" This is it, the A P O C A L Y P S E.
' It is year 2020, the entire world has been taken over by a virus, an incurable, sadistic virus. The virus first came during the year 2015, Joshua Lingston was attacked and eaten alive by what at the time, was an unknown suspect. It all became clear, when it outburst-ed into millions. People eaten alive by other people, but the virus changed you into much more than a person. It was what we spent so many years making into movies, as an unrealistic thing. Some, or, most would call it, zombie. These zombies have E.T. DNA, and can run extremely fast, jump extremely high, and of course, eat you alive.
During the year 2018, the U.S. found that a certain type of K-9 was immune to the virus, European wolves, the only animal in the entire universe to be immune. The government captured many of the wolves, injecting them with liquids full of DNA. This DNA morphed many things in the wolves, not physically, but mentally. Extra strength, better vision, much higher stamina, heightened senses, and last but certainly not least, the ability to sense the virus. These dogs are strictly military use only, and have been sent out in small groups of up to maximum 20 dogs. They all work as a team, wiping out one area after another.
As of right now , the wolves have managed to wipe out many certain areas, forming giant walls and security to keep out the zombies. The teams are still going strong, and have added more advanced DNA to the wolves, adding a much longer lifespan and healthier life. It is even rumored that some of the K-9s have robotic eyes, able to see through walls. Some have limbs replaced with advanced metal robotics, suited with armor.

" I'm breathing in, the C H E M I C A L S
' You are one of the great fighting K-9s. You live to serve the world as a protector, fighting off the zombies. You are one of the wolves in Group #17, you have been trained to battle, injected with the DNA, and maybe even have robotic eyes. Who knows, robotic limbs are possible too. Most wolves often have their canines replaced with razor sharp titanium. I will only allow 1 more wolf to have robotic eyes, and anyone may have robotic limbs or titanium teeth, whatever floats your boat.
We all sleep in the same area, it is a long line of roofed, large dog houses attached to one another, and the fence is electric around it, and very tall, layered on the top of it is circles of barbed wire. No wolf can really escape, not that any would really have the want or need to. The yard is rather large, with plenty of area to run around, it has a few trees and a small pond, with a large boulder halfway in it. The group has initially formed their own 'pack' ways. Though nobody is really in command, it is more as if it was a big family.

Robotic limbs/titanium teeth? | Robotic Eyes, Titanium Teeth
Persona | Vi'deam, pronounced [ Vid-ee-ium] is a wolf of many attributes. His nationality is Russian, so when he speaks, it is a deep accent. He, at times, will speak in his own language, either to confuse someone or when he is angry. Vi'deam is extremely shy at first glance, but as he allows you into his circle, he has a flagrant sense of humor. He is looked at as a leader by many, and his duty in leading the group to attack is greatly looked at. Many consider him a great role model. He has a problem with shoving others away, and putting a wall up often, he has a form of PTSD which developed from battles in the past. His genetics are extremely rare, having more strength than average, it was a mystery mistake in the DNA creation, but a useful one.
History | Vi'deam comes from a long line of government bred wolves, and has grown to serve the military throughout his life. His first assigned two-legged friend was killed on one of the missions, by Vi'deams own jaws. he had been bitten by an infected one, and was beginning to turn. Vi'deam had to attack, it was instinct and training. He has formed PTSD from this accident, and sometimes anxiety attacks. He has formed a tight bond with his new assigned human, and does everything to protect him.
Other | Vi'deam's human is Travis, he will be mentioned throughout the RP.

Persona | Tala is usually very social, and she loves to make new friends. Although she can be friendly, when it comes to work she sets her mind to it. She makes a plan and is not too shy. This can also be her defeat, though, because she will run to the front of the battle just to make a plan of hers work. She can be very self-sacrificing though -- if out of a group, one wolf would have to kill themself for the rest to live, she would do so.
History | Tala doesn't have much of a history, she was created in a lab and is now alive. Although said afore she doesn't have much of a history, one interesting part was that somehow her eyes mutated and she became blind. Unacceptable for a military dog, so they were replaced, obviously. Her teeth were simply replaced for benefits.

