Welcome to Lexington Estates: a horse ranch in the heart of Kentucky that specializes in the raising and training of the finest race and eventing horses in the country. Through rigorous training programs and high quality stables and pastures, Lexington Estates has a proud history of producing top class winners in each class.
There are many events we focus on here: Flat Racing, Show Jumping, Dressage, Cross Country, and Three-Day-Eventing.

You are a horse born and bred here at Lexington Estates. Born to compete, you are specifically trained in an area of eventing. You strive and are pushed to be the best in your area. Whether or not you have the competitive spirit, you are strictly trained to win. Though some horses here let it go to their head, some remain humble, and some even rebellious and hard to rein in. Either way, you end up shooting for the top, to win that prestigious prize whether it be the fabled Triple Crown or the Gold Medal in an Olympic Show Jumping or Dressage event.

?Flat Racing?
Also known as simply horse racing. The only horses qualified to participate in this rigorous sport are Thoroughbreds. Built for speed and endurance, the racetrack is second nature to these horses, and they are the most hard worked. This is one of the most popular sport, and at its top is the Kentucky Derby. The age limits for participants are from 2-5 or 6 years of age.

?Show Jumping?
Qualified breeds for participation are quite numerous. Nearly any breed is able to participate, though the breeds most suited for it are Arabian, Hanoverian, Trakehner, Dutch Warmblood, etc. Age groups also vary. Style consists of training to clear high jumps, including oxers and water jumps. The competition itself is made up of completing a series of jumps at a canter, best time with least amount of faults wins.

?Cross Country?
Cross country is a huge test of endurance. Horses involved in this will spend most of their time building stamina. The sport consists of long distance running, along with clearing the many jump obstacles that are set up along the way. Breeds qualified for this are numerous.

?Dressage?
Considered the most noble of the horse sports, dressage is a sort of strictly disciplined dance where horse and rider are at full sync. The biggest factor here is discipline training. These horses must be precise with every move and action, along with grace. Breeds qualified are numerous as well, though a good tempered, easily trainable breed would be necessary.
?Three Day Eventing?
Three Day Eventing is basically Show Jumping, Cross Country, and Dressage all rolled into one. A single team of one horse and one rider will participate in all of the stated activities stretched out over a course of three days, one competition each day.

Personality: Cocky, proud, immature, strong-willed, flirty, and a bit of a show-off. Sham's proud of his racing heritage and takes his job very seriously, which is more than you can say for anything else. In his spare time, he is often lazing about, or romping through the pasture like a foal.
Description: Chestnut colt with a white blaze and three white stockings

Description: A black colt with slight feathers near his hooves. He is 15 hands high. He has a flowing black mane and tail.
Equipment/Tack: A black rug and saddle, a bridle with small onyxes on the sides, and black stirrups.
Owner/ Jockey: Owner is Peter Hilton. Jockey is his younger brother, Tucker Hilton. Peter is 23 and Tucker is 20.

Inferno
The sleek thoroughbred stood lightly dozing in his box stall. It was early morning, and the sun had not yet began to peek over the horizon. Head bowed neatly, Sham slept calmly, until the sound of his stall door sliding open made him groggily lift his head. His rider and owner, Thomas, had slipped into the stall with a light racing saddle in one arm and the workout bridle draped over the other. The colt instantly let out a friendly nicker and moved over to his human partner to give his shoulder a quick shove with his muzzle. Thomas cooed a few cool words as he casually tacked up the chestnut. "Alright, Sham, 'ol boy. Ready for your morning workout?" The human chuckled, patting the enthusiastic colt on the neck. Sham obediently followed his friend as he led him by the reins to the not far off training race track, where their trainer(who shall remain unamed until I can think of something o3o) was waiting, leaned against the rail. Inferno raised his head, perking his ears as he watched another racer thunder by them on the track. "Pff. That guy's not so fast." The colt muttered under his breath while the humans exchanged a few words. Thomas swung himself up into the small saddle and took the reins in his hands. "Just breeze him to get him warmed up." The trainer said, leaning on Sham's shoulder. Thomas nodded before nudging the colt forward and onto the dirt track. By then, the sun had barely begun to rise over the horizon, setting an early morning mist upon the racetrack.

Dark had her head lowered as her partner stepped in her stall. She let out a friendly nicker as Misty patted her on the side. She tossed her head as Misty stepped out then came back in with an english saddle and dressage bridle. Misty tossed the saddle pad on her back following the saddle and then on went the bridle. Misty grabbed Dark's reins and led her out of the stable. She then led her to a small arena which she knew as the dressage training arena. Misty mounted Dark and rode her into the arena. The morning sun began to rise as the trotted around the arena.

Thunder was drinking his water when Peter entered his stall. Thunder nuzzled him. Peter wasn't his jockey, his younger brother Tucker was. But Peter was his owner, and usually cared for him, rarely anyone else. Peter pat Thunder's large shoulder while taking off a brush and brushing his onyx-black coat. He stroked each side about twenty times, before getting out the hoof pick and lightly removing any dirt and straw from his feathery hooves. Tucker entered the stall. He said something to Peter and nodded. Thunder tossed his head, and Peter left. Tucker brushed him a little more, then refilled his oats. Thunder nickered a thanks and ate.
The oats were half-gone by the time Tucker returned with a black saddle with stirrups and bridle. He cooed Thunder while applying them. Thunder knew they were about to train, so he took some sips of water and Tucker led him out of the stall. He walked down the hall, silver horseshoes click-clacking against the hard wood floor.
Eventually they arrived at the Show-Jumping practice arena. Seven different hurdles were set up, all at different heights. Thunder entered the arena. He wasn't Thunder. He was Prehistory.
Prehistory dashed towards the hurdle, Tucker light on his back, steering him and motioning for him to jump. He leapt the hurdle, easily clearing it. He made the next hurdle, and cleaing the one as well. After a while, he made it towards the last-and hardest- hurdle. He dashed towards it. Tucker motioned for him to jump, and they leapt into the air. Prehistory didn't know wheather he cleared it. His feathered hooves touched the ground. He made it.

