

Helian shot a glance at the wolf beside her. Although she hadn't taken the time to get to know her as much as she had with Adro, she still knew her fairly well. "Hey," she murmured. "Good to see you alive again." Ignoring the memory of getting her muzzle stuck in the cage, she cautiously poked her nose through the bars and pressed it gently against the she-wolf's pelt, inhaling her scent before pulling away. She wrinkled her nose at the strange smell, but she was used to capturing scents like that so she didn't ask any questions about it.

Creon let out a huff and squirmed over to the back of his cage, his hind end facing the cage door again. Running a paw over his ear, he clenched his eyes shut, letting out a subtle sigh in annoyance at the loud room that for some reason deprived him of sleep. Maybe it was the mix of the physical pain and the constant barking of the other wolves. Either way, finding a restful sleep was unusually difficult. Blowing a heavy huff from his nostrils, he lay awake, facing the back wall quietly. His ears swiveled occasionally to catch a few words from the nearby wolves, but for the most part, he dubbed their chatter uninteresting, and ignored it.

Naviah perked her ears when she heard Ardo's voice "Yeah, for the most part." she licked a wound on her paw. She looked over to Helian when she pushed her nose against her fur, she smiled then looked around. She had been in another room for a while and couldn't figure out how many were gone "How many..never came back?" she asked to anyone who would answer. She looked at the bars of some of the cages, all of them had marks on them and some of them had blood on them. Naviah had never tried to bite the bars of the cage, she knew it was useless. The kindness from Adro's voice disappeared as coldness took place. "No point in counting." She muttered at Naviah's question, bristling at the thought of it. At the wolf's second question, Adro let out a sigh. "We all do want to escape. But we can't figure out a way to get out of this bloody cage and escape the building. It's too big - too many humans - and too tricky." Adro replied. "The ones who managed escaped were never seen again, of course, but that doesn't necessary mean they actually escaped the building."

Naviah listened to all their stories then sat up "Ever played dead?" she grinned "When a wolf dies in the cage they take them out and throw them in the dumpster, at least I think they do." She wasn't quite sure what they did with the bodies, but my the smell of it they threw them outside somewhere. "I have never smelled rotting bodies, so that means they are thrown outside." Maybe if we pretend to be dead they will just take us outside." She looked at all of them "It's worth a shot." She laid down and waited for their response.

Helian's eyes gleamed. "I think it's worth a shot," she barked her opinion, not caring what the others thought. "It seems to be the easiest way out, and it's better than rotting in these cages every day, just waiting for death to come upon us." She shuddered and began licking the bars of her cage again, eyeing the lock and wondering if she really could fit her nose in between the bars like she had for the other sides. "I'm sick of fighting for these humans." Her leg kicked the cage again, and she decided to wait for the humans to leave the room before she would try unlocking her cage.

Creon lifted his head, glancing behind him to raise an eyebrow at the plotting fae nearby. "Wot don't you understand about there bein' no way out, you bloody idiots?" He murmured, flattening his ears against his skull. "The only way any of us is gettin' out of here is in a garbage bag. Humans ain't stupid. It's easy to tell if you're playin' dead, they 'ave ways of checkin' your heartbeat, ya know..." He huffed, rolling his eyes. "So it don't matter whether they burn or trash the dead. Point is, they're dead 'an the humans know that. So just drop the bloody plotting already." He growled, turning his head forward again and resting it in its original position between his forepaws.

((;-; I have to go. Bai, all!))

Annoyance prickled in Helian's pelt, and she raised her head to stare at Creon's figure. She mimicked his accent, snapping, "Wot don't you understand about shutting up? Why don't you drop the bloody negativity already?" She turned away with a huff and rolled her eyes, but she immediately felt guilt begin to gnaw at her. "I'm sorry," she sighed. "I really didn't mean that. I'm just really tired right now." Without waiting for the male wolf's response, she turned her back on the wolves and curled up, closing her eyes.

Creon's ear swiveled again and he raised his head to glance around at the mocking female. "Oh, ha-ha. Hilaaaarious." He muttered sarcastically at her portrayal of his accent. "'An I'm not being negative. It's the truth and we all know it." He added with a huff, flicking his tail. "But if you still want to try, go right on ahead, then. At least it'll be quieter 'round here wif you lot gone." The brute said casually with a subtle growl, his glare shifting from one individual to the other. Rolling his eyes, he put his head back down again, his lack of his usual nap time putting him in a worse mood than usual.

Naviah growled at the male "We have to try. You can stay if you want." She looked at the others "I don't think there is a way to unlatch the cage door." she tried to poke her nose through but her jaws were too big "Darn it." she growled as she sat there and looked at her cage. "Everything has a weak spot." she began to nose at the corners of the cage, she wasn't sure what she was looking for. She stood up then began to paw at the top left corner "It's lose here!" she barked as she pushed up on the top of the cage with her head. "I think I almost got it." she said as she gave one final push, popping the corner up. She wagged her tail then yelped in fright when one of the humans walked by. He was peering into cages, obviously looking for another to take. Naviah growled at him,he was sick. All the humans here were.

"Of all times!" Adro snapped, glaring at the human who had suddenly stormed in. "Bloody creatures." She growled, baring her teeth when the human strolled past. Her ears perked at the sound of Naviah's bark, and she rolled her eyes. "I hope you can fit through that." She muttered. "Just because you opened the top doesn't mean it's wide enough for you to fit through. Unless, it's on that area that is weak." She growled, sighing as she rested her head. "I hate to say this, but I think I'll have to argue with that accent brute. He's right - even if the humans are gone, there still could be traps or something out there." She sighed again, glancing at the male, before at Naviah and Helian.

