Title: Presets Make My Brain Mad.

Okai, so I downloaded an awesome preset and installed it like I always do. It worked and looked great except for the wings. They were the wings of a different preset I had. To fix the problem, I simply deleted the preset that had those wings. Now, I checked out the wings again and they looked fine. I exported it into my game, then went to make my charra. But, when I put wings on it...WHITE. But, when I go back to the preset maker and click on Preset 12 (NOT the one I already exported) the wings look fine....Help? Some screenies might help...


I'm in the Preset Maker. And this is 'Preset 12' with the wings.

Try deleting the preset .fhp in Feralheart>presets (not my_presets) that you have there then re-exporting.

If that doesn't work then did you check to see if this just a character creation glitch and not in-game itself?

Sorry if I'm not much help, my brain isn't working too well I guess. >_< My main suggestion is the one on the top I made though...

Well, I tried what you said(the top one XP) and it didn't seem to fix my problem. Maybe I should re-download the preset entirely? I'm not sure. Maybe it is the character creation. Thanks anyways Hugrf. :)

Strange. Maybe it's like the mane glitch.
Try clicking Angel Wings and then back to Bat Wings. Or take them off entirely and then re-equip?
If you haven't already, that is.
Then, it might be a glitch with your exporter, to which I'd suggest moving the preset to a different number, renaming the files to that number, then open the material in notepad and press Ctrl + H, then have it replace _12 with _9(or whatever other number you choose).
If still, it does not work, then you may consider reinstalling FeralHeart.

I would love to try this, Ruby. However, I have always had a problem with opening material files with notepad. There simply is no option to open it that way.
