Name: Evismera is the name given by her mother, but to others, she is known as the 'sneaky one' due to her skittish nature.
Species: She is a big-cat.
Breed: The female is a leopard.
Gender: She is a female.
Age: The cat is a young adult, only two years old.

-------------------------------

Description: Evismera is a strange looking leopard. She obviously doesn't fit the match of one that you would see out in the wild. The female is small, much smaller than any known leopard around. The feline's body also doesn't seem to be that muscular as a normal leopard, either, yet she still proves to have surprising, deadly weight and size. This is the fact she is still a young adult, she'll most likely get a bit bigger as she grows, but for now, she is stuck being quite the small 'big'-cat. But despite her small character, she is still as beautiful as any other big-cat, and even striking with her odd, slightly melanism fur. She has the ordinary, unique, spotted-look of a normal leopard, with a white-furred soft underbelly and tawny fur, yet she has black along her back, her spots also appearing a lot darker than the average leopards spots, she stands out amongst most leopards for this very reason.

Personality: Evismera is a shy, yet sweet 'lil' cat. She is incredibly friendly to anyone that she knows well, and also seems to be highly affectionate. You can't pet her and expect her not to cuddle with you for a bit. She is a lover, and definitely not a fighter, choosing to be passive and not at all in any way aggressive or mean. This is mainly due to her slightly sheltered, more reserved life- seeing not very many bad things has made her quite naive of the world around her, but she still holds an irrational fear for the unknown, making her a bit skittish around strangers, and  a little wary, more cautious cat that how she'd normally be.

With a naturally polite, gentle out-look, she is loving and kind with little or no exceptions, and has a more carefree, peaceful outlook on life. Even though she is naturally mature and polite, she still holds a more childish look on life, and it doesn't take much to bring out that more playful, excitable, daring and adventurous side of her. With a friendly smile and heart open to friendship, she is a sweet girl with a patience surpassing even her own species. She is even a hopeless romantic, a true softy of that sort, any romantic gestures seems to make her shy however, and very bashful. Despite being a royal pet, she loves to explore the areas around her, as she is a true traveler, yet loves having a home, as well. She has lost most of her wild instincts, but that doesn't mean they are gone forever. They are more suppressed instincts, battered down by the force of captivity, they'd most likely reappear if she spent her life living the hardships of a true big-cat.

Type: Royal pet
Occupation: N/A
Family: She lives in the pharaoh's palace.
Brief History: This sweet leopard was originally off living in the wild, with her mother, however- she had been taken from the wild and put into captivity along with her family, growing up in a royal-palace had erased most of her wild-instincts. Her mother wasn't too fond of palace life, and had ended up running away, leaving her only cub in the hands of the humans. Evismera was sad as any cub would be, but after a long time of living in the palace, she has grown up in it, and has gotten over her mothers disappearance. Due to living in the land for so long, she knows the palace very well, and the city.

Nakhti woke early in the morning, her slow and sluggish movements stirring the orange feline that rest beside her. The samoli opened her mouth in a wide yawn and Nakhti chuckled quietly, "How'd you sleep Akil?" The cat practically rolled her eyes, "Would've slept better had you not been kicking my side constantly." Nakhti dipped her head in apology and crawled out from under the merchant's wagon that they had been sleeping under. The bright sunlight blinded the dog for a second, but her eyes quickly adjusted as she looked towards the Pharaoh's Palace.

Bastet's furless ears flicked under the heat of the sun. She had always loved these days, cool jewelry clinking in the breeze that came almost once an hour, watching the laborers, stays, and lower-class occupants mill around below. She had situated herself on the edge of the sun-bleached brick house. Her jewelry was obnoxious and glimmered in the sun, but as she said, "all the better to attract more attention." Stretching in the hot sunlight, she hopped down to a lower rooftop to get a closer look.