Creon smirked a bit as his former opponent agreed with him, then rolled his eyes. "The name's Creon..." He muttered, sitting up and turning to face them. "It's good to see one of you's got some brains. Tryin' to get out is suicide. Even you lot should know that. So just shut up, sit back, 'an get over it." He huffed, pausing to lower his head and lick his bloody forepaw. "'An look at the bright side, 'least you can take out your frustration in the ring. Plus, when you die, that's just one less yapping mouth to keep others from their beauty sleep in 'ere. See? It's a win-win." He smirked a bit and lay down, returning to tending to his paw.

"Your annoying you know that."Suriko snapped a Creon. "You can stay here and rot like a scared little pup while we escape to freedom! Then you'll wish you came. Darkie knows his way around this building. Before it was a hell hole it was his home! He knows waaaaay more about here than you."Suriko added. Darkie nodded.

Adro scowled for a moment, before shrugging. "Whatever. I'm too tired to do anything." She yawned, resting her head onto her paws. "Wake me up if something exciting happens." She muttered, closing her eyes as she nuzzled her nose deeper into her paw. A light breeze entered the room, making the wolf shiver a little as she sneezed, blinking before closing her eyes again.

Suriko sniffed around her cage for any escape routes. Darkie did the same. Suriko thought that maybe she could fit her muzzle through the bars and unlatch the cage door. She tried to fit her muzzle through the bars. But then she noticed the human walking around and stopped.

A groan escaped from Helian's maw as she raised her head to roll her eyes at Adro. "You killed our false hope," she complained as she dropped her head back down on the cold metal floor, ignoring the pain that flashed across her forehead. "But then again, it probably was best for it to happen now before we let it carry us away," she added, looking at the glass as half-full. However, the glass actually was never empty, since half of it was filled with water and the other half was filled with air. So technically, the glass was always full, but the wolf kept these thoughts to herself, knowing it wouldn't help them escape. She wondered if it really was possible to run away from this building once all of them had gotten out of their cages. She eyed the lock. Impatience stabbed at her like an insisting knock at the door as she waited for the human to finish making his rounds and leave. To her surprise, he approached her cage, and a frown spread over her face.

"Aww, I wanted to unlock it," Helian whined as she scrambled up onto her paws and walked towards the cage door, waiting patiently as the human quickly undid the lock. The door swung open, and she licked her nose as the human's fingers closed around her body and heaved her up. "Hopefully, I'll see you all later," she said cheerfully, twisting her head around to flash them a smile before the door slammed shut and blocked her view of their faces.

Creon narrowed his eyes at Suriko and let out a huff. "Wotever. Don't come cryin' to me when your brilliant escape plan gets you killed." He murmured, flicking his ears back. Glancing at Adro, he couldn't help but smirk at her attitude. "I'm right wif ya on that one. I'm done arguin' wif you mutts." He muttered, turning his back on the females and laying down. "Wake me up when you idiots come to your senses-... on second thought. Don't." He smirked a bit before flickering his eyelids shut with a tired sigh. Ignoring the passing humans like he always did, he slowly began to doze off carelessly, until the very nearby sound of a cage door creaking open caught his attention. Raising his head, he glanced around to notice one of the faes he was arguing with previously had been removed from her cage. I'd wish 'er luck, but- I don't really care. The less annoying blabbering mouths nearby the better. He thought to himself, shrugging and closing his eyes to resume dozing.

Naviah watched as Helian was taken away "Good luck." she barked before looking up at the roof of her cage. The top left corner was already popped off, maybe if she just kept jumping up and ramming her back into it it might come all the way off. She jumped up and slammed her back into it, making it squeak. She winced in pain but she was determined to get out of here. She kept ramming into it, the squeaks becoming more frequent, soon the whole top of the cage was getting ready to wobble off. She stopped then pressed her head against it, making it lift up "Hey! I got it! Just a few more pushes." she barked. She took in a deep breath then jumped up as hard as she could, sending the top of the cage into the air then back down again. A large smile spread across her face as she looked at the others.
(Sorry if this seems kinda fast, I just kinda wanted her to escape. Being in a cage can be quite boring :L)

Adro jerked her head up, banging it against the top part of her cage. Grumbling, she lowered her head and glanced over at Naviah. "Good job." Was all she said, not very interested. Either way, they would die, so what was the point of escaping? Yawning, she shook her head and pressed her muzzle down with her paw, a habit she had whenever she was nervous. "But...how are you going to escape now? The humans are bound to come back and check on the cages." Adro murmured, flicking a ragged ear as she glanced at the female wolf.

The sound of clanging metal made Creon jerk his head up, flattening his ears. Slowly rising to his paws, he turned around to investigate. Lowering an eyebrow at the escaped female, he let out a huff. "You're all bloody fools. Wot makes you fink you've got the slightest chance at slippin' past the 'umans. Whether you continue on wif your escape attempt, or stay 'ere, you're dead. You're only wastin' your energy wif this 'brilliant' plan 'a your's." He murmured, rolling his eyes.

Adro glared at Creon, feeling irritated at the male wolf's attitude. "Oh, just shut that bloody mouth of yours for once." She snapped, her neck fur bristling as she sighed. "Okay, so we all have our opinions of getting out or not. But I'm getting tired of us bickering at each other, so I think it's time we started to get along, alright? Yes, that includes me as well, and especially Creon." Adro threw a brisk glance at the male wolf. "I'm just suggesting - I don't want to be so bossy."

Naviah frowned at the two wolves "Well, you can stay then." She looked at the double doors, it was quiet out there, are they leaving? She sat down and waited a few more minutes before lifting the top up with her head then jumping out. She stopped, where was Helian? She was sure she would have won, with a frown she carefully placed the top back on the way it was then hid behind some old crates. She was sure this would be a good place to hide, no one ever went back here. It smelled of dust and cobwebs, she even saw a few mice scurry out when she sat. She was complete clothed in darkness, making her barely visible, this was a perfect place to wait.

