I had asked LordSuragaha what the weirdest report she got.

I can't believe people send legit reports about these things.  I thought the were just threatening it.  What kinds of things did people say they would report you for?  And Mods, what are some of the weirdest reports that you got?

I think this was more of a threat, as I doubt the person actually did it. But I was once threatened to be reported for "supporting" turtle soup. Which I'm actually very much against, I just think the names catchy and rememberable. XD

It must be the time I stood near a group of cats while playing as my fox character. I was told Red was their "best friend" and that they would report me for entering cat territory and other crap. I just basically stood there and kept talking to them, since I found these kinds of things amusing. They didn't do anything eventually, so I left.

Oh gawd, this happened about. A week ago? Well, I was leading my pride to the L-island and there was a white lion. He started squealing at me and saying how Kovu was his Dad and how I had to leave immediately. I tried to explain the rules to him. But he kept going on how he stays there ALL day and night to protect it. After saying that he stayed there every second of his life, he left...

Makes me wonder if mods get a kick out of some of these unusual and silly reports.

One thing I really hate is when people say that they are "friends with a mod" and that they will get their mod friend to ban you or your friends for not doing what they say. Often times people who say that they are friends with mods are lying and just throwing empty threats. I really think it's pretty pathetic that people will use the, "Oh my friend is -insert mod username here- and he/she will ban you if you don't listen to me!"

The only time someone ever threatened to report me for a stupid reason was because I was standing in their "territory". They were all "We were here first! Get out of our territory or I will report you!" I was all like, "Go ahead. It won't really do you any good. You're just going to make a mod facepalm." XD

I have only seen some one legitly reporting a Block hacker, and that is about it!

I once saw this one person's bio that included the sentences "If I see any feline or canine that looks like this character or shares the same name you shall be informed to change." and "If you decline a ban with Red might be discussed." (First sentence edited slightly.) This made me chuckle a little, as ironically I in fact years ago made a character with a one letter difference having name.
  But back to the topic. I personally found it amusing, as I believe a person can in fact be banned for copying a character completely, but that either a feline or canine with the same name or even some alikeness would get reported? I honestly doubt that would work.
   I too as a writer get protective over my characters, but at the same time I do not make them online if I know there is a danger for the ideas being used by people whom I do not want to see using them.

Another thing would probably be when an user was threatening to report someone for nothing while they were breaking the rules themselves. More than that I do not have for now.

Happened to me once at SP. I was like getting members for my wolf RP, and there arrived a user that said about somethig that FH is bad and all, and then i interupted him/her, and said like this: "Just becouse you hate FH dosen't mean that others do too." and then she was like, she's going to ban me and all, and i was like: "Go ahead ban me" i act like not scared one, but i was irl, my heart hurted alittel. (i have problams with heart) Then she/he like poofed. And i was like laughing, but trying not to. :/

Never been report threatened before, luckily. :D
But once I did see someone trying to report another person for being in their screen.. o.o

nope not yet :D but I remember when I was at my friends house playing feral heart and a group of god modding cats said "u dead now act like it or we will report you!" keeping in mind that a clan of about five to eight cats where taking on two adult male lions?!? now how that makes sence I do not know.

Dont really remember what started it, but the guy was threatening to report us all and that Red was his next door neighbor so we were surely doomed.

Someone reported me I think for randomly sitting on a rock that they claimed was there's, and because I had a character named the same thing. .w.

Dumb reports... oh where do I even start? Being a mod for over 2 years has really brought me some strange ones, I can tell you that xD I'll just list them off.

-A report for someone refusing to be their mate
-A report for being too brightly colored
-A few reports for those old Impressive Title servers going around???
-Someone tried to report me to myself (my personal fave)
-Someone trying to report a 'fake' me, when it actually was me

Also that one about someone claiming that Kovu was their dad was one of my favorites. I was in game when that one happened xD

I remember this one lion tried to report me, I was sitting in a rock in Ficho minding my own business then this one guy comes up and say "Get off my rock or lll report you!" I was just like *block* lol
Then this other person walked up to me because we had the same char name and she was like "Change ur chars name or I'll report you!" I was Just like *ignore* lols

All of these unfortunate events are quite amusing, I must say.

I remember back (way back when South Pole/Last Cave/Atlantis/Ascension Island/etc. was first released) when a blonde, female Husky sauntered on up to me and requested I be her mate. When I denied, she threw a fit and attempted to murder my character via power-play as well as threatened to report me to the MODs. It was an interesting evening to say the least.

I will take a slightly different approach to this topic instead of just posting funny things, but I hope it's fine.

Personally I have grown to the mindset that I do not wish to post matters like these unless seen really necessary for the time being  or a user asking for trouble. Many users can be quite rude about it as well but even so, and even no names will be mentioned I usually try to keep names away over staff matters, even funny reports is one of them. However at the same time the staff needs to be able to see and have some fun in the work they do as well and reports can be giggled at to brighten up ones day. Even after this though, completely out of place or not so serious reports will always be looked over to a certain extent. Others will say otherwise due to personal experiences but as of the recent years the staff has been very mature and professional about FeralHeart judging on what they deal with.

Strange reports can come in many ways, some can be true, others can just be false claims plain off, but many can also be a big nothing but a waste of time, effort and energy for everyone, and that's what we do not want to see or deal with. A thing I see as an issue among many inexperienced players and users on FeralHeart is that a report = Ban, which is quite silly itself, and in many cases a report or even mentioning a report wouldn't be needed, could've been dealt with personally if the user(s) even tried.

I do know that some people are more sensitive than others, but in some cases a simple block would work just fine, not trying to test ones luck as well. I'm sure the thousands of messages in the forum inbox hides quite some laughs in between everything else that might be found there. Personal matters over all between players that has nothing to do with any rule breaking, and being expected that the staff is going to sort out for them is one of the things that can make you go "Lolwut". But also as mentioned above, false claims to the extreme can be the death of you at times. People make up the most of crazy things here.
