According to an old legend, when the end of the world comes, a place known as Paradise will appear. However, only wolves will know how to find it. Although wolves are believed to have been hunted to extinction nearly Six hundred years ago, they still exist, surviving by taking human forms. Freeze City is a northern human city in a world where the majority of people live in poverty and hardship.
Now a new generation of wolves have been born to re-open Paradise with the New Flower Maiden.
Rules
~No god-modding or power playing
~I decided to change it up a bit. The wolves can hold solid human forms, but only if they are strong enough.
~Only one wolf per person.
~You can also Role-play as nobles and regular humans, even the flower maiden.(If no one applies to be the flower maiden she will be a NPC)
~Romance and drama are allowed, but don't get into detail about certain things.. >.>
~Keep the genders balanced
Setting
Freeze city, a poor town. People who live here are in poverty and can barely keep themselves alive. The smell of Lunar flowers are drawing wolves from all over, to this city.

Personality: Luna is a kind and gentle wolf, even when it comes to humans. She can also be very silly and hyper when she is around other canines. Luna is also very brave and courageous but she can also be stubborn and aggressive. She is very protective and loyal to her friends and family, she will do anything to keep them safe.
History: Luna has lived with humans for as long as she can remember, she doesn't remember her mother much or her siblings. She just knows that she is a pet of a wolf hunter and was trained to hunt wolves, she has no idea that she herself is a wolf since she was raised like a dog.
Extra: She has a black leather collar that is around her neck at all times.

Courfeyrac strode along the bustling street of inner Freeze City, hands casually resting in the pockets of his light brown jacket. He'd grown pretty good at sneaking food from the carts of street vendors, and a burger stand not too far ahead was looking pretty promising. Walking past the cart and onto the sidewalk, he leaned on the wall of the building just behind the food stand, whistling nonchalantly. The food vendor worked obliviously flipping fresh patties for customers. Glancing both ways and deciding the coast was clear enough, Courf continued whistling to himself and kicked the trash can beside him over. The metal can landed with a loud clang on the concrete, obviously drawing the attention of the nearby people. Their attention on the mysterious toppled can, Courfeyrac slipped around and past the front of the cart, grabbing a couple burgers and swiftly stuffing them into his jacket pockets in one smooth motion. The vendor, his back turned, scratched his head and shrugged off the randomly toppled trash can and returned to flipping his patties, not noticing the two missing burgers. Smirking, Courfeyrac slipped into an alleyway and trudged over to the large staircase at the end, plopping down and whipping out one of his stolen burgers, licking his lips in anticipation of the easy meal.

Luna
The wolf padded through the streets of Freeze City with her owner in tow, she sniffed around looking for any scent of a wolf they had tracked here. Luna's ears perked when she heard a loud clang coming from down the street "Let's go check it out." said Henry, her owner. Luna looked up at him then trotted down the street "I can smell the wolf." she growled "What is it Luna? I s it the wolf?" He un-clipped her leash "Go!" he commanded. Luna ran down the street, following the scent until she came to a dark alley way,the scent was leading right into here. She lowered her head then slowly walked down the alley until the wolf came into view, she could see right past his illusion. She snarled then began to bark viciously "Damn wolf." she snapped. She could hear Henry's footsteps behind her "Hey Luna! That's just a man. "Sorry about this." he said as he clipped her leash on and tried to pull her away "Come on Luna!" he yelled as he tugged on the leash, but she kept trying to get to the wolf, she only wished that he could see that he wasn't a human. Luna growled the spun around, she grabbed his sleeve then pulled lightly "What's wrong with you, girl?" he rubbed her head "Henry! Come on, he's a wolf!" she barked, if only he could understand her. "Let's go Luna." She turned around the face the wolf, her ears perked and head raised "You can't hide forever." she growled before turning and following Henry.
Luna was in a bad mood when they arrived at the bar "Stay here." he said as he tied her to a pole then went inside. Luna watched the people go by and the occasional stray dog, she sat down then waited for Henry to leave the bar. But who knows when that would be. Her stomach growled loudly "I would kill for something to eat." she groaned as she watched a nearby hot dog stand with hunger in her eyes. Henry usually kept her fed but he had forgotten this morning. She whined then stood up, she tugged on the leash, trying to break free from it. With no luck she turned to face the leash then grabbed it between her large teeth then began chewing "Come on.." she growled as she tore at it. Finally, it came free. She wagged her tail then ran over to the hot dog stand, jumping up to grab one then running down the street. "Hey! Get that dog!" the man yelled, Luna heard footsteps behind her but she didn't turn around. She turned down an alley then jumped into a cardboard box "I think I lost them." she said with relief. She wolfed down the hot dog then licked her chops, she was about to leave when the hot dog stand owner ran in front of her "Where do you think you're goin?" he scowled as he kicked her side. She yelped then fell to the ground as he repeatedly kept kicking her "Dumb mutt!" he yelled as he kicked her head. The man smirked then backed away, Luna stumbled to her paws then faced him a snarl ripping from her throat. The man's eyes grew wide, he tried to run but she was on him in an instant, tearing into his throat. Luna felt something inside of her light up but she didn't know what it was, she jumped off of the body then left the alley.

Courfeyrac nearly choked on his hamburger when a collared wolf suddenly tore around the corner and into his alley, snarling at him. Staring wide-eyed at the fae, he raised an eyebrow at her words. "Huh?-..." He muttered, scratching his head. The stranger looked much like another wolf, but the collar- and her insults- were misleading. He rose to his feet and began to back up slightly, but let out a sigh of relief when a human, apparently the canine's owner, came running over to collect his dog. "Oh- Uh- No problem." He stammered, not taking his wide, confused eyes off the odd canine. When thee man finally managed to drag the dog out of view, Courf let out a sigh. "Phew." He murmured, plopping back down on his steps.
Courfeyrac allowed little time to pass before quickly reaching for his second burger. "Man, this human food is tasty, alright, but it's not very filling." He said to himself, biting into the large burger. As he feasted on his stolen food, savage barking and a human scream rang against his ear drums. Stuffing the burger into his jacket pocket, he ran towards the sound to investigate. Wheeling around a corner, he came to a clumsy skidding halt, gaping in surprise at what he saw. The lifeless, mangled body of a man lay in a crimson puddle on the concrete in one of the back alleys. Though he didn't care for humans what-so-ever, he was curious. No one around, he slid down into his wolf form to get a better investigation of the body. Stepping closer, he nosed at the body with his muzzle, sniffing it. Instantly, a vaguely familiar scent assaulted his sensitive nostrils. That one dog from earlier! Padding around the human's corpse, a few bloody pawprints that faded into a nearby connecting alley caught his eye. Shifting into his devious human form again, he trudged after the prints, peering around the corner into the dark alley. This dog was obviously hostile, and he didn't want to provoke it. "Uhhh, hello?" He murmured quietly, cautiously stepping into the darkness. Because of the dimness of the alley, he felt it better to be in his wolf form, in case he was forced to defend himself. His slightly hooked claws tapped against the cold cement as he slowly padded deeper into the alley, tracing the fae's fading scent that soon blended in with the stench of the alley. "Anyone in here?" He yipped quietly, laying his ears back. There was something about this 'dog' that interested him, and he wanted answers.

Name: Mishka [ It means teddy bear in Russian ]
Age: 1 1/5 years old [ 13 years old ]
Gender: Male
Personality: Miska is a very kind and playful wolf who loves to play and be around his other kind. He also secretly has a special spot for humans, though he tries not to show it. Normally he is very shy and timid around strangers, lurking around like a ghost. He pokes to seem invisible, especially the fact the he's a wolf. Usually he is bright and seems to act like a pup. He also will get attached to someone like a friend and hang around them for a long time.
History: His history is a secret and will be revealed to someones he's close friends with.
Extra: Mishka is a tiny built teen. He is naturally very skinny and not very tall but he isn't short like a midget. He has very dark brunette hair which looks like the color of a teddy bear. As a wolf he is slender and looks very young, also because he is still a young teen. He has light hazel eyes and his fur color a dark shade just like his human form but in the spring very light and not noticible highlights appear in the roots of his fur.
[ Mishka is a resemblance to Toboe :3 I love him so much <3 I was going to make Mishka have black hair but a guy with a shy personality doesn't seem like it fits. ]

Blue was my absolute favorite character <3 Luna is based off of her so there will be many similarities ^^)
Luna
Luna whined, she didn't know what came over her. She couldn't believe what she did, she killed a human, the race she was protecting. She lowered her ears then whined again, she almost yelped in surprise when she heard a voice, then the smell of a wolf. She stood up then bared her fangs, Henry said that wolves were evil, they killed without reason. She froze, she had killed a man but he was attacking..but she took food from him. She stumbled to the side with a look of horror on her face, she wasn't a wolf..Was she? She stood there for a moment, she began to think as far back as she could. Trees. She remembered the smell of the trees and the forest. She remembered a black wolf, her mother and a white wolf, her father. "No, no no no."she whined as she looked around, how could she be so stupid? She backed away from the wolf in front of her, this whole time she has been hunting down her own kind. She thought for a moment, this wolf isn't why she came here. It was the smell of Lunar flowers.
Luna looked at the wolf one last time, as if saying sorry for trying to attack him, then bolted down the street. Blood covered her maw, she could still taste that man's blood. Gasps of shock and horror came from all sides as she ran then she heard her name "Luna!" it was Henry. She ran to his call, she just wanted his comfort again. When she spotted him she lowered her ears then wagged her tail "Luna! What happened to you!" Luna had blood on her face, that poor man's blood. Luna rubbed her face into his chest, small whines escaping her mouth "Step away from that dog." commanded a deep voice. Luna turned around and saw uniformed men "That dog is a killer, it must be dealt with." Henry stood in front of her "You can't take her! I don't care what she did! She is all I have left!" he yelled as he tried to swing at the man in front. The man dodged the punch then swung the butt of his rifle down on his head, knocking him to the ground "Henry!" She howled as she ran to him. "Get it." the man commanded. Luna felt the men put leads around her neck then began to pull her away from her beloved Henry, she snarled at them. She tried to grab them but they were using these odd metal poles with ropes going trough them "Let me go!" she growled as she swung her head around. She yelped in pain when one of them slammed into her with a rifle, she growled again trying to get away.
"Luna!" Henry cried as he tried to stand but fell down again. Luna looked back, Henry had tears flowing down his face. She whined, she just wanted to be left alone, she wanted to go back to Henry. Soon they arrived at a truck with a cage in the truck bed. Two men hoisted her up then roughly threw her into the cage and slammed it shut. She snarled then rammed into the bars of the cage, trying to break free. The man who struck Henry glared at her, his eyes were cold and unforgiving "You will pay for what you did to that man." Luna growled then rammed into the bars again, trying to sink her teeth into that man's flesh.

(Hige was my favorite. Gah! I love him. Courfeyrac is super based off him, as well. X3 Hehe. I frikin' loved Toboe, too. Saddest death by far in my opinion. ;-; Cried for about an hour over that. XD)
Courfeyrac stiffened as the other canine stepped out, noticing her blood stained face in the dim light. Before he could open his jaws to say anything to her, she bolted. "Hey! Where are you going?!" The wolf barked, quickly dashing after her. He skidded on his paw pads to a hard stop at the corner of the alley that led into a street once noticing the humans. "Crap!" He yipped, clambering backwards to shift into his human figure. Peeking around the corner, he lowered an eyebrow, watching as the men lassoed the feisty she-wolf with their metal catch poles, then hoisted her into an old truck. Where the hell are they taking her? There's no doubt she's not a wolf! I can't let them do anything to the only other wolf I've ever seen! Courf thought to himself as he casually strolled out of the alleyway and down the street in the direction the truck had headed. For all I know, she could be the last one, other than myself. He added in his mind, only convincing him he needed to help her escape even more.

Luna
Luna stopped trying to get out of the cage, she knew it was no use. She turned to look at the men who were now leaning against the front of the truck smoking a cigarette "What do you think they are going to do to it?" The leader smirked "Probably study it, we all know it isn't a dog. A dog wouldn't kill like that, and they sure as hell aren't that big." Luna watched them, so she was a wolf, all this time.. "But sir, wolves have been instinct for hundreds of years." the man finished his cigarette "Rob, come on. Don't tell me you believe that tale too? Whatever, let's go." Luna growled as they entered the truck, she looked down the alley and saw Henry was still laying on the ground. She heard curses as they tried to start the truck but it failed to rev to life "Dammit!" Rob cursed as he slammed the palm of his hand against the steering wheel. Luna caught herself chuckling at their predicament. The three men stepped out of the truck, Rob went to the front and lifted the hood. "Hey boss, come here."He waved him over, soon all three of them were looking under the truck's hood, completely distracted. Luna began to look around the cage, trying to find a way out.