"Oh, you don't wanna be 'bossy,' huh? Pff." Creon rolled his eyes at the fae, flattening his ears then shooting a glare at the escaped she-wolf. "All's I'm sayin' is you've got a death wish if you want to escape. Just a bit of- friendly advice. But if you're not gonna listen, go ahead 'n die. Not like I give a damn." He huffed, licking his paw again. "I don't even know why I waste my time talkin' to you ignorant lot." Creon muttered, once again turning his back on them and laying down in the back of his cage.

Seeing that Naviah didn't reply to her question, Adro rolled her eyes. "Fine, whatever." She muttered, stretching out in her cage. Muttering how poorly the humans made the cage, she rested her head between her paws again, trying to get some more shut-eye before the fighting started again. A sudden squeak made her ears perk, and she raised her head to see a mouse sitting just below her cage, sniffing the air. "Mmm." She murmured, imagining the taste of food on her tongue. Eager, she lunged forward, crashing into the bars as she tried to grasp the mouse. But it was too far, and the bars held her back. Desperate for food, Adro threw herself at the cage again, struggling to snatch the mouse. "Crap!" The wolf snapped when the mouse darted off into the safety of the shadows. Growling with frustration, Adro was about to turn and suddenly, the floor underneath collapsed, and she went down with a startled yelp.

Shaking her head, Adro found herself sitting on the bars - her cage standing on the bars. Confused for a moment, she then realized that she had accidentally pushed her cage too far out, sending it toppling to the ground. "Great." She muttered, crawling to the top to balance it. When the bottom of the cage hit the floor, she sneezed, dust spraying from around her nose as she let out a huff. Pawing at the entrance of the cage, she wondered how to at least get out before the humans came and found her like this. Glancing over at the direction of Naviah, she called, "What did you say about the weakness of every thing?" At Creon's words, Adro turned and snarled at the male wolf. "I don't know why I'm wasting my stupid breath on you." She retorted, agitated with brute.

Naviah peeked around the boxes, like a frightened pup "Everything has a weakness, you just have to find it." She chuckled as she saw Adro's situation, she would let her out but that would be to easy to spot. A toppled over cage with no wolf inside, that would make the humans go mad. Suddenly a man came in "What's with all the racket!" he boomed as he stomped over to Adro's cage "Stupid mutt." he growled as he kicked the cage, he didn't bother to try to lift it up and put it back. He checked the others wolves before leaving the room "He didn't even notice I was gone."she grinned before looking at Adro "Need help?"

Creon flinched and jerked his head up, whipping around at the sound of a loud crash. Glancing down, he raised his eyebrows in amusement to see Adro had pushed her cage to the ground. A smirk crept across his face and he soon burst into laughter at her, tail wagging. "Ha! Well that just sucks for you don't it." He exclaimed, smirking in entertainment. As a human entered the room, he flattened his ears and lowered his head, glaring intently at the two-legged beast until it left. "Bloody half-brain..." He muttered, raising an eyebrow back at the two faes now that the man had put Adro's cage back.

Adro let out a snarl when the man kicked her cage, but he left, not bothering to place it in its original spot. "Bloody idiot." She muttered, glancing over at Naviah. "No...thanks." She replied, nodding at the fae. "Maybe later, I don't want to get out right away. A missing wolf with an empty cage sure will anger the humans - no doubt." Adro added. Glancing at the doors where the man had disappeared, she murmured, "I wonder how Helian's doing..."

Adro glared at Creon. "Hah. As if you could tell everything." She muttered, unwilling to admit that Helion/Helian was dead. "It would be a perfect day for me if you were dead." She muttered under her breath, glaring once more at the brute before rolling her eyes. Sighing, she casually scraped her claws against her cage, thinking about...stuff. (Le lame)

Exhaustion tugged at Helian as she trudged down the short hallway as the door slammed behind her, muffling the cheers and twisted roars that erupted from the fight arena. She blinked past the blood that ran down her face like bitter tears, and she hesitantly licked some off of her mouth, the sweet taste tingling on her tongue. She tried to walk a little faster, but she was so tired, and the iron muzzle weighing down her head wasn't helping. A sigh laced with weariness escaped from her maw, and the human walking next to her grunted.

"You did good," he muttered, and Helian raised her head to glance at him with dull eyes. "You did good today, mutt. Keep it up, and you and I will get along just fine." She allowed her tail to half-heartedly wag so that the man wouldn't get angry at her for not responding. He stopped at the closed door and opened it, the creaking hinges squealing in protest as she dragged herself in. Her chest heaved heavily as shuddering breaths escaped her, and the human heaved her up into her cage. Pain exploded in her aching body as his hands tightly pressed against her torn flesh, but he was so fast that she didn't have time to squirm or release a pain-filled yelp. The iron muzzle was roughly yanked off her face, leaving her mouth and cheeks sore. She scrambled into her prison and turned just in time to see the door shut into her face, the lock clicking before the human disappeared out the door.

Helian's ear hurt, and her side stung from where the wolf's claws had ripped past her flesh and left a yawning gap for the blood to seep through. She twisted around and quickly ran her tongue along her wound a few times to clean it and prevent infection before collapsing onto her other side, trying to calm her nerves down as she blinked rapidly.

Creon lazily glanced over to notice the humans returning... with the injured, but obviously victorious she-wolf. "Bloody hell- you're alive?" The brute blurted in astonishment, slowly turning around in his cage to face the wounded female.

Naviah watched as Helian was brought to her cage, she looked terrible but at least she made it.. Naviah watched the man leave before leaving the cover of the old crates and investigating Helian "Are you okay?" That was a dumb question, it was obvious she was beaten to bits but she didn't know what else to say. She nosed her through the bars before running back to cover, the sound of footsteps had spooked her. "Ready to go home?" one of the men asked "Yeah, I'm sure there is some good grub waiting for me." he chuckled as he tossed a small piece of meat into the cages "Here's your dinner." he grumbled. The meat looked tasty but there wasn't much of it, as soon as the men left she ran out to talk to the others about escaping.

