Earlier today, I was bored. I saw a 'Nikki Minaj' at the Stone Bridge and got an idea:
I should make a group with all the singers! So, I went and made Lady Gaga - someone I have a love-hate relationship with. Then, I made a group. We weren't going to rp - just chat, joke around, and sing random lyrics - ya know, just have fun! At first, things went great; I got a decent amount of members and we were having an awesome time.
But then, someone begun to call us annoying. Now, please note we weren't messing around with anyone - just chatting both in Local and Group. Time-to-time I would announce our group to see if someone wanted to join. However, once that one person protested, others begun to join in.
They called us 'trolls' and told us we were 'immature' and 'idiots' and so on. It really begun to hurt, due to the fact we weren't being mean to anyone.
One person even said if I didn't leave, they'd 'delete my account'. Sadly, I didn't write down usernames.
Eventually, others begun to stand by us and tell the protesters to leave us alone.
About twenty minutes later - give or take - the subject was dropped (though some people still said we should leave).
So, here's my question:
Did I do something wrong?
Edit: Thank you all! I feel much better. I see I did not break any rules nor did anything wrong. I appreciate the help a lot. Next time I deal with such things, screenshots will be taken as well as the Block button used. Cyber-bullies won't get away with it next time! c:

You didn't do anything at all floof. You were being creative and seeking a good time to hang with those who shares the same likes, or in this case music, as yourself. Very little individuals bestow such a widespread imagination, it's something that shouldn't be so belittled.
It was they, the very individuals who looked down upon you and your group, who were wrongdoing. They were being cyber-bullies, to put it simply. You and your group have the same right as they to remain where you are and it was very rude of them to so bluntly state such vulgar, heartless statements. In fact, such behavior is looked down upon. That being said, if you happen to encounter said individuals again, it'd be best you contact a mod/admin (as well as take screenshots) and explain to them of the situation. I guarantee the members who were bullying you and your acquaintances won't continue to do so for long if said actions is taken.
I wish you the best of luck. Also, +floof for your troubles.

You did nothing wrong hun, there is nothing in the rules that says how you should RP or hang around with your friends. Making a group with singers doesn't sound like a bad thing at all. Just keep in mind with the rules that are here for you to fallow and if you fallow em, then you did nothing wrong.
Some people do have a different sense of humor, some might find it annoying, some might find it hilarious. It just all depends on the person themselves. And really if your not bugging anyone then you really shouldn't care about the negative comments people are saying to you.

I really appreciate that, Vespian! I wish I took a screenshot, but, of course, I did not. Next time I plan to use the pretty prt sc button as well as the Block (I did block one person who was just too much to bear any longer) button next time such a scene happens. I was tempted to move, but right when I was about to, most of it stopped. One person apologized, due to not having enough sleep the night before (or as she had said) and was eagerly forgiven.
I appreciate the floof as well. Thank you for your help.

I also appreciate your post as well, Feareh. Usually, I tend to rp on FeralHeart (due to it being an rping game), but today there seemed to be role-plays that I wasn't interested in. Therefore, I was bored.
I understand people have different opinions, and I don't mind if they state them - as long as name calling isn't introduced into it. In fact, once I felt we had enough members, I planned to leave the Stone Bridge anyways. If they had waited until then politely, nothing would have happened.
I try my best not to annoy others and to follow the rules - I read them all the time to make sure I don't miss something. c:

I don't see anything wrong with singing songs. As Vespian stated it would be considered cyber-bullying. Honestly I don't think anything is wrong with just singing random songs on a virtual game - aren't you just having fun? Now if it were inappropriate lyrics that were being mentioned that would be a different situation, but in this case I believe these lyrics were clean and appropriate for others. Threatening others just because you think they're annoying and immature isn't the best way to go, referring to when someone said they would delete your account. It even mentions it in the rules that:
Respect Each Other
If you are caught Harassing and/or threatening other players inside the game it can result in a warning/kick/ban all depending on the severity of the case, having conflicts or arguments is one thing but personally attacking users with hurtful, racist and/or offensive language within the game will not be tolerated. FeralHeart has a wide user-base and a lot of different users log on every day to play the game. As a member of the game you should be polite to everyone no matter which age, gender or views they might have. If there's a problem within the game, block/ignore the users instead attacking each other for various reasons, possibly post a report to the Mods and Admins here on the forum if seen needed."