Courfeyrac had followed the humans' actions with his eyes, keeping his distance and waiting for a chance to help out his fellow wolf. He leaned against the side of a building, hands in his jacket pockets, trying to look as natural as possible. "Hmm?" He raised an eyebrow at the sputtering engine of the junky truck as it failed to start. Now's my chance. He told himself as the men went around to the front of the truck to check the engine. Shooting a quick glance in both directions, Courf hurried silently over to the cage in the back of the truck. "Psst." He whispered to catch the attention of the alert she-wolf behind the bars. "Shhh, stay quiet. I'm gonna bust ya outta here." He murmured quietly, his human hands clumsily fiddling with the padlock that secured the cage door. When his hands failed him, he paused and let out a huff, glancing around. "Ah, screw it." He muttered, boldly shifting down into his true self and simply snapping hold of one of the bars with his jaws. He figured resorting to gnawing at the bar would be the best bet. Clenching his jaws tighter, he tugged at the metal bar with all his body force until it had slowly bent to the side. "Gah." He released the bar to run his tongue over his teeth. "My teeth are way too delicate for this."(Hige quote for the win). He muttered, shaking his head and glancing back at the trapped fae. "Think you can fit through that?"

A shadow lathered the side of a broken down building, its bricks shattered into crumbling rocks. Half of its frame was making a hill of stone on one side while the other half had vines and other dead greens growing along it. A short boy scampered quickly through the narrow alley ways that boulder-like men couldn't fit through. It was perfect for him to hide in for short periods of time. Noise and commotion sounded on the west side of town, ambulances sounding off and the shouts of men that are armed with explosives. Mishka, the boy rounded a corner to a semi Main Street where all of the commotion was starting up. He realized a tall and scary looking man walked up to him, a rifle ready to fire. "Hello, I ask you to not get to close to this crime scene." Mishka nodded briskly, his body trembling. Quickly he scrambled away. Right as he was about to make a corner he looked up at the roof of a plain grey building. He saw ledges on the side and silently leaped onto one. His fingers tightly gripping around the rock and he climb forward until he reached the top. Bravely his feet took him to the edge. The wind mingled with his long dark hair, cooling him down from the sun's heat. His hazel pools looked down, suddenly spotting a slender guy dashing after an odd looking vehicle. Curiosity wondered through his mind, but some kind of urge made him want to learn more about what was going on.

Luna
Luna jumped in surprise when the wolf showed up, she was shocked he would even want to help her after what she tried to do. She watched as his illusion tried to undo the lock but failed. He dropped the illusion then pried the bars with his jaws, making enough space just for her to fit "I think so." she said as she shoved her body through. She struggled to squeeze through but she made it, once her paws were on the ground she ran down the alley, not thinking to thank the wolf. She licked Henry's cheek "Luna..?" he said weakly "Good girl." he muttered as he stumbled to his feet. Luna whined as he stumbled forward "Come on." he said as he pulled on her collar. Luna whined then turned to look at the wolf who helped her "What is-" Henry stopped mid sentence at what he saw "Luna, that's a wolf!"he yelled as he released her, expecting her to attack "Luna! What are you doing?" Luna lowered her ears "What's wrong with you? Whatever I'll do this myself." He pulled out a hunting rifle and aimed it at the wolf, his finger tightening on the trigger. Luna knew she had to use the human form to stop him. Her human form was girl with long dark hair and a gray tank top with a white hoodie and black shorts with knee high boots and dark gray leggings. Luna jumped in front of the gun as he pulled the trigger, the bullet going through her shoulder, she fell to the ground "Henry, it's me.." she said through clenched teeth "Luna..? What...why..He's a wolf." He fell backwards, horror in his eyes "How..are you human?" Luna winced as she grabbed her shoulder "I'm a wolf pops, I always thought I was different from other dogs." (The all famous nickname for Quent) Henry jumped up then took her in his arms "I'm so sorry Luna, why would you jump in front of a bullet for a wolf?" Luna smiled "He is like me, I can't let on of my own kind be killed anymore." His grip around her tightened "You're not going to leave me are you?" Luna frowned "I have to, there is something here that is calling me.."
Henry held her out at arms length "What do you mean? You can't leave me Luna!" he cried as he hugged her again "I wish I could have talked to you like this sooner." she said while a tear rolled down her cheek "I'm sorry, pops. I have to go." She gently pushed him away then stood up and walked away "Luna! Come back! You can't do this to me!" he cried, Luna ignored him. It was easier for her to just walk away. Luna walked as fast as she could down the street,the sun was beginning to set, making the city dark and gloomy. She had tears streaming down her face, she wished she could stay with him forever but now that she knew what she was she couldn't. She had to find out where the smell of Lunar flowers were coming from.
I ended up changing her appearance, I ended up not being a fan of the white hair x.x
Also, I decided that the wolves could hold solid human forms, might make things a little easier.))

The chestnut brown wolf hopped backwards as the trapped fae slipped out and instantly made a break for a nearby alley. "Uh- Okay... Bye, then." Courfeyrac muttered, laying his ears back in confusion. As he was about to turn to shift into his human illusion, a commotion in the alley where the she-wolf disappeared into caught his attention. He let out a subtle gasp and straightened up in surprise at seeing the same human from earlier pointing a rifle at him- and the wolf he had just saved at his side. Tensing his muscles to make a mad dash in the other direction, his ears shot forward in alarm when the gunshot went off- and into the shoulder of the now human fae. "What- what's she doing!?" He murmured to himself, glancing around. When the female's human figure slipped into the busy street, Courfeyrac raised his eyebrows and darted after her. He wanted answers. Smoothly, he straightened up to his human self and hurried through the passing people to catch up with her. "Hey! Wait up!" He called, lengthening his strides until he was just behind her. "The hell was that about? And where are you going?" He asked loudly, shooting a quick glance over his shoulder. From the corner of his eye, he caught the faint glimpse of a young boy perched on the rooftop. Lowering an eyebrow at the strange sight, he shrugged it off and glanced back at the fae in front of him.

"You can smell it can't you? The smell of Lunar flowers."she didn't turn around, she just kept walking "This whole time I thought I was tracking you here, but it wasn't you. It was the Lunar flowers..They mean something." She recalled Henry reading a book to his son about a place called Paradise "Pops used to read a book called 'The Book of the Moon'. It was about wolves and their journey to open Paradise with a Flower Maiden who was created from a Lunar flower." She stopped and looked at him "That's where I'm going. I'm going to find her and then find Paradise, it's what we're are here for." Her dark hair covered her wound but the blood had covered her entire right side of her shirt. I was always told wolves were evil and needed to be killed,so that's what I did. I tracked them down and Henry killed them.." She looked at the ground, flashes of the wolves bodies running through her mind. A single tear rolled down her cheek, she was the evil one, she should be killed. She looked up at him "Thanks for helping me back there.." she said briefly before turning away and walking down the street once again. "Oh, and to answer your question;" she turned around "I wouldn't let him kill another wolf on my watch." she grinned then continued walking.

((Sooo, it's 3 in the morning here. I- I think I'm gonna go to bed after this post. XD Also, I'm not sure how often I'll be able to get on during the next couple of days, registration weekend for school and whatnot.))
Courfeyrac glanced down, then back up at the female, listening intently. "Paradise, huh?" He repeated, staring off as if he was in deep thought about something. "Hmm. Count me in! Not like I've got anything better to do around here." He smirked joyfully, stuffing his hands into his jacket pockets. "So, where do you expect to find this 'flower maiden?' If you're planning on just following that scent, I don't think it's a very good idea. Cause if she is here, there's no way she'd be in someplace very accessible, y'know? She's gonna be somewhere pretty locked down." He rambled, kicking a discarded soda can that happened to be in his path as they walked. He kept his gaze downward, listening as she continued speaking, then smirking up at her last remark. "Heh. Well, aannyway, my name's Courfeyrac." He introduced himself with a friendly smirk, scratching the back of his head.

"Interesting name..I'm Luna, if you didn't already know." she sniffed the air, the scent was weak her but the wind was carrying the scent, she looked over and saw a large building. It stood out "That's it." she said as she pointed with her good arm "The wind is blowing the scent from over there, and it looks like a place where they would hold her." She began to walk towards the building, but it was still a ways away "Maybe we should rest a while." she said as she walked down a dark alley "I have always been afraid of the dark." she confessed "Ever since I was a pup, I think something happened that's why. But I don't remember." She shivered a bit as she slid down the brick wall then landed on her rump "How funny is that? A wolf afraid of the dark?"she half chuckled. "Human bodies are so odd, they wouldn't last very long in the cold." she said with a shiver. She untied her hoodie from around her waist the put it on "It might be safer to stay like this since those men are looking for me." She rubbed her arms quickly "Hoe can humans live like this? In these fragile bodies. I can't stand it." She looked at him "How do you do it? It seems like you are like that quite a bit." Suddenly her stomach growled "I'm always hungry." she chuckled as she patted her stomach "I swear, there is a black hole in there." she laughed. She yawned then leaned her head against the wall then looked at the sky. The stars twinkled and menaced like they were happy "It's really pretty out." She yawned again, she was tired but she couldn't get her body to sleep. Her mind was on other things at the moment.

Courfeyrac shrugged and chuckled a bit at her first remark. "Yeaaaah. You can just call me Courf if ya want." He responded gazing up at the large building where the strong scent of Lunar Flowers seemed to be coming from. Nodding at Luna, he followed her into an alley. Putting his back against the side of the building, he slid down to sit, relaxing his head back a bit. "Heh, you can say that again." He chuckled in response to Luna's fear of the dark. Raising an eyebrow, he lazily glanced over at her. "I dunno. I've found it's just easier to walk around in this form around here. The people aren't too overjoyed to see a wolf walking down the street, y'know. It's just safer to blend in." He explained with a shrug, leaning back against the wall again and smirking at her stomach growl. "You're tellin' me! This human food is never too filling." He exclaimed with a grin, tracing her gaze up at the dark sky above. "Sure is. But I bet it's better outside this damn city." He said with a subtle sigh, slouching down a bit with a yawn.

Luna was almost asleep when she heard stumbling foot steps and smelled a familiar scent "..Henry?" she asked quietly, soon her question was answered. Henry walked by the alley, drunk out of his mind. Luna switched to her wolf form then limped over to him, she bumped her head against his thigh and whined. "Oh! There ya are girl." he slurred as he stumbled to his knees as he tried to pet her "Geez, what happened to you?" he asked as his clumsy hand went over the bullet hole in her shoulder. He didn't remember, maybe he didn't want to remember her betrayal. She licked his hand tenderly, saying sorry for leaving. He gave her a drunken smile "Let's go home, Luna." he muttered as he struggled to stand straight, she barked then let him use her body as a support. She winced when pressure was put onto her right paw, but she ignored it then helped Henry walk to his destination.
Finally, they arrived at a motel "You stay out here, okay?" he tripped over his words "I'll see ya in the morning.." he patted her head then went inside. Luna sat at the door for a few more minutes before padding down the street, she could hear people talking as she walked by, probably wondering what was up with her shoulder. She looked at the people who still hadn't gone inside yet, her eyes trailing over them, did they know that she was the one who killed that man? She whined then turned down another street, she didn't know where she was going at this point. She just let her brain lead the way. Before she knew it she stood in front of the large metal building, her amber eyes trailing over it, this place was massive. She saw two men standing outside of the building, but they weren't paying much attention to her so she ran up to the doors then pushed her way in. It was extremely white in here, the walls were flawless, not a single scratch or chip. She looked back at the large double doors, what about Courf? Maybe he would follow her scent. Suddenly Luna smelled an unforgettable scent, noble. She had smelled them many times before on her travels, she even had a run in with them. She didn't like anything about them. The scent was fresh "He was here not long ago." she growled as she limped down the hall, luckily her wound had scabbed over and stopped bleeding. "What's a noble doing here?" she asked herself as she nosed around, following his scent.
Luna came to a long hallway that had an elevator at the end of it "If she is here I'm guessing she would be on the top floor.."she said to herself before running down the hall. When she arrived at the elevator she jumped up and hit the up button then waited for the carrier to come to her. Once it reached the main floor she stepped in the then jumped up, hitting the number 30 with her nose. When the elevator lifted it made her stumble over "These things are weird, but they are easier than taking the stairs I suppose." Luna perked her ears "What is that?" she could hear banging and yelling. She waited for the doors to open before bolting out, she almost yelped at what she saw. There were men and woman in white coats sprawled out all over the floor, some had cuts to their necks while others had wounds to the chest and stomach. The smell of blood flooded her nostrils but the faint smell of noble also entered "He did this."she snarled. She jumped over the bodies, following the noble's scent, which led to a large metal door that was partially opened. She slowly used her nose to open the door, it was dark in there, like someone had shut off the lights. When she entered she saw a tall figure holding something in his arms, Luna sniffed the air the smell of Lunar flowers were mixed in with the noble's.
Luna went tense, that was her. The maiden. Luna tensed up when the noble turned around "Well, hello there." he sneered as he held a long sword in his hands "Please, get out of my way." Luna snarled, "No way, I came here for her." she walked forward "Put her down." she snapped. The noble smirked "I don't want to have to kill you." at his words the maiden jolted, like she was afraid. Luna snarled then lunged at him, her teeth sinking into the armor on his arm "You actually think you can hurt me?" he said calmly before throwing her to the ground. She yelped but jumped right back up then lunged at him again, he swung his sword, cutting down her side. As her blood spilled onto the ground the maiden let out cry, it was so sad. Luna whined then covered her ears with her paws "Shut up!" the noble ordered before slapping the maiden. "Don't touch her.." Luna growled as she stumbled to her paws, she wasn't going to let him take her.