Inferno
Inferno craned his ears forward, peering down the backstretch of the track as Thomas walked him along the inside rail. Nostrils quivering, he tossed his head with an energetic whinny of anticipation. His jockey chuckled and stroked his neck, obviously getting the message. With a quick kick to his sides, the chestnut thoroughbred broke into a canter, neck neatly arched. Sham jerked his head up, tugging at the reins in impatience. After cantering half of the backstretch, he finally felt Thomas lean foreward more in the saddle in the tell-tale posture of a racing jockey. He quickly understood the command that would follow, and without Thomas even needing to tell him to, lunged off his hind legs into a gallop. His cream colored hind hooves kicked up sprays of dirt as he swept down the remainder of the backstretch and into the clubhouse turn. Though somewhat content with being able to stretch his legs at last, Thomas still held the reins tight, keeping his head reined in to prevent him from reaching his full potential just yet. Snorting with every stride, Inferno huffed out a frustrated nicker of impatience as they turned into the homestretch at last. Finally, Thomas loosened the reins and gave the ornery colt his head. Narrowing his eyes with a smirk of satisfaction, Inferno extended his strides into his full stretched gallop, now able to. Hooves pounding the dirt, he flew past the wire in a blur of fiery chestnut.

Rumour
Finishing the piaffe, her bay neck craned over as Scarlette gripped the reins and pulled her head closer to her chest. Nibbling on the hard metallic thing latched around her mouth, "Darkened Candles" pivoted off her hind legs and slowly cantered around the sand filled arena, her glistening hooves gently kicking up sand as she passed the first corner. Rumour positioned her legs into a square, squinting at the bright light as it seeped through the opened window. Just when she was about to get cantering again, a yawn made her ears prickle back. "That's everything for now, Ru-Ru." The blonde girl hoped down her blue-rimmed saddle, hand patting the thicker skin on her neck. Gripping her bridle, Scarlette lead the dark bay equine through the arena and into the stables where she entered her very own stall.

Personality: Tia is a intelligent and calm mare who loves to do her job and practice, although she is a stubborn mare she's eagre to please. She's an affectionate horse who loves to be around others weather that be humans, horses or any other farm animals; but she does like her alone time. Being an active horse she loves to be on the move and even when she's in the pasture you'll see her prancing around. This bay mare is very loyal to her friends and family.
Description: A bay mare with a black mane and tail, she has black stockings and a black muzzle. Her eyes are a brown color with the slight tilt of green making them look very attractive. She stands about 16.2 hh making her excel in cross country. Her frame is muscular and she is well build, a very sturdy horse with a lot of back bone.
Equipment/Tack: She wears the usual cross country equipment; A black saddly and bridle which also goas across her chest, a white saddle pad and silver stirrups. Sometimes she will wear leg bangages/protectors and a nose ring (usually made from wool).
Owner/Jockey(Rider): Amie Steel who also shares with her boyfriend John Kenny. They are top breeder for horses and have bred top quality thoroughbreds; beautiful foals and top cross country and racing horses. They have children who also own a race-track making them pretty well known for that also.

Tias eyes slowly blinked open as the sun began shining onto her eyes lids, her nostrils flared as a snort blew out. Slowly turning in her luxary stall she poked her head and peered over the door; spotting as various riders entered the stables for their horses. Her tail flicking as their hooves clipped against the stone ground, a nicker escaping her mouth as Lisa walked towards her with the saddle balanced over her arm with the blanket underneath and the bridle hanging over. Placing them on the door she undone the latch and opened the door. "Where my beautiful girl?.." She chuckled as the bay mare gently nudged her; giggling the human petted her and grabbed the saddle pad from under the saddle and placed it on her back, then getting the saddle and placing it on her back and buckling it up under the girl and tightening the straps. Rougly patting the fillys side she grabbed the bridle and placed it over her head and in position as she tightened it up. "Ready for more practice, Tia?" She questioned with a smile and as usual to bay mare nodded her head. "Let's go then!" Lisa urged as she grabbed the reins and lead her out the stables, leaving her stall door a little bit open as her hooves tapped the ground.
Exiting the stables they began heading down the concrete path, the horses hooves continuing to make a clopping sound as they passed many outdoor arenas where the other horses were already training. Lisa tugged at the mares reins as she trailed off near a fence "Come on girl, you don't want to distract anyone.." She sighed as they continued onward. Tia then tugging back on the reins being her stubborn self, rolling her eyes Lisa walked forward and tugged again "Come one, your losing out on training time!" She scolded slightly as the horse wouldn't move. Dropping the reins Lisa walked towards the cross country arena; knowing Tia would follow. Tia tilted her head as her owner began padding towards the arena, snorting she closely followed; trotting up the hill her hooves gently thudding the ground, then halting to make walk as she arrived a side Lisa. "Well hello again!" Lisa chuckled as she grabbed the reins again and they entered the. Field, waiting for their trainer Kane Brook, to arrive.