Creon, who had turned away again to lay down with disinterest, jerked his head up when a small sliver of meat smacked into the back of his head with a splat. Shaking his cranium, he licked his maw and instantly devoured the small piece of meat the human had thrown into his cage, not leaving even a single sliver. Ignoring the females behind him, he lazily plopped over to his side, stretching his limbs, then allowing them to go limp as he peacefully relaxed in his cage.. as usual.

Adro gobbled down the morsel, glad to have some food to fill her stomach. She lifted her head into the direction of a strange brute, and she scowled. "Oh, shut your bloody mouth up already. Nobody wants to hear your sob story." She snapped, rolling her eyes as she nosed her bars. "Everyone dies. So what's the point?" she muttered, feeling around the cage. Stifling back a yawn, she poked her nose in the corner of the back cage, wondering even if her cage had a weak spot. After poking her nose into varies areas, she let out a sigh and plopped down. "I give up." She growled, glancing into the direction of Naviah. "Mind giving some help?"

Helian rolled her eyes, letting out a huff as she muttered to Creon, "No, I'm a ghost. Of course I'm freaking alive!" She reached forward and caught the piece of meat in her mouth as it was thrown to her through the bars of the cage, and she crunched into it, the rich flavor rushing through her tongue. She swallowed and shivered in pleasure at the tingling remnants remaining in her mouth. She licked her mouth, knowing there would be no more food until tomorrow, perhaps. She raised her head and zoomed in on a brute draped in the shadows of his cage, and she politely dipped her head at him. "I'm glad you will no longer be bothered by him," she said, slightly relieved he was planning to kill the wolf either way. She was afraid he would hold a grudge against her for that, and this was good news to her ears.

Helian slightly tilted her head at Naviah, and her eyes wandered to the empty cage beside her. She easily guessed what the female wolf had done, and a part of her longed to be out of this prison with her - no, not a part of her. All of her. She jammed her muzzle in between the bars closest to the lock, and after a few tries, she found the cage door swinging open as she lightly stepped down and dropped onto the ground. "Well, that was easier than expected," she mumbled, her tail slightly wagging.

(Welcome, Taylor. C:)

Creon growled at the other male, lowering himself down to his stomach at the front of his cage. Not bothering to respond, he crossed his forepaws in front of him and simply yawned, occasionally reaching down to run his tongue along his injured paw. At the mention of the 'Dark Room' he froze mid-lick and raised his head, narrowing his eyes at the brute. "The Dark Room?" He questioned, pausing, then bursting into disbelieving laughter. "Woteva'. The Dark Room ain't nofin' but a rumor. You're a bloody idiot if you believe that." He barked, flattening his ears and raising an eyebrow. His gaze traced down to the fae out of her cage, a crooked smirk still plastered on his maw. "But if that mutt's right about somefin', it's that they'll find you out. 'An there will be consequences. You lot 'ave been 'ere longer than I 'ave, I figured you'd know better. My bad." He shrugged, sitting up a bit. "Anyway, those consequences won't be pretty. If they'll beat ya for not fighting' good, just fink of wot they'll do if they find ya escape. Like I've been tryin' to tell you dumb mutts, you're an idiot if you fink you can escape. I don't get wot it's gonna take to get that through your bloody head!" He growled, annoyed at their ignorance. "Hell, I don't know why I'm wastin' my breath on you. It's not like I give a damn." He huffed with a roll of his eyes before gazing away.

Adro shot an irritated look at the male brute, huffing as she rolled her eyes again. "Whatever, mutt." She muttered. Deciding to try again, she threw herself against the bars of the cages, ignoring the sharp pain that entered her body. Shaking her head, she sighed, before pressed her nose against one of the bars, feeling the chills run down her muzzle. At Creon's words, her ears perked and she glanced at him. "Well. Everyone has their own opinions." The fae replied, shrugging. She didn't feel like arguing with the idiotic brute - there would be no point in doing so. Letting out another sigh, she began to throw herself against the cage again, desperate to get out.

When she thought the bars wouldn't give away, her body struck against the cage, sending her stumbling out as she slammed into an empty crate. Dazed for a moment, she picked herself up and shook out her pelt, staring triumphantly at the two brutes. Narrowing her eyes, she paused to lick her nose. "You sure you're staying here? Don't come whining to us that you missed your chance." Adro growled, flicking a ragged ear into their direction.

Helian's tail wagged as Adro successfully opened the lock of her cage, and she rushed over to quickly run her tongue over the wolf's cheek in affection before snatching her head back. She bristled, and her ears flattened against her skull at the thought of being caught. "We need some sort of a distraction," she muttered, pawing at the concrete ground and watching as dust bunnies tumbled around. "Like Darkie said, there are guards out there." She shot a glance at the male wolf. "Do you remember how many were there?" she asked, prodding his memory.

Darkie sniffed the top of the cage one of the corners were loose. He kicked the corner with his hind legs. It squeaked against his powerful kick. He kicked again it made another squeak. He kicked it one last time and it burst off making a big enough gap for him to squeeze out of. He jumped out. Suriko wagged her tail seeing her friend escaped. Darkie bit at the lock on Suriko's cage. He put one claw in it and got the cage unlocked. Suriko came out. "Thanks Darkie."She said. "No problem. And I think three guards we'll have to wait till the lights go out in the room. Signaling they have left."Darkie said

Helian rolled her eyes as a huff escaped her maw. She plopped down into a sitting position on the floor, her tail unhappily curling around her. "Well, at least we outnumber them," she sighed before bending over to lick at the fur on her leg. Seeing she had nothing better to do, she began to groom herself, running her rough tongue over her back and cleaning up the wound stretching on her flank. Wetting her paw, she began to rub her torn ear, and she slightly winced at the stinging pain, but she was reassured that it wasn't any serious damage.

