Title: Feline or Canine?
Post by: Bawfle on November 10, 2013, 08:00:45 pm
Feline or Canine?

Just as the title says; Feline or Canine? I personally love the Feline model because it looks as though its been worked on for the longest, meaning I think its had more time spent on it other than the canine model which also looks kinda rushed.. But also for my love of cats 'n such, basically all of the feline creatures you can make from them.

What are your opinions? Feline or Canine?

I personaly like feline model more but I never actually use them.
Anything what you said is true at least I think that.
Feline model seems even when you start make a character smoother but canine seems a bit idk how to say bumpy?
So my personal love goes to feline model even thought I use canine models.

Feline~ I love felines, plus, the feline model, as you said, looks like it took a lot of time to make and all. It came out pretty nice, and seems a little more realistic than the canine model too, though not like I care about realism completely...
Feline, definitely. o3o /slappedforramblingfornoreason

I actually use the  canine  model significantly more than the feline models. I'm not really sure why, maybe because I've always been more fond of canines over felines.
Sometimes it depends on how they are colored and what species they are. I have made feline chars that I love, even more than some canine chars of mine, and vise versa.

Feline model seems even when you start make a character smoother but canine seems a bit, idk how to say bumpy?

Ah, I know what you mean. The feline in my opinion was made in a more 'smooth way' unlike the canine, which has more 'bumps' and crevices. It also depends on the fur texture your using. The canines tend to have more fur than the felines, making them look more (Can't find the right word) defined and more detailed than the felines, which, like I said before, are more 'smooth'.

Wow I really went off with this. Pardon if I went a bit off topic here... x'D

Even though wolves are my all-time favorite animal, I like the feline models more in this game. I dunno, the canine model doesn't look very realistic at all.

Felines, because indeed they seem smoother and the wolves have really pointy cheeks unless you edit them. Also, more ear options-- I guess.

Canine. My favorite Canine is a wolf. I love dogs. I think all Canines are amazing. (I still like Felines. Just less)

Feline for sure!

I have like one canine, which I don't use. But yeah, I don't know how to put it but the feline model looks more like a feline than a canine does canine. In my opinion.

Felines. I have to say because they just are easier to make and I love creating them, I've only had minimal luck in creating Canines.

Mainly canines due to various reasons. Plus I always find it a little strange that whenever I lay down on a feline character, I look like something resembling a pancake. T'is merely personal perspective of course.

I'm more of a canine person. I have nothing bad to say regarding the canine models.
Feline models are good too, but there's a thing I don't like a lot.

Don't you think the game should have a "cheek" slider in the Feline Creator? Or a slider which could change the width of the head? Like, it would be really cool if you want to make a cat or something more different than a lion. The head of felines kinda looks too narrow to me. When you scroll the slider to the minimal width, the body looks fine, but the head is just like a.. plank. Lol. If you scroll it to the maximal width, the head is kinda better, but the body is too muscular.

Of course, this is all my personal opinion. I know the felines don't have that width faces like the canines IRL, but I just don't like how it looks in-game. Not that if in a RP it really does matter how your character looks; it does, but the story is way more important.

I certainly use and have much more canine characters than feline characters. In all my accounts, I have two felines, literally. The one is a cat called Eloise, and the other is a black leopard called Bagira.

As I stated before, canines are better for me.

Is there a both option? Because I use both the canine and feline model equally.
I used to be an all canine kind of roleplayer and had nothing but canine characters. But ever since I started playing in WC roleplays, I've made plenty of feline characters.