Show Name: Wild Beauty

Breed: Thoroughbred
Age(Must be at least 2 years to compete): She's 4 years old.
Personality: Flicka is a calm and cool mare who just loves to run, although she is a festy and stubborn horse she does what's needed and always manages to please her rider and others. When in the pasture she does practice runing to help improve her stamina and speed, but she does it mainly for fun. She Is serious when it comes to wrok and training so will snap at anyone who doesn't get on with their job or try to distract her; but Flicka does sometimes mess around.
Description: She has a picture but, here goes a small description; Flicka is a large white horse standing at 16.9 hh meaning she's a big horse! Her body structure is large and muscular because of the sport she takes part in. She's a 'dominant white' meaning she has white skin and pure white fur (unlike most horses that are known as white but are actually grey as that's what color their skin is). Her hooves a sort of grey/cream color and the tip of her muzzle is pink. Flicka has a long flowing white mane and hazel eyes.
Equipment/Tack: Her usual racing gear; a white saddle blanket, a white saddle and a black bridle or sometimes white. Sometimes she will wear a fly mask or a nose band, that is always white and her fly mask is usually white to.

Flicka
Flicka woke hearing the other horses leave the stable, poking her head over the door a snort escaped past her nostrils as she began weaving her head over the door and gently kicking at it. Letting out a neigh as she turned to the large entrance seeing a shadow drawing nearer. "Hush girl!" Aaron muttered as he slowly walked towards his white horse, a smile plastered on his face as the racing equipment was hung over his right arm. Opening the door he placed the things on the door only to feel a sharp nudge from the eagre horse "Stop it Flcka!" He scolded pushing back the horse causing her to kick at the wood. Rolling his eyes Aaron began tacking up his horse; soon finishing he lead her out and towards the track. Pulling she let out a whinne and half reared as Aaron tugged her back. "Hold it girl, we're nearly there.." He chuckled as he decided to get in the saddle. Hopping up he swung himself onto the saddle and shuffled around getting comfy as he kicked the mares side allowing her to warm up on the way to the practice track.

Rumour
Rumour's eyes fluttered open at the sound of hooves clanking against metal. Her ears flickeres upwards as her snout raised up, water dribbling down her chin and whiskers. / Ooh, they're awake! / Her mind buzzed with excitment of seeing her friends. Suddendly, hoof clashed against metal again. The bay mare smahed her dark hoof against the bars located on the doors to her stall. She demanded to get out! A man walked up to her stall, gripping the base of her bridle and slowly leading her out to the pastures. Rumour leaned down on her back legs and jumped straight off, the man stuttering forward with her right before he let go, letting the mare gallop off.

Breed: Pure Thoroughbred
Age(Must be at least 2 years to compete): 2 Years Old
Personality: Mordecai is rather layed-back stally, often seen simply hanging around the other stallions, but he takes his work seriosuly and will push himself to the limits if needed. He's compeltely focused on winning when it comes to racing but friends come first. He usually gets along well with everyone.
Description: A light chestnut stallion with a short (usually cut) brown mane, light cream snout, socks, a single cream spot near his belly and blue eyes.
Equipment/Tack: Simple black saddle decorated with green stars.
Owner/Jockey(Rider): Ryan Smith
Wins/Losses(If any): None.

Misty jumped off f Dark and grabbed her reins. She lead her to the wash stall and took off her tack. She then sprayed her with the hose to make sure the sweat didn't harden herr pelt. She then put a halter and lead rope and lead Dark back to her stall. She took the lead rope then left her there. Dark looked at her oats and began eating them.

Inferno
Inferno arched his neck as Thomas tugged on the reins to slow him from his energetic gallop. Giving his head a hard shake, he reluctantly obeyed and turned, slowing to a bouncy trot. Stopping near the outside rail to let Thomas and their trainer speak, the easily unamused colt's bored gaze drifted back towards the track, where he intently watched the other racers breezing in the cool of the early morning. He studied his potential future competition with great interest as they flew by, and soon let out a cocky snort. "Psh. I could beat those numb-skulls with one hoof tied behind my back..." The thoroughbred muttered to himself, boredly flicking his tail at his sweaty chestnut haunches. "Alright, take him out full from the quarter pole. I'm going to get a clock on him." He managed to catch the trainer saying to his jockey, who nodded. "Finally!" Inferno huffed as he obeyed Thomas' command to head back out to the inside rail. "Time to show these fools what I'm made of." He snorted to himself, picking his hooves up high in a confident dance-like prance.