The large male lay silently in the midst of dark. His mind wandered back, back to the old battle. He shut his electronic eyes and tried drastically to shove the memories back where they had come from. He flicked his radars and let out a sigh. It was almost time to go back out on the next mission, and Vi'deam honestly wasn't looking forward to it. He has been restless during the entire night, so attacking crazy flesh-eating zombies didn't seem entertaining at this particular time. The wolf opened his eyes, glancing up at the moon. He was able to control his eyes with his own mind. X-ray vision was really only ever used during missions. The moon was full of light, he could see the detail of craters embedded inside of it. The moon had never been lonely, not any night, always accompanied by a vast, never ending click of stars. The brute lowered his crown once again after letting out a sneeze. He rested his muzzle on top of his paws and closed his opticals once again. He could smell the others, most were sleeping like a rock, but tonight Vi'deam couldn't focus, he had always been anxious before a mission. It was instinct to be nervous about such a thing. Either way, he would get the job done and over with. It was just shitty how he had to go out for weeks, in infected zones. Killing off only a small fraction of the zombies. It would be worth it in the end, though, that is for sure.

Tala sniffed the air, scenting nothing but the other wolves around her. The pale orange glow of her robotic eyes kept her face focused and slightly menacing, but her personality was not like that at all. Swivelling her rounded-triangle shaped ears, the wolf made a mental scan of those around her. Dax. Vi'deam. Just males. Sighing, the female got up from her relaxed laying position and looked around. She must've been woken up by Dax, as he was the one speaking. "Dax, you're a great friend, really, but do you mind? I know you absolutely love to chat and I would love to too, but really, I mean it's.. it's like midnight. We have stuff to do.. tomorrow.." she said, words somewhat making a 'hissing' sound. Flopping back onto her stomach, Tala rolled onto her side and closed her eyes with a sigh.

Vi'deam closed his eyes, a moment of silence passed before the brute was woken. The sound of Dax's voice trickled in his ear drums. 'the stench of nerves is clogging up my nose. Why so tense chum?' The words were definitely from Dax. Vi'deam opened his robotics yet again. Aiming them towards Dax to get a visual of his face. His eyes allowed him to see %30 better than the average dog in the dark. He shuffled his weight to one side. " Just nervous for tomorrow, you know how I get, don't worry about it, Dax. We have a long mission ahead of us." He cocked his head, " We may not get any sleep for months after tonight. So take advantage of it." He looked over towards Tala, the only other dog with robotic opticals such as himself. He heard her comment towards Dax, ' Dax, you're a great friend, really, but do you mind? I know you absolutely love to chat and I would love to too, but really, I mean it's.. it's like midnight. We have stuff to do.. tomorrow..' but he ignored it. He lowered his head back to his paws and closed his eyes. He managed to tune out the snores, and even his thoughts. everything went blank, and he fell under a deep sleep.

The white-ish wolf, hearing both quietly fall asleep, opened one eye. The orange hue glowed slightly in the moonlight. Forcing her technological eyes to scan the stars, she picked out a few shapes and constellations. This happened to be one of her favorite things to do while waiting for sleep to come. Lifting her head to look around, making sure the rest of the wolves were asleep so that no one was tired for tomorrow, she let out a heavy yawn and drifted to sleep. Not before muttering a soft 'goodnight.'

Vi'deam's radars captured the sound of kibble hitting the metal food dishes. This wasn't any average kibble, though. This dog food was created specifically for extra nutrients, extra protein etc, for the man-made DNA. The wolf lifted his eyelids, and took in the light of the morning. Nothing but the sound of wolves munching on their breakfast came to the air. He pulled himself up onto his haunches, and released a yawn. He looked over towards Dax, and then Tala, wondering if they had slept well enough. He shook off the thought and jumped from the boulder. the smell of his food held a tighter rein as he trotted closer. Eventually, he lowered his maw and dug in to the sweet taste of meat. The male finished his breakfast, and looked towards the entrance of the yard, where all the men stood, waiting to suit up the dogs for the next mission. travis stood there too, smiling towards Vi'deam. the two had a great bond, and it was almost time to test it once again. The wolves always went through a quick training course to prepare for the real thing.