Mishka carefully sneaked along the edge of the building, almost holding his breath as his scared eyes gazed down at the long distance down to the ground. "If only I was a bird." He muttered faintly. He turned around and very slowly made his way down, sweat forming along his slender frame. Not only armed men were scary but heights were too. Mishka took a deep breath as his worn boots thudded onto the cement ground. Nothing is better then being able to walk on earth again.. His long legs took him along the city, not knowing where their next stop would be. The sound of cars honking and men yelling rang in his sensitive ears. Though it was so common for him he hardly ever noticed all of the corruption. The young boy realized his legs were taking him to a tall building he had seen many times in the distance before. Some smell was very strong, a floral scent that he couldn't lay a finger on. "I wonder what's in that building.." His high voice murmured. Mishka suddenly clenched his hands and covered his ears tightly, an over whelming scream piercing his brain. His tiny stature crumbled down to the ground, a thud sounding. In a defensive way the boy curled into a ball, trying to hide from the sad cry of a creature.

"Hmm?" Courf glanced up to see Luna had once again vanished, probably ran off to be with that human again. "Why does she keep doing that!?" He exclaimed to himself, sitting up to glance around for any trace of her. Soon, he shrugged and leaned back against the wall again. "She sure is a sucker when it comes to that human." He muttered, closing his eyes to relax a bit. After a while, the odd silence began to stir him restlessly. I thought she was done with that human? What's so great about living with one anyway? He couldn't help but think, crossing his arms in an attempt to keep himself warm from the frosty night air. More time passed, without even a sound from Luna. "She totally ditched me!" Courf murmured, furrowing his eyebrows. Before he could shrug it off, a high pitched piercing cry assaulted his ear drums. Clenching his teeth together and eyes shut, he clasped his human hands over his ears, tightly pressing down to muffle the bone-shaking scream that jabbed at his head. As quickly as it had begun, the cry quickly faded into the air, leaving Courfeyrac shaken and alarmed. "What the hell was-" He cut himself off, eyes widening in realization. "The Flower Maiden!" Instantly assuming their mythical key to Paradise was in some sort of danger, he quickly hopped to his feet and made a made dash towards the sound- which he soon discovered was coming from the top of the tallest building in Freeze City.

The noble dropped the maiden then dual wielded his swords "If you want it to be this way, then be it." he walked towards the injured wolf his swords swinging "I'll kill you." she snarled before jumping at him, her teeth sinking onto his arm again. The metal tasted horrid, she released her grip then jumped back "Let's make this quick." he smirked while jumping at her. Luna jumped to her left, dodging the attack "Stop moving!" he boomed as he threw his sword at her, striking her hind leg. The maiden reacted by getting up and walking towards the fallen wolf, Luna yelped as she grabbed the sword and pulled it out of her left leg "Damn you."she snarled as she got to her paws. The maiden tried to get to Luna but the noble kicked her away "I said don't touch her!" she snapped, Luna stumbled to the side, her blood spilling onto the once white tiled floor. "Does that make you angry, wolf?" he asked before grabbing the maiden by the arm, the maiden had a pained expression "Let her go!" she growled as she jumped up and latched onto his shoulder, bingo. There was no armor here, she bite down harder, sending the noble to the ground.
"Stupid creature." he growled before grabbing her by the scruff then slamming her into the ground. Luna yelped in pain as her injured body hit the hard floor. "I have no time for this." he grabbed his bloodied sword and sheathed it before grabbing the maiden and sprinting away "No!" Luna howled as she tried to get up but fell back into her own blood. She snarled as she lay there, her body was mangled and beaten. Luna almost yelped when the light turned on, she looked around but didn't see who it could have been. The floor was covered in her blood, it looked like a battlefield. Luna whined then closed her eyes, she was beyond tired now, maybe she should just rest for a while.

Courfeyrac rapidly sprinted up the high stairs of the building, somehow evading the oddly relaxed security in the darkened building. He reached the top just in time to see a human- an obvious noble from the smell of it- retreating into the darkness. As he disappeared, so did the strong scent of Lunar Flowers. Anger forcing him to his wolf form, he took a couple snarling strides forward, but skidded to a clumsy halt upon noticing Luna laying limp on the blood splattered floor. Shooting one last snarl in the direction of the now completely vanished noble, he fixed his attention on the fae. "Luna? Luna! Are you alright?" He yipped, shaking her body with his forepaw and desperately hoping for a response.

Luna slowly opened her eyes when something had began to shake her. She saw a familiar face "Hey Courf." she smiled weakly before trying to stand up. She stood on shaking legs, her breaths were shaky, she tried to take a step but stumbled down. She laid there for a moment before using her human form, it might be a little easier if she used her hands. She got to her hands and knees then used the beam as a support, once on her two legs she walked forward. She staggered onto a metal table with a desktop on it "Damn him." she growled "We have to go after him." Luna was in extreme pain, her whole body felt like it had been thrown off a cliff. She looked at Courfeyrac "We aren't letting him get away with this." she looked down the long hallway, would she even make it out of the building? Yes, she had to.

Courfeyrac nudged her side in an attempt at helping her to her feet, stepping back when she shifted into her human form. Mimicking the action, he straightened into his own illusion. "Huh? What are you talking about? What happened?" He rapidly questioned, inching over to Luna. "Go after him? You can barely stand up!" He exclaimed, following after the stumbling fae.

Luna looked at him "I'll be fine." Luna felt like she had to go find the maiden right then, she didn't know what had come over her. Luna staggered to the doorway then grabbed the door frame "He took the maiden, the noble." she clenched her teeth, just thinking about it made her furious "It's my fault that he has her, I should have stopped him." Deep down she did feel like it was her fault he got away, she should have been faster. She made fists with her bloodied hands, she couldn't wait to get her jaws around the noble's throat. "Let's go." she finally said before moving around the door frame and into the hall.

Courfeyrac raised his eyebrows in astonishment. "The Maiden? He has her? Huh, no wonder he smelled so much like Lunar Flowers..." He trailed off for a moment in thought, then shook his head, darting after Luna. "I want to get her back as much as the next guy, but if that noble could do this to you that quickly, I'm not sure it's such a good idea right now. We should at least wait until you've healed up a bit..." He said, hoping to convince her. "But you shouldn't blame yourself." He added, pausing next to her as she gripped the door frame for support. "C'mon. We can easily trace her scent and find her, but right now I think you need to get those wounds patched up."

Luna looked at Courf "Fine, but I just can't go see a doctor like this. I'm sure they would wonder what the hell happened." She began to think "I have an idea." she dropped the illusion then limped down the hall and out of the building. Once outside there were police and flashing lights, Luna squinted against the bright lights then as quick as she could she walked into an alley. She stayed in the shadows until she came to a familiar building. She looked up at the blinking sign that read 'Motel' before nosing the door open. The desk clerk seemed to be distracted by something on the television so they had an easy route to the stairs. Luna followed the scent she knew so well until it led to an old wooden door. She hesitated before scratching the door, just under the handle "Come on."she silently pleaded. Luna wagged her tail when the door opened "Luna? What happened?" Luna whined the limped forward, licking his hand, she needed his help.
Henry seemed to have sobered up a bit, but it doesn't seem like he remembered shooting her or her transformation. "Here." he picked her up then placed her on a brown leather couch, she looked to Courfeyrac before stretching out. She swiveled her ears as she heard things being moved and tossed around, he must be getting medical supplies. The only thing that bother her was the hole going through her left hind leg, she growled, if she were fast enough she could have dodged it and he wouldn't have got away with the maiden. She was brought out of her agitation when Henry knelt down beside her "Okay, here we go." He was the only one who had ever treated her wounds, but they were never this severe, but Luna trusted him. Soon Luna fell into a deep sleep, she might as well sleep while she could.. Luna was rudely awakened by a hand shaking her shoulder "Luna? You alive?" Henry asked with a tinge of fear in his voice. When she opened her eyes he let out a sigh of relief "Thank god, Well I fixed you up as good as I can." he rubbed her head before cleaning up the bloody towels. Luna held her body up by her elbow while looking around, her eyes stopped at Courf "See? He isn't so bad." she grinned before slowly leaving the couch. She staggered a bit but soon caught herself, how long had she slept? She didn't know but she felt a lot better, well except for the wounds she had suffered, but she'll live. She limped over to the wolf then plopped down next to him and yawned "Is this your first time staying with a human?" she laid her chin on her paws "It isn't all that bad actually, especially if the human is kind." she wagged her tail at Henry as he tiredly walked by and threw himself on the couch, quickly falling asleep. She yawned again then slowly fell asleep.

Courfeyrac let out a sigh of relief at her agreement then hopped down into his true form, bolting after her. He flattened his ears as they exited the building, squinting at the flashing lights, but brushing past and followed close behind the limping she-wolf. Keeping his head low, he gazed around at his surroundings, walking to a stop once Luna did. His fur bristled upright and he dashed to the side when the door opened. "Luna- the Hell are you doing?" He whispered hoarsely from his shadowed spot far right of the doorway. The man seemed to be more friendly than he seemed when he first ran into him. As Luna confidently stepped inside, he slowly crept over to the doorway, peering around the frame, but keeping his body hidden behind it, watching from outside. "I think I'm gonna wait out here.." He mumbled, backing up a bit. Laying down outside the building, he took a brief nap while Luna was getting her wounds patched up. Moving back over to the door, he glanced inside once more. The man seemed to be pretty relaxed about wolves. Slightly convinced it was okay, he slowly slipped inside and lay down beside Luna, ears flat with discomfort at his surroundings. As she spoke, he glanced over at her and nodded subtly. "Heh, yep. Can't say I've been a big fan of 'em over the years." He responded with an awkward chuckle.

Luna was the first to wake, the sun hadn't even risen yet so it was still dark. Her wounds felt better but they were still aching if she made the wrong move. She slowly got to her feet, using her human body, she walked into the small kitchen and looked at Henry, who was still fast asleep on the couch. She frowned, she and Courf had to leave today, the maiden was no longer here so there wasn't a point in staying. She found a napkin and pen then began to write,
Henry,
I'm sorry for leaving without saying goodbye, it's easier for both of us this way. The thing we are seeking is no longer here so we must move on. If you don't remember yesterday, let me sum it up for you; I'm a wolf, and I can use a human form to communicate with the other humans, which is how I am writing this. I hope you won't see me as the enemy now that you know. Goodbye Henry, maybe we will meet again someday. Oh, don't kill anymore wolves, okay? For me.

Luna felt a hot tear roll down her cheek, her body quivered as she read over the note. She didn't want to do this but she knew she had to. She quickly walked over to Courf "Hey, we gotta go." she gently nudged him with her hand before quietly exiting the room. She wanted to get out of here, she thought the sooner she was gone the sooner her pain of leaving Henry would go away. Once outside small snowflakes gently landed on her head, making her shiver. She loved the snow, it almost always brought happiness with it, well for her at least. She jammed her hands into the pockets of her hoodie then left the city with her newly found friend.