I planned just to have a few laughs with some new-made friends - the lyrics we would sing (if we got unto the singing topic) would be a nice clean version without a trace of a bad word. I was raised not to curse, and tend to like it that way.
In fact, when each person joined, I stated to them not to curse and to follow the FH rules.
I forgot to add this in the top, but one person stated that FeralHeart should be the age of thirteen and up. I said the following:
"That's mean to say - my nine-year-old cousin enjoys FeralHeart. It's not supposed to be for older people. In fact, that's why the rules state not to curse in public maps; for the kids." I didn't mean to sound rude in any way, but that ticked me off.
Moving on, next time I'll report and block, as I said before. Thank you for posting!

You didn't do anything wrong, lemme tell you that those who were calling you rude names and threatening to 'delete your account' are just seeking out a way to hurt someone. And once one person does something, then another joins in. It's a common thing to see such hate happening inside feral heart.
People sometimes tell me not to announce my group because I am stealing their members... weird or what? Anywho, I think that if this happens the next time then you should defiantly write down all the usernames, and send them off to the mods to deal with. Make sure to have one or two screenshots though as evidence.
I must agree strongly with Vespian and oreoheroz that such behaviour is classed as cyberbullying. It is great that you have chosen to keep cursing out and reminded each member the feral Heart rules. I do not see any wrong which you may have done however next time please take screenshots so that the staff can eliminate such haters.
I hope that this never happens again. Good luck with your group floof.

Thank you, dear CrystalWolfTear!
I plan to screenshot such actions if it happens again, and have the program 'Notepad' on my computer that would be handy to type up Usernames.
And....stealing members? Wow; I've seen it before, but never been told it. How can you steal members if some people may not like their rp? x'D
Anyways, I appreciate your posts, all of you. Thank you.

Like the others have already said You didn't do anything wrong dearie~
What happened is that they were being the trolls, people who say or do something to get attention and a reaction. And plan to take screen shots the next time you see something like this c:
-
Indeed I will add into what all the others have already said: You have done nothing wrong.
And even if it would be that you somehow annoyed another player, it can be solved in a far more mature way then calling someone a "idiot".
And no one can delete your account. So that's just nonsense talk.
As long as you respect your fellow players you can RP and have a good time in any map, and any place.
If people start cussing you out or harrassing you then you are welcome to send screenshots to the staff.
Take care floof~ // Shallow
-
You did nothing, le annoying trolls that hate creativity and thinking outside of the box did.
-
Don't worry luff, as the others already mentioned, you have done nothing wrong.~
Some people can get very disrespectful, and I must say that it's quite annoying, especially in such a situation, where people randomly begin to cuss at you, for only having a bit of fun and minding your own business.
As said before, you have done nothing wrong, and luckily there exists a block button and the ability to report problems as such to staff, for if cyber bullying happens to occur.
Also can they not anyhow 'delete' your account, they are only threatening, as they don't have any good manners.

You are welcome dear. It is always good to save screenshots on either photo bucket or in your feral heart screenshot folder. You may always upload your screenshots to tinypic or photo bucket and post the url or image code in your message etc.
And yeah, some think of pathetic reasons just to make others less important. But your right, some may not like their rp's so they shouldn't make such a fuss over a group or rp.

Darling, I'm going to say what everyone else is saying to you, you did nothing wrong, you were having fun, and no one can blame you for that. People just hate seeing others having fun when they are having a bad day or week. Lord knows its happened to me enough. But just know, you didn't do anything. Just ignore people when they do that and keep letting yourself have fun, it's not worth it in the long run to obsess and get upset about what people say.
And by the way, that sounds like a very fun, curious, quirky and interesting idea.