Gin "Vixen" | Female | 2 Y/O
Robotic limbs/titanium teeth? |Her front right leg is made out of metal, while her teeth are capped with titanium as well.
Persona | Since she's still fairly young- Gin will often act as a rebel and throw tantrums all over the place. She has a sharp-tongue and is usually too confident in herself. Gin believes she can do everything by herself- ending up in her mostly humiliating herself. Though, she's intelligent and cunning as well as a friendly wolf.
History | Born in one of the breeding programs- Gin was trained to track and kill on sight without hesitation. Growing up seperated from the world in a small cell had taken a rather toll on her since she's mostly antisocial. She's still training, but still goes on missions with the older canines as well.
Other | She has a slightly deeper Yorkshire accent (Mary Read from Assassins Creed: Black Flag) and her trainer is a 21 year old woman named Kadance.

The wolf raised her head as the clanging of metal and hard pebbles joined together. Wolves all around were eating. "Seems like I was late to the party," she muttered, heaving herself up and trotting towards her food bowl. It seemed to have already been filled. Sniffing around the area, she figured out that it was left by her human partner. What was his name? Ah.. John. He'd never really made a close bond with her, and she didn't really try after a month or two of this. He was fairly thin with dark hair and occasionally glasses. Yawning, she stretched her mouth open wide and swallowed almost all of her food in two large bites, then licking the bottom of the bowl for the rest. It was the only thing she'd ever eaten for the whole of her life -- except for an occasional swallow of the zombie flesh. Eugh, horrid taste, it had.

The male finished his meal, and backed away from the bowl. He gave one last lick to his chops and turned back towards Travis. The human began entering the yard, leash and a thick black, spiked leather harness. This meant it was time, time to go and save yet another state from infection. Vi'deam nodded and lowered his head, he picked up his paws and trotted towards Travis. ' Such an intelligent being you are, Vi'deam.' Travis's voice split through the air and vanished with the cold. Vi'deam flinched his eyes as small mist of water drizzled onto them. Fogging up his robotic vision for a moment. He stood patiently while Travis assembled the Harness onto his body. Then on went the leash, and Travis led Vi'deam towards the entrance of the field, Travis had already had his suit and armor on at this point. The two waited right outside the fence, waiting for every wolf and man to assemble in a line to head out for training. they would have to take a helicopter to the training course, because going there on foot would be too dangerous. You just never know if the infection will be in a certain area at one point, this world is never fully safe anymore. The military didn't want to have a surprise zombie attack when the K-9s and men wern't ready for it. Training was a must before every mission, it was only a quick cluster of padded down robots running at the dogs like zombies. It was more than enough preparation and adrenaline for the real thing.

Gin hungrily wolfed down what was left of the dropping-like food, running her salmon tinted tongue over her lips with a huff. Another mission- another boring training right before it. She could see Kadance approach, harness in hand. The young wolf seated herself up, tail erect and waving at the blonde woman as she suited her up- adding goggles on her as well. The poor canine's eyesight wasn't the best, so they put goggles on her on every mission to prevent dust and debris coming in contact with her eyes. Suited up, Gin followed Kadance outside, her tawny pelt being ruffled as a helicopter approached with it's loud noises. "You'll just attract more zombies towards here.." The fae yawned, sitting down with her ears flung up towards the flying vehicle.

Finishing her breakfast, she scanned the area with her robotic eyes, searching for John. "Hey, there you are!" she barked, trotting over to her partner and waiting as her teal harness was fastened, and the leash clipped. John didn't say anything except for a small "heel." Tail up, excited for another day of killing those creepy infected humans, Tala trotted after her partner. Padding to the gate of the field, she waited for orders as the heli. flew in. "So, Vi'deam, what's up?" she asked to make some small talk. "Where are we going this time?"