Courfeyrac snorted awake at Luna's nudge. "Huh? Already?" He muttered groggily, stretching his maw in a yawn and glancing at the window, which showed it was still dark out. "But it's not even day time..." He grumbled tiredly, sitting up into his illusion and rubbing his eyes with his hand. "Alright, alright. I'm comin'." Courf mumbled, shoving himself up to his feet and trudging after her, dragging his feet. Stepping outside, a small shiver crept up his spine, his breath lightly visible as a vapor in the snowy air. "Great, it's snowing again." He sighed, flipping the hood of his light jacket over his head and stuffing his hands into the jacket pockets. "Hey, wait up, will ya!" He called after Luna, who had already started towards the city limits, jogging to catch up to her.

Luna walked through the ankle deep snow, her human body shivering, why hadn't she used her wolf form? Was she getting comfortable with this body? She wasn't quite sure. She looked towards Courf then back at the powdery ground, she was depressed but she didn't want to say anything. Luna preferred to keep everything held in a jar at the back of her brain, but she knew one day holding it all in would come back and bite her, hard. Luna hugged her torso with her arms, "How do humans live like this? It's so cold." Like her body knew the extreme cold could cause damage it turned into her wolf form. She looked down at her paws and grinned "Much better." She didn't know why she didn't change earlier, it was like she forgot that she could. Her body felt a ton better ever since she woke up, but she still had to be careful with her stitches on her side and hind leg. She slowed down so that her pace match Courf's "The smell of Lunar flowers are faint but it's definitely coming from that way." She gestured in front of them with her nose "If I remember correctly there's a place called Jagura's City. I heard that the woman who owned it all was killed by another noble a very long time ago. I also heard that it's very hard to get into." She sniffed the air "It's going to take a few days to get there, I just hope the maiden is still there when we arrive." Luna limped along, sometimes tripping over her own paws. The snow had begun to come down on them harder, making visibility almost impossible.
Luna looked around, she couldn't see a thing, so she just kept walking straight. Luna stiffened "Do you smell that?" she recognized the smell; gun powder. She growled, nothing that involved guns was good, it always turned out bad. An image of a dead wolf flashed in her head, she shook her head before looking back up. She could see the faint glow of a fire, she was slightly afraid of what was going on. Out of habit she got loser to Courf, like a frightened pup. Her ears were pinned to her head, her eyes darting back and forth as she looked for any movement. Finally, they were by the fire, but there were no signs of humans, only quickly fading footprints that led away from the fire "Where did they go?" she asked. She felt her fur stand on end, fear had overwhelmed her. Something was wrong. She whined and lowered her head, sniffing the tracks "These are fresh, but they are quickly disappearing." She looked up, she wanted to find these people, but she had a bad feeling about it. Luna sighed then sat next to the fire, which was also quickly going out. "If this fire is still here..That means.." Luna jumped in fright when three men came into view, these were soldiers, not just any soldiers. They were a noble's soldiers. They wore black helmets, that covered their faces, with a black uniform, they had assault rifles in their hands, what were they doing out here? The three men stopped dead in their tracks "Hey!" one of them yelled as he pointed "Those are wolves!" he raised his weapon and aimed it at Luna. Luna lowered her head aggressively, her fangs bared. She wasn't in the mood.

Courfeyrac gave an exaggerated shrug. "I guess they get by on wearing different sorts of clothes. The cold's not botherin' me too much." He shrugged again, rather comfortable in his jacket, despite the fact that it wasn't necessarily made for snow. Since Luna shifted down to her wolf self, Courf followed suit. Bringing his paws high to navigate at a decent pace in the now deeper feeling snow, he kept his eyes downward. Lifting his head once Luna halted, he tilted his head and gave the cool air a brief sniff, the strong scent of gun powder making him wrinkle his muzzle. Before he could get a word in, the three soldiers came into view and his muscles tensed. Stiffening up, he flicked his tail upwards, ears standing at attention on his head. He bared his teeth in a growl as one of the soldiers quickly aimed his weapon at Luna. "Watch it!" He barked, shoving the fae out of the way with his forepaws as the human fired, the bullet safely whizzing by. "It's not worth it to fight them. We've got a schedule to keep up. C'mon!" He yipped at Luna, taking a few bounding strides away, but pausing to wait for her.

Luna yelped in surprise when she was pushed out of the man's line of sight, Luna snarled at the men, she wanted to sink her teeth into their throats but Courfeyrac was right. She quickly followed Courf, gunshots whizzing by them, she growled when one whizzed right by her ear. "Go after them!" a voice commanded, Luna looked back but couldn't see them. She let out a sigh of relief "This has been a bad morning so far." As she finished her sentence the snow let up, letting the sun shine down onto them. Luna smiled as the sun warmed her coat "Maybe today won't be so bad after all." suddenly she heard the sound of a truck behind them, she looked back and saw a black Humvee "These guys won't let up!" she growled as she darted to her left, heading towards a patch of pine trees. If they were lucky they might find an abandoned badger nest that they could hide in. She didn't look back to see if he companion was with her, but she hoped he was.

Courfeyrac shot a glare over his shoulder as he sprang into a run, leaving a spraying trail of kicked up snow behind him. His breath rolled out of his panting maw in a misty vapor as it made contact with the icey air. Slamming on the breaks, he hopped to a quick halt beside Luna, tongue lolling. Drawing his ears back, he smirked up at the parting clouds that finally allowed a rare beam of sunshine to reach them. "Ah, it's about ti-" Before Courf could finish his sentence, the roaring sound of a vehicle engine shattered the peaceful silence. "Oh crap!" He yipped, quickly wheeling around and bolting after Luna as she lead the retreat to a convenient pine forest. Once inside the safety of the numerous trees, the chestnut colored brute slowed his pace to a trot, keeping close behind Luna. "Phew. There's no way they can get in here with that thing." He murmured between breaths as he panted, gazing over his shoulder.

(It's all good. Well, Luna went to find the Flower Maiden in this huge building, only to find a noble had her first. Trying to defend the Maiden and get her back, Luna attempted to fight the noble, leaving her badly injured. The Maiden let out a loud pained cry thaf the other wolves could hear. Then the noble got away with Luna uconscious from her wounds. Courf followed the scent to find Luna passed out on the ground. Luna woke up.To get Luna's wounds treated, she led him back to Henry's house, got wounds treated, yada yada. The two left Freeze City to get the Flower Maiden back and came across a camp fire, where there were three soldiers who fired at them and ended up chasing them in a Humvee. They found shelter in a pine forest and are currently heading towards Jagura's City where they believe the Maiden was brought. -Exhale-)

Luna
Luna ducked behind a large pine, her tongue hanging out of her mouth, when was the last time she ran like that? She looked at Courf before peering around the tree, the soldiers were at the edge of the forest, they were on foot now. Luna prayed that they would just give up the search and go do something else, anything. "We should keep moving, just in case they come in here." she panted as she turned around then trotted deeper into the pines. There was something wrong with this place, she could feel it in her gut, but it seemed so peaceful. Luna looked back and saw that the Humvee was gone "Thank god." she breathed as she sniffed around. She could smell something, what was it? She didn't know but it made her mouth water. She was about to ask Courf when a deer ran by, Luna didn't hesitate to chase after it. Luna didn't know what came over her but it felt like the natural thing to do right now, she was very hungry.
Luna was on it's heels, her jaws snapping at it's hindquarters, she wouldn't let it get away. Luna pushed her body to run faster, she was right beside it now. The doe had fear in her eyes, she knew what was happening. Luna snarled then sunk her teeth into it's neck, slamming it onto the ground. The doe kicked her hooves wildly, trying to get away, but it was too late for her. Luna bit down as hard as she could, blocking the doe's oxygen flow. She only struggled for a few more seconds before going motionless, she was dead. Luna released her grip then backed away, she looked at the kill, she was a large doe, it could feed a whole pack. Luna didn't waste anymore time, she walked towards it and began to eat her fill. Once she was finished she sat down heavily "Oh my gosh, that was really good." she chuckled "I have never had anything like it." There was still a large amount of the doe left, they could always finish it later. She stood up, was that water? She could hear it and smell it. She stood up then pushed her way through thick brush, when she got to the other side her breath was taken away. It was absolutely beautiful. In front of her there was a large waterfall with beautiful clear water, there were many flowers that surrounded the small lake. To her left there was a herd of deer and in the water swam many fish "Wow.." she gasped. Did the pines protect this area from the snow? This place was untouched and it was rather warm, small rays of sunlight pushed their way through the tops of the thick pine trees. It still confused her how there was not a single spot of snow, just lush green grass.
Luna trotted towards the water, she could go for a swim. She used her human form then removed her clothes before diving in. The water was warm and soothing, she almost didn't want to surface. Luna kicked to the surface "The water feels great!" she laughed as she swam towards the waterfall. This place was too good to be true, maybe she was dreaming. She looked back to Courf and grinned "Jump in! The water is perfect!" she called before going under again. Below the surface was just as beautiful, there were many colored fish swimming around and all kinds of underwater plants that rooted themselves beside rocks. Luna paddled to the surface again, she was at the waterfall now, this place was perfect. She swam under it, letting the water shower over her, she smiled then went to the other side. There was a large cave, hidden by the waterfall, that had grass and flowers. Was this Paradise? This place. Something deep down said no but her brain told her yes. Luna smiled before exiting the cave and going to the to other side of the waterfall again. She swam to Courf "This place is a dream, it's perfect." She smiled then it slowly turned to a frown "Almost perfect.." She could never be truly happy knowing that she had betrayed Henry, she left him in his time of need. She was his life and he was her's. Luna looked up to the tops of the pine trees, if only her were here to enjoy this place with them. He would be here to take care of her like he has been doing for her whole life. She would be there to protect him, that was her duty and she failed.

Courfeyrac shot a glance over his shoulder before bounding after Luna, picking up his pace to carry him farther from the soldiers. Just as he slowed to a stop to catch his breath, the she-wolf took off again after the strong scent of deer. With a tired groan, he followed after her and caught up in time to see her single handedly bring down a rather large doe. A smirk soon crept across his maw and he wasted no time before digging in, sloppily eating his fill like he hadn't eaten in months. "Mmm- I haven't had real food like that in a while!" He exclaimed, swallowing as he lazily slumped back to his haunches. Licking some blood from his maw, he turned his attention towards the sound of rushing water. Padding close by Luna, he stopped at the water's edge to down many thirsty gulps of the clear liquid. Raising his head, he perked his ears as Luna dove in. With a chuckle, Courf quickly followed, shifting to his human form and lazily plopping into ths water without bothering to she'd his clothing. He floated on his back, taking in the warm sensation of the ways he hadn't felt since going to Freeze City. "Man this place is great!" He exclaimed sign a grin.

