Title: Favorite Song?
Post by: PartyyRockinn on January 04, 2014, 05:16:18 pm
Lately I've not been able to find any good music at all. Plus I just really like to know about what kind of music people listen to. So reply to this with your favorite song or maybe even a link to it!

Mine right now has got to be Nicotine by Panic! at the Disco.

I think, at the moment it would have to be: Spinal Fluid Explosion Girl by Gakupo and Kaito (They are vocaloids so it's okay if you don't know them)

Yeah I've heard of Vocaloids, never really listened. I'll have to look this up.

Favorite song? Oh man. That's like rocket science for me! /)n(\ I can tell you my 3 most favorite bands though.

Paramore, my favorite band of all time, is a pop rock band from 2005. Good songs are That's What you Get, Hallelujah, Misguided Ghosts, The Only Exception, Still Into You, and much much more! They are still making music! I also really like Blink 182, a pop-ish punk rock band, and Panic! At The Disco (so much the lead singer is in my icon! He's younger in that picture, possibly from 2008, btw. Brendon has shorter hair now.), a band of mixed genres, but is on the pop side. I knew Paramore and Panic! At The Disco since 2007, and Blink 182 since last year. Blink 182 is not making music anymore, but P!ATD is. Both Paramore and P!ATD are signed to the same record, I think, Fueled By Ramen.

I can say more, but most of them are indie bands, bands that died out, bands that you probably will not like, and/or bands/singers that you are probably sick off. :B

I love Paramore & P!ATD! I don't really listen to Paramore anymore but I used to be a huge fan. Honestly I didn't like P!ATD before they made a comeback, but the new album is really good.

"Old" and "new" P!ATD seems the same to me, so I don't bother picking favorites. :p

This isn't much of a favourite song, but I find the song really amazing. It's Tonight, Tonight by Passion Pit (http://youtu.be/W4gMIGBI2Tc). Passion Pit is a great band, you should check out their other music. They are not really known that well and it makes me sad. ;'c

I have so many favorite songs. Is it just me, or do I like music that is not very popular? I think it's just me. Well anyway, here is a few that I like:

Mr.Brightside - The Killers
Smile Like you Mean It - The Killers
Quiet- Lights
Lions - Lights
Cactus in the Valley - Lights
Siberia - Lights
Second Go - Lights
All I Wanted - Paramore
Saviour - Lights

If these do not interest you, I suggest you go on Pandora. They pretty much introduced me to most of these songs.

I like listening to metal, metalcore, screamo, rock type of music, I also like dubstep. So that is kinda what you'll find in the list of my favourite songs. They're all in random order, I just copied it off the playlist on my phone.

Pretty on the Outside - Bullet For My Valentine
Your Betrayal - Bullet For My Valentine
Tears Don't Fall - Bullet For My Valentine

Don't You Dare Forget the Sun - Get Scared
Sarcasm - Get Scared
Built for Blame - Get Scared

Devil's Night - Motionless in White
Immaculate Misconception - Motionless in White
America - Motionless in White

This War is Ours - Escape the Fate

Chelsea Smile - Bring Me the Horizon
Hospital for Souls - Bring Me the Horizon
Sleepwalking - Bring Me the Horizon

Let the Bodies Hit the Floor - Drowning Pool (?)

Filth Friends Unite - I See Stars

The Diary of Jane - Breaking Benjamin

Depends what type of music you actually enjoy listening to. My personal favourites out of the list is Devil's Night, Pretty On the Outside and the songs by Get Scared.

Enjoy :3

I think me and a lot of people don't have a one favorite song necessarily, but since you asked. I loveee rock. Any kind of rock, rockabilly, progressive, hard, punk, alternative, indie I love it all.

Lately (for the past year or so) listening to a lot of Green Day. I know, I know, roll your eyes 'cause I know I'm a fangirl and think Billie Joe Armstrong is completely adorable, but not the point. Everyone knows them for the album American Idiot but let me tell you, some of the best songs they've EVER written was on the follow-up album in 2009 called 21st Century Breakdown. I recommend from it the title track, "21 Guns", "East Jesus Nowhere", "Static Age", and "Viva La Gloria!"

Another two of my favorite bands: The Killers and Foo Fighters. The Killers are similar to Imagine Dragons according to Pandora.. but I don't see it. They are indie/alternative, but the lead singer can write the deepest, most beautiful song lyrics incredibly easily. Some of the Killer's best include "All the Pretty Faces", "When You Were Young", "Smile Like you Mean It", "Mr. Brightside" and "A Dustland Fairytale." I was happy to see 2 earlier posts mentioned the Killers and Green Day so you should check 'em out, eh? :D

Lastly, Foo Fighters is an amazing alternative band with Dave Grohl, yes, the drummer of Nirvana. He's so gifted and his drummer is an animal. Their best songs are: "I Should've Known", "Learn to Fly" "Times Like These" "Walk", "Everlong" (<--personal fav) and "Hey, Johnny Park". Check out some of their concerts on youtube, you can totally tell that these guys are NOT in it for the money and they love what they do, and that's all just what making music SHOULD be, not what Katy Perry and Lady Gaga and crap are doing -.- *hating on mainstream*

Sooo that was a lot, I know but let me know if you like any of it! <3 Peace out, -Refugee

I love Katy Perry though. She's a talented singer to me. I think she's very beautiful too. Ughh, California Gurls got her a bad image alright. D:

Yeah I guess that's all I've heard from her, and the cover of one of her albums... Teenage Dream I think she's like nude. So when I see her unfortunately all I can think is "trashy".... O_o
