Which character do you mostly make?

I think it's an even 50/50 for me. I used to make almost solely canines, and then for a while I made a lot of felines. I have one of each as my main fursonas (a winged lion and a red wolf), so I don't really have too much of a preference.

I usually even don't make characters I usually just use my character Kate and am fine. But when I am gonna make one it is 98% a canine.

I generally use canine, but I also have several feline characters that I am really proud of. Felines can have more head shapes than canines, but the canines are much slimmer and more graceful-looking.

I have lots of canines. And probably about 2 felines xD. What can I say...I must be a dog person. :)

Whether I play a canine or feline depends on what I feel like playing that hour. But, to be fair, I do tend to play canines more than I do felines. I like to play felines when I feel like being agile and calm and a canine when I want to experiment with personality.

I can easily say "canine" although when Feral Heart first came out, I mostly had hyenas (which are neither canine nor feline, they're in their own group) with a few hyenas thrown on top of that, and very few canines. Now, nearly three years later, its entirely backwards.

Personally, I prefer the canine models. This is only due to connecting to a canidae is much easier for me to do, making roleplaying much more comfortable and flowing. In the beginning of my feral heart experience, however this was not the case. I roleplayed as mostly a felidae, mostly in the lion category, not many other types of cats intrigued me at the time.

I like both models a lot, but for some reason, I like the felines a lot better. It doesn't make sense though... because my favorite animal is a wolf.

I prefer to roleplay as non-feline/canine animals, so about 50% percent of my characters are on the feline base, and 50% on canine.

When it comes down to how many actual feline or canine characters I have (that are actually feline/canine, not horses, bears, rhinos, aliens, parasitic robot things etc), I would say I have a few more canines.
And probably 100% of those are domestic dogs. I absolutely love the huge variety you can have with just that one species.
However I have jaguars, lions, domestic cats, and a tiger as well. So it's pretty close to %50 feline %50 canine.

I tend to use the canine models more, I must admit. It's because I have a lot of deer and bear characters, and they (in my opinion) look more plausible using the canine model, rather than the feline one.

I'm also a dog person in real life.

Honestly, this is probably because I know next to nothing about most cats XD Whereas dogs, well, dogs I can name a lot of breeds... I don't know.

Slighty off topic, but: Isn't it strange how most people can reel off some common dog breeds like Dalmatian, Poodle etc... But you see a cat and it's like: Cat. Brown cat. Black cat. Cat.

Same here! XD I have like 11 feline characters and only one wolf (because he's speshul). There is a majority of canines on FH... Just me trying to be different I guess :P

Mostly canine, I only have a couple of feline characters and it's extremely awkward to rp with them because I rarely ever do.

Canines. My favourite animal is the wolf, and I'm a dog person after all. I feel weird playing as felines.