Luna swam around for a few more minutes before getting out and putting her clothes back on. She yawned then made her way over to where they had left the carcass, but it was gone. Luna used her wolf form to sniff around, the body was dragged deeper into to forest. She followed the scent, there was something else mixed in with it, something that smelled familiar but she couldn't remember. Luna laid her ears back, something was wrong with this place. Everything in her body told her to turn away and run away from this place but she kept going, she wanted to know what was going on. Suddenly, the scent trail stopped. She looked around "Where did it go?" she asked herself before looking up. Above her was the carcass, hanging by a rope "The hell?" she growled as she tensed up and looked around. She knew something was up with this place, this place was too perfect to be a real place.
She slowly walked forward, something was shining a few yards ahead of her. When she was close to it she saw that it was a building. If there were people inside she would need to blend in as best as she could. Once on her two feet she walked towards it, this building reminded her so much of the one in Freeze City. "I knew this place was a hoax." she growled as she walked up to one of the doors "Where is everybody?" it seemed this place was empty but it was too well kept to be. She pushed open the double doors only to be surprised from behind. Luna screamed in fright then spun around to see a uniformed man "What are you doing here?" he scowled, he had a firm grip on her upper arm. Luna didn't answer "How did you find this place!" he yelled, Luna could feel the anger and fury coursing through this man's veins. She didn't know what to say "It's dangerous out there!" He looked behind him then roughly pushed her into the building, locking the doors. "Our soldiers tracked wolves to this forest, they are out there somewhere and they are dangerous." he grabbed her arm again and dragged her through the building "Let me go!" She yelled as she tried to pull away "Now you want to talk?" Luna thrashed around for a few more minutes then giving up, she couldn't change into a wolf now, not with him around.
Luna and the man walked by two noble soldiers, their identities hidden by helmets, Luna just wanted to tear into them. Luna looked at the man, he wore glasses and a white coat, a scientist? He had light brown hair and dark brown eyes, he looked to be about 30 years old. "Why is this building here?" she asked "This place was built to attract wolves.." he simply said. Luna almost gasped "Why? Aren't they extinct." The man slammed her against the wall "They are not extinct! They are hiding, they look like us." He looked her up and down "Are you a wolf?" he asked as he got closer to her, anger burning in his eyes. Luna hesitated "..No." Damn she was terrible at lying. "You're a terrible liar." he held onto her arm and pulled her into a large blank room that only had a simple metal chair in the middle. He threw her onto the chair then bound her wrists and legs to the chair "I'll get the truth out of you! You will tell me where your friend is." He pulled out a syringe with a green liquid in it "What is that?"she growled as he brought it closer to her "Oh this? This causes excruciating pain, it will make you wish you were dead. He brought it closer to her neck "Get that away from me!" she yelled as she tried to tear her hands free from the restraints "If you tell me where your friend is then I'll let you go." Luna glared at him "Screw you." The man frowned "Oh well, I warned you." He pushed the needle into her neck then injected the liquid. As soon as it entered her body pain ripped though her, this was the worst pain she has ever felt in her entire life. She let out a blood curdling scream of agony "I'll be back later, to try again. If you don't tell me what I want to know then I will do this again." Luna clenched her teeth, she had to get out of here. Her body was still suffering as the liquid swam through her blood as she weakly tugged away at the restraints. Luna almost gave up but luckily her right arm wrist broke free. She wasted no time in undoing her other wrist and her ankles. She staggered to the steel door, there was no handle in the inside, only on the outside "Dammit." she growled as she slid down to the white floor. Her body screamed in pain but she tried so hard to keep from screaming. She would have to wait until the scientist came back.

Courfeyrac drifted carelessly on his back with a relaxed smirk, eyes closed as the water lapped at his human body. As Luna trudged out, he allowed his legs to sink down to stand in the wispy sand below the water, raising an eyebrow. "Hey! Where ya goin'?" He questioned the fae when she padded off without a word. Far too comfortable to pursue her, he simply shrugged. "Alright, suit yourself." He murmured quietly, relaxing backwards to once again float on his back. "Wonder why she keeps running off." He muttered to himself. "Eh, she'll be back later." Courf convinced himself with a relaxed smirk, closing his eyes to soak up the weak sunlight.

Luna sat there for hours. She sighed "I need to start telling Courf where I'm going." she slapped her forehead, this was all on her. Luna jumped up when she heard footsteps on the other side of the door, she ran to the chair and sat down as if she were still bound. The door slowly opened, revealing the crazed scientist "Ready to talk?" He held the syringe in his hand with the green fluid "No." she growled. He frowned again then walked towards her "Well, I'm sorry for you." He got close to her, this was her chance. She jumped up then grabbed his head between her hands and twisted as hard as she could. She heard a crack then his body went limp, she dropped him onto the floor then grabbed the syringe. She carefully left the room then closed to door, if she was quiet she could easily get out of here. She tiptoed her way towards the main entrance, she almost ran right into the two guards who were guarding the labs.
She gripped the syringe in her hands the swiftly jabbed it into the man's leg and injected the fluid. The man screamed at the top of his lungs and fell to the ground, his hands holding his left leg. The other soldier bent down next to him "What's wrong?" Luna took this as her chance to run past them and run to the double doors. She unlocked them then ran outside, the fresh air smelled so good. She ran through the forest, her hair sometimes getting caught in branches. Finally, she arrived at the waterfall "Courf!" she called, she didn't know if he heard her so she just jumped in. She swam to him then grabbed his arm "We have to go." she looked at him then swam to shore and jumped out before waiting at the water's edge. Luna waited for him then ran the way they had come from "So that's why the soldiers didn't follow us in, they knew that we would have gotten caught." she muttered to herself. She used her wolf form then run faster, she breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the white snow and felt the freezing air. "That place was a trap." she slowed to a walk, her body still hurting from the injection. "They made that place to attract wolves, I don't know why." She winced as a shooting pain surged through her chest "Let's just get to the city and find the maiden."

In his relaxed state, Courfeyrac had tuned out his surroundings- that is until he felt a sudden grasp on his arm. Flinching and scrambling to stand in surprise, he let out a sigh of relief to see it was Luna. "Holy hell! Can't a guy relax in peace!-" He exclaimed, though quickly cutting himself off when he noticed his friend seemed to be distressed. Raising an eyebrow, he leaped into his wolf form and trudged to shore, pausing to violently shake out his light brown coat then dash after Luna. "What are you talking about?" He yipped loudly, hurrying to catch up with Luna's frantic pace. "What? Dammit! I knew it was too good to be true..." He growled, glaring downwards, then back at the path before him. Letting out a heavy sigh of disappointment, he nodded. "Might as well..." Courf murmured, trotting after the she-wolf.

As they trudged through the snow it started to snow again "Of course.." she sighed. She stayed near the wolf, if they got too far away from each other they could easily lose each other. "Well it was nice while it lasted." she chuckled as they walked through the blizzard. She wondered how far away they were from the city, she knew it was at least a two days walk, if they didn't stop. Luna could still remember the pain she felt when that crazed man injected that fluid into her, what a cruel way to get someone to talk. "Those people led me there, they took the deer and dragged it to this building, they knew that one of us would follow it." She growled at herself "I was stupid enough to fall for it." She looked at him "This man grabbed me and put me in this empty room, he was trying to get me to tell him where you were." She looked forward again "He had this..stuff it was green. I had never seen anything like it." she took in a deep breath "He uses it to get people to talk, he gets them to break." She remembered the pain "It was the worst pain I have ever felt in my entire life, you couldn't even imagine it."
Luna yawned, this had been an eventful morning. She was extremely tired but she wanted to keep going, but maybe it was a good idea to stop and rest. Luna looked up and saw something in the distance, a cave. She trotted up to it and sniffed "It smells like no one has been here in a long time." she walked in and continued to sniff around, it smelled of wolves but it was very old. "We can rest here." She walked to the back of the cave and laid down, facing the wall. The cold breeze fluffed up her fur, making her look rather fluffy. She laid her had on her paws and tried to sleep, but her mind was being haunted by that man. It seemed that his face was burned into her mind, making her fearful. She could only imagine what he would have done to her if she didn't talk. Would he have killed her? Or would he keep her alive and continue to torture her? She didn't know and she didn't want to think about it.

Courfeyrac wrinkled his muzzle in a look of disgust at the events Luna told him. Stumbling a bit as the snow suddenly got deeper, he recollected his footing and shook the white powder from his head. "That's horrible." He finally responded with a low snarl, flattening his ears against his skull. "Now you know why I hate humans...." He added, making careful to pick his paws up high in order to navigate in the belly deep snow. "Well, at least you're okay." Courf said with a warm smile, glancing up at her. Squinting to see through the blowing snow, he detected what Luna had spotted. A cave! Tongue bouncing from the side of his jaws, he bounded through the snow and stumbled onto the dry, stone flooring of the cave, instantly halting to give his pelt a hard shake. Though the stone was cold, it was a relief to his numb paws. Living in the city most of his life, he hadn't experienced traveling in snow often. Padding to the dark corner of the cavern, he slipped down to his belly, lazily sprawling out with relief. "Ah. This is more like it!" He murmured with a smirk, rolling to his side. Sitting up, he raised an eyebrow at Lunaas as a question popped to mind. "How much further to Jagura's city?"

As she laid there she looked to Courf who asked a question "A few days." she stood up then padded to the mouth of the cave then sat. She watched the snow blow by, she wondered what Henry was doing, how he was holding up. She whined as thoughts came into her mind, what if he was hurt? What if he needed her protection? Luna felt guilty, she wished she never followed the smell of Lunar flowers. She should have went in the opposite direction, if she did she would still be with Henry. But if she did that they would still be hunting down wolves. She lowered her ears then stood back up and walked over to Courf then plopped down next to him. She sighed then laid her chin on her paws "Do you think that the maiden is still there?"she asked, she wanted to believe she was but she could be gone by the time they get there. She just had to hope.

The chestnut wolf stretched his jaws in a long yawn. Licking his muzzle, Courfeyrac lowered his head down to read it on his forepaws, sweeping his tail around his side for a sense of warmth. At Luna's words, he flicked an ear and lazily gazed over at her without moving his head. "She's gotta be. I mean, even if she's not there, it's not like the city will be a complete waste. It'll make a good resting point and somewhere to get our new lead on finding her. Besides, I don't see why she wouldn't be there. Seems the Nobles really want her." He murmured quietly, letting out a quiet exhale once he concluded his sentence. "I wouldn't worry too much about it. I mean, odds are, she won't be going anywhere by the time we get there. Worrying like that'll only stress you out, y'know." He raised his head to flash an encouraging smile at Luna.

She listened to his words the smiled "Yeah, I'm sure she'll still be there." She wagged her tail before sighing "I can't help but worry." she raised her head then looked outside again "It's dark out, and the snow stopped." she stood up and walked outside. The moon was bright in the sky, sending it's energy down to earth. Luna felt energized by the full moon, making her want to run forever. She looked to Courf with a large grin on her face before running around and sliding in the snow. Luna wagged her tail happily as she laid in the snow, she felt like a pup again. She barked then tackled Courf before running around again. She couldn't remember the last time she felt this good.

Courfeyrac returned the smirk and dipped his head a bit. Turning his gaze to the outside, he hopped to his feet, immediately knowing what a full moon meant. Standing in the shallow snow, he grinned upwards, soaking in the pale moon beams. "I haven't seen a full moon- in my true form before. This feels... Great!" He yipped, rearing up as he was suddenly barreled onto his side by Luna. Flopping over, he shook his head and chuckled, leaping back to his paws and bounding after the fae, tail wagging. With his tongue playfully bouncing from the side of his grinning maw, he ran circles around Luna, feeling overjoyed with his newfound energy. He suddenly locked his forelegs, forcing himself to a hard stop and spraying snow forward from the motion. Straightening up again, he threw his head back and let out a long, joyful howl, a song to the moon. He just couldn't help it! Ears laid back, he let his voice ring out to the heavens.

Luna heard Courfeyrac's howl and stopped what she was doing to howl with him. What wolf didn't howl at the full moon? She hoped that Henry could hear them, so that he would know that she was happy and still alive. She dropped her head again then trotted around, her tail held high and her ears perked. She romped around Courf then bumped into him again, she laughed then backed away. She couldn't remember the last time she played with another canine before. Se charged at him again then nipped his shoulder playfully before running off. She looked back and grinned then surged forward. She thought she could keep away from him but she slipped on a small patch of ice and slipped onto her side. She huffed then laid there, she turned her head to look at Courf, "Darn ice." she chuckled as she continued to lay on the snow.

Cutting off his moon-song, Courfeyrac brought his head back down just as Luna shoved into him again. Hopping down into a play bow, he quickly joined in on the mindless bounding, as if her were a pup again. Rearing on his hind legs to absorb Luna's playful nips, he swatted at her lightly with his forepaws like a cat then sprang after her. He was tight on her tail when she unexpectedly slid down to her side due to an ice patch. Because of his close distance, he was unable to avoid tripping over Luna's fallen body and tumbling head over heels a bit in the snow just past her until he came to a flopping, sliding halt on the ice, laughing.

Luna jumped up then laid on Courf, she laughed hysterically then used her human form. She jumped up then grabbed a handful of snow and made a snowball then threw it at the fallen wolf. She grabbed more snow and made more snowballs and continued to throw them at him, often missing by a long shot. She laughed "I have terrible aim." She slid onto her butt then laid down and attempted to make a snow angel. She stood up to look at her work then frowned "It looks awful." She had never done this before, she only saw children doing it. She crossed her arms and made a 'pouty' face. Luna calmly walked up to Courf then roughly nudged him with a large grin on her face "Tag!" she laughed as she ran away. She must have been having terrible luck because she slipped on the same patch of ice. She landed on her back pretty hard but it didn't hurt as much as she thought it would have. She laid her arms out and huffed again "Just my luck." she chuckled.