Sobek

As the sunlight filtered through the wide square cut window, Sobek slowly blinked awake. Giving his narrow head a brief shake, the hound sat up on his large pillow which was placed just below the window of his teenage master's chamber room. After a long yawn, Sobek brought up a hind paw to casually scratch at an itch under his rather large choke collar. Satisfied, he turned his attention to Rameses, who had unusually slept in longer than he had probably intended to. Hopping to his paws, Sobek darted towards the sleeping male and leaped up onto his bed, wasting no time before mindlessly licking the face of the young prince, who grumbled and shoved the dog's head away with a chuckle. "Okay, okay." He laughed, sitting up. Upon realizing he had slightly overslept, he quickly scrambled out of the fancy bed and over to the waiting servant who helped dress him. "Come, Sobek. We're running late!" Rameses exclaimed, shoving the large chamber doors open. Sobek tilted his head and happily trailed along as usual, tail wagging as he trotted down the elegant alabaster halls. As the two hurried along, the servant tailed them, adjusting a few nit-picky things on Rameses' outfit to ensure he was presentable as always.

Ka

The Greyhound had been awake long before the sun peeked over the city buildings and sky-scraping statues. He had spent the night in the slave slum village- the one place he found was easiest to scavenge food from, as the people were more tolerant towards strays it seemed, though the food was far poorer in quality than the food he could get closer to the Palace. But hey, beggars can't be choosers. Long narrow legs swiftly moving in a trot, Ka exited the slave village with a small morsel of quail clenched in his jaws. He figured he'd go to his favorite spot to watch the sun rise- in front of the three Pyramids beside the Pharaoh's Palace, to enjoy a well earned breakfast. The guards were usually pretty tight around the palace, but it was nothing he couldn't slip past. It wasn't like he was intruding or anything anyway.

Nakhti and Akil
Nakhti strolled towards the palace, taking in the usual sights and sounds while Akil softly padded next to her. One of the merchants behind the wooden stalls bent down and offered the cat a scrap of lamb meat, which Akil graciously took and devoured quickly. Giving her companion a growl, Nakhti rolled her eyes and set out to find her own breakfast. Suddenly a glint of light coming from the roof of a nearby building caught her attention and she looked up, squinting her eyes to see a feline shape on the roof. Akil huffed "It's that god-awful palace cat again." the dog nodded, the corners of her mouth turned down in a frown, "Is it really necessary to wear all that jewelry?" Akil shrugged and continued towards the edge of the river that ran past the palace.

Osiris walkd over to his bed, grumbling. His tired legs collapsed on the bed. A servant brought him a food and water bowl, muttering something then dashing off to an unseen need. Osiris had kept night-watch duty. For the average dog it was dangerous, patrolling the halls with only torches to guide your way. But Osiris was not your ordinary dog, he would rip and tear for the fun of it, and kill to protect. He was one of the only dogs powerful enough to qualify for this duty.
Osiris inched forward, sniffing his food. It was the meat of some prey he couldn't reconize. Even though he had been a hunter, he was too ruthless to bring back prey without ripping it to skin and bones. He gobbled down the meal, licking his lips and lapping up some water. A different servant walked in, stroking Osiris and collecting the food and water bowls. Despite being so cruel, Osiris liked being stroked on his back, behind his ears, or on his belly. It always felt good, plus it tickled a bit. Curling up, the black and white dog fell asleep, his ears pricked.