Phil Banks; their trainer. Soon arrived as they spotted his black four by four heading up the drive way, the large man then heading up towards the cross country course. A snort flared past the marest nostrils as she stomped a hoof against the ground and nodded her head letting out a nicker "I'm here girl!" The man chuckled as the entered the course with a smile. "Ok, I'm assuming you want to get right to it yes?" He muttered looking up at Amie who sat on the large 16.2 hands hight horse. Roughly Phil patted her on the neck and pushed her head to the left meaning they could go and making a clicking sound; Amie nodded and turned the mare. "Start her off in a walk!" He instructed and so she did, gently kicking the horse in the sides she pushed her body forward signaling the horse to step into a walk; with a nod of her head the bay mare excelled into a walk. "Take her around a few times!" He shouted across the field. Digging her heals in slightly harder the bay mare was instructed to jump into a trot and so she did, her hooves gently thudding the ground as she ran around the fence. "Now a gallop, and after go into a canter to warm er' up!" He shouted one last time. Kicking the horses sides it caused her to go into a gallop, picking up the pace slightly she galloped around the field, her tail flicking as her head slightly lunged forward. After a minute or so Amie made a clicking sound with her mouth and kicked the fillys sides for the final gait; running into a canter her head moving forward with every stride followed by a snort. "Good, now take her over a few of the log jumps, but start with the smaller ones and work your way up, then the water jumps!" He instruced. Lifting a hand from the reins Amie put her thumb up and pulled left forcing the horse to turn towards a jump "Let's go girl!" She encouraged as she kicked the horses sides; the two lunging off as they started on their jumps. Flicka felt a tug on her reins as they arrived at the track, a snort escaping her lips as they arrived at the track, her tail flicking in anticipation as she wanted to get going; Flicka was a young resident at the track but well known for her excellence in the racing world, a tough competetor. Stephen was standing at the gates waiting with a tooth pick in his mmouth as usual, picking it out as he spoke "Morning!" He nodded to Aaron in his usual rough tone, Aaron nodded "Morning. Stephen.." With a smile as he awaited their instructions. "Ok well you know the drill and what I expect from you yes?" He questioned with a brow raised waiting for the dark haired male to reply; nodding his head "Yeah, I know" he muttered. "Good, well first just walk her around then go into a trot, soon after a gallop then a canter. This will just be an easy one so you can take as long as you want, second time I'll time you guys; so don't go hard on the first few laps and keep er' steady!" He instructed with a smile still plastered on his face on the tooth pick in his mouth. Nodding "Alright!" He muttered and kicked at the mares sides ordering her to go which she did. "About time.." The mare muttered to herself as her hooves hit the soft sand, a sense of freedom filling her. Letting out a neigh she half reared and looked back at her human. "Hold It girl, you heard his instructions.." He sighed as he kicked the mares sides. Snorting she felt the light tap her her sides and walked half way around the course, then was signaled to go into a trot, so she did; a bouncy trot as her tail flicked. Coming back to the start she went into a gallop and her hooves gently thudded the sand covered track, her mane and tail flwoing slightly behind her "Now?.." She muttered to herself only to feel a sharp kick in her sides, the signal telling her to go into a canter. Smirking she excelled into a canter but Aaron held her reins tight in order to not make her to full strides as this was still a warm up. Her hooves thudded the ground as she flew across the flat surface, slightly tugging on the reins with each stride, but still not able to reach full strides and her full potential.

Mordecai bobbed his head up and down as his trainer, Ryan, clambered up onto his back. He gently kicked at the stallions side, making the Thoroughbred march foward. "Get 'em into a canter, Ry!" A dark brown haired man waved his hand in the air the same instant his trainer kicked his sides, making the stally rear and leap of his hind legs, maximizing his stride. Soon, he was thundering across the track, biting into the metalic "thing" in his mouth.

Rumour's eyes fluttered open at the sound of hooves clanking against metal. Her ears flickeres upwards as her snout raised up, water dribbling down her chin and whiskers. / Ooh, they're awake! / Her mind buzzed with excitment of seeing her friends. Suddendly, hoof clashed against metal again. The bay mare smahed her dark hoof against the bars located on the doors to her stall. She demanded to get out! A man walked up to her stall, gripping the base of her bridle and slowly leading her out to the pastures. Rumour leaned down on her back legs and jumped straight off, the man stuttering forward with her right before he let go, letting the mare gallop off.

Inferno raised his head, giving it a shake in response to Thomas' light tug on the reins to slow his antsy pace. Aligned with the inside rail now, his jockey gave his sides a quick kick, the signal he had been waiting for. With a flick of his tail, the colt half reared and sprang forward, immediately lunging into a full gallop as if he were breaking from a starting gate. Head bobbing and nostrils flared, the chestnut thoroughbred sprinted down the dirt track. He narrowed his eyes, noticing the pitch white filly breezing not far ahead of him. Instantly, he flicked into a competitive mindset. Shifting gears, he extended his strides to sweep across more ground, taking a familiar stride length much like his ancestor, Secretariat. Thomas quickly caught wind of what the colt was thinking, and decided to play along. Giving the reins a light tug to the right, Inferno tossed his head and obeyed without hesitation, galloping right up along side of the white mare. Glancing over at her, he flashed a cocky smirk and a wink before veering around in front of her and continuing down the backstretch on the rail again.

Flicka felt another light kick on her side, swaying her head slightly and grittping her teeth. A snort escaping past her nostrils as Aaron continued to hold tight on her reins. The sound of thundering hooves behind them caused her to let out a whinne to force Aaron to allow her to go to full strides. Seeing the chestnut cold run along side her a smirk grew on her face as he weaved around her and kept close to the rail, letting out yet another neigh as she bucked a little. "Alright, alright!" Aaron shouted as he loosened his grip on the reins allowing the mare to go to her full potential. Neighing once again the snow white mare picked up the pace now being able to take longer strides, her head lunging forward with every long step; a snort flaring past her nostrils as she caught up with the colt. She was now running along side him but on the outside, turning her head to look at the chestnut brute her brow raised and a smrik was on her face. Turning back to look at the track she continued onward, her large hooves thudding the ground as her muscles rippled beneath her skin with every large stride she took.