Courfeyrac flailed his limbs to try and sit up, finally succeeding only to have a snowball break over his head. Shaking it off, he lowered an eyebrow at Luna with a smirk, shifting into his human form. "Ohhh, it's on, now!" He quickly scooped up a handful of snow and straightened up. As he went to throw it, his low-traction human feet slipped out from under him on the ice, sending him flopping backwards and the snowball vertical in the air, then back down onto his chest. Sitting up, he rubbed his head and smirked when Luna 'tagged' him. Before he had to do much chasing, the ice did his job for him. Getting back to his wobbling feet, he burst into hysteric laughter at the fallen 'human,' sliding a bit, himself, and ending up on his butt atop the ice once again.

Luna laughed when she saw Courf go down "That's what you get for laughing at me."she laughed as she carefully stood up then jumped onto the snow. She ran over then slid next to him. He was the first friend, besides Henry and his family, she has ever had. "You're a good friend." she grinned as she gave him a small hug then laid on her back and looked at the star filled sky. How long would her happiness last though? Something always seemed to go wrong when she was happy. She looked at Courfeyrac and smiled, trying to hide her worry. She turned her face back to the sky and looked at the stars "Could you imagine trying to count the stars?" After a few minutes she sat up and looked towards Freeze City, the city was no longer visible, she kept wondering about Henry.

Courfeyrac embraced his off position from falling and relaxed, laying on his back as Luna crept over. He couldn't help but smirk at her words. Putting his hands behind his head, he stared up at the billions of stars that dotted the dark navy sky, almost overpowered by the strongly lit full moon."Heh, I'm pretty sure that's impossible." He answered with a laugh. His smile faded and he raised an eyebrow upon noticing Luna staring off into the distance. "You alright?" Courf asked softly, sitting up abit

Luna sighed, she wasn't going to lie to him "No." She continued to look off across the snowy landscape "I keep thinking about Henry. He was always there for me and I can't even be there for him." She pulled her knees to her chest and rested her chin on them "I was his best friend and I just abandoned him." Luna felt a tug on her heart, like it was telling her to go back to him, oh how she wanted to but she felt that finding the maiden was far more important. She looked at Courf "I'm a terrible friend.." she looked forward again "I wouldn't blame him if he ever saw me again and tried to kill me. I would let him.." She was a pathetic excuse for a wolf, no wolf would ever be so attached to a human. Luna felt a hot tear roll down her cheek, if only she could see him one last time. Luna stood up then slowly walked back to the cave then laid at the back once again. She laid on her side and pulled her knees to her chest once again. There was so much on her mind, she didn't think sleep would be an option.

Courfeyrac glanced down in sympathy. Though he couldn't relate to how she felt, he did feel sorry for her. "Hey, you did what you had to do. And it was the right decision. He'll be fine. Humans always are." He weakly attempted to reassure, though he only partially believed his own words. He turned his gaze back downward as Luna for up and returned to the cave. Deciding it was probably best to follow, he slowly trudged behind her, hands in his jacket pockets as usual. Once inside the small cavern, he slid down nearby Luna and dropped the illusion. Yawning, he curled into a tight ball, thinking it was best to remain silent for now.

Luna didn't bother to drop her illusion, she just laid there and stared at the stone wall. She knew she had to get over her lifelong friend and move on, it was better for her and the others around her. She couldn't continue to sulk and be unhappy. She sighed then closed her eyes and forced her body to sleep. When she awoke, the sun was just rising. She sat up and stretched her stiff muscles and joints. She stood up and walked outside to look over towards Freeze City once again. She sighed then undid the collar that was around her neck. She held it in her hands, this black collar is what tied her and Henry together. Getting rid of it would be the first step in breaking the emotional tie between them. She walked over to a dead tree then hung it on one of it's dead branches. She looked at it once last time, reading her name that was sewn into it. She squeezed her eyes closed to keep her tears at bay then walked away from the tree.
She went in to wake the sleeping wolf "We should get going." she nudged him with her hand before exiting the cave. Today was really cold so she dropped her illusion and made her way towards Jagura's City. "I heard the city is hard to get into." She trudged through the deep snow, her body shivered a little as the cold air nipped at her, even through her dense fur. She lagged behind Courf, her paws were freezing. They had a two days walk now, if of course, nothing went wrong. Luna walked a little faster to catch up to him "How are you holding up?' she asked.

Courfeyrac slowly shifted awake, bowing into a long stretch and a yawn before groggily padding out of the cave. Today seemed to be much colder than the day prior, and the icey air sent a shiver down the wolf' spine. Ignoring the stinging numbness that already began in his paws, Courf forced himself on, plowing through the moderately deep snow with no outer signs of struggle. He stopped and threw a glance backwards at Luna, who was lagging behind, and waited for her to catch up before trudging onward again, twitching an ear at her question. "I'm fine. You doing alright?" He was quick to ask how she was doing, remembering her emotional struggle last night. As he glanced over at the fae, he noticed her bare neck where there was once a collar."Where's your collar?" He asked out of curiosity.

Personality: Very retracted and submissive, though she can very easily warm up to others if they know how to take care of a pup. Also very agressive.
Species: Coydog/Wolf
History: After her mother being killed off, her father had taken care of her until he couldn't hunt or fend for himself or her anymore. He, Creo, took her to a pack of strays down in Freeze City, thinking they will take of her. Instead, she was constantly picked on by older pups, leading to her being extremely violent. After being fed up with the pups, she left and found a burrow in the nearby forest, living there.

The small coyote mutt peeked out from her burrow, ears perking up with a flick. She was awoken by two loud creatures, most likely wolf hunters. Though, the smell they carried reminded her of a long lost family member. "Momma?" She whimpered, poking her muzzle out of the dirty hole she lived in. With a flick of her black-tipped tail, she was gone in a jolt, bounding over the thickened snow until she noticed two figures trekking through the snow. She snorted and stepped back, only to slip her paw down an icy hole, covered by the snow. The pup shrieked before plummeting down into the black hole, smashing her hind leg up against a rock. The impact made her wince, but her natural toughness made her quiet. After dragging herself to the center of this hole, she started to yelp, paws scraping against the stone wall in a failed attempt to escape, even if it meant being found by a group of hunters.

Courfeyrac froze his pawsteps mid-conversation. Straightening up, he raised his head and rapidly sniffed the cold air, ears swiveling like a turret on his head. "Luna," he whispered. "Did you hear that?" Curiously, the chocolate chestnut wolf lowered his head and began to trace the source of the loud yelp that had quickly silenced itself. His nose to the ground, it shoved the snow aside like a snow plow, his figure almost like that of a human's hunting dog as he was determined to find the source of the clearly canine-born shriek.

At the scent of the brute, she shrieked again, flattening her ears. "Help!" She cried, snapping her teeth together and pushing her up with her hind legs. "Please, I'm stuck in here! " Niio tried to stay in contact with the canine figure, shrieking out cries for help.

Courfeyrac jerked his head up in alarm at the shouts. A pup?! His soft spot for pups triggering at the high pitched cries, he immediately bolted towards the direction of the sounds without thinking. Tracing down the scent, he froze his footsteps when he stumbled across a tiny canine trapped beneath a rock. "Hang on, kid! I won't hurt you. I'll get you out!" He yipped to reassure the frightened pup that he wasn't a threat. He shot a glance behind him, hoping Luna was close behind as he bolted without warning. Snapping his determined gaze onto the pup, he examined the situation. "I'm gonna grab onto your scruff nd shove the rock away with my paws, alright? It won't hurt a bit." He smiled, ducking his head down and placing a forepaw on the rock. Gently grasping the muddy brown pup's scruff with his teeth, he shoved against the rock until it was slightly lifted offf the canine's leg. As soon as he saw, he lightly tugged the pup out by the scruff, allowing the rock to crash back down once she was safe.

Luna sighed "Its..just gone.." She looked at the snow covered ground as they walked. She couldn't wait to get the Maiden back and find the place she longed for. Suddenly an ear piercing yelp made her head jerk up to her left "Yeah." Luna quickly followed after Courf, it sounded like a pup. Luna has only seen dog pups, never a wolf pup. Luna ran as fast she she could to the yelps only to come to a hole with a small figure inside "We are going to help you!" Luna barked as Courf bent down to lift the pup out of the hole that could have ended her life. Luna stood behind Courf so that she didn't get in the way. She yelped in fright when she heard a rock crash down, her fright was soon relieved when she saw the pup safely in Courf's jaws. "Oh! Are you okay?" Luna could tell this pup was a cross between a Coydog and a wolf. But she resembled a coyote more than anything. Luna trotted up to her and nuzzled her out of instinct "Where are your parents?" Luna was worried that this pup was alone, if that was the case she wouldn't leave her alone.
Luna felt the need to mother this pup, she felt like she was to take care of her. She didn't know why, she had never had pups of her own but she always wanted some. She licked the top of the pup's head gently then smiled "You can always stay with us." she Looked at Courf then back to the pup "My Name is Luna, and this is Courfeyrac. But you can call him Courf." Luna stood straight "We are going to Jagura's City to find someone very important to us, would you like to come?" Luna didn't see why the pup wouldn't want to come, she was out her all alone and needed some kind of help. She smiled to the pup and turned "Come on." she smiled kindly as she waited for her to follow. She stayed at the pup's side, her mother's instinct kicked into full gear, even if she wasn't her biological pup she would still protect her like she was her own.

Niio yelped as the reassuring fangs of the male cut into her scruff, pulling her up. She crashed into the snow, tail instantly taking cover between her legs. "Uhm, my parents, well, long story. Nice to meet you miss Luna, mister Courf. Thank you for saving me." She padded up to the brown canine and fastened a lick upon his nose before retracting back to the white wolf. "I knew you were wolves, you smell just like my momma. I wish I was a wolf.." She huffed, flicking a snowball away with her paw. "Oh yea, my name is Niio, if you wondered. You can call me Ni, like my momma did." Her dark hazel flicked back and forth, from the male to the female. "I would like to stay with you. It's hard living alone, since the only thing I hunt are rabbits and badgers."

Courfeyrac smiled down at the little pup, giving her a gentle nudge with his muzzle. "Well we're glad to have ya stay with us." He remarked with a friendly smirk, allowing his tail to slowly away behind him. (Eh. Short. Cause I'm in class. XD)

"I'm glad I found you guys, if not, I would be doomed by those evil hunters." She muttered a curse word and sat down in the snow, scratching her large ear. "Anyway, where are you heading, towards the Lunar flowers?" She grinned after the sentence, knowing ahead of what they're doing. "Yea, the Lunar flower scent if pretty strong. We need to go that way if we want to get near civilization." She chirped and pointed her dark nose towards the direction they're heading, only to be cut short as a van slid behind them, wheels slipping across the snow. "Run!" She yelped.

Luna
Luna let Niio go in front of her, she didn't want her to be in their line of sight. Luna looked at the van and snarled before following after Courf and Niio. Luna stopped dead in her tracks when a familiar scent came to her nose "Henry?" she barked as she spun around. She stood their, frozen, as four men stepped out of the van, one of them was Henry. The men were armed with hunting rifles and she was sure they intended to use them. Henry raised his rifle and looked down the scope "I have the white one." he said, she could sense sadness in his tone. Luna whined then spun around to follow after the others. Luna jumped to the side when a bullet whizzed by "Luna!" She could hear Henry calling after her "I'm so sorry!" he cried "Get in the van!" a strange voice ordered. Luna looked back and saw the men jumping into the van "We have to get to cover!" she yelled as she caught up with her friends. "If we get to cover we can use our human illusions." she panted, she looked back and saw the van quickly catching up.

Courfeyrac immediately snatched Niio up by the scruff to prevent her from falling behind in the mad dash away from the vehicle. His ear flicked backwards as a bullet whizzed by, and he stumbled to a halt and spun around to ensure Luna was following. "Luna! C'mon!" He barked through his mouthful of the coyote hybrid's scruff, wheeling around and breaking into a hasty run again, nodding at Luna as she caught up and spoke.