As every wolf aligned, the helicopter landed, one after another each man and dog boarded the larger-than usual helicopter. Vi'deam shook his fur and huffed The voice of tala erupted into the air, but it was barely deciphered due to the noise of the helicopter blades. ' So, Vi'deam, what's up?' The male shot a look behind him, and he had a visual of Tala. More words escaped her maw ' Where are we going this time?' Vi'deam took a few more steps forward in the line, and shot a glance back at Tala once more. " I am not sure where the training course is, but California is our next mission. " He shot his attention back to the helicopter, He was next to board along with Travis. He came to a halt, scanning the two soldiers who stood on each side of the helicopter, guns in hand. He looked back up, and launched his body into the air, and landing on all fours, he was in the helicopter now. He took a few steps to the back of the copter, and sat with Travis, waiting for others to board.

This is the training area, around the building is protected by giant fences of electrical wires, and more soldiers, so no real zombies can get in. You will be attacking fake robotic zombies here.

Viva trudged past the other slow dogs she then snapped "MOVE IT!" She looked at the commander she then said "Since your the commander where are we going?" Her small tag flung around, she then sat down by the commander her small tail swiping the corse ground.

Tala's robotic eyes focused on the wolf who had come up behind her and snapped. "Excuse you?" she growled, flashing her titanium teeth. Her orange robotic eyes narrowed, making her look extremely menacing. As they did when she was mad, gradually turned red and the light grew more intense. She made a scan of the unknown wolf: Viva. Near maybe three years old? Her eyes flashed white once and softened back into orange. Breathing out a sigh, she said in a low voice, "It will be you who is on the front lines today." She had already made up a plan in her mind -- even though she didn't know where they were going -- and now this 'Viva' had gotten herself a spot on the front lines. Of course, Tala's battle plans didn't always go her way, but she would try. Giving in to John's useless tugging, she kicked her back legs at Viva to resemble her burying waste, then continued after her frustrated human partner.

"Pup?" Tala laughed lightheartedly. "I'm two years older than you, pup." Flicking her ears forward, she strutted after John into the helicopter, waiting for him to fasten a vest on -- one he'd forgotten to strap on earlier. Keeping her head turned away from the other wolves, she glanced out at the small drop that would soon form into a huge one.

The male overheard arguing in the line, of course two females. Vi'deam flashed a snarl, revealing titanium. " You two, put aside the bickering, we have an important mission to proceed, we don't need fighting among-st each other, especially not right now, get in or stay behind!" He ended it with a quick bark, and he scooted back to his position next to Travis, As everyone boarded, the male looked at Tala. She was one of the more wiser among-st everyone, along with Gin and Dax. He glanced to Viva, who was a bit younger and could possibly use some more training in socialization. He sighed and layed down, resting his head on his front paws, this ought to be a long ride.

The helicopter rose, giving Vi'deam a funny feeling in his gut. He was used to the rides by now, though. He knew exactly where they were going once the air craft turned, they were making their way to Oregon, where a small training course stood. It was just a abandoned building full of rubble and glass shards. He peered towards Viva and Tala seriously you two, keep it focused, we have real lives on the line here." He looked specifically at Viva, who had started the whole arguement just minutes ago.

Viva Her ears darted back she growled lowly she then said "I have no human companion. None." Looking away she sighed she then said "They all think I am cursed because of my black fur." She said holding in the tears.

Gin lazily hopped up and into the chopper, splaying across the floor with her trainer by her side. "Shut it, you two. The last we need is you killing eachother on the field." The goggled dog slashed the air with her tawny tail and turned towards Vi'deam, scanning him before doing the same with the other suited canines. "Sooo, how are you all today?" Gin spread her lips into a large grin, attempting to start a conversation instead of listening to those two fight.

Tala smiled. "Hi Dax, and I'm good Gin" she said with a friendly loll of the tongue before closing her mouth. It was time for some more serious business. "Vi'deam, what's the plan? Where are we going?" the white wolf flicked her ears, ornge eyes gleaming. Standing up to peer down at the ground, far below, Tala felt her heart start to beat harder at her chest. Even though she was secured by a leash and a harness, plus a window, she'd always been afraid of heights. With a small flatten of the ears, she pulled back into the helicopter with the rest of the wolves.