The chestnut felt his trainer tug back on the reins ever so slightly, making him skid backwards a bit before leaping up into the air and across the track again. His blue eyes were completely locked on the white mare and chestnut stally. Legs extending, he darted forward with all his might and ran side-by-side with the other Thoroughbreds. "Greetings!" He managed to snort under his heavy breathing. Pinning his ears across his scalp, Mordecai edged closer to the fence until he went into a full gallop besides Inferno.

Flickas head jerked up as she peered to her left seeing the young chestnut join them, with a smirk the young champion nodding at the youngster as he fell slightly behind then coming up at the rail; almost seeming like him and the other chestnut were fighting for the same position. Letting out a snort as Aaron waved her reins and pulled at them slightly loosening the force on her sides. Using their old racing knowledge of how to win races, but deciding to go easy on the two younger horses. Aaron forced the mare to fall back making her exactly in the with the two chestnut stallions, her mind focused on the track as she continued to lunge forward taking slightly smaller strides then before; breathing in through her nostrils and out through her mouth which helped her to keep up her stamina and not get out of breath as easy. Her creame hooves thudding the ground as she peered at the stallions from the corner of her eye.

Tia felt a light tug on her reins which caused her to draw back and gracefully leap over the jump, swiftly landing on the grass coated ground. Feeling kicks in her side making her go faster as she excelled to the next jump, jerking back slightly and extending her muscular legs forcing herself over the log jump. Snorting as she cantered onward, taking on one of the water jumps and flying over it with easy. Words of praise were heard both from Phil and Lisa, letting out a slight whinned as she turned sharply and bounded towards one of the other jumps, a snort flaring past her nostrils as she leapt over the steep jump; landing on the ground with a slight thud. "Practice on the steep ones, she needs a softer landing!" Phils instructed Lisa putting up her hand as an ok. Cutting through the course they began jumping over the steeper jumps that were slant like a slope her landing becoming softer the third time "Good, now take her around the course. But make it clean, no faults!" He instructed once more and so they did; arriving at the starting point she stopped for a moment allowing the mare to get her breath back, once done Lisa kicked the mares sides and pushed forward in the saddle making her start with a trot, then a gallop and finally into a canter, they started on the course once more.

The colt followed along with the white mare, focusing his gaze on the stallion ahead. Just as he was about to pass Inferno, Ryan tugged back on his reins, making him skiddle back behind the mare. "Dammit.." He hissed, angrily turning away to slowly trot back. "Ry, get Mordy back into his stall! Also, please call the other riders back, the vet came to give the horses their vaccinations!" The man howled, slowly turning away to walk back into the stable. "Vaccination?" The chestnut grumbled before trotting along.

He trotted out of the Jumping Arena, and Tucker dismounted, giving him 3 sugarcubes in which Thunder ate happily. Tucker undid his tack, and let him into the pasture. Thunder trotted in, stopping at a patch of green grass and started to nibble and munch on it. His tail swatted a fly, and it went off to find a different animal to land on. But before he could get a good meal, Tucker whislted. He lifted his head, and Tucker was waiting at the Fence. Tucker whistled and clicked, and Thunder walked over. Tucker smiled, "Good boy. I got a call, you need to be in your stall when the vet comes over." The vet? Thunder had only seen the vet when he was a young foal, but he couldn't remember much of it. He was guided into his stall, which had fresh water and new straw and oats. Tucker took the comb and combed Thunder's mane, doing it easily yet getting the tangles and burrs out, "Good grief Thunder.. we didn't train THAT much did we?" He combed a bit more then combed Thunder's tail. He put the Comb up, returning with a brush, and brushed Thunder's pelt, "Ugh we did this before training!" He neighed and stomped his hoof. Tucker smirked, finishing one side and walked to the other side, brushing some more. Thunder snorted, and let Tucker do his thing. Vet.. the word echoed in his mind.

Inferno arched his neck, a cocky smirk plastering itself on his muzzle as he took the lead ahead of the snow white mare. He swiveled an ear to catch the pounding hoofsteps rapidly advancing on them and slightly turned his head to shoot a subtle glance behind him. He flared his nostrils upon noticing not only had the mare extended her strides to catch up, another colt had quickly advanced. Raising his eyebrows, he let out a chuckle at the chestnut's greeting and snapped his attention back forward. For mere purpose of showing off, he dipped his head in a subtle energetic galloping buck then shifted into a new gear and sprang forward, his strides now fully extended to swallow more and more ground. Ears flat, he shook his head with a confident nicker after noticing the two had dropped farther back, the other colt even completely stopping under the command of his jockey.

Snorting as he extended his strides "Gonna tire himself to fast..." She muttered to herself as Aaron kicked at her sides forcing her to catch up to the youngster; but they remained still slightly behind him. Her hooves thudding the ground as her strides were slightly longer; but now she wasn't able to reach her full potential for the time being. Sand flying up slightly into the ari from the force of her hooves, her head lunging forward with every stride as she looked at the colt out the corner of her eye and gave a smirk. Then focusing fully back on the track.

Inferno shot another glance over his shoulder and smirked. Snapping his head forward again, he arched his neck and lashed out another subtle buck, making Thomas wobble in the stirrups. The jockey quickly regained his composure and returned to his forward standing position in the saddle, arms moving with the colt's bobbing head as they swept down the clubhouse turn and into the homestretch. Snorting hard every time his front hooves slammed down onto the dirt, Inferno returned his determined focus on what lie ahead. The team flew past the quarter pole, as the trainer had commanded, then Thomas began to tug on the reins to reel in the sprinting colt to a canter, then to a trot. Huffing heavily through his flared nostrils, Inferno shook his finely trimmed mane and obeyed the command to turn and walk back over to the outside rail where their trainer stood with a stopwatch. Sides heaving and fiery chestnut pelt now a shade of dark brown from sweat, Inferno halted to allow the humans to speak, though his eyes and mind wandered back over to the track, where he watched the white mare from earlier thunder past.