Luna yelped and almost tripped when a bullet sliced through her hind leg, but did not penetrate. She looked back and saw one of the men leaning out of the passenger window "Great! Now I'm going to have a bald spot." she growled as she surged forward. She was at Courf's side, she looked down at Niio, who was in his jaws, "Everything is going to be fine." she reassured her as she frantically looked around "There!" she barked. Just a few yards ahead of them was a large hill, but it had small caves all over it, making it a maze on the inside. Luna slowed down the let Courf take Niio then followed after them. "We are going to have to burn them out!" Luna snarled "Let's hurry and get to the other side, we might be able to make it." Luna followed them through the maze until she saw a hole "Hurry!" she barked as she nudged him. When they stepped out two of the men were waiting "Go!"she snarled as she lunged at a man with red hair, her teeth sinking into his right arm. She saw the blonde haired man aiming his rifle then jumped back "Get her away from here! Make sure she is safe!" she barked to Courf while dodging an oncoming attack. She looked at Courfeyrac "Go!" She snarled.
Luna lunged at the red hared man again, this time going for his throat "No! You dumb animal!" the blonde man screamed as he shot a bullet at her. This man must have lousy aim, luckily she didn't get hit and was able to back away from the man's body. "Luna!" Luna jerked her head around and saw Henry aiming his rifle at her, Luna lowered her ears and slightly wagged her tail. She slowly walked towards him with her head down "Luna, don't do that, don't do this to me." she saw a tear roll down his cheek. Luna let out a long whine then sat down in front of him and looked up at him "I'm sorry, Luna." Luna perked her ears then jumped to the side, his bullet grazing her side. Luna growled then grabbed his rifle between her jaws and ripped it from his hands before throwing it to the side. She spun around then grabbed the blonde haired man's throat, she dropped his body then raced after Courf and Niio. Luna could smell their scent which made her run faster. She was sure she was close until a shot rung out through the air. Luna slammed into the ground, a bullet had driven itself through her body. She yelped in pain and tried to get up but fell back to the ground. Luna heard rapid footsteps but couldn't see who it was "Luna, I'm so sorry." Henry cried as he lifted her up and hugged her. Luna yelped as her body was lifted, she changed into her human form and faced him "You did what you had to.." Luna forced her body to sit up and examine the wound, it went clean through her right side, below her rib cage, she didn't taste any blood in her mouth so that means it didn't cause any internal bleeding, she hoped. Henry pulled out his sidearm and placed the barrel on her forehead "If any one is going to kill you, it's me." Luna glared at him, she wasn't willing to die, not like this. Not anymore. She grabbed the gun from his hands,sending a bullet into the air "I'm sorry." she said before butting him in the back of the head. She staggered to her feet, throwing the gun on the ground, and went to find Courfeyrac and Niio.

Courfeyrac nodded and shot for the cavern. He skidded to a stop and glanced back at Luna, reluctantly nodding and darting onward without her, Niio bouncing in his jaws. He flattened his ears as the gunshots and screams rang through the cave, echoing into his ear drums. Growling, he fought the urge to simply wheel around and help his friend, instead picking up the pace until he found a safe hidden chamber of the cavern. Once inside, he gently set down the coyote mix and raised his head panting. He kept his deeply concerned gaze on the chamber entrance, desperately hoping the last sound of rifle fire wasn't the one that ended Luna's life.

Luna walked back to the hill that held the maze within, "Hello? You can both come out now." Luna called, she hoped they had heard her. Suddenly a man knocked her down and held her down "You killed my friends! I saw you! How are you human?!" he screamed as he grabbed his rifle and aimed it at her. Luna forgot about this man, he must have been on the other side of the hill when she took down the others. He fired the rifle but she grabbed it and aimed it up, making the bullet fly elsewhere. "Get off of me!" she yelled as she tried to push him away, her body was screaming at her, telling her to stop. She didn't know how much she could take, she looked to her right and saw a rock. She was about to reach for it when the man's large hands wrapped themselves around her throat "You're going to die for what you did!" Luna struggled for air while trying to reach the rock. Finally, her fingers pulled the rock closer then she grasped it in her hand and slammed it against the man's head. She flipped onto her hands and knees and began to cough, she looked over to the man and saw he was unconscious. Luna stumbled to her feet then peered into the hole "Now it's safe." she coughed as she dropped to her knees. She needed to take a break before moving on.

Niio felt Courf snatch her up by her scruff, instantly yelping and bouncing up and down as the male carried her away. She closed her eyes, only to open them when the sound of rifles silenced in the distance. "Courf, what's happening?" She winced and pressed into his side, only to follow him out of the little cavern. She sticked by him, shifting into her human form. The small coyote mix stood as a small child, her long hazel hair draping over her shoulders. Her brown eyes were clouded for a brief moment. The girl leapt after Luna, embracing her in her tiny arms. She didn't say anything, but kept her hands around Luna's neck.

Courfeyrac slid into his illusion and shot a glance at Niio. "I don't know." He murmured, shifting his gaze back to the cavern entrance. Upon hearing Luna's voice, he quickly followed the small child out of the chamber, letting out a sigh of relief. "You're alive!" He exclaimed with a grin, raising an eyebrow at the unconscious human not far from them. "Uhhh, maybe we should get outta here." Courf chuckled with a smirk, stuffing his hands into his jacket pockets.

The child looked up at Courfeyrac with wide eyes, quickly jumping over to him and grasping his arm, twirling around to press her side to his. "I don't really know where we are. I usually know, but there's a fog coming in and It'll be hard to spot anything. Unless it's Freeze City."

Luna hugged Niio "Glad you're safe." she smiled "It will take more than a couple of hunters to take me down." she chuckled. Luna nodded then forced her body up "Yeah, we should." She grabbed her side then began to walk towards their destination. Luna looked at the unconscious Henry as they passed him, she saw her black collar hanging out of his coat. She quickly looked away and kept walking. "You two are okay, right?" she looked at them, she didn't see any wounds but she wanted to be sure. Luna suddenly looked ahead, were those buildings? She didn't remember any towns between Freeze City and Jagura's City. As they got closer she saw that it looked abandoned. "Stay close." she said to Niio as they entered to old city, in her travels these places usually held thieves and who knows what.

Niio shook her head at Luna's question as they kept walking. She too noticed the buildings in the distance. Shifting into her real form, the coyote hybrid bounded across the snow to get a better look. "It's abandoned, I can smell the reek of garbage from here. Maybe we can settle in one of the buildings for some time." She looked over to Luna with pleading eyes. Her legs were killing her, and she didn't want to stay in some cold hole. "There's a good chance of there being furniture in the houses." She chirped, walking beside Courf.
{She's a daddies girl. Her mom died when she was old enough to remember her, so she lived with her dad. She'd be more connected to Courf than anyone else. x3}

Luna looked at Niio "Okay, but only for a little while." She grabbed her injured side, she could feel the blood slowly seeping through her fingers. She walked ahead to make sire the coast was clear before waving Courf and Niio over. Luna walked past some old buildings, many smelled of mildew and garbage. Finally, she came to a house that looked pretty well taken care of "We can go in here." she said as she twisted to doorknob and entered the house. The house was small, but large enough for the three of them. There was a couch and there were two bedrooms. One room had a queen bed while the other was a twin. Luna left the bedroom with the large bed and sat on the couch. She winced as she lifted her shirt to examine the wound, it looked terrible. Luna growled then rolled her shirt back down "If Henry ever shoots at me again he better have better aim." she scowled.

The pup chirped a "hurray" and pelted after Luna, quickly shifting into her illusion and leaping onto a comfy bed. "You better keep pressure on that wound. I'll check if there's any medicine in here." She proceded to walk around the house, digging around the bathroom until she found a bottle of alcohol and some pills. Carefully dipping a towel into the liquid, she pressed it against Luna's wound and gave her some pills to soothe her pain.

Luna waited for Niio to come back with the supplies, her head resting on the backrest of the couch. she lifted her head when Niio placed to towel on the wound, she gritted her teeth as a stining pain ripped though her. She nodded when Niio gave her some pain killers "Here, let me do this. You should go get some sleep." she smiled as she gently took the towel. She rubbed the top of Niio's head then put both of her hands on the towel. She looked at Courf "What a day." she laughed "One of the most eventful." Luna cleaned up the area around the wound, "Much better." she said to herself as she put her shirt over it. Luna sighed then looked at her hands, her blood stained them temporarily. Luna got to her feet the stood by the front window, keeping an eye out for anything that might not be friendly.

"Yea, I guess I should, but, I want to be a real good girl and help you out! I'll go get some food!" Without even stopping to say goodbye, she shifted into her coyote self and bounded through the door, dissapearing beneath the dense foliage that grew just outside.

Courfeyrac shifted to his wolf form and bounded through the snow after them towards the seemingly abandoned city. Sliding up into his illusion, he plopped down on the old bed, on the other side of Luna, flopping onto his back with a huff. "Man I could get used to this place." He murmured with a smirk. As Niio mentioned searching for food, he sat up. "Hey! I don't think you should be goin' out there alone, kid." He called

Soon, the small pup came up to the older wolves, her mouth stuffed with pidgeons. "Couldn't hear you, sorry. There's nothing alive out there." Niio flicked her tail at the door before putting the bundle of pidgeons aside as she plopped onto the bed in her illusion.

Luna tried to keep Niio from going on her own but fell onto her knee. She sighed then got up and looked out the window to keep an eye on the pup. She watched her gather pigeons and come back. Niio dropped the bundle then went to one of the rooms. Luna didn't want to eat, not after that incident, she just didn't have much of an appetite. She walked into the smaller room then sat down next to Niio "Hey, don't go off like that again, okay?" Luna patted her leg "It's too dangerous to go out there by yourself." Luna smiled before putting on a more serious expression "Can I ask why you were alone when we found you?" Luna didn't know what to expect from her. Luna looked down at the floor "I'll tell you something about me." she flicked her brown eyes to the small girl, awaiting a response.

Courfeyrac shrugged and flopped back onto his backside, putting his hands behind his head to relax. As soon as Niio returned with the pigeons, the mention of food made him immediately shoot up. "Food!" He exclaimed, quickly scrambling over to where the bundle of prey was set down. Sitting criss-crossed in front of it, he wasted no time before snatching one of the birds and biting into it with glee. "Ahh, I haven't eaten in forever!" He murmured with a smirk through his mouthful of meat.

Watching as Luna moved closer, she flinched at her question, pulling her hands around herself. "Well, my momma died when I was barely old to remember, so my daddy took care of me. But, he soon grew tired of feeding himself and me so he figured it would be better for me to stay with some strays. Anyway. I was bullied and teased in this "new family" my daddy called. He made me who I am. But I still love him." Her brows furrowed into a frown before she pulled of a large smile at her friend.

"Wow-" Courfeyrac murmured through a mouthful of meat. "Tough break, kid." He took another huge bite of the food, leaning back a bit on his free hand as he sat listening to the two. (Hnnng. The shortness.)

Niio looked up at Courf, squinting her eyes just slightly as she nodded, leaning back and plopping down on her back. "Meh, I don't even care anymore." She huffed, closing her eyes.

Luna frowned "Sorry about your mom." She sighed "I lived with humans my whole life, I didn't know either of my parents. Is sometimes get flashes of them.. But Henry and his son were my family, he was like a father to me and his son was like my little brother." She decided to leave the wolf hunter part out of it "I didn't even know I was a wolf, I thought I was just a dog." She took in a deep breath, she wasn't good at telling other people things like this. She rubbed Niio's head then stood up and left the room, she walked through the living room and went out to the front porch. She sat on the old wooden steps and put her face in her hands. She couldn't leave Henry out in the cold, what if he died? She couldn't live with herself if she knew she was the one that killed him, especially like that. She got up and walked inside to grabbed her hoodie "I'll be back, if I'm not back in about two hours just keep going." She looked at Courf then jogged outside and down the steps. "He wouldn't leave me to die out there." she growled to herself as she ran down the deserted street.

Courfeyrac silently chewed large mouthfuls of the bird(OM NOM NOM), leaning back on his hand as he listened intently to the other two. His eyes strayed downward to the wooden floor beneath him once Luna had finished talking. Turning his upper body to glance at her as she left, he simply shrugged and took another bite of his food. But upon her return, only to grab her hoodie, he quickly scrambled to his two feet. "Woah- wait-" He paused to swallow. "Where are you going?!" He asked, gesturing for Niio to follow before hurrying after her. "You can't just leave again!" He exclaimed, putting himself in front of her to block her path. He wasn't about to let her wander off alone, especially without answers first.

Luna skidded to a stop "He wouldn't leave me out there!" she pointed to the barren snowy wasteland. Luna felt her eyes tearing up "No matter how hard I try I can't just forget about him." she wiped the tears from her cheeks "He was always there for me, I need to be there for him." She took in a deep breath "I want to make sure he doesn't freeze to death out there, I can't let that happen to him. If he ever does die I want to be there with him." Her face was freezing because of her tears. "Could you let someone you care about just die out there alone? Could you leave them out there, knowing that they could die?" She looked down at Niio, she knew she must be confused, she didn't know about Henry. She looked at Courf "I just need to make sure he at least gets to the van and get out of this cold." She wrapped her arms around her torso, it was freezing out here.