As she paused to lift her head and blink in the light layer of darkness, Helian noticed something glittering along the edges of one of the walls, where there weren't as many cages. Interest pricked at her, urging her to scramble up onto her paws and trot a little closer for further inspection. Upon approaching, she realized it wasn't glitter, but it was only a slight reflection. Excitement pounded in her as she hissed, "Hey, I think there's a small window up there!" She quickly climbed the cages with ease till she reached the top one, and she tugged at the rusty latch, almost vomiting at the layers of dust and gross mold growing on it. "Oh man, this is gross," she huffed, but there was a soft creak as the window finally gave way.

Fresh air poured into her nose, and Helian paused to close her eyes for a moment and gulp in large mouthfuls. "This smells so good," she whispered, but a frown tugged at her eyebrows at the sight of something blocking their way. It was sort of like a net, but upon biting it, she realized it was much harder and tougher than a net. "Bothersome humans," she muttered before starting to yank and rip at it with her sharp teeth till nothing but tattered remains were left, lightly blowing in the wind. She cautiously peeked outside, and relief cascaded over her when she saw that there were no traces of humans outside. Twisting her head around to face the others, she hissed, "Hey, see if you can get up here. One of you."

Darkie walked to the doors and lightly opened the door with his head the room was dark. He sniffed the human scent was old. "THEY'RE GONE!"he exclaimed wagging his tail Suriko let out a joyful howl. Wagging her tail excitedly.

Naviah wagged her tail as she saw more of her allies escaping their prisons. She left the cover of the crates and walked over to them, her tail wagged excitedly, they were going to do it. They were going to leave this place, together. She watched as Helian walked off and watched as Darkie walked over to the main doors. She stood their for a moment, unsure of what to do. Suddenly a beautiful smell entered her nostrils, it smelled of trees and grass..and fresh air. Naviah spun around to see Helian up by an open window, shewing at the metal net. Naviah ran over and jumped up "Need help?" she asked, asked as she balanced herself so that she didn't fall.

Eska let out a snarl as she remained on her stomach in the uncomfortable cage, her ears perked as the few canines continued to argue. Her tail thrashing against the bars as her front paws crossed over and her head was placed on them. Rolling her eyes she shuffled around slightly and closed her eyes hoping to dose off. When a sudden slam caused her eyes to shoot open, letting out yet another snarl she whipped around noticing few of the others had escaped. Jumping to her paws she padded towards the front of the cage and peered at the other canines. "You really think you guys are gettin' past thos' humans? You must be kiddin' " she barked slightly peering at them with her head tilted slightly. Then watching as another two escaped her tail wagging slightly as she looked at the lock of her cage; sticking a paw out and batting it. She circled for a moment as she figured it would be a good idea to escape but she forgot about it for the time being, sighing she peered back at the others her head still tilted.

Helian's eyes widened as the cages teetered dangerously underneath so much new weight, and she quickly moved closer to the window to steady the balance. A breath of relief escaped her maw as the cages remained still once more, and she flashed a confident smile at the others. "Thanks, guys," she said, once the remaining bits of the net had been torn through. "I'll go down and check it out to make sure the place is safe." Without waiting for a reply, she took a step towards the window, careful not to disturb the cages as she scrambled up onto the slippery windowsill. She grimaced at the cobwebs and moss lacing the undisturbed window, but she managed to recover her balance. She squeezed her dainty figure through the torn hole, ignoring the stinging pain as some of her fur was ripped off her skin by the jagged edges of metal sticking out. It was a small price to pay for the freedom she had longed for.

Helian stared down at the distance between her and the ground, and her tail slightly curled in a fit of nervousness. She glanced around hopefully for something nearby to jump on, and her eyes lit up when she spotted a tree not far. In fact, the whole place was filled with plenty of trees. She distributed her weight onto her hind legs before launching herself off the window towards her goal. Branches snaked out and slapped into her face, tearing at her pelt as she slammed into the tree. Her claws desperately raked for a grip, and relief fluttered in her when they easily sank into the wood. She clung there for a moment, trembling, before she regained her composure and scrambled up onto a thick branch, staring down at what could have been her death had not the tree been there. Apparently, her aim had not been as excellent as it could have been.

Helian finally regained the courage to drop down the remaining distance onto the ground, dead leaves and twigs snapping underneath her paws as she landed into the grass with a soft thump. "This is the last time I'm ever acting like a cat," she muttered, shaking out her pelt and twisting around to yank a leaf from her flank. She lifted her head and opened her jaws, but she tasted no scent that would bring danger. At first, she thought she smelled humans, but she quickly realized the scent was very stale - no one had been in this area for a long time. "Okay," she hissed up to the window. "Jump for the tree and come down!" I hope they manage better than I did, she thought, worriedly watching.

((So we're suppose to be 'fight wolves' in this place in/near a forest, yous have decided to escape and run off into the forest? Please correct me if I'm wrong..))

((Well most of the wolves have been here for a while, and you know how bad the humans treat them...so they want to escape. Some of the new wolves think it's alright and will stay here for the meat and all, since they are pretty newbie and don't understand. The humans force the wolves to fight until one of the wolves die, then they continue it so forth, until the day is over. It repeats again - everyday, I guess. Hope this makes things clear a little more, although I think it was pretty messy.))

Adro whipped her head into the direction of window, relaxing as she realized it was Helian. Letting out a grunt, she watched, swallowing down her nervousness as she awaited for the white wolf's report. Glancing at Eska, the female wolf shrugged, flicking an ear at the wolf. "It's worth a shot." Adro replied, shaking out her pelt. Her ears perked at the sound of Helian's voice, and the fae let out a huff. "Maybe this wasn't a good idea after all..." she muttered, glancing at the others. Deciding to go ahead, Adro began to scurry up the cages, careful to regain her balance whenever she placed her paws on the solid object. When she reached the window, the female wolf pushed her head out, gazing at the trees. Finally, she spotted the white pelt of Helian, and Adro let out another sigh as she balanced herself on the windowstill. "This is crazy." She muttered under her breath, before launching herself at the nearest tree. Branches and leaves smacked at her face, causing her to snarl out as she grasped the tree for a grip. Her claws raked down the bare sides of the wood as she scowled, glancing below her. The ground wasn't very far off, and she immediately released her grip, landing on the ground with a soft thump. Regaining her balance, she shook out her pelt and glanced at Helian for a moment. "Are you sure this is going to be alright?" The female wolf questioned, wary.