Soon enough, the young colt bucked his way outside, shining chestnut pelt shivering with anticipation of his next workout. Mordecai pranced over to Inferno, dipping his head respectfully before he was lead away by his bridle as his trainer came to pick him up.
The Thoroughbred stood before the long stretch of grass as his rider leaned forward, patting the side of his neck. Mordecai eyed the white speck in the distance, his eyes squinting at the challenge. The gate buzzed and flung open, making the colt jerk his head up and pivot of his flexed legs and out onto the track. Wind whirred by his ears as he extended his strides to cover more ground, even though he was going slower. As he got closer to the white mare, he shifted his gait to more smaller steps, but it helped him reach top speed. Mordecai leaped past Flicka, cocking his head back and giving off a smirk of satisfaction before thundering off since he had more stamina then the worn-out mare.

The white mare watched as the stallion began to draw back, giving him a nod and a smile as he backed away. The other colt then running along side her. Smirking she tugged at the reins and extended her strides as she peered at the finishing line; using the energy she saved the white horse cantered past the youngster and dipped her head neighing as she skidded over the finish line. Darwing back and rearing doing a half turn to face the young stallion who was heading her way; a smile plastered on her face. "Nice round Flicka, time for Stephen to time you.." He muttered and walked the mare back towards their trainer; stopping infront of him. "Ok, nice run you can tell she's a prize horse!" He praised then patted the mare on the neck, sweat visable on her pelt. "Right, now I'm going to time her but first let her get a drink, then walk her off before we start.." He smiled and the young male nodded turning the mare towards the bucket of water and allowing her to drink from it, after kicking her sides forcing her into a walk the two slowly eased across the sand coated ground; giving the mare a chance to cool down from her practice.

As the white mare passed him, Mordecai frowned and pelted forward after her, his jockey leaning forward and bobbing up and down as the colt galloped madly after her. Ryan tugged back on the reins, letting the Thoroughbred skid next to Flicka. As they removed the saddle from him, his usually glistening chestnut coat was darkened bay in some places. His legs were shivering, and spit trickled down his lips as he bent down to drink. Mordecai lashed his tail out, flicking his ears forward at the mare. "Ey, I wasn't even started with the race. You did like, 7 laps." The colt nickered before cocking his head sideways as his trainer handed him an apple. Chomping it down, he whinnied and started to drink the water again.

Her head flicked up as a neigh escaped her maw and a snort flaring past her nostrils, her jockey pulling back on the reins as he leant forward and rougly patted the mares sweta coated neck. "Hold it girl, we'll be running in no time!" He chuckled at the eagre mare as they continued trotting down the track.

One more work-out in about, three hours and you're done for the day!" The man patted Mordecai's sponge-soft snout, taking his bridle and leading him to the paddock to rest.

She neighed as she was forced to turn around and excell into a gallop across the sand filled course, souring across the ground with ease as she was then took into a canter; hitting the starting point Flicka sprinted. Her legs fully extended and her head free allowing her to go her full potential and top speed. The white mares hooves thudded the ground as Aaron motioned back and forth in the saddle; his hands behind the mares neck slightly pushing urging her faster. Like a white strike of lightning she bounded across the course, finishing soon after. She continued running for a minute or so and soon slowed down as they reached Stephen. Stopping infront of him a smile seemed plastered on his face Aaron raising a brow as he looked at him. "Well I must say she's coming along smoothly!" He shouted in a rather excited tone "What did she run?" The jockey asked curiuosly. "This little beauty ran 1:05!" He excolaimed patting the mare on the neck then rubbing it "One of the bestest times I've seen all day!" He smirked patting her once again. "That's great!" Aaron smiled "It sure is, let her rest up until our next training session.." He muttered and Aaron nodded leaning forward and patting the mare on the neck as they headed towards the barn so he could hose her down, brush her then let her into the pasture. Her hooves tapping against the concrete as they made their way towards the stables.

Thunder snorted as the vet walked into his stall. The vet smiled, "Hello Thunder. Remember me?" Thunder bobbed his head, then stomped his feathered hoof. The vet pet him for a bit, then frowned. He turned and left the stall, talking with Tucker and Peter. He could hear their muttering, but couldn't make out the exact words. After the vet left Tucker came in, "You have an infection, Thunder. We are going to have to take you to the vet." "But I don't want to go!" He whinnied.

Trotting down the hill she watched as other horses began to also enter and exit the barn; a snort flaring past her nostrils as she felt another pat on her neck "Nice work Tia!" She smiled as she sat back in the saddle. Nodding her head she let out a neigh as her hooves tapped against the concrete ground.