Sobek

Sobek trotted behind Rameses down the long echoing hallway of the Palace towards the enormous double doors that sealed off the Pharaoh's throne room. The two servants quickly heaved the heavy wooden doors open upon their arrival, and they confidentially slipped into the large room that was teeming with life. The many ribbon dancers who performed for the Pharaoh's entertainment along with company of the high priests, servants, and others made the throne room a vibrant place at most times of day. Sobek's easily amused attention shot from one human to the other as he trotted beside his teenage companion. As Ramses stopped before the elevated throne of his father, Sobek flopped down to his haunches, a mindless grin on his face as he panted and stared up. The two humans began to speak, but the canine tuned it out, far too interested in watching the flowing red ribbon trailing behind one of the dancers. Once it seemed Ramses and Pharaoh's conversation had concluded, Sobek tailed behind the young prince as he strolled out of the enormous room. Pausing outside once the two heavy doors were tugged closed, Ramses put his hands on his knees and turned to his canine counterpart. "Well, what do you say we go on a chariot run?" He questioned the dog with a mischevious smirk. The Pharaoh Hound's tail wagged in excited agreement, and he bounded after the teen towards one the palace exits.

Ka

Peeking around the corner of the Palace, the stray trotted out once the coast was clear. Making sure to keep far away from the wall to ensure he wasn't thought of as trying to trespass on such a seemingly sacred place, the Greyhound widened the gap between him and the western wall of the Palace, sights set on the Pyramids in the distance. Ka weaved his way between the slaves who were hard at work making the mortar and stone for the continuing construction of one of the Great Sphinxes until he was free of the large crowd of humans for the most part. Paws sinking in the sand, he picked his way over to one of the three Pyramids and climbed onto the base stone of the nearest one. Laying down, he began his feast of the old quail given to him in the village while watching the harsh slave drivers whipping and shouting at the hard working slaves as they pulled huge stack after stack of bricks from their construction place over to the work in progress statue.

Renen's feathered feet elegantly struck the ground as she walked along the side of the busy road, merchants and slaves pushing through the amounts of people with loud yells. Taking no notice of it, the young canine picked up her latest catch -- a simple steak, and started to weave amongst the chatting humans and other animals until she started to pelt towards the pyramids out of sake of curiosity. The brindled shape caught her eye, and she was a bit hesitant to approach. The sudden sounding of a whip behind the cream Saluki made her jump forward in surprise, having no option to hide from the slaves behind one of the large pyramids. When the slaves had forgotten about her, Renen stepped out, eying the grey Greyhound with an amused flick of her silky tail. "Hello there." She chirped, slowly approaching the male with light smile spread on her lips. "Mind if I sit?" She asked, glancing at the space beside him. She never really had a chance to simply chat along. There wasn't any time for it, anyway.

Ashai's salmon colored tongue twirled around his lips as he did a slight purr at the teenagers that crowded around him. He was always the center of attention -- of course. A sudden yell from the Pharaoh made the male leopard jerk back, golden collars jingling as they clanked together. The group of teens dispersed quickly -- like fleeing gazelle that just noticed a lion waiting in ambush. Snorting, he raised a paw and covered his eyes before leaning down onto his tawny side right next to the Pharaoh's throne. He mostly served as a scare factor, it was entertaining, really.

Mafdet

As the rays of sunlight merely touched the feline's paws, Mafdet blinked opened his eyes, releasing a yawn. Rising to his paws, the male stretched, tightening his muscles before shaking them loose once more. Tossing a causal glance at his master's sleeping place, a surge of excitement rose inside of him as he realized his master was gone. As he turned his gaze away from the sleeping place, he placed a paw onto the ground, relaxing at the warmth of the floor. Trotting out of the room, he scurried outside - his green eyes darting around. A flash of light caught his eye - he raised his head, squinting at the blinding light. A figure was hovering over another rooftop - seeming to peer down at the streets. Mystified, Mafdet wondered who held possession of the shining object and curiosity struck him. Without hesitating, the feline bounded across the busy street - doing his best to avoid the merchants and citizens. When he reached the side of the home, he glanced around cautiously, before scrambling on top of varies objects in order to get up. Once his claw at hooked on the rooftop, he heaved himself up, panting heavily in order to receive his breath. A cat like him wasn't used to climbing so vigorously, and he paused for a moment, heaving and panting. Once he had caught his breath, he turned his attention onto the feline, staring wide-eye for a moment. Relaxing when he realized it was a Sphinx, he sheathed his claws, tilting his head to one side at the female. "Hi!" he chirped. His childish side was taking over now, but Mafdet didn't notice. "What's that thing around your neck?"

