Title: Problems....
Post by: zillyphyn on November 23, 2013, 03:38:48 pm
So.
I'm just sitting there, making a map when all of a sudden I open the game, the backdrop becomes black, but the logo and the menu is up. I try opening the map maker and it closes. I reinstall the game, but I'm too scared to try it again. It has happened with many of my Windows accounts; I had to delete all of them and make another one. Then it starts doing it again; my computer also saying that I can't delete the folder and that I'm not an Administrator of my own PC.

I've fished around a little and didn't find this problem, so I decided, hey, why not post it myself if nobody else has had this problem?

Just to get this straight;

I've done the GIMP stuff correctly: 513x513,Grey scale, and had followed the rules of the shades of black to white.

Help?

Hmm, sounds like a tough puzzle Floof, let's see if I can help chu ^.^
Well, my thinking says that you may have to much detail in the map terrain, or, your missing a file when you re downloaded feral heart, but also, the game itself might just be being weird on you. Try looking into your particles folder and deleting the ones with .01 and .02 this is a glitch that tends to cause game crash and black screening.

I hope this helps you Floof.