The Thoroughbred watched as the bolt of white crossed the track with ease, his mouth filled with soft green shards of grass as he ate. "That was nice!" He exclaimed, slashing his tail across the air. "We should run together sometimes." Mordecai dipped his head, ears prickling forward as his trainer leaned over the fence to pet him. "Okay Mordy, I know you may be tired but this will be our last work out for the day, okay Mordy?" Ryan swiftly bounded away to retrieve his saddle and get his jockey this time.
Chestnut pelt shimmering, the colt rocketed forward from the starting point, sand acting as dust behind him; Mordecai thundered forward as the jockey kicked at his sides. Cream hooves struck ground repeatedly as he pelted on. Soon enough, he eyed the homerun. Leg muscles flexing, his strides became much wider to cover more ground as he sped forward. His nostrils flaring and ears pinned against his scalp, he leaped over the finish line before trotting to a stop. The timer clicked. "1:05! Just like the pretty girl over there!" Mordecai flashed a smirk towards the white female, his shoulders shuddering. "Lead Mordy to his stall, he needs the rest." His trainer spoke. The jockey softly kicked at Mordecai's flank, making him trot forward towards the stables.

"Its alright girl, its just an injection.." He muttered leaping off the mare and leading her into the stable area. Pulling off her bridle he placed on a head collar and lead rope then lead her towards the ring; tying her up he unclipped the girth and pulled off the saddle. Placing it in the tack room he soon exited and unwrapped the hose from the reel and turning it on by the tap. Holding the tube he began hosing the mare down a snort escaping her maw as she pawed at the ground then letting out a neigh slamming at the puddles. Chuckling at her actions he held up a hand trying to blocom hitting him "Whoa girl!" He laughed once again. Once finished he turned off the tap and tied in the hose then grabbing the brush box and searching through it. Grabbing out one of the brushes he began brushing down the mare, patting her lightly as he done so; then placing the brush back in the box he grabbed out another comb for the mares mane. Standing at her side he began brushing the small tats out and getting out any dirt; standing at the side of her rump he grabbed her tail and began brushing it. Returning it back to the box he grabbed the hoof-pick and ligted up her back hooves first; scraping out any dirt then doing the same with the other hooves. The vet came into the stable and he smiled shaking the mans hand. They began talking and Flicka waited for her injection. Snorting she looked at the vet tilting her head; her ears now lifted as her hoof scraped across the ground. Feeling refreshed she remained standing relaxed awaiting for the injection.

Entering the stable she watched as the vet was there, smiling as Tia was one of the first to get her injection. Taking off her tack she allowed the vet to go into the stall with the mare. Watching cautiously as the vet entered a snort flared past her nostrils, letting out a whinne as a buring feeling was felt through the bottom of her neck. "All done!" He smiled as he rubbed the spot and opened to door "She's all done, should be fine she's a healthy horse!" He smiled and walked towards the other "Thanks.." Amie smiled and grabbed a brush from the box. Going into the stall she brushed the mare and smiling as she nodded her head up and down "Time to put you in the pasture girl!" Amie muttered as she clipped the lead rope onto her head collar and led her towards the pastures.

Ryan tugged on the lead rope as he slowly lead the colt to his stall. Neatly tying the end of the rope on a special handle on the wall, he grabbed a brush and started to pull it through the Thoroughbred's chestnut coat. Mordecai eyed the female before focusing on his food, dipping his snouth into the bucket of oats and wolfing them down. "As I said before," The colt nickered, "We should run together sometimes. You seem pretty fast." Mordecai snickered in-between gulps before he watched the vet approach with a vaccine. As they spoke, Ryan already brushed his mane and tail and was cleaning his hooves.

Flicka watched as the cold was brought in, then listening to what he had to say. Chuckling a little and nodding her head "Yeah, maybe we should. But let's just say I don't exactly 'run' when preacticing.." She smirked and turned to peer at the vet standing at her side. Snorting and peering at Aaron as he said a few calming words; shaking her head then looking back at the vet. Only feeling a burning feeling and it was over right away. Dragging her hoof across the ground she let out a nicker. "Nice mare you've got here, seen her earlier she's a good runner. She's do splendid in the racing world.." He smiled and roughly patted her side and walking away. Aaron nodded and grabbed her rug and leg pads; walking towards her and beginning to put em' on.

Feeling a rough pat on her neck she turned to look at the chestnut colt and the white mare. Snorting as she watched the vet check up on the other horses. "Come on girl!" Amie instructed as she chukled and pulled on the lead rope leading the mare out of her stall. Drawing towards the large arch she let out a echoinh neigh, her creame hooves tapping against the concrete ground. Peering outside the bay mare peered around and let out a sigh of relief at the feeling of fresh air. Amie made a clicking sound with her mouth and tugged at the rope, leading the large mare towards the pastures.

((Well you haven't really missed much Jim, Tia has done her practicing and has been brushed down, got her injection, her rug on and now she's heading up to the pastures. Flicka has been washed and brushed, had the injection and now her blanket Is being placed on. Mordecai also finished practicing and was brushed down also getting his injection and he's now talking to Flicka. Taxmania has made and app and is waiting to be accepted, Thunder (Duna) is in the stables and is yet to get the injection))

Inferno tossed his head as Thomas dismounted and led him by the reins towards the stable. Sides still heaving from his workout, the thoroughbred gave his jockey's shoulder an energetic shove with his muzzle. The human chuckled and patted his sweaty neck before stopping and beginning the untacking process. After removing the bridle and other tack, he slipped Inferno's halter over his head. On the side of the leather halter was a silver plate engraved with his show name. Quickly hosing off the colt, Thomas turned him out to the pasture after finishing grooming him. The second the lead rope was unhooked from his halter, Inferno arched his neck and took off like a shot with a playful buck. Thomas shut the pasture gate and made his way back to the barn. Disregarding the others in the field for now, the colt swiftly galloped across the well trimmed grass, lashing out occasional kicks and bucks as if he were a mere foal again.