Sobek

Sobek paused to throw a curious glance over his shoulder at the leopard that had moved up towards the Pharaoh's throne, only catching a glimpse before the two heavy doors closed and separated them. "Sobek, come on." Rameses cooed, patting his thigh. The young hound blinked and turned, quickly bounded after him with an excited yip. His trimmed claws clicked on the fine stone flooring as they made their way down the long corridor and outside the Palace, turning to make their way towards the royal stables, where some servants already had Rameses' chariot ready. "Time to have a little fun." The teenage chuckled, hopping into the standing cab and grasping the reigns to control the two horses that were hitched to it. Sobek panted in anticipation and leaped up into the cab. He had always loved chariot rides- and the reckless driving of his master always provided extra enjoyment.

Ka

Wrapped up in his mindless plucking of the feathers on his meal, Ka flinched in surprise at the sudden voice that broke his concentration. Blinking, he stared over to notice the Saluki standing there, gazing upon him curiously. "Hmm?- Oh, of course!" Ka yipped, immediately flashing a friendly grin and sitting up a bit, his long slender tail swaying against the dusty stone beneath him. "Haven't seen you around before. Hi! My name's Ka." The Greyhound introduced with a dip of his small head. His ears twitched at the piercing sound of one of the slave driver's whips against the back of one of the slaves, but it wasn't a sight strange to him, so he kept his warm gaze on the female, merely ignoring the shouts, cries, and cracks.

The sphynx puffed out her chest and narrowed her eyes. "Who might you be? One of the merchant cats?" she sneered, flattening her furless ears. "A maiden would not talk to one as low as you!" Bastet scoffed, looking down on the cat. "It's a neckalace, don't you have any smart in that tiny brain of yours? I suppose not." Curling her tail around her paws, she yawned as the sun's heat made her sleepy and lay down with her wrinkled paws tucked under her equally-as-folded-skin chest.

Mafdet

Mafdet, taken back, flattened his ears and jerked away. "Don't you have any sense to grow some fur?" He muttered under his breath. He had already taken disliking for this stuck-up feline. "Okay, jeez - wow. Sorry. Besides, it's not like you know everything." He pointed out, scowling in disapproval. Sulking in silence, the feline remained silent, before glancing at the Sphinx and asking, "Do you know what fur is?"

Nakhti and Akil
Akil watched as the sphinx hissed at a tom that had climbed up to the roof top as well. She huffed and gave Nakhti a nod, telling the dog to continue towards the palace. Climbing up the walls of the building seemed easy now compared to years previous, perhaps it was just that she had been growing accustomed to the ways of a street cat.
Now that she was on the roof, Akil could see that the green eyed, spotted tom was focused on the jewelry around the 'maiden's' neck.

Nakhti continued her stroll, dodging a few wagons and a loaf of bread that was thrown at her. She could see the prince; Rameses and his dog, whom she heard was named Sobek. She despised the dog, and tried her best to stay away from the two when they went on chariot rides, but this time she was curious. Nakhti bounded towards them quickly, and stopped before actually reaching the royal pair to hide underneath a wagon.

The leopard had been asleep, laying on the many formations that made the beautiful palace. She had been hidden from view, choosing not to lay in the open- yet somewhere where she  could bask in the sun for a moment when she woke up in peace. The feline had slowly stretched her body, making sure that she didn't fall as she reached towards the sky in pure bliss, the sun bathing her fur in its glorious light. The jingle of her necklace and earrings split the quiet air, as she rolled over, peering out from her hiding spot. Gracefully she had made her way up, slender legs allowing her to easily climb the tall formations until she was on the main pathway of the palace, trotting out towards the city. Sure she was a royal pet, but she loved to explore.