((Oh okay thanks everyone))

Eska remained in her cage watching as the canines began to mutter on, thinking of ways of escaping. Rolling her eyes as she didn't think it was to bad. Spinning in a tight circle she plopped down onto her stomach facing the other canines. A sigm of amusement on her face as she watched them making attempts to escape. The dark faes tail tapped against the thin, metal barns of her cage as her eyes were slightly narrowed. Sighing she continued to watch the others who were free, the canines that remained in the cages not seeming to phased.

Naviah watched in amazement as Helian squeezed through the metal wiring and jumped over to the tree. "I'll go next." she said with a little fear in her voice as she perched herself on the slippery windowsill. She squeezed her body through the hole they had created, small stinging pains could be felt on her back and stomach. She balanced herself on the other side, her eyes were wide with fear as she stared at the tree that Helian just barely made it to. She took a deep breath then lunged her long body forward, her fronts paws outstretched. Her body slammed onto a thick limb, pushing all the oxygen out of her lungs. She sat there for a moment, her limbs dangling over the branch, she looked dead. She took in many shallow breaths before sliding off and landing on her unsteady paws. She bumped into Helian "I'm alright, just winded."she chuckled as she stumbled away from the tree to give the others room.

Adro glared at Suriko, irritated spiking up her fur. "Shut your blood tramp before some beast hears us!" The female wolf snarled, bristling. "Your dumb howl could alert some human nearby and before we know it - we'll be put back into the cages." Adro snapped, turning away with disgust. Sniffing the air, she averted her gaze back at the window as she awaited for the next movement, keeping her ears perked for any danger.

Helian flashed a smile at Adro. "Does it look like we have any other choices?" she questioned, wagging her tail as the others made it. Relief fluttered in her stomach, settling down the uneasy feeling. She had been afraid her plan wouldn't work, but so far, every wolf seemed to be fine. She gave Naviah a reassuring lick on the ear before gently propping her friend up so she could lean against her for support. "What about the others in the cage?" she asked, worry tinging her voice. She glanced up warily at the trees towering over them. "If they can't get out, maybe one or two of us should go back to help them." She half-heartedly wagged her tail. "I could go."

Adro glanced wary at Helian. "Are you sure? I don't think there's any way up there...the window's too high and the doors are heavy." The female wolf objected, unwilling to admit her worry for Helian. Flicking a ragged ear, she glanced at the three. "They'll just have to come out themselves, I guess...I mean, there's no way we could get back in...right?

The wolf stubbornly shook her head, flicking her white tail. "There has to be a way back in," she muttered, allowing her claws to sink into the earth as she stared at her surroundings. Perhaps if she clawed her way up the tree, using the lower branches as support until she got high enough, she could scramble into another tree closer to the window till she was near enough to scramble onto the sill. It was a dangerous plan full of twisted risks, but she was willing to try. After all, the worse she could suffer was probably a broken bone, right?

Right, Helian confirmed her thoughts. "I don't care," she huffed. "I want to try."

A part of her, however, was filled with hesitancy that caused her to pause before carrying out her plan. Perhaps there was another way in that would guarantee more safety. She wondered if there was a lower window that would grant them access into the building. A sigh escaped her maw, and she slapped her front paw against her forehead (le wolf facepalm). Why didn't they think about the rest of the wolves trapped in the cages? Of course, not all of them would be able to find their way out! Her ears burned as a flame swept across her cheeks, smoky embarrassment rising from her pelt as she shook her head slowly.

"Maybe there's a lower window," Helian suggested softly, but her hope was dim.

Creon' eyes widened as the.others began to escape one by one. "Well fine! Go 'n get yourselves killed! Don't say I didn't warn you, you bloody mutts!" He barked, hackles bristled upright. "Damn idiots." He muttered, pacing in a few uneasy circles before laying down with a huff, facing the back wall. Though he knew an escape attempt would surely end in death, at the back of hiis mind he couldn't help but think they were right. His stubborn mind, however  quickly pushed the temptation at escape aside. "Those bloody idiots are probably dead by now, anyway." He murmured to himself.

Adr stared at Helian for a moment, before shrugging. "We can try." She grunted, heaving herself onto her paws as she headed towards the building. Pausing, she glanced back to look at Suriko and Darkie. "Erm, can you guys stay here and keep watch?" She suggested, flicking her ears back as she continued forward anyway. Raising her head, she began to search among the building for any low windows they could reach.

Gratefulness towards the wolf swept through Helian, almost knocking her off her paws as her tail became a wagging blur. "Great!" she whispered, careful to keep her excitement contained in soft words that wouldn't arouse eavesdropping ears. "You guys get to miss all the fuuuuun," she sang at Darkie and Surko (just kidding). She happily trotted alongside Adro, barely able to keep the smile from her eyes as she scanned the sides of the building. "I don't see any," she said, disappointment weighing down her voice as her tail drooped a little. She kept her nose on the alert for any humans, but all the scents she caught were very stale. I guess you wouldn't normally find these bloody idiots hanging around the forest, she thought, a smirk forming on her mouth at the thought of them attempting to navigate their way through the thick clusters of trees. They'd probably get chomped up by a wild beast in a matter of seconds.

Her heart pounded faster as Helian squinted ahead, not believing her eyes. She blinked hard, but the low window was still there, and she scrambled forward towards it, already sniffing at it and while pawing the glass.

