'Ello floofs! I got a little curious and decided to make a little topic thingamiginga. Anyways, what animal (or living thing rather) do you RP most on Feralheart? Anything you've never RPed as before and either really want to or never want to?
In my case, I tend to RP the standard Wolf and/or Feline, usually warrior cats or lions. Sometimes I find myself as a domesticated dog in a street RP. Despite this, I've always wanted to RP as a bird of some sort, due to the fact that bird RP's are so rare, not to mention you hardly see birds on Feralheart.

To be honest, I love role playing as cats<3 I've always had an interest in felines ever since I was young. I still love pretending to be a cat :D
"Everybody wants to be a cat", right?
However, my RP character isn't a cat, it's a wolf name 'Deku'. I made him when I decided to join TEC c: I got my inspiration from a LoZ Game, to be specific, "The Wind Waker". I named Deku after one of the enemies in the game known as the 'Deku Baba'. Since they were in the forest I decided that his color scheme should be green<3
And... that's what I love about my RP character :D

Usually something simple like a wolf, since I can't stand roleplaying as an animal I know barely anything about.

Normally I roleplay a mixed breed of wolf/dog. Take Vespian for example with him being a Canis lupus/Alsatian mix. Though he looks more like an Alsatian than a wolf. I've honestly never stuck to roleplaying anything else other than my own made-up species, the Creux.
I'm rather content in roleplaying the species I currently bestow as, like Ms. Kiki stated before me, I too dislike roleplaying a certain breed while knowing little to nothing about them.

Lately I have been roleplaying as hyenas quite a lot.
I also roleplay as aliens, mainly my own made-up species. As well as other sci-fi-y creatures.

Hmm. Well recently I've been chilling on my Dire Wolf character. I guess he's my new main for now. -Shrug- However, I am on my Thylacine quite often, as well as my mutt, Gringo. <3

I love rping as a canine most. I rp as a wolf every so often but I prefer rping as a dog. Here are my favorites:
Dog:
1.) Shiba Inu
2.) Doberman Pincher
3.) Akita Inu
4.) Various mixed breeds
Fox:
1.) Mainly red foxes.
Felines:
1.) Cheetahs
2.) Lionesses

Right now, I usually only RP as Faia, a Border collie/gray wolf hybrid. (She looks more like a Border collie than a wolf.)

Most of the time, I tend to rp as deer or bear characters (and the occasional rabbit or hare). I've been considering trying out in the horse roleplaying scene, especially since I've finished reading Black Beauty and I've got horses on the brain...
I've tried wolf roleplays in the past, but they never seemed to last long, and I was annoyed by the fact that all of these people who claim to love wolves and rp as wolves barely know anything about them...

It's always been canine characters but time to time I'll play as a feline with my lion or panther. There was also a time when I roleplayed demon or elemental characters but I never see any of my group again afterwards.
I've attempted making fox characters but they never turn out how I want. Anime characters or just humans are very challenging I find xD

Most of the time before, Lion. Idk why, maybe Lions have much more dramatic ness to me.

Hyena! Most of my characters are hyenas. Hyenas are fantastic.
I love hyenas. It's a shame there's so few hyena groups though! After a full year of roleplaying, I've only managed to find three realistic ones that have lasted beyond a week. Two are still going, thankfully! It's a swell break from the dime-a-dozen WC groups.

I don't really have a concrete animal I role-play the most, but if I had to choose, I'd say I play domesticated dogs and hyenas the most.

Personally, I tend to stand alongside the Wolf/dog roleplays. I know the anatomy of a canine much more then a feline, due to being raised around dog breeders and trainers. I find them both fascinating, and have attempted to learn the anatomy of the feline once, though it didn't go over too well. I will someday have to learn anyway since I want to become a vet, so I may give it another go, but until then I am sticking with my trusty old Canidae.

I am one of the four leaders of a multispecies hyena clan called "Corconditas", some of the members are in that screenshot^^
We, along with some other great hyena clans, usually hang around Fluorite.
Sorry for the overall off-topic-ness of this post, just wanted to assure you good hyenas do exist! We're not all grey and black "wolfiyenas" that live in packs!

The animals I RP the most as are domestic cats, that are not in any Clans. In fact, we should create a sub-species of the domestic cats called the O'Sullivan cats specially for FH, because it's such a big family, we can't even count them o-o
And also, I RPed the most as a Feliyena, a species created by my friends Faolanpaw and Lia~~, that is a hybrid between a domestic cat and a spotted hyena. But now, I'm tending to play as a cat.

It's a fairly even mix between canines, and ungulates with most of them having some sort of fantasy element to them. For example, my water deer doe, Shika, who has blue fur and is a psychopomp. There's also two favorite characters of mine who're mythological canines. I also like playing my sphinx. Though, to be honest, I've had difficulty finding rps on FH that my characters fit into.

Felines: Leopard (Akaris), Warrior Cat (Riverpelt etc)
Other things: Dragon (Kahira), Seelinia (Citrus)
I've got more charas, but these are the ones that I usually go on.

There is not much discussion on my answer to this, but it's definitely some sort of canine. You will see me around the South Pole all the time as a wolf, especially. I am very fond of the canine models, and I usually design them with full tufts, realistic colors, and flame, eyecover, or large mohawk manes. They all seem to have slightly rare names such as Theory, Mattik or Aeryn. It also appeals to me that wolves and dogs seem to be the only animals I can roleplay as correctly, since I love my canine species and I know a lot about their behavior and whatnot. It has been a long, long time since I have roleplayed as a feline.
The last time I have truly roleplayed as a feline was back in 2011-2012 when I hosted a well known and very large warrior cat roleplay. The clan slowly started to decrease and since then I haven't had much interest in felines. I love all kinds of felines though, I'm just not able to roleplay as them correctly. To be honest, the feline models aren't really to my liking.. So to shorten it, my answer is the wolf.