She had walked into the city slowly, her tail swishing behind her. Some people had walked over, but she had smoothly, and rather shyly made her way forward until she had managed to climb the roof of a building. The small feline usually used this buildings as her main way of transportation for the fact that she didn't want to be caught in the hectic life of the city, you had to avoid a lot of stuff if you traveled there. So she had made her way across the rooftops, having grown accustomed to leaping and jumping due to her time in the city. The sight of three cats made her stop, and she curiously peered at the other roof. It was a Sphinx, a normal  cat, at least that's what she called them, and another feline watching them over. She didn't bother to make her way over though, she was content watching the busy life of the city, observing carefully- with ears tucked lightly. The feline was quite shy to her kind, maybe that was why she didn't have many friends? Most likely.

Anput

Licking her maw, Anput rolled her eyes towards the other leopard - also known as Ashai. Staying away from the attention, she watched closely as the teenagers crowded around Ashai, bristling slightly whenever a hand touched his fur. She didn't understand how he even tolerated the teens - weren't they a bunch of pesky creatures in the palace? "At least to me," she muttered under her breath, tossing a glance at the Pharaoh. Anput jerked slightly when the Pharaoh abruptly yelled, causing the teens to scatter and Ashai to retreat back to the throne. Rising to her paws, the female leopard padded up the few stairs, before examining Ashai curiously. Giving him a brisk lick across the ear, Anput rested her haunches - pressing her paws together in a tight squeeze. "I hope they didn't hurt you." She murmured, her "mother tone" creeping up.

Renen's heart stopped thumping as she slowly sat down beside the greyhound -- Ka, apparently. "Nice to meet you, I'm Renen." The silk-furred canine announced with a quickened wag of her creamy tail. Eying the meal Ka had started to eat, she started to nibble at her own, tucking her paws under her fluffed up chest. "So, what are you doing here?" Renen started a conversation, keeping her warm gaze one the brindled male.

Ashai did another purr before sniffing the air with his opaque whiskers gently quivering. A female -- known as Anput approached, swiping her tongue over his ear before sitting down before him. "You know they wouldn't hurt me, An." He snorted, briskly licking his large paw and wiping it over his face. "I'll go see where Evismera is. I'm all stiff, anyway." The male said, getting up onto his feet and pelting through the castle doors with a quick 'see you' directed toward Anput as he vanished around the corner.

After some time, he had arrived into the crowded city, following Evismera's scent down the busy path before jumping up onto a broken pillar and leaping onto the roof. Flattening himself against the roof's heated surface, Ashai's tawny ears pricked up at the mewling of the "small cats" on the next roof. Pulling his lips into a smug smirk, the male leopard slowly made his way towards them with glitter goldenrod eyes tightened into slits. "Kitties, I hope you all know better than fighting here, hm?" A purr of amusement poured through his maw, studded collar blinking in the harsh sunlight. He loved messing around with those smaller cats. Another shape caught his eye -- Evismera was near, on the nearby roof, actually. Ashai turned his attention towards the smaller felines. "Quit your bickering, kitties." With an additional glance at Bastet, he narrowed his eyes with a slight chuckle. "Nobody likes a bragger, you do know that? Shut your mouth and return to your business or I'll rip that necklace off and stuff it in your mouth." With that, he hurried towards the other female leopard.

Sobek

Paws on the side rim of the chariot cab, Sobek panted happily, waiting for his master to whip the horses into motion. As he waited, he caught a faint glimpse of another canine scramble beneath a relatively nearby wagon, making the young Pharaoh Hound perk his ears in curiosity. His curious thoughts were soon shattered as Rameses gathered the reins and with a quick snap of them against the horses' backs, the equines reared and lunged forward into a gallop. The sudden jerking forward almost tore Sobek off his paws, but he managed to keep his footing. The thought of the other dog vanished, quickly replaced by the joy of the ride. Drawing his ears back, Sobek raised his head, enjoying the whipping wind on his slim face with his tongue flopping from the side of his grinning jaws. Rameses jerked the horses to the left and redirected the chariot towards the city, where he often enjoyed causing trouble by racing through the streets.