Adro had to spring to her paws to keep up with Helian as a grumble escaped her maw. When they reached the low window, the female wolf pushed herself and balanced on her hind paws, pressing her front paws against the building wall as she sniffed the window. Tilting her head to one side, she inspected the glass, pressed her muzzle against it as she tried to peer inside. "Darn this this." She muttered, lightly banging her head against it. "Seems breakable." Wondering what would happen, she slammed harder against the object, feeling a light pain shot in her head as she let out a growl. Determined to get inside, Adro backed up, before darting towards the window and launching herself at it, bracing her head as her body shot through the glass. A tiny sound filled the area as her body made contact with the glass, and she found herself sprawled out on the ground. Sharp pieces of glass littered the ground around her, and she hauled herself into a sitting position, blood trickling down her face as she shook out her pelt.

As Creon lay sulking in his own stubbornness, the sound of bursting glass split the eerie silence of the room, forcing him to jerk his head up in a quick motion, whacking the top of it on the low roof of his cage with a bang. "Bloody hell!" He snarled at the tingling pain that trickled down from the top of his head, but soon shook it off and turned around to see what the commotion was about. In the dark room, and his restricted line of sight from his cage's position prevented him from locating the source of the sound. Shrugging, he turned back around and lay on his belly, assuming it was simply the clumsiness of the human worker.

Shock exploded through Helian, sending electric jolts of fright spiraling up spine as her fur stood on end. Her ears pressed back against her head as her eyes widened to the size of large discs, and the wolf found herself tumbling through the window after her friend, sharp bursts of pain blossoming in her body as the jagged glass sliced through her flesh. She barely landed on her paws, stumbling for balance as she scanned Adro's body before focusing on her own. Shiny bits were trapped in their skin and caught on their pelts as red threads of dark blood stained their fur, trickling out of open cuts and paper-thin slits.

Helian swallowed nervously, wondering how long it would take to clean themselves up. However, the image of the trapped wolves pacing in their cages flashed through her mind, reminding her to stay on task. "Well," she shakily whispered, traces of laughter caught in her words, "aren't we a beautiful mess?" She glanced both ways, but she saw no signs of danger. A musky scent of leather, sweat, and humans draped the air, and she wrinkled her nose, but she quickly smoothed the emotions from her face when she caught the smell of the trapped wolves surrounding them. "Well, that was surprisingly easy to find them," she muttered, wincing as her paws crunched on broken glass. Every bit of her ached from slamming into the tree and getting cut open, but she knew they needed to quickly move before the humans returned.

"Adro and I came back for you guys," Helian hissed, already opening one of the locks. The cage door squeaked as it swung open.

Adro shot a glance at Helian. "You mean you came back for these guys. Why would I wanna rescue him?" The wolf muttered, gesturing at Creon as she narrowed her eyes. Craning her neck, she tried to pull out a large piece of glass from her side, but the object was too far and stuck deep in her skin. Letting out an annoyed growl, she shook her fur out again, before padding in the broken glass, hearing the soft crunches under her paws. She could care less about getting cuts on her paws - she would die soon, anyway. Standing in front of Creon, she wrinkled her muzzle in disgust. "So, mutt. Change your bloody mind yet?" she snapped, glaring at the brute scornfully.

Naviah sat there for a moment, what about the others? Soon after Helian and Adro went to find a way in so they could get the Hooters back "We'll wait here." she barked quietly, they didn't want to be surprised by a human's return. Naviah looked at the forest, it was so close, then a thought came to her mind; Those humans will come looking for them, if they caught the wolves they would be is serious trouble. She could only imagine what they would do to them. Naviah almost yelped in surprise when she heard glass breaking "I think they found a way in." Naviah hoped the others would even want to come.

Helian rolled her eyes, moving towards Creon's cage and flipping open the lock. "Believe me," she muttered, "a part of him longs for freedom, but he isn't willing to admit it." She swung her head towards Adro at the sound of a low growl erupting from the wolf's throat. Helian's head stretched forward as her jaws gently closed around the piece of glass embedded into her friend's flank. She carefully slipped it out and dropped the shard onto the ground. It clattered softly in protest as she eyed the remaining, small bits laced in the wolf's body, but she decided it would have to wait till later. She shifted uncomfortably as the glass in her own flesh moved along with her, and the taste of Adro's blood resting on her own muzzle reminded her of how hungry she was. A frown spread over her face at her own thoughts as she jerked her stare towards Creon.

"You coming or not?" Helian asked him, barely able to restrain the snappy attitude that had abruptly overwhelmed her.

Creon flicked his ears forward, rather on surprise at seeing the two females from before. Instantly, he narrowed his eyes at theoone known as Adro and huffed. "Oh shut your bloody mouth before I shut it for you." He snarled, rising to his paws and turning to face them. Boredly glancing over at Helain when she popped his cage's lock, he flattened his ears. "Yeah? Say's who?" He grumbled to her first statement, nosing the cage door to swing it open farther. Finally, with an exasperated sigh, he caved. "Fine. I'll join you pathetic mutts on your brave little escape mission, but not 'cause I care. I've just realized how damn boring it is in there, is all." He muttered, ducking his head stubbornly as he leaped from his cage and onto the cold concrete floor.

"Sure." Adro muttered, rolling her eyes at the brute's words. "Yay. I can't wait to travel with you." The female growled, no enthusiasm in her voice. Shooting a hateful glare at Creon, her eyes trailed over to the scarred brute (LoneAlphaOfTheShadows [forgot your charrie's name]). "You coming?" she barked, feeling slightly annoyed that the wolves kept on changing their minds.

Having just finished unlocking the last cage, Helian gaped at Creon, her fur bristling as her ears flattened back against her skull. "You just realized?" she gasped before her face smoothed over, and she turned away with a huff, trotting over towards the broken lower window while ignoring the stabbing pain shooting through her. "Let's get out of this dump before those nasty idiots get a hold of us again," she mumbled, jumping through the gaping hole in the window in an attempt to avoid getting her flesh torn on the glass again. A muffled yelp shot out of her throat as the glass trapped in her paws pressed deeper into her, and one of her ears flattened against her head in partial submission to the pain. She glanced behind to see how well Adro was faring.