Tia watched as a chestnut cold charged through one of the pastures, rearing slightly and letting out a neigh in sheer excitement. "Whoa girl!" Amie yelled as she tugged at the lead rope slightly urging the mare back down. Making yet another clicking sound the dark haired female lead her towards the pasture; slowly and carefully opening to gate to make sure none of the horses ran out. Shutting it behind her she grabbed Tia by the head collar and pulled it down as she clipped off the lead rope; rougly petting her then pushing her away letting out a chuckle as she charged off, turning she exited toe fenced in area and headed back towards the farm house. The bay filly watched as the chestnut horse galloped around the field, her head flicking is amusement but was soon followed by a snort. Pawing at the ground she dipped her head to graze.

"Yah, yah." The colt whinnied, perking his ears forward as Ryan patted his side and went out of the stall to get the vet. "My stally is ready, doc'." The boy said as the vet came walking up and inserting the small needle in his neck. It burnt just a smudge, but Mordecai stood tall, rearing up onto his hind hooves as a sign of dominance. "Well, I'll probably go out. Some grass needs chewing." His hoof clanked against the stall gate. Ryan knew what this meant; he went to get his blanket and tie it up around the colt's muscular bodice. Lead rope clicking, he gently guided the Thoroughbred out into the pasture where the other horses frolicked about.

The creeking of the closing gate quickly caught Inferno's attention. Still at a lazy lope, he raised his head, perking his ears as he saw the two newcomers to the pasture- a bay filly and another chestnut colt- the latter he recognized from the track. Lowering an eyebrow, the thoroughbred gave his head a toss and made a hard right, curiously trotting over to the other racer. With a snort, he slowed to a stop a few feet in front of the thoroughbred, ears forward and head high. "Weren't you breezing on the track this morning?" He questioned, head slightly tilted to the side as he observed the other colt, his gaze occasionally drifting back to the mare nearby whom he hadn't yet met, though he kept his focus on the horse in front of him.

Terra reared up in her stall seeing Emma. Emma chuckled and grabbed Terra and grabbed her lead rope opening the stall door as she hooked up her lead rope and walking her out of the stall she walked to the tack room and put on her diamond saddle and her bridle Terra neighed loudly as Emma mounted her and kicked Terra's side as Terra bolted, Emma seeing Thomas pulled back her reins making her stop infront of Thomas she dismounted Terra quickly and said "I'm so sorry! Are you alright?!"

Once her maroon blanket was placed on along with her shin-pads she felt a rough tap on her side, turning to see Aaron as he placed the brushes away in the cupboard; her tail flicking as he headed over and untied the rope leading her out the stable. A whinne escaped the dominant-white mares mouth as they padded across the concrete path way; her large creame hooves tapping against the graveled surface as they soon arrived at the large white gate. Peering in the noticed the two colts from earlier and the bay cross-country horse. Flicking her tail the dark haired human walked into the pasture and unclipped the lead rope "Ok girl, have some time to yourself and we'll train again later.." He smiled and petted her once more; then leaving the pasture. The white thoroughbred peered around and examined each horse, her nostrils flaring as a snort blew past; pawing at the ground she turned her attention towards the grass and began to graze once again.

Hearing the clopping of hooves she turned her head to watch a large white mare entering the pasture, soon being left by her human. The bay horse tilted her head for a minute as her ears flicked, a snort flaring past her nostrils. Turning she peered at the two colts she suggested were other racers, sighing the mare trotted towards the water bucket that was supported by a tire; her pale colored rug flaring out slightly as she trotted. Tias creame hooves thudded the ground as she skidded to a halt near the black bucket, another snort flaring past her nostrils. The large brown mare dipped her head towards the round object and dipped her head in; dropping it down until she felt the cold liquid. Her ears flicked as she began gulping down the liquid.

The mare snorted as she was put back in her stall. She stuck her head out through the hole in the stall door watching as her owner left. She glanced around the stable. Nothing interesting seemed to be happening.

Terra whinnied when seeing Emma, Emma chuckled and opened her stall, using her trick called the rope and acting like she was tugging Terra's rope, Terra instinctively followed as Emma stopped Terra was still following. Emma walked Terra into the round pen, Terra's small hooves clamping the ground. Emma then grabbed her whip and lashed it to the ground Terra reared up and trotted Emma then said "Reverse." Terra reared up and trotted the other way. Emma grasped Terra's halter and hung from it Terra galloped faster and stopped when Emma tapped her neck. Emma then said "Wow good job Terra." She pulled out of her pocket a carrot Terra whinnied and pranced around Emma chuckled and said "Wait Terra!" Terra stood still as Emma turned towards Terra and have her the carrot Emma then used her trick and led Terra into the tack room. Emma adjusted her saddle and slipped on her bridal, Terra whinnied loudly. Emma chuckled and said "That's my ear Terra." Emma then said "One more day until we see how you do with racing." Terra reared up as Emma mounted her and closed the tack room door. Emma then whipped the reins getting her into a trot. Terra trotted in rhythm by Modecai. Emma smiled and waved towards Mordecai's owner, she stopped and dismounted Terra and walked to Mordecai's owner and said "Hi." Terra looked at Mordecai and said "Hi.." Terra sighed thinking "Yeah no one would like me.."

Dark snorted and nipped at a piece of hay outside of her stall. She nibbled on the small pile of hay for a moment before pulling her head back in. She rubbed against the side of the stall to scratch an itch then sat inside waiting for her rider to let her out in the pasture.