Ka

Ka paused his nibbling of the quail to gaze up at the cream colored fae, half folded ears perking forward to catch her words. A friendly smile soon stretched across his long muzzle. "Nice to meetcha." He remarked, tail continuing to wag. The hound tipped his head slightly to the side at her following question and shrugged. "Eating. Heh, what's it look like?" He joked with a grin.

The leopard stiffened at Ashai's response, before slowly relaxing as she nodded in return. As Anput watched the young male leave, a short sigh escaped her maw as she glanced around. Gently sniffing the air, the leopard rested back onto her haunches, knowing well that Rameses - the young Pharaoh - must have gone out with Sobek. Releasing a yawn, Anput cautiously made her way out, slipping between the narrowed crack of the two massive doors. She gave them a flick with her tail, wondering why even the Pharaoh wanted them there. It was a bother - waiting for them to open to allow the creatures to walk in and out as they pleased. Shaking her thoughts away, Anput soon found herself wandering about near the city. The old scent of Evismera was replaced by the fresh scent of Ashai, but the leopard simply ignored it, dismissing them with a twitch of her whiskers. While she explored a little, the sound of hooves pounding heavily against the ground made her jerk into the direction. What Anput saw made her bristle a little - seeing the Pharaoh's horses galloping at full speed toward the city. If she had looked a little harder, she would have seen the chariot with the young Pharaoh and Sobek inside, but Anput had already darted out of the way, hissing as she watched the chariot grow nearer. The sounds of horses became deafening to her ears - she wondered how Sobek even tolerated them.

Mafdet

The feline quivered as he felt the presence of another feline - as well as a large one. Stiffened, he did his best to crane his neck around, flexing his paws as he caught sight of the massive feline. Ignoring Bastet, he was about to turn away when another leopard leaped on top of the roof, muttering something to them as an amused purr escaped his maw. Flattening his ears, Mafdet lowered his head meekly. "O-okay." He stammered, watching as the larger cat brushed past towards the other. Knowing that the male leopard was known as Ashai, he noted to keep well out of his way as the feline hurried off, completing ignoring Bastet and the argument.

Nakhti's eyes widened when Sobek turned to look at her, but her sudden hopes of meeting the dog were crushed when the chariot sped away. Bumping her head in the process of getting out from under the wagon, she shook out her short fur and slowly trailed them, making sure to keep atleast a 6 foot distance from the prince and his dog. She followed them towards the city, keeping good pace until she began to tire and give up completely, collapsing on the side of the road.

~Aziza~

The sun blazed on her speckled coat, welcoming the day. She lay on the sun-faded velvet cushion beside the windowsill. Aziza had sent off all day, no time to visit Akins, just no time. Her brother was also napping, the farmer had left to fetch tools. She sighed, realizing she had to get up from her pleasant slumber. She padded across the warm floor, slowly due to tiredness. She slipped through the archway, considering she was not to be running around the palace. As she past the last doorway, she felt the warmth of the sun on her caramel-colored fur. She looked at the city, the city she had seen oh so may times. Her feet carried her off towards the housing, but not to see her brother, to be peaceful in the city. She was cloaked with fallen palm leaves as she drifted off to sleep, listening to the sounds off the city.

(Akins' has no story today, I'm way too tired)

Sobek

The two horses at the front of the chariot cab let out occasional shrieks as Rameses drove them full speed into the tight city. Sobek, with his head in the wind, was far too distracted by the excitement of the chariot run to notice the tan and white female canine who had begun to follow for a moment. Forepaws still up on the front wall of the chariot, the hound wobbled on his slim legs, holding tight to keep his balance as his master wrecklessly drove at high speed through the streets for his own amusement. The hooves of the horses thundered against the stone ground, signaling any civilian to get out of the way, because Rameses was enjoying himself far too much to bother to slow down. Sobek's tongue dangled from the side of his open jaws, tail wagging at the excitement of the ride, though he did bark a quick greeting to those fellow animals he managed to catch a glimpse of as they flew past, making their way out of the city and into more open ground near the Nile.