Courfeyrac lowered his eyebrows and grabbed her arm as she moved to walk past. "You'll get yourself killed out there! Is dying really worth it over some human?" He questioned, turning his body to face her more. "You can't just leave us again." He added, furrowing his eyebrows in a glare.

Luna tried to walk past but he grabbed her arm "He's my only family I have.." She gently pushed his hand away "Why would I even be allowed into Paradise? I served a human my whole life. Paradise is for wolves, I'm no wolf.." Luna looked at the ground "You just take Niio and go on ahead. If I'm meant to go with you guys then I'll find you again." Luna started to walk then broke into a run. She skidded around around the corner and left the small city to go find Henry. Luna didn't bother to change into her wolf form, she was to set on getting to Henry. Luna saw the group of men sprawled out over the snow. She ran to Henry then flipped him onto his back "Henry! Wake up!" She shook him, trying to get him to wake up.
His eyes slowly opened, Luna smiled then helped him up and carried him to the van. She put him in the driver's seat and went to get the keys off on of the bodies then placed it in his lap. She closed the door then made her way back to Courf and Niio, if they were still there. Suddenly, a roaring sound went overhead "A noble's aircraft." she growled as she ducked into the snow. The airship lowered itself to the ground near the bodies "Lunar flowers."she gasped as the smell wafted around her "She's there!" she said to herself. Luna could barely keep herself hidden as the ship opened up, she growled when she saw who came out. The noble who had taken the maiden walked over to the van "Now's my chance."she used her wolf form to sneak into the ship. There she was, the maiden, she was in a cage with a bucket of water at her feet. Luna ran over and wagged her tail "I knew you would come for me." the maiden said kindly as she stood up and wrapped her fingers around the bars. Luna used her illusion to undo the latch and grab the maiden "Come on!" she grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the air ship and out into the cold landscape. A large grin spread across Luna's face, she did it. She finally got the maiden back and they would be able to get to Paradise.
Luna's joy was short lived when a bullet whizzed by, she looked back and saw noble soldiers chasing them. Luna picked up the maiden, bridal style, and kept running. The maiden had a look of fear on her face "We'll be okay." Luna was unsure if she was correct but she would make sure that the maiden would safely get to Courfeyrac. "Stop, Wolf!" A deep familiar voice commanded. Luna ignored him and just kept running, the small town was coming into view. Luna could hear the noble yelling orders behind her when she finally reached the town. She held onto the maiden as she ran down the street that led to the house that they had taken shelter in. "Courf! Niio! You gotta go!" She handed the maiden over to Courf "Aren't you coming with us?" the maiden asked "I will, but I have to keep them away from you guys." Luna showed her an uncertain smile "Take care for them." she said to Courf "I'll keep them distracted long enough for you all to get far away from here. Then I'll come find you." Luna was uncertain if she would be able to come back to them, she was still injured and wasn't as agile. But she would try.

Courfeyrac frowned but let Luna dash off. There was little he could do to stop her anyway. With a sigh, he turned and entered the room again, plopping into his back on the bed. "When will she ever learn." He murmured under his breath, sliding his hands beneath his head. Suddenly Luna burst into the room not too long after. "Huh?" Courf sat upright in a hurry, his eyes bulging at what he saw. "The Maiden?!" He exclaimed in bewilderment as she was suddenly handed to him. "But-Uh- what the hell's going on!?" He stammered, quickly getting to his feet.

Luna smiled weakly "I'll be fine. I'll come for you guys." She gave them all a hug then backed out of the house and charged down the street. Her wolf body still ached from the fresh wound in her side but she was able to ignore it. She saw a soldier jogging around the corner, his rifle in his hands. Luna snarled then grabbed his rifle from him before sinking her canines into his throat. She used her human form to pick up the rifle "There's always a first for everything." she muttered to herself as she raised the weapon and aimed at the oncoming soldiers. She open fired at two of them, sending them to the ground, she fired at another two before her weapon began to click "Dammit."she growled as she threw it to the ground. "I know you are there, Wolf." Luna snarled as she heard the noble's voice, it made her skin crawl. "If you give me back what is mine I will let you and your friends live." Luna could sense his power, it made her frightened. She looked back at the house then back to the oncoming troops "There's too many." she growled as she ducked behind an old bar. The bar smelled of old alcohol and dust, she crinkled her nose and watched as the group walked by "Check all the buildings!" Luna growled then trotted behind them. She snapped her jaws then jumped on to the back of an suspecting soldier "Get it off of me!" he yelled as he fired bullets into his comrades. Luna smirked then bite down harder, ending his life. She backed away and saw that he had taken out his own soldiers from his panic shooting, only the noble remained. He stared her down, his eyes burning into hers "Bring him!" he called behind her "What?" She asked as she looked back.
Luna's eyes widened at the sight, two soldiers were carrying Henry "No!" she barked as she tried to go to him "Take one more step and we kill him." one of the soldiers said as he raised a gun to Henry's head. Luna spun around "Let him go!" she snapped as she used her illusion "Give me back the maiden and we will let him go." Luna clenched her fists, she wouldn't give him the maiden, ever. She heard a pained scream behind her "Henry!" She yelled as one of the men stabbed a knife into his upper thigh. Luna felt her body fill with rage "I'll kill you!" she screamed as she charged at the noble. She tried to latch into his throat with her fangs but she was caught by the scruff "Dumb animal." He slammed her against an old beam, making a yelp echo into the air. She tried to stand but fell down again "Kill him." he commanded. Luna's eyes shot open, then a gun shot echoed into the evening air. Luna looked over and saw Henry's body fall to the ground "No!" she howled as she jumped up and limped over to his lifeless body. The noble shooed the soldiers away "I can handle this one." he smirked as she stood a few feet away from her "This is on you, all you had to do was tell me where she is. It's your fault your human is dead." Luna held Henry in her arms, his blood soaking the snow "I'm sorry."she cried "I'll give you one last chance. Where is she?" he asked as he held a gun to her head.

Courfeyrac let out a huff and gestured with his head for Niio to follow. As he was about to slip out of the building, the Maiden in his arms, the echoing fire of bullets made him freeze. Whipping around, he scowled in the direction of the sound, quickly determining Luna was in danger after a familiar sounding yelp pierced the air. "Niio, stay here with the Maiden, okay? Go find someplace to hide. I've gotta help Luna before she gets herself killed." He said quickly, gently setting the Maiden down beside the child and snapping his attention back down the hall. Without another moment's hesitation, he lunged out of his illusion and quickly traced the sound, knowing Niio would be fine. As he sprinted along, a few figures came into view ahead- human figures- and one of them with a rifle to Luna's head. Scrunching his muzzle in a growl, he lunged at the man, tackling him to the ground and immediately locking his jaws around his throat. In the suddenness of the attack, the man fired a few bullets upwards as he was barreled over. Standing atop the now lifeless human with his jaws still firmly clenched around his bleeding throat, Courf glanced over at Luna and gestured her to get to safety.

Everything happened in a flash. Niio leapt after Courf in her canine form, gently nudging the Maiden with a nod at the male. "Come on now, follow me!" She chirped, flicking her black-tipped tail before shifting back into her illusion. The child grasped the Maiden by her waist and slowly walked her behind a small house with a basement-like hiding place at the back of it. The mahogany-haired girl seated the Maiden in the small basement. She took her red blanket and put it over the female in an attempt to get her warm. "It's okay, the others will be here soon." She muttered, her hazel eyes glinting with despair and fear.

Luna growled at the noble, she clenched her fists, making the palm of her hands bleed. Suddenly, the gun was pointed away as her friend took down one of the soldiers "We'll meet again." he scowled as he darted back to his ship. Luna watched him leave then looked at Courf before looking down at Henry. Her wolf form laid next to him, her head on his chest, she let a small whine escape her maw. "I'm sorry, Henry." She whined as she licked his chin. She slowly got to her paws then walked back towards the house. Her head hung low as they made their way back to Niio "Thanks," she said quietly as the went up the porch steps,"for helping me.." she finished when they entered the house. Luna sniffed around, the smell of the maiden was strong but she was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly, the maiden gracefully walked around the corner "I could sense that you were back." she said as she walked over. The maiden had long silver hair and green eyes, Luna looked up at her "This one is sorry about your friend." Luna wondered how she could possibly know about Henry "I can sense your sorrow." Luna looked at the ground then back to the maiden "Come here." she said calmly. Luna walked over and sat in front of her, the maiden began to rub her gentle hands over the wolf's body "There is nothing I can do to fill the void in your heart, I'm sorry." Luna watched a tear roll down her cheek, was she said because she herself was sad? Luna licked her hand and slightly wagged her tail "You are trying so hard to be happy, but it is hard for you." Luna didn't say a word, she just laid her head on the maiden's knee. "We must rest." the maiden said with a small smile, then she began to sing. The song was peaceful, it made Luna sleepy. "I'll just..sleep here.." Luna yawned before falling to the ground at the maiden's feet.

Courfeyrac let the man's head drop limply to the floor and raised his head. Shifting to his human form, he gave Luna's shoulder a nudge as she lay near her human. "C'mon," he encouraged gruffly, hopping down into his wolf self and loping off. Slowing to a halt beside Niio, he ran his tongue over his nose and sat down on his haunches, nodding at Luna. Though he couldn't understand the bond she and that human had, he couldn't help but feel sorry for her. "I'm sorry, Luna." He whined slightly, drawing his ears back against his head. Deciding to keep silent now, he shot a glance at the coyote mix beside him and slid down to his belly, resting his head between his forepaws.

Luna
When she awoke the sun was making it's way higher into the sky, sending bright warm rays down over the small town. She got to her paws and stretched, she looked at her friends and the maiden before exiting the house and trotting down the street. She took in a deep breath when she arrived at his body, her ears were twitching as she looked at him. She grabbed the collar of his coat and dragged him out of the town and pulled him to an open area. She gently lowered his head to the ground before digging her front paws into the snow then into the dirt. Two hours later a large hole was formed. She stared at it for a moment, she would have never thought she would be digging her best friend's grave. She jumped in the jumped up to grab his coat again and pulled him into the hole. She sat there for a moment, looking over his form, then her eyes stopped at something. Her black leather collar was in his coat, she whined then grabbed it between her jaws before putting outside of the hole.
Luna jumped out then put all the dirt back into the hole, covering him. Once she was done she stood around the grave, then she raised her head and let out a long sorrowful howl. She dropped her head then grabbed the collar and walked back to the town. Luna used her human self to put the collar around her neck then she went back into her original form to move a little faster. She jumped over the steps and sat on the porch, waiting for the others to awaken. Luna jumped in surprise when a cold hand rubbed her neck "This one saw you leave, I was worried for you but I know what you went to do." Luna looked at the maiden, "I had to, I couldn't just leave him out in the snow.." The maiden smiled then sat next to Luna "You are a good friend, even to humans."she hugged Luna, her fragile frame was so small compared to the large white wolf.

By the time Luna had returned, Courfeyrac had been long unconscious. He slept in his human form, something he'd grown used to from living in the city for so long. Laying on his stomach atop the bed, his arm dangled off the side and a bit of drool pooled on the mattress below his face. Snoring lightly, he had no trouble sleeping through the two talking, always having been a rather heavy sleeper. [Short.]

Luna
Luna watched the maiden go back inside "We should get going." she said to herself before pulling the door open then stepped into the house. She giggled when she saw how Courf was sleeping, she jumped onto the bed "Boo!" she yelled as she quickly jumped off the bed. She left the room then went to wake up Niio "Time to go." she said calmly before lightly shaking the young pup's shoulder. She left the room then waited in the living room for her companions to wake up.
I can't think of a name for the noble or the maiden. Also, I was thinking that the noble could be related to Darcia somehow.)

"Gah!" Courfeyrac scrambled awake in surprise, toppling over the edge of the bed. "...Was that necessary..." He mumbled, rolling over and grasping his head. Shrugging, he heaved himself to his feet and stretched his human limbs. "I'm comin', I'm comin'." He muttered through a yawn, trudging out of the room to meet Luna and finally depart. He raised an eyebrow upon noticing the collar that was once again wrapped around her neck. "Hey- I thought you got rid 'a that thing." He observed aloud, tipping his head to the side a bit.