Seeing the cae's breaking out of their locks, Boxxy jumped at the cage bars, smashing her skull against them. The sudden buzzing in her ears made her flatten her ears in pain, but she kept on, snapping at the lock and ramming the bars. Finally, the lock burst off, and the young coyote rammed through the open gate. She smashed into the wall before her, releasing a slight yelp at the impact. Seeing the other cae's fleeing through the windows, she too leapt up, smashing her paws against it's soft glass with a shriek of pain once again. Her paws successfully smashed it open, and she was climbing it up in an attempt to flee. She managed to leap over, landing straight on her back on the comfy forest floor. Now, let's see where those others left.. Her mind clicked, and she started to pelt away from the building, stopping far enough to see the windows smashed open.

Adro rolled her eyes, pain stabbing through her body as she winched a little. "Whatever. Don't come whining to us." She muttered, glancing around. Her gaze averted to Helian, and she nodded at the wolf. "I'm going to get out of here." Adro informed Helian, shaking out her pelt. "And probably try to get this out of my fur." She uttered under her breath, ambling towards the cages. Repeating what she had done, she finally reached the grass, an uneasy huff escaping her maw as she plopped to the ground, pain shooting up her limbs. Scowling, she craned her neck, trying to rip out the pieces of glass which were stuck in her pelt.

((Basically, some wolves managed to break out of their cages, and they escaped through a window that Helian opened. After jumping onto a nearby tree and clawing their way down to the forest ground, Adro and Helian decided to return for the wolves who were still trapped inside their cages. Adro smashed open a window, causing her and Helian to become wounded. Helian unlocked all the cages, and as of now, Creon, Adro, and Helian have jumped out the broken window and are going back to the others. The others had stayed behind to keep guard (Naviah, Shakiro, and Darkie)))

A sudden unlocking sound was heard and she whipped around snarling then realising one of the wolves opened her cage "Thanks" she muttered and quietly leapt out. Clumbing through the window avoiding small amounts of glass, then clambering across a tipped over tree. Reaching the ground she spotted a small group of canines and padded towards them.

Creon let out a subtle huff and started after the faes as they led the way to freedom. Hopping up, he squeezed his large frame through the shattered window, wincing in alarm as a jagged piece of glass embedded itself in his paw pad. Stumbling to his feet on the other side, he landed into a limp, keeping his bleeding forepaw above the ground. "Bloody hell!" He exclaimed aloud  snarling at his paw. Pausing, he plopped down to his haunches and raised his paw, gingerly grasping the blood coated glass shard that jutted from his pad with his teeth. With a hard jerk of his head, he ripped the glass piece from his pad, snarling in pain.

(Hnng, yeah, sorry  Coffee.

Naviah saw the others slowly emerging from the broken window "There they are." she barked as she padded over. She saw Creon was limping, she tilted her head but ignored it. She saw Adro lay down and pull shards of glass from her pelt, Naviah walked over with her head low "Here, I'll help.." she was a little cautious as she slowly bent down and gently pulled out the shards in hard to reach places. She left the easier ones to Adro then walked over to Creon "Are you okay?"she said softly as she looked at his injured paw. She wasn't his friend but her friendly personality wanted to help. Naviah had her ears pinned against her skull, waiting for his rude response. Before getting an answer she ran over to Helian, who looked like she was in pain. Naviah presumed she had also gotten glass in her paw pads "You need to get off your paws or the glass with go deeper." she whined as she helped her as much as she could.

Creon scrunched his muzzle in a pained growl at the fae, giving his paw a shake. "I'm fine. Since when do you lot care so much, anyway?" He grumbled, reaching his head down to run his tongue over his bleeding paw to prevent an infection building.

Helian winced, restraining a growl tinged with annoyance as Naviah rushed over. She knew her friend was only trying to help, but she wanted to get deeper into the forest before tending to her wounds. The fear of being caught by the humans once again overwhelmed her, rising above the pain. "I know, I know," she choked out through clenched teeth, keeping her voice as grateful as possible. She allowed herself to flop onto her side and released a muffled yelp as pain from her wound exploded through her body. She quickly switched to the other flank and carefully pulled the glass out of her paws, growling and spitting out the shards as threads of blood stained the blades of grass. She glanced over to see how Adro was doing, and relief filled her as she saw that her friend appeared to be fine, despite the leftover cuts from the glass.

((mostly waiting for others...))

When Adro's paws touched the ground, relief washed over her as she glanced swiftly at the three, wondering what they were thinking. Shrugging, she began to pull out the last bit of glass she could reach, knowing well that she would have to quickly treat the wounds before they became infected. "I'm an idiot." She muttered under her breath, wishing she had never broke through the window.

Helian took a shaky breath as she began the slow, methodical process of carefully pulling out the glass. She lightly closed her teeth over the largest piece of glass as though it were a delicate china doll, and she slowly pulled it out, slightly wincing as she did so. After what seemed like forever, all sorts of pieces of glass stained with threads of red in various areas surrounded the fae like a twisted, bloody masterpiece. She slowly shook her large head and carefully steadied herself onto her paws, having already licked at her cuts to prevent infection. She tossed a glance at Adro.

"I suppose we all can run off into the forest now," Helian said softly, but a small piece of fear was nibbling at her. What if all the years of being locked up in cages had erased their minds of the instincts they needed to survive in the wild? She had always relied on the humans to feed her, even though they rarely did, and the dull metal bars stained with salt had always been her home. Her tail began to tuck itself in between her legs, but she uncoiled it, unwilling to allow her fear to get the best of her. They would be able to make it. She wondered if they would all be going their separate ways now and make enemies of each other, despite the fact that they had become friends during their time in the cages. What if that were to come true? The thought of fighting Naviah to the death seared itself into her mind, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get it out of her head. She tossed a worried glance at her friends.