Osiris rested for a bit then stood up, walking through the hall's to the Pharoah's room. He entered, dipping his head in respect as he approached the Pharoah and licked his hand, walked to his great bed and bringing his master his sandal shoes. The pharoah smiled, petting Osiris and slipping into his shoes, then calling for a few guards as he left the room. Osiris followed, but walked outside. The Nile, far below, was teeming with life. Traders slowly trickling in, holding their goods in bags. A few hunters came in, their early catches held in their hands.  Osiris climbed down the stairs and approached a reed boat with a stranger in it. The stranger had a blue and white cloak on, with a few beads on his bracelets. The stranger looked at the dog, "I come to see the pharoah. My village has been struck with disease. Please take me to see your Pharoah, Palace guard." Osiris turned, the peasant following him as he approached the pharoah. The peasent talked with the pharoah for a bit, then was dismissed. Osiris escorted him back to his reed boat, and he sailed off upriver.

Nakhti looked up and saw that the chariot was becoming smaller and smaller as it rode away, and her chances of meeting the great Sobek looked more and more bleak. "Well it was worth a shot..." she muttered slowly standing on protesting, sore legs and began the slow trudge back towards where the palace and Nile met, where she had promised to meet Akil later. Towards the bank she walked, this time not bothering to try and dodge the things that were thrown at her. Instead she just whined when a silver platter hit her haunches.

After the tom disappeared, Akil hissed at the sphinx and glowered at the leopard who had so conveniently joined them. Her orange pelt rippled in the sunlight as she stormed forward, getting close to the sphinx "I may not be a royal cat, but I will always be far more noble than you at heart." the words rolled smoothly off her tongue and she radiated and almost frightening aura. Then, with a flick of the tail she walked towards the edge of the roof and jumped, landing neatly on all four paws on the top of a merchant's stand and climbed back down to the ground. Chuffing angrily she quickly ran towards where she was supposed to meet Nakhti.

~Aziza~
She strolled along the streets, peering through each and every window she had past Passing a few familiar faces along the way. Her long walk had taken her to the Nile, she gazed into its pure waters, bustling with life and business. She looked upon the long stretch of water and spotted a familiar dog, Sobek, the grand dog according to the others. She agreed with them, he truly was a grand figure. She had also spotted his master who she knew as a friend, Rameses. There was a light colored female dog, farther from the chariot, who seemed exhausted. Interested to meet this Sobek she trotted along, following the chariot, not very efficiently. She had fallen much too far behind, with the exhausted female and also the chariot out of sight. She had been a tad disappointed with her wasted efforts, though she realised she could never outrun horses for the life of her.

When Nakhti finally made it to the meeting spot she saw that her cat friend was already waiting there, sunning herself on one of the large, flat rocks along the bank of the river. "Akil!" she barked and the feline abruptly looked up "Oh hey Ti!" she grinned. Coming up to stand next to the somali, Nakhti began to retell the earlier events in such a fast-pace fashion that she blurted it all out in a single breath. "Calm down Nakhti. Now what did you say?" The dog shot her an embarrassed smile. "I was out walking, and then I almost got to meet Sobek! But his chariot was to fast and I'm afraid I couldn't catch up..."
Akil smiled lightly "That's good.", Nakhti nudged her flank with a wet nose "So what did you do?". The cat shrugged, "Oh I had to break up an argument between that royal sphinx and another tom." she replied nonchalantly. "Ooooooh! You like this tom, don't you?!" the basenji barked, Akil's ears flattened "Wh-what? No! He just was slightly handsome!"
"Whatever you say Akil!"
