So I recently downloaded the game to my Mac a couple days ago and it's been working fine but I tried to open it this time and I clicked on it like usual but all it did was the icon bounced like normal and then nothing happened I double clicked and waited and nothing happens! What do I do?

I checked my inbox and it says no messages Am I checking in the wrong place?

Perhaps there is another user with your same forum name and it went to them instead then. That tends to happen a lot when users have similar names.
Anyways first try restarting your computer. That has happen to me before and restarting usually helps. If that doesn't work maybe you should try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Perhaps something just got screwed up. If you have any presets, maps, or screenshots back those up first then uninstall and delete the Feral Heart folder before reinstalling.
